There is a lot of road noise early in the morning since condo is located just off road. Can't imagine sleeping 6 here. There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on cutlery and basic dishwear. As others have mentioned, there is no Internet in the area, so print off what you need to check in. Good wifi once you actually get in unit. Small deck had BBQ which we didn't use. It only had one canvas chair to sit in, which was in terrible shape, so no one wanted to take a chance. Two deck chairs would have been appreciated. There is a row of cabins in front of unit which seem to be long term rentals. Overall this unit is on the small side, but clean and looks at water (partially obscured by cabins in front) "

Located toward the south end of Yachats, this home is within a short drive of the restaurants, galleries, and market in town. You may want to take a three-minute drive south to Cape Perpetua, one of the very best viewpoints on the entire coast, which also has fascinating tide pools, great hiking trails, and rugged, rocky coastline. Or, if you want to visit other coastal cities, Florence is a 25-mile drive to the south, and Newport is 25 miles north.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home can easily accommodate six guests, and you may even bring two dogs with you! An additional nightly pet fee will apply. Year round bird activity makes this home appropriately named “The Swallows.” Many call The Swallows “A little piece of heaven”, and it is!

The Swallows is located at the end of a quiet little street on the northwest end of Yachats. The house is just one block from seven miles of sandy beach to the north. To the south is the beginning of the historic 804 Trail which meanders along the coastline with breathtaking views of waves crashing on rocks and scenic sunsets. You can walk the trail all of the way into town which in total is about a half hour walk- one way. Stop off along the trail to the Adobe for a meal in their oceanfront restaurant.

You can see the ocean from the living room and dining room and on a nice day sit out on the deck with a cup of tea, soaking in the rays and listening to the sounds of the pounding ocean. The house is a very comfortable, bright , cheery, well stocked abode that is cozy in all seasons, with warm fluffy blankets and comfortable beds.

On a rainy day, enjoy a walk along the 804 Trail and then come home to snuggle in front of the cozy gas fireplace. Curl up with a book from the bookshelf, or enjoy a puzzle or game provided for your pleasure. If you’re a Duck or Beaver fan, you can even grab a game on the television.

We love dogs and gladly welcome yours, though we do ask that you pick up after them and keep them off the furniture and blankets. Dog towels are provided for you as well. We do have a 2 dog limit.

If you truly want the view, Ocean Bay Cottage is your spot. This great little cabin with southern exposure and a big deck is situated with perfect views of the ocean, and mouth of the Yachats River. Relax on the deck while enjoying the sunrise/sunset. Views change every six hours because you're sitting right at the tide line. At low tide you will see life unfold before you on the beach, including resident eagles, herons, and seals. At high tide the same view will provide breaking waves as well as the migration of hump back whales during the spring and fall months.

Our "Blowhole Bungalow" is aptly named for the migrating spouting whales that can be seen from the beautiful, open great room picture windows. And also for the naturally occurring blowhole formed in the rocky coastline just a few blocks from the house.

Just a few blocks in the other direction is a sandy beach for playing, kite flying, tide pool exploring, etc. All within easy walking distance.

This historic 1922 bungalow in the heart of Yachats village was restored from the foundation up, started in 2010 and completed in 2012. It's located at 362 W. 2nd Street and as the name says, everything is just a “stone’s throw” away. You’re just two doors down from Yachats’ State Park where you can whale watch, play frisbee, or wander down to the rocky marine preserve where tide pools and agates abound. Watch flocks of pelicans wheel by, as otters and seals peek from the surf. When the tide is low, you can walk all the way down to where the 804 trail meets the ocean at the Adobe, and from there it is just another short walk along the 804 to the sandy beach – seven miles of it.

Or, head into town, just two blocks away, where you’ll find restaurants like Heidi’s Homemade Italian and the Drift Inn or head down to the Wine Place for some fine wine tasting. Enjoy some of the many events held at the Yachats commons, or wander through the farmer’s market in front of the commons on a Sunday morning. If you have kids with you, you’ll find a playground just behind the commons with the best tree house on the coast. Just a block and a half from your doorway, you’ll find the Little Log Church, now a historical museum, or wander over to Toad Hall or Rain Dogs for some gift shopping. And for breakfast and the best locally roasted coffee, we recommend The Green Salmon, just two blocks from your doorstep.

