Welcome to Greenwater and the Crystal Mountain Chalet. Located about 20 miles into the forest east of Enumclaw, the Greenwater area is in the middle of Norse Peak, Clearwater, Mount Rainier, William O Douglas, Tatoosh and the Glacier View Wilderness areas.

The Crystal Mountain Chalet is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet style cabin. Tall firs frame the cabin and vaulted ceiling windows fill it with light. Nestled within Crystal River Ranch in Greenwater, the Crystal Mountain Chalet is set up with a large and open living area, bar style seating in the kitchen, as well as ample sleeping for 9.

The CRR community is located about 18 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Perfect location for weekend ski/snowboarding getaways in the winter, or easy access to hiking/horsebacking riding/mountain biking and gondola rides in the summer. Also located about 30 miles from Sunrise, a popular destination in Mount Rainier National Park.

CRR is located on an elk refuge so it is common to see a local herd of elk wander the community... along the roads, in yards, or perhaps most frequently on the lawn of the community center. There are only a handful of stores in the Greenwater area, including one dining/tavern option that is located about 3 miles from the cabin. Enumclaw is a scenic 20 miles away where you can find large grocery stores and several restaurants and shops.

This area is surrounded by the beauty of all things nature has to offer! The CozyCabin is nestled on two acres of tall timber with lots of privacy for you relax at and enjoy. Kids can run and play through the forest surrounding the cabin, while others enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire-pit. Gather round the fire pit for s'mores an evening full of laughter & tall tales!

The local Greenwater area is full of fun activities depending on the season. Ski/snowboard at Crystal Mountain. Snowshoe Crystal Mountain or just wander the local hiking/walking trails (contact property manage for tips on where to snowshoe). Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross County Skiing, Snowmobiling, Hiking, nature walks, birdwatching, mountain biking & mountain climbing are just a few things you can do during your stay. In the summer you can head up to Sunrise visitor center to hike many trails in the Mt. Rainier National Park. There are also many, many beautiful hikes up on Chinook Pass including Tipsoo Lake a favorite among visitors!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation special. Complete with a waffle maker, pancake electric griddle, crockpot, rice cooker, Keurig K-cup/Coffee maker combo & french press.. to name a few. Oh.. let's not forget the knives are sharp!

There is one bathroom with tub and shower. There is plenty of shampoo & conditioner. Linens are provided (extra in every room). You will find a hair dryer and hair straightener in the bathroom cabinet and an extra one in the master bedroom dresser. Each room has a nice sized mirror to make it more convenient for folks getting ready in the morning.

There are two bedrooms downstairs both equipped with a log bed; one King and one Queen. (Extra blankets/pillows in ottoman) There is a Pack n'Play for toddlers in the master closet - bring your own toddler sheets.

Upstairs in the loft there are two beds one Queen and one Full-size. There is also a full size sofa in the loft (great for little kids to sleep on) with a nice area to play games or read a book.

Outside there is a large deck with a Propane BBQ, dining set and large fire-pit. There are plenty of outdoor chairs for the fire-pit. (during the summer months check local fire regulations prior to using the fire-pit)

The 960sf chalet style cabin is just past the town of Greenwater (last stop for gas, general store, and cafe) en route to Crystal Mountain. You are walking distance to the Crystal River Ranch clubhouse which has a playground, games, and my kids’ favorite: air hockey.

Crystal River Ranch is a great place for young bikers to explore with minimal traffic and flat roads. There is access to the rivers via the picnic site (no fishing, stony; dangerous, but beautiful).
The cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen bed on main floor and a large open rafter loft with a king and two twin beds. The beds are comfortable. The skylights let in some light and are openable.
The propane stove does a nice job and sets the mood. The laundry room is by the front door, a good place to stash ski gear and pop it right in the dryer. Six people is the maximum, with one small bathroom, four or five people is comfortable.
WAshington Trails Association is my go-to resource for hikes, providing all the info and recent trip reports.
You can beat the traffic and be at the mountain in 20 minutes. Careful for ice on the road early in the morning. Internet is there to help you get the latest weather info and stay in touch with friends, as cell service is spotty. The internet is NOT high speed, it is not available.

Elk are often in the yard. Respect these massive creatures by keeping your distance.

It was nice to come back to the cabin and take a hot shower or bath and make a meal. There is a nice deck out back to look out into the trees. I went over to the ranch to say hello to the horses. The Lindgren Haus is a cozy cabin with big windows, comfy chairs, and there's one bedroom with a queen sized bed. Make your way up the stairs and you'll find the loft which holds a king sized bed and a futon couch.

