Located at the north end of town, the sands and Pacific lie just two blocks away, and the attractions of downtown Seaside are accessible by a pleasant walk along the Promenade or down the beach. Kids and adults alike will have a pleasurable time at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, where you can feed fish to seals, see vibrant marine life, and learn a little about the coastal ecosystem. On Broadway, you'll also find a full-block arcade, amusement rides, mini golf, and the carousel mall with some fun shops inside - find your inner child at the toy store and try on eccentric hats at the specialty store for a good laugh.

Through the gate, you'll enter a peaceful garden landscape, lush with greenery and with a hammock to relax in the shade. A large deck has patio furniture, a bench, table, and a gas grill for barbecuing, as well as all new string lighting for those nights when you want to hang out just a while longer.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We were in town for our basketball tournament and like to travel with our two dogs. The house and decide made it cozy and comfortable and it was great to have a fenced in area for the dogs. Head to the beach and relax in my rustic pine cabin decorated in a lodgy style bear and moose theme. Great location just 2 short miles south of Seaside and 4 miles north of Cannon Beach on a 4 acre wooded property with a large koi pond and creek. The cabin is located just a 1/2 mile off of Hwy 101 with no through traffic. You are literally 5 minutes to the beach in either direction. This was the house I grew up in as a child. It has been remodeled by yours truly. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, there are 2 kings and 2 queens plus 2 roll up foam pads for the kids. The property is dog friendly. The kitchen has a large, open layout with rustic hickory cabinets, pebble tile back splash, matching dinnerware and new appliances and is well stocked with everything you would need as far as pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, storage bowls, crock pots, coffee pot, toaster, electric mixer, griddle, blender, food processor, a large microwave and a beverage cooler. The dining table has 2 leaves that allow for seating of 10 people. The living room has a 55 inch smart TV with all the cable channels and over 100 D.V.D. movies. There is another TV in the master bedroom if you want to use that one for gaming or DVD's. There is high speed wireless internet and great cell service anywhere on the property. There is 1 large bathroom with a shower/ tub combo. There are plenty of towels, soap and toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are also supplied. For your convenience there is a new large capacity washer and dryer onsite and lots of extra parking on the property. Plenty of room for a boat, horse trailer or an RV if you are traveling through. The deck is 1200 square feet and overlooks the pond and the creek. It has lights that hang all the way around the deck that come on at dusk. For your outdoor entertainment there is a fire pit with 10 adirondack chairs, large propane barbecue and cooler to take to the beach as well as a picnic table. There is a corn hole bean bag game for the deck. Throw some fresh seafood or steaks on the BBQ and enjoy a a glass of wine while watching the sun set over Tillamook Head. There is dry firewood at no extra charge. Bring the kid's bikes, they will have room to ride it and you can also bring the dogs. The deck has 2 gates that can be closed off to keep small children and pets inside and away from the pond. Close enough to the beach but away from the downtown noise and tourist traffic. Cullaby Lake, Coffenbury Lake, Young's River Falls, The Big O Saloon, Relief Pitcher Sports Bar, Short Sands Beach ,t he Peter Iredale shipwreck, Astor Column are just a few things you may want to check out. Captain Kid amusement park is just up the road and downtown Seaside has a tilt a whirl ride, bumper cars and a large arcade with Fultanos pizza inside. There are chartered deep sea fishing and crabbing excursions or you can go clam digging when the season is open. For all you shoppers there is a factory outlet mall and lots of tourist shops on Broadway in Seaside and Cannon Beach. Costco, Fred Meyer and Walmart are only 15 miles away and there is a Safeway in Seaside. Some of the special events are Wheels of Waves Muscle car show, Memorial weekend, Mother's day weekend, Father's day weekend, graduation weekend, Miss Oregon pageant week, 4th of July week with fireworks at the beach, dance competition week, Soccer on the beach, Corgi day on the beach, Sandcastle contest in Cannon Beach, bike ( motorcycle week), Buoy 10 fishing season, Professional Volleyball weekend, Hood to Coast weekend, Labor Day weekend, roadster car show or just a family getaway to make memories at the Seaside beach. The space
This contemporary Pacific Northwest cabin is an ideal retreat for an artist, writer, or musician, a romantic getaway or family vacation. Nestled in the Nehalem River Valley, surrounded by mountains and blue sky, we're 1.25 hours north west of Portland, roughly 30 minute drive to the beautiful Oregon Coast, and just 15 minutes to Saddle Mountain.

The 1200 sq ft cabin is new construction and situated on 6 acres overlooking the river and lush forest. The setting is serene, a quiet refuge from everything, free from distractions. The open layout and large windows blur the boundary between inside and outside, providing stunning views of the valley.

Our land is meant to be enjoyed year round. In the spring and summer, the river is the focal point. Take advantage of swimming, floating, rock and fossil hunting, bird watching and epic fly fishing. In the fall and winter, snuggle up to the wood stove after a day hike or chanterelle foraging, if you're a fisherman the winter steelhead run through.

Clatsop County has incredible sightseeing and hiking. We are 5-20 minutes from dozens of scenic and breathtaking hiking trails, including Saddle Mountain. Lost Lake provides family-friendly hiking and is stocked thick with trout and steelhead. There is small boat access for non-motorized boats.

At night, watch the Milky Way appear and count the constellations above or the moon reflect on the river below. And if the wind is right, listen for the sounds of coyotes, owls, and frogs in the distance.

Guest access
Thank you for your interest in our cabin. We require a two-night booking on Fri, Sat. When Monday is a holiday, we prefer a three-night booking for the holiday weekends. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check out is at 12:00 pm.

It is recommended that guests arrive before sundown in order to find the house. The house is in a semi-remote location.

If you need a bite to eat, gas, supplies or just need to send a couple last text messages. Stop at Bakers, located 1.5 miles East of Lower Nehalem Rd. turnoff (10 minutes from cabin). It’s a great and convenient general store and it’s the last spot to get good cell/internet service.

Other things to note
Intentionally, there is no television and no wifi so you can truly experience being in a place of natural beauty. Also note, cell service is limited based on your provider. The cabin is equipped with a landline for phone calls and emergencies.

Our cabin has a semi-open loft and a wood stove. Please consider this if you have young children. Contact us with any questions.

There is ample supply of firewood for the wood stove, fire pit, and cooking hearth. There is also a gas BBQ to be used at your convenience.

Baker's General Store and The Elderberry Restaurant are 10 minutes away for easy access to food, supplies or gas.

Quiet central location in downtown Seaside. Very close to beach, arcade and aquarium. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.