If you want to stay inside, you’ll find retro charm and modern comfort. A wood-fired stove warms the living room, next to a sofa and two easy chairs and a bookcase full of everything from mysteries to classics. There’s even a piano for the musically inclined. One bedroom features a queen bed, the second, a king, four-poster bed, mood lighting and a faux fireplace for warmth and atmosphere. There's also a fold-out double in the den, so the house sleeps a total of six. The dining area seats 6 to 8, or head into the kitchen and enjoy the great view from the retro bar. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining, including a microwave. And beyond that, the den opens up on an incredible view through four large picture windows. Enjoy the sight of Cape Perpetua as the sun sinks toward the sea. Relax in the cozy sofa or armchair and watch TV or one of the many DVD’s on hand. There are plenty of board games and puzzles in the den as well. The bathroom is also fully remodeled with a roomy, tiled shower and bath tub (and a great shower head!).

This little gem of a house is a unique property. The historic Yachats village neighborhood comprises just a few square blocks, and this is one of the few remaining original bungalows restored to its former glory. Unlike many properties, no driving is required once you park your car! - "The Heron House served as the perfect homelike base for our holiday get together with two generations of friends and family. This was my second stay in this charming we’ll appointed cabin on the Yachats River and it won’t be my last. I have only one suggestion to improve convenience and perhaps safety. Most of the electrical sockets in the original part of the cabin are worn and in need of replacements. It was often tricky to charge phones etc and we found it necessary to prop charger receptacle in place to keep them plugged in."

We had a little hiccup with the AC unit as it was very hot outside and the property manager was right on it. We won't hesitate to return and we really enjoyed ourselves. I have 14yr old and 10yr old boys and a 2-yr old dog. Our dog is thoroughly depressed that we are no longer at the beach house...and we are too! Thank you for the great stay hope to return soon."

Charming river front home is perfect for a small family or couple. It is a short walk to the beach. Guests have access to the Quiet Water pool (open seasonally) and tennis court. There is a canoe/kayak launch just down a path that people love to walk on as they explore the large Quiet Water property. We have an inflatable kayak and pump for guest use. More can be discovered about Quiet Water at https://www.qwha.org/ Our cozy sunroom is fantastic for watching the birds and beautiful riverbank in all weather. The upstairs lofted bedroom has a king-size bed and there is a queen-sized bed built into an alcove wall downstairs. Upstairs off the master bedroom is a small sleeping room with a twin size bed. There are two bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The house has a full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Our guests have a private, covered parking space and access to one additional public space. We have two small smart TVs and full wireless internet provided. We have a 2-day minimum stay. No pets or smoking.

- "I spent a month at Marilyn’s house to enjoy a change of scenery while working remotely. The internet connection is great for remote work. Aside from a very brief provider outage, I had no issues during my stay. If you work in the sunroom, you get to watch the wildlife along the river—I had a few rabbits hop right up to the window, and watched plenty of herons soar by. The home itself is incredibly warm and cozy. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is fully furnished with everything needed for an extended stay. I ordered grocery delivery right to the house, and had all the cookware I needed for meal preparation. Marilyn is a kind, thoughtful, communicative host. She’s been in the area many years and had great recommendations for nearby activities! I loved walking into town for the Sunday morning farmer’s market, as well as evening walks along the beach or into town for dinner. Please note: While you will be mesmerized by the powerful waves crashing right in front of the house, there is no direct beach access. The Historic 804 Trail (identified by the curbing along Oceanview Dr near our driveway) is 1.7 miles long and runs north and south. Fantasea is on the south end of the trail. There are numerous beach areas to explore along the trail. To get to sandy beach follow the trail north where it ends at 7 miles of sandy beach. There is also a State Park less than a block to the south along the trail.

Earthworks Art House is a newly remodeled two bedroom guest house connected with Earthworks Gallery. It is located adjacent to the gallery in a private forested setting. It borders Gerderman rhododendron preserve and is located on an extensive trail system that leads to the ocean, the forest or the center of Yachts a short distance away. We feature an extensive collection of revolving original art from the gallery. This totally new house offers plush and cozy accommodation.