If you'd rather not leave this cozy spot, there's plenty of amenities to entertain you: the reclining chairs in the living room are perfect for a good book, the full kitchen is ready for whatever woodsy confections you want to cook up, and the card table is ready for whatever game you fancy.

Don't expect to rely on electronics here. Because you're so buried within the woods, remember to bring your favorite board games and DVDs. The television works great for viewing your favorite movies and shows, though it only hooks to the DVD player. Stay warm by the fireplace while you have movie or game night!

A lovely A-frame home with Modern updates on 4 acres of forest close to a river and a 15 minute drive to the entrance of Rainier National Park.

Come enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city at this well-equipped, lovingly refinished A-frame in the woods. The home is easily accessed off SR-410, making for the perfect launch pad for the infinite recreation opportunities in and around Mt. Rainier. Tons of hiking, bicycling and in the winter skiing to be had!

The Main Floor includes a soaring Living/Dining space with a cozy L-shaped lounging couch and large dining table that seats 6. The front wall of home is a wall of windows looking onto the surrounding forest. Enjoy looking at the peaceful greenery of the forest from every room! Adjacent to the Living/Dining room is the Kitchen with plenty of dishes, cookware, and basic amenities. At the rear of Main Level are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the 2nd with bunkbeds. The full bath is between the two bedrooms, and was recently updated with a new vanity and glass shower door.

Upstairs is the open sleeping Loft - this space is open to Living/Dining below but the high ceilings give this room privacy. The loft sleeping room has a king size bed and a 1/2 bath with small sink and toilet behind privacy wall. You feel like you are sleeping in a treehouse in this room! Access to the Loft via a steep open stair, not suitable for small children.

The exterior offers 800 square feet of decks for sun-bathing or resting in the shade, plenty of parking, a nice grassy yard with children's swingset. There is an outdoor dining table with four chairs and a rocking bench on the main deck level at front of house. Additional lounge Adirondack chairs are located on the patio at ground level.

Yard is fenced with gate at driveway to help keep elk out of yard. There are several small water features- mini ponds to enhance yard - look for goldfish and frogs!

Big screen TV was great addition specially since we stayed during the Superbowl weekend so I was able to watch Superbowl. The den is also very useful since I was able to work Monday morning. Our secluded cabin is located directly on the water with panoramic views of the Port of Tacoma, Vashon Island, Point Defiance, and the breathtaking Mount Rainier. This is the ideal spot for nature lovers or anyone who enjoys a nice view while enjoying a cozy day inside.

This cozy one-bed, one-bath cabin includes a full kitchen as well as a small dining and living area and it's hooked up to wifi. There is a TV with a connected Blu-Ray player for a nice night in, or a lovely outdoor space that features plenty of seating and a fire pit a mere few feet away from high tide.

The cabin is only a short walk from our designated guest parking area. Note that the grass is a little uneven and the main access is down a decent-sized hill with stairs, so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible or great for people who are unsteady on their feet. You have access to the cabin and the grass area outside. Beach access is a short walk away via the park up the street. Unfortunately, the boat house is not accessible to guests, nor the stairs to the beach alongside it for safety concerns. While the upper property is not part of the listing, we understand you will need to pass through the yard to access the cabin or your car. We only ask that you do not loiter or hang out in the yard to be respectful of the property owners as well as the neighbors who share the open yard.

As mentioned above, nearby is a public park with beach access! Downtown Gig Harbor is also only 10 minutes away and it offers a variety of dining, shopping, and activities for people wanting to get out and explore the town!

My dad and I live on the property above should a problem arise. While we are close by, this is a very private space and we respect your privacy and hope you enjoy the tranquility and beauty of our cabin.

We have a dog that runs around the property. She is a very friendly Australian Shepard who will probably stop to say hi! If you have issues with dogs please be aware of this.

River Walk cabin is a perfect year-round destination. Located just outside of Greenwater, WA, Crystal Mountain Ski Area and Mt. Rainier National Park are just a short drive down the road. The cabin has an open floor plan with a full kitchen, living, and dining areas on the main level. A loft area has two double beds, and the separate master bedroom features two additional double beds and a 3/4 bath. Organize gear and play a game of Foosball in the garage, then have a relaxing soak in the hot tub

The loft area featuring two double beds is open to the Livingroom below and is accessed with the same staircase as the master bedroom. The separate master bedroom has two double beds, a private balcony, and a 3/4 bath. Custom wood blinds and skylight shades throughout help keep the space nice and dark for a good nights sleep.

