Our secluded cabin is located directly on the water with panoramic views of the Port of Tacoma, Vashon Island, Point Defiance, and the breathtaking Mount Rainier. This is the ideal spot for nature lovers or anyone who enjoys a nice view while enjoying a cozy day inside.

This cozy one-bed, one-bath cabin includes a full kitchen as well as a small dining and living area and it's hooked up to wifi. There is a TV with a connected Blu-Ray player for a nice night in, or a lovely outdoor space that features plenty of seating and a fire pit a mere few feet away from high tide.

The cabin is only a short walk from our designated guest parking area. Note that the grass is a little uneven and the main access is down a decent-sized hill with stairs, so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible or great for people who are unsteady on their feet. You have access to the cabin and the grass area outside. Beach access is a short walk away via the park up the street. Unfortunately, the boat house is not accessible to guests, nor the stairs to the beach alongside it for safety concerns. While the upper property is not part of the listing, we understand you will need to pass through the yard to access the cabin or your car. We only ask that you do not loiter or hang out in the yard to be respectful of the property owners as well as the neighbors who share the open yard.

As mentioned above, nearby is a public park with beach access! Downtown Gig Harbor is also only 10 minutes away and it offers a variety of dining, shopping, and activities for people wanting to get out and explore the town!

My dad and I live on the property above should a problem arise. While we are close by, this is a very private space and we respect your privacy and hope you enjoy the tranquility and beauty of our cabin.

We have a dog that runs around the property. She is a very friendly Australian Shepard who will probably stop to say hi! If you have issues with dogs please be aware of this.

There is a small desk and chair, with more comfortable chairs in the room that you are welcome to move around and use at the desk as well, and high-speed internet as well as ethernet access for any work you may need to do during your stay.

This home is set in beautiful, serene surroundings, perfect for one to four guests. Built in 1928, remodeled in 2009 at the water’s edge. This home was completely remodeled and features a beautiful kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. Two bedrooms and two baths.

The water and mountain views are unbelievable, and breathtaking.

Sunrise Beach is just 3 miles from the heart of Gig Harbor, restaurants, and waterfront shops.

The space
There are two bedrooms with queen beds upstairs there’s a full-size bath upstairs in a full-size bath downstairs with a large well-equipped kitchen and living room facing the water there’s a piano room up to the side we’re just sitting and relaxing the deck has a fire pit with four comfortable chairs and two Lounge chairs for just sitting and admiring the view

Guest access
The entire house is available to guests. There is a shed at the back that is locked and unavailable to guests and underneath the house other equipment down there is personal and it’s not available to guests, it is private property. Except for the hot tub which is available for guests to use.

Other things to note
At low tide there are miles of walking beaches each direction - North and South - to collect shells and other treasures. At high tide, you will experience the water splashes against the bulkhead.
Sunrise Beach County Park is located just north of Gig Harbor at the south end of Colvos Passage and is subjected to extraordinarily strong currents from the Tacoma Narrows. Sunrise is one of the best shore dives in Puget Sound. Dive boats drop divers most weekends at the reef north end of the beach.
Puget Sound has clear 49-degree saltwater teaming with wildlife.