Bob creek beach access across the street. Great location just 5 miles south of Yachats at mile marker 170.
Double bed ,queen, and a twintop bunk . Air mattress available if needed for additional guests. Sleeps 6 with couch, up to 7 with air mattress. Just added a 1/2 bath. Shower on main floor. Loft glass wall view to main level living room below but has privacy drapes. Outdoor amenities available to guests. Kitchen and refrigerator for your use. Main level is occupied by host.

Loft access is from a dedicated separate exterior entrance in the back. Access to the shared spaces (full kitchen and full bath) is from interior stairs, or exterior main entrance.

These spaces are pet free, NO pets or service animals allowed. State law allows the decline of any guests who needs a service animal due to my health and allergies.

During your stay
Host is available via cell phone or in-person for any help needed during your stay. Otherwise, I will stay out of your way.

Nigh Tides - Meredith Lodging

A Yachats single story Ocean View home will quickly become a family favorite! If your looking for adventure the home is near the beautiful 804 Trail which is guaranteed to bring home peace of mind, views of whales (in season), and many shells from Smelt Sands State Park. There will be lots of opportunity for great phots, don't forget your camera!

Home has wonderful views of ocean from Living room, where one can just sit & relax, read, as it is separate from the Family Room, where the TV is located. The large back deck is sunny and private, and also has some little sitting areas in the garden. Home is also equipped for family fun with a Ping Pong Table, 9 Foot Basket Ball Hoop, and a great yard. Home also had a "Old School" video Game console with 60 games and a stereo that can connect to iPhone/iPad, and a large collection of DVD's and Books.

Nigh Tides is centrally located and a short walk to the downtown area of Yachats. The Library is down at the end of the street on 7th, the Farmers Markets is down on on 4th, as is the Bakery. So many great shops to see, and visit. The grocery market is right on main street, and tons of marvelous restaurants too!! The beach is accessible by crossing the bridge over the Yachats River, and turning immediately onto Yachats Ocean Rd, where you can spend hours watching the tides change, while on the sandy beach. Walking trails are everywhere, and everyone must go to Cape Perpetua, and the Sea Lion Caves!  

Waldport is just up the road by 8 miles, home of Dungeness Crab, and you can rent boats or crab off the docks, and have it cooked down at the port!!  Homeowners have a new Ping Pong table set up in garage for great 'inside entertainment'! Start some family tournaments!! So much to do while here, and this home is so comfortable to come 'home to', it will become a favorite on your list!!

All cleaning policies meet or exceed CDC standards and recommendations. Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive.

Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.

It is truly a 'Hansel and Gretel' cottage, with wonderful cozy throws to snuggle up under, on the cushy couch, with propane stove for ambiance. Fabulous covered front deck has Adirondack chairs, great for relaxing with a glass of your favorite beverage, enjoying the Yachats days, peaks of the ocean, or to unwind. Stroll into town to view some of the many shops, or dine in Yachats many wonderful restaurants. The Cottage has everything you'll need, just bring your clothes and food! It is sure to become a favorite getaway, for a singles retreat, couples romantic vacation, or small families. Pet friendly! (limited to 1 small pet only, up to 30 pounds maximum). The space
This studio space in one of three spaces within a large house. It has a private entrance and its own bathroom.

The room has a tropical forest theme and eclectic decor that gives you a sense that you have entered a different world. It includes a queen-sized bed, hardwood floors, a large bathroom with incredible tile work in the shower, and a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The room itself does not have a fantastic view, but it is very conveniently located in the center of town.

Please Note: There is some noise from the restaurant's kitchen fan and nightly live music in the restaurant that may be heard in this room. Both stop each night when the restaurant closes.

We are not your typical Airbnb accommodations. We are similar to an Inn but much more unique with a small community atmosphere and wonderful staff on site.

Pets are not allowed in this studio.

