The space
Easy access to hwy 16. 1 mile to Albertsons, Costco, YMCA 2 miles to St Anthonys HOSP. HANGAR Clinic(4 miles). Parking is right next to the unit. It is a covered entry and patio with table chairs. Kitchenette has a SINK microwave, mini fridge, hot plate burner, pots and pans dishes, keurig coffee maker with coffee pods and tea. BBQ Open concept with bed (pillow top/topper QUEEN bed). 2 small steps into private small bathroom shower sink. Walk in closet with plenty of drawers to store your clothes. Walking distance (1 1/2) mile to bus stop and shops, and eats. Walking trails close by. Our studio is
un attached to the main house, and in the back of the property. Private, Small, cozy, quiet, and safe. Better than a hotel. Not far to the waterfront, where you'll find shops, boating, restaurants, and much more.
Guest access
Your studio will be all ready, and waiting for you ...parking is right next to the unit, just a few steps. You may use the upper deck for table and chairs and walk down the little trails. you will have your own BBQ, laundry room, with one wash per stay. You may use the laundry detergent there. or bring your own. You may drive up either driveway, which is circular, so you dont need to back down. Speed limit on our private road is 10 MPH.

The space
Casita Pequeña is located in a quite neighborhood of Cromwell in the picturesque town of Gig Harbor! We are only 5.2 miles from downtown (11 minute drive). We have great Puget Sound views in a tranquil setting!! We invite you to enjoy our SMALL (approx. 165 sq. Ft. 11’x15’) well designed, well appointed studio.
Casita Pequeña is a VERY small, but comfortable STUDIO with open multi-use living space, kitchenette, full bathroom and beautiful deck. Small space that feels much bigger than it is. Perfect for 1 adult, comfortable for two if you don’t mind tight quarters.
We are conveniently located in the middle of Olympic National Park and Mt. Rainier (approximately 2 hours to either destination). Seattle is approximately 50 minutes from Gig Harbor and can be reached by car or for a more amazing trip, by ferry from Bremerton or Bainbridge Island. Concert folks… Tacoma Dome is an easy 20 minute drive. Hanger Clinic is a 9 minute drive.

Not designed for making big meals or long-term stays, but does come with: Microwave, Mini-Convection Oven, Double Burner Induction hot plate cook-top, Keurig Coffee Maker (Note: coffee & tea pods are under Keurig maker base in drawer it sits on), BBQ, Small Refrigerator, and cooking ware. Need anything else, please let us know.
Queen Bed:
Super comfy queen Murphy/Wall bed with cozy bedding. Please note: This has a REAL (quality) bed and not a sofa bed.
(Lowering and Raising bed takes less than 3-minutes and is very easy). Choice of: Luxury down or soft down alternative pillows.
Bathroom:
Tiny, but modern with quality Moen black fixtures. Shower has high mount hand shower to accommodate all sizes. Comfort height toilet and European mini-sink. Full length mirror and smaller mirror with cabinet.
Corner closet with 3-drawer dresser and space to hang clothes.
Quality bedding, towels and wash cloths. Comfy throw for lounging on cooler days and nights.
Raised counter for remote work space, meals or meal prep.
Deck with BBQ, and round metal table to enjoy the outside. Great place to enjoy meals or a beverage.

TV:
Enjoy a wide range of TV programming through Xfinity/Comcast. Relax, kick back and watch some movies. (Guest is responsible for any charges related to Pay Per View Movies or Programming that are not included in my cable plan). Plenty of free movies to enjoy on Xfinity and Netflix.
Space does have X-Sense 2-in-1 Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Alarm (battery operated).
Guest access
Feel free to enjoy our yard. Take a nice morning or evening walk down to the water. For the more adventurous there is a perfect 2.62-mile walk/jog loop (see picture map in photos) from the Casa down to the water, back up and around the neighborhood to Casa Pequeña. Note: We are not on the water and do not have private access. Casita Pequeña sits on a hill above the water and is approximately 4-6 properties back. You can walk along the 1/2 mile of public road, water front; however, the shoreline along the road is private with no access. Gig Harbor is only 5 miles and there are many restaurants & shopping within minutes. There are multiple Parks & Recreation beach access points throughout Gig Harbor, and all are within driving distance.
Other things to note
We are dog lovers with 2-Shih Tzu's on site; however, our tiny house/casita is much too small to allow pets of any size. We are very sorry, but pets of any kind and any size are not allowed. Infants are always welcome as long as you accept our property "as is" and assume all risk. We do not have cribs, play yards or any other infant/toddler items etc. Sorry, it's been awhile:-)

Find relaxation at this peaceful place in the woods. Head outside and take a short hike down to our local creek. Enjoy walking amongst the cedars and spotting wildlife. Pick an apple in the fall or raspberries in the summer. All just outside your door.
Take a stroll along the Gig Harbor waterfront, look at the beautiful boats, rent a kayak for a few hours, or just sit on the grass on a Tuesday (Skansie Park) or Wednesday (Sehmel Park) night and listen to music (summer months only).

Welcome to this Cottage French style home. Upstairs is a roomy 2-room suite, with a bedroom, en-suite bath and a study with desk, TV and a comfortable place to relax. The space
This charming cottage is on a secluded cul de-sac road, yet conveniently located.
A private beautifully furnished 2 room suite and bath awaits you on the 2nd floor. The bedroom has a Queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom. Attached is a study for lounging, with a wall mount TV, a desk for business and an extra table for games or eating. The doors for the guest quarters have locks for security and privacy.

Your Privacy is respected and I will never intrude if someone just wants their space with quiet time. Since I have lived in the area for over 15 years, I am able to offer you personalized recommendations for eateries and entertainment in Gig Harbor and the surrounding areas to make your stay more enjoyable.

She is a Papillon (French for butterfly) her name is Leilani. Leilani is de-barked, so there is no loud barking noise to disturb anyone. She is sweet and friendly. Because of her no other pets over 12 lbs. are accepted on the premises.
Please come stay in our detached guesthouse with private entry and parking. Beautiful Rose gardens, Giant Koi fish pond and waterfall, patio with seating for 6 for your use. In early spring thru late spring there are over 2000 tulips and daffodils in bloom! Walking path with specimen shade gardens and seating for sunset evenings for two above the unit +BBQ for outdoor cooking. Our guests have called it a "peaceful sanctuary" . .one queen bed air conditioning!

Beautiful koi pond and rose gardens surround your guest house. Large patio area for your use, plus full size kitchen that is FULLY stocked, right down to the cumin, and balsamic vinegar. A comfy queen bed, washer dryer, air conditioning, outdoor BBQ, free WiFi . We are about 3 minutes from Highway 16 and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Please note that the Narrow Bridge is a toll bridge. We are approximately 7 minutes from Downtown Gig Harbor, and 5 minutes from Uptown shopping, IMAX theatre, and fabulous restaurants at all price levels. If you prefer to cook, we have a full size kitchen FULLY stocked.
Our gardens have been on many garden tours, it’s a serene and peaceful place with horses next door!

Located on the historic waterfront district of beautiful Gig Harbor, this home is walking distance from many wonderful restaurants and shops.