In addition to the master bedroom and spacious loft area, there are plenty of sleeping options for the kids at this family friendly cabin including a pack-n-play, an inflatable toddler bed, and a single air bed. There is enough space to set these up in either the bedroom or the loft area. A queen sized pull out sofa bed is located in the main living room. Linens are available for any of these options upon request. We have the maximum guest limit set to 6, but are willing to discuss options for larger groups prior to booking.

The kitchen has everything you will need to make a hearty meal after a day in the mountains. Dishes, utensils, cookware, spices, panini press, Keurig coffee maker, fresh press, and even a popcorn popper for those impromptu movie nights!

A full bath downstairs with full sized washer and dryer is a great place to hang up wet gear. Keep an eye out for the fun glove dryers!

The living room features a 55” flatscreen tv ready for streaming using the wireless internet. The built in sound system in the living and kitchen area fills the house with music through your USB or Bluetooth connected mobile device.

The large garage area includes a second full-size refrigerator, foosball table, games, and chairs. It is a great place to pack/repack gear, store skis, or to have a place for the kids to hang out.

Walk down to the White River and enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley and feel the sand between your toes. This is only advised in the summer of course ;-)

Finish your day of adventure with a soak in the outdoor hot tub with stars (or snow flakes) overhead and the sound of the river in the background.

Guest Access:
You will have the whole cabin to yourselves. The only non-guest areas are the storage room off the garage and two closets in the house designated for cleaning supplies.

Guests can access the cabin through the front door smart lock or main level garage door with a key pad.

Access to the master bedroom is from the same set of stairs with the door to the master bedroom located between the two loft beds. Please let us know if you have any questions about the layout prior to booking. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

* Air Conditioning Note: Similar to most cabins in the area, the River Walk Cabin does not have full central air conditioning. We have recently installed an AC unit on the main floor to help on the hot summer nights. The cabin also has many large screened windows as well as three sets of double doors with full roll out screens to bring that cool breeze in off the river if you prefer to keep things opened up like we do.

* Security Camera Note: We have one actively recording camera overlooking the front driveway which records video and audio. There is also one camera on the back porch overlooking the side yard (NOT the back patio or hot tube areas). All devices are on the exterior of the property.

Please help us keep our neighbors happy and the house in good shape by abiding by all house and community rules. While this neighborhood does have several vacation homes, there are also close neighbors that live here full time. Please help us be good new neighbors by being considerate and remembering that not everyone here is on vacation ;-)

There are strict rules for no outdoor fires, parties/events/large gatherings, loud noise.

We do not allow more than 6 guests at the cabin (including both day visitors and overnight guests) due to the size of the cabin, the amount of available driveway parking, and the size of the septic system. There are also some key instructions for keeping the hot tub water clean. All of the info you will need is detailed in the welcome manual.

Lastly, while we love both pets (and shoes), we unfortunately do not allow either at at the River Walk Cabin ;-)

The home has a clawfoot tub with shower on the upper level and a walk in shower on the lower. A large porch and outdoor fireplace make for it cozy even in the rain. Outdoors you’ll find the hot tub, gas BBQ, dock and kayaks. Inside you'll find a comfy queen Bed, sofa bed, cable TV, Wifi and comfortable furniture. Enjoy the outdoor lights and beautiful decor. This is the resort of your dreams. In the Cabana you'll a gas fireplace, electric heat, a coffee supply, microwave, convection air fryer, dishwasher, hot plate, and a comfortable queen bed. We'll provide a pack and play and high chair if you request. The shower room is connected to the bathroom. It has no ceiling, but its very cool. It’s totally enclosed and private and you’ll love it.

