- "My husband and I had such an amazing time staying at this little cabin. The cabin is nicely secluded and quiet with only the roar of the ocean waves heard out the windows. The cabin is nestled amongst the plants and bushes on top of a small cliff. There host is available nearby and the cabin allows so much privacy, it's perfect. I'm usually the "hotel/rental is a just a place to sleep" and don't spend much time in the lodging since I'm out exploring. This place was different...I wanted to stick around and relax here as much as I could! The stars are great too when nights are clear (very little light pollution). Our favorite part was the front deck. We spent every morning drinking coffee watching the birds and the waves and every evening watching the sunset. There is a path that leads down to the beach. It seems there used to be stairs that allows you to get down but those have been washed out at the very bottom. There is rope though that still works well enough. We still got down by hanging onto the rope with a little rock scramble. The cabin had a few cobwebs in the corners in case that's a huge deal. I needed to kill a spider or two near the bed for my sleeping sanity :)"

Big Cedar Cabin is a cozy A-frame located on Oregon’s central coast in Yachats. The cabin is a short walk to Oregon’s incredible coastline. A unique retreat in a wooded setting, the cabin features tongue & groove construction and a wall of windows to view the natural forest, deer, elk, chipmunks and whatever else may wander by. Perfect for nature lovers, this cozy cabin offers a peaceful escape and is available for monthly stays.

The space
The A-frame was built in 1970 and we purchased and restored it, 50 years later in 2020. The cabin has a wood burning stove and a Weber BBQ for outdoor grilling. Enjoy the calming sound of the ocean from the front deck or balcony.

Bob Creek Studio is located 5 miles south of Yachats, on the Siuslaw National Forest. Explore Bob Creek and possibly spot its elusive river otter family, or stroll across the street to the beach to explore tide pools and catch the sunset. The area is abundant in scenic hiking trails and must-see spots such as Thor’s Well (2.6 mi), Cape Perpetua (2.9 mi), and the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse (8.5 mi). At the Bob Creek Studio, you’ll discover why visitors find Yachats to be a magical place.

The space
The Bob Creek Studio is perfect for a romantic getaway, located just across the road from the crashing waves of Bob Creek Beach, a beach famous for its world class agate hunting, tide pools, secret caves, and spectacular sunsets.

Nestled in the forest beside Bob Creek, this self-contained open concept studio has a bedroom and kitchenette with all the essentials, plus a stylish, well designed and well equipped bathroom featuring a 2 person soaking tub and a dual head shower. For families, the studio also has an open loft with 2 twin beds.

Guest access
You will be able to access the entire studio and deck and have one designated parking space.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE THESE KEY DETAILS: This studio cabin shares the property and a common driveway with the main house, which is also a SeaNik rental. The studio is completely detached and has its own entrance. The two rentals also have separate parking areas; only 1 vehicle is permitted for the studio. The Main Cabin also has an Airbnb listing and can be rented separately.

There is no cell service at The Bob Creek Studio so WIFI must be used to make calls.

Due to our rural location, internet service is provided via DSL with the following performance expectations:

Typical Download Speed: 20 Mbps
Typical Upload Speed: 1 Mbps
Typical Latency: 15 ms

With these speeds, you can expect to be able to stream a show or make a WIFI phone call or text. However, internet performance will be significantly degraded by upload activities such as auto syncing photos and video from your mobile phone to iCloud or Google Photos. Typically mobile phones are set to auto sync, so please be aware of this usage. We recommend disabling these auto sync functions if you experience bandwidth issues."


Lastly, we do not have a full kitchen, rather it is a kitchenette. There is no stove/oven but we do have a microwave and single burner induction hot plate. Please use only the cookware provided for the hot plate.

The Cabin is delightfully appointed with comfortable living room seating and cozy beds. Guests will enjoy the Zen of Bob Creek including hotel style robes, heated bidet toilets and an outdoor hot tub!

The space
This architect-designed cabin is nestled beside Bob Creek, in a forest of Spruce, Fir and Shore Pines providing serenity and a delightful blend of comfort and aesthetic detail. Enjoy cooking in the cabin's full kitchen and dine al fresco on the outdoor deck, or cozy up to the Morso wood burning stove. This stylish cabin has all of the comforts of home with WIFI, Smart TV's, board games, a shuffleboard and a hot tub.

Guests will have full access to the entire Bob Creek Cabin.