Urbanski House

The Urbanski House is a great Ocean View pet friendly home, just across the street from crashing waves and tidal pools, just across the street, (access them at low tide from the state park area just a few blocks south). Also when the winds are blowing from East/No East, watch the mesmerizing Ghost Waves in the Bay. And watching the Whales go right by, is always a thrill, especially when they are bringing their calves back down!! It's close enough to walk to the Village of Yachats or the many shops and restaurants! This house has a wall of windows to take in the fabulous view, from all of the main living room, dining and kitchen area. From the upstairs loft, there is a King bed and 1 twin bed; plus a wonderful claw foot bathtub and vanity, so you can sit in the tub and soak all your cares away as you watch the ocean! Downstairs has a separate bedroom with a new Full-size bed, plus 1 twin bed, and bathroom (with large shower stall).  For those who enjoy walking, you can pick up the Historic 804 trail near the home, which leads to Smelt Sands Park, tide pools, and wonderful geologic sites. Leave the car, since you can easily walk to the Green Salmon, Drift Inn, Luna Sea, Yachats Mercantile, and so many more restaurants and shops!!  Don't forget Fido! The Urbanski House is a comfortable, recently upgraded with all new furnishing throughout, oceanview, family friendly; pet-friendly home, and has been a family favorite for many years!

Big Cedar Cabin is a cozy A-frame located on Oregon’s central coast in Yachats. The cabin is a short walk to Oregon’s incredible coastline. A unique retreat in a wooded setting, the cabin features tongue & groove construction and a wall of windows to view the natural forest, deer, elk, chipmunks and whatever else may wander by. Perfect for nature lovers, this cozy cabin offers a peaceful escape and is available for monthly stays.

The space
The A-frame was built in 1970 and we purchased and restored it, 50 years later in 2020. The cabin has a wood burning stove and a Weber BBQ for outdoor grilling. Enjoy the calming sound of the ocean from the front deck or balcony.

The neighborhood is a five minute drive from Yachats Village and has a rural vibe. The cabin has a lengthy driveway with plenty of parking.

This is a wonderful bright cozy studio with a glimpse of the ocean from the picture windows in the front living space.

This is in one of three studio spaces within a large house, and its entrance is located at the top of a flight of stairs. This unit includes a small bedroom with a queen bed, two nightstands, and a dresser. (Please do watch your head in the bedroom - it has a slanted ceiling.)

In the main living space, there are two twin daybeds.

Please Note: There is nightly live music in the restaurant until closing that may be heard in this room.

Welcome to the Beachcomber Cottages! Come stay with us for an unforgettable time with the best views around! Beach-front bonfires, cozy but comfortable units, wildlife viewing, stairs to the beach, good surfing, rooms for the dogs and kids to run and much much more!

The space
Unit # 1 is a duplex-style cottage, so it may be possible to hear guests in the unit attached. We ask all our guests to keep this in mind when booking and to be respectful when staying.

This quaint unit is a studio with one queen bed, a table, *a small kitchen*, and *a small bathroom* with a shower. The unit is well-kept & equipped, however it is simple and wind-swept. Please keep in mind that if you are looking for a luxurious getaway, this may not be the right choice for your stay.

This unit is located right next door to a nice RV Park. The park is visible from the sliding glass door/deck. While this does not seem to be a problem for most guests, we understand that it might be for others. Please be aware of this before booking.

There is a ladder to access the beach *see photos* that we ask guests to use at their own risk and discretion. The ladder is not perfect, but is a permanent solution, as the levels of the sand/tides change depending on the time of day or season. Unfortunately, a longer ladder or steps are not feasible as they have been ripped away by the tide in the past.

Other:
- Cell Reception: Please be aware that cellphone reception can be very weak to nonexistent on the coast. Please plan accordingly. We do have wifi across the entire property, so calls and texts over wifi (i.e., FaceTime, and other apps that rely on wifi) are possible.

SHARED PROPERTY: There are a total of 6 cottages on our property. Each cottage is attached to one other cottage. For this reason, it is likely that other guests will be on the property at the same time you are. As this is a shared space, we ask that all guests be respectful and considerate towards one another, especially as it relates to noise.

LONG TERM GUESTS/LAUNDRY: As the listing states, there are NO laundry facilities on the property for guest use. There is no washer or dryer. These are not included in the amenities provided. If you book a long-term stay with us, please be aware of this and plan accordingly.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED: Please be aware that we take this rule very seriously. Smoking is absolutely NOT allowed inside or near the units. You will be charged a fee if you are seen smoking or there are signs of smoking in your unit. Our housekeepers do lookout for this and report back to us. Please be considerate of our cleaning staff and future guests.