The Cabana is on the waterfront of beautiful Lake Tapps. It's at waters edge inside a private gated residence. Access the property easily from SeaTac international airport. Drive through the entry gate past the first residence and park infront of the second residence. Well send you a picture of your parking place after you book. You’ll find a private path to the Cabana just past the carport. Go through the gate and follow the path down the incline to the private waterfront area.
Other things to note
Outside you’ll find the waterfront, the kayaks, the fire bowl and the dock. The hot tub is just out your door. Enjoy a late night tub. There is an outdoor fireplace, outdoor BBQ and kitchen complete with fridge, sink and ice maker. The fire bowl wis perfect for smores or just conversation. Lake Tapps is a reservoir and is regulated by a PUD. From November to March they draw the water down 3 feet. This means during this season you will walk out a few feet to get to the water, should you desire to kayak. We have life jackets on the south side of the Cabana. Use these for Kayaking or floating around. During warmer months it’s perfect here for sunbathing, swimming and boating. Ask about renting our wakeboard boat if you desire to play or cruise. Driving to Mt. Rainier? We are just about 1 hour from the Crystal mountain ski resort turn off and just 75 minutes from the Sunrise entrance to the National Park. Enumclaw, the Super Mall or the Casino's are all just a few minutes away. 3rd or 4th person has an extra charge of $30 per person per night...

The space
Upstairs are 3.5 bedrooms. One master with en-suite full bath, one full twin bunk, one with two twins, and a nook with a twin and trundle as well as a small lounge. Downstairs is another master with en-suite .5 bath. Great TV room with reclining couch, living room, 3/4 bath, huge dining table and updated kitchen. We are located on the White River. If you have small children please do not let them out unattended. Children need supervision near and around the river as it is not a river to swim or float in.

Other things to note
If you are renting July-September, please respect the forest and burn bans as outdoor fires are prohibited. Please be sure to place garbage in the smaller brown trash bin next to the garage. Recycling (all but glass) in the large blue trash next to trash can. Be sure lid is secure and closed. All glass goes at the end of the kitchen counter in a recycle bin. We will recycle this. Please strip beds that were slept in and place downstairs in front of the laundry room door (Apres Ski sign above). Lock door with code when you leave. Thank you!

The space
The Tree Swing is a pet friendly lake side cabin with a fully fenced yard. Please note, we have a pet fee to ensure we can keep the place squeaky clean after each stay. There are two bedrooms, one with a very comfortable queen bed and the other with two bunk beds (twin over full and twin over twin). Both rooms have Smart TVs installed. For overflow guests, we do have a pull out queen couch in the living. Please inquire with Laura if you are interested in adding additional guests.

Enjoy the full bath and a fully outfitted kitchen, including a waffle maker and a complimentary coffee and tea station (we provide a Keurig, lots of coffee pods, yummy tea, and sugar).

Indulge in a cozy living room with a 55' screen Smart TV, to catch up on your favorite show and beautiful views for days. Starlink affords blazing fast internet when you need it (remote work anyone, this is perfect for you?!).

Our huge covered porch provides extra outdoor seating protected from the weather that can accommodate the whole party, not least a lovely outdoor live edge bar with four stools to take in the lovely lake views. Check out what Tiara said, "... the main thing I want to mention, is the back porch. It was seriously perfect! The swings, the view of the lake, having coffee on the porch every morning was the highlight of my stay." Soak off the city life in the four person hot tub just a step off the porch.

There is an awesome cedar tree with two swings for both kids or grown ups to play on. Star gazing around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows is a wonderful way to spend the evening.

Embark in an afternoon paddle on the canoe or the two available standup paddle boards from the Tree Swing's private dock. Grab a dinner or drink at the Lakeshore Riviera Restaurant just a short paddle away. We also have two mountain bikes stored in the car port in case you want to bike ride to dinner or to the beach.

The Tree Swing welcomes well behaved pets, we have two pet beds located in the closet of the bunk bed room and doggy bags located on the front porch. We do have a one time pet fee.

When you need to really get away from it all, the Lakeside Tree Swing is just a ferry ride away!

Laura went to great lengths to give clear directions, & offered resources to find local amenities/events. The lake was so beautiful, and calm. My dogs felt right at home (I loved how pet friendly Laura & the property was), they LOVED running around the huge fenced yard; we were very happy that the yard was poop free as sometimes pet friendly locations are not. There was a nice selection of tea (I love tea). My husband & I are avid fishers, so being able to cast off the dock/from the canoes on the lake, was nice. The hot tub was hot/ready for us when we got there. But the main thing I want to mention, is the back porch. It was seriously perfect! My husband and I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A twenty-minute ferry ride and we were on Anderson Island. Check in was so easy and Laura was a delight. There was a map of the island that we used to find a wonderful hiking trail. We spent most of our visit on the back porch enjoying the peace and quiet only island life can bring. Watching an eagle fish in the lake, a family of deer visited while we read even a little rabbit came scurrying by. I can't wait to book a longer stay.
