This little cabin is for those who know how to rough it. Dog friendly. Bring your own Sleeping bags and pillows. There is a sawdust toilet farm tent just outside the door. Also 100 feet away guests have access to house for a bathroom and showers. For those wanting farm visit, just passing through or base camp for day trips, exploring/hiking base camp. This is it. It's cozy. You can fix breakfast, come and go stay and milk a goat or pet a cow or horse. Barbecue and Fire pit and picnic table.

The cabin is about 250 sq.ft. main area has two bunk beds, one bottom bunk is double bed and a cushion available for floor.
There is coffee pot, hot plate, microwave, Fridge, sink, hot and cold water, dishes, pots and pans, table and chairs. There is a sawdust farm toilet out house just outside the cabin. Shower is at the big house 100 feet away. We have 6 friendly dogs that may bark to greet you. (Dog friendly except for pitbulls. we have had trouble with them tearing up goats. Sorry )

Cabin is separate from our house . Shower bathroom is only 100 ft from cabin. It's in our house. Open 24 hours a day. Cabin has a handy sawdust farm toilet outhouse tent 3 feet outside of cabin.

Other things to note
If you are afraid of dogs and other animals this may not be the right place for you. We are Dog friendly. However Pitbulls have been a problem. There are leash oly areas in farm animal areas. The off Leash areas are 7 to 17 acres of run free areas by pond and streams. We have 6 friendly dogs of our own that bark to greet you.

Enjoy your stay in Olympia at our minimalist artist's studio. This newly remodeled guesthouse is centrally located in Olympia's Westside neighborhood. Within walking distance to local grocery stores, restaurants, and parks, this is the perfect location. Olympia's beautiful waterfront downtown area is just 1.5 miles from our front door. Olympia is centrally located for day trips to Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, or the Pacific Ocean.

The space
This rental is located in a guesthouse adjacent to the property owner’s house. It is a studio bedroom with a full bathroom. While there is no kitchen, we have provided coffee and tea supplies and wine glasses. There are extra linens for your use as well. The unit shares one wall with an artist’s studio, which is used sparingly between 8 am and 8 pm. There is no access to the property’s back yard or deck area. Parking is available in front of the house as shown in the listing photos.

Due to the size of the water tank, there is enough hot water for about 5-8 minute showers. Waiting about 5-10 minutes in between showers allows the water tank to heat up again.

We love to travel too! We purposely rent our guesthouse at an affordable price, make it available to people traveling with pets, and do not include fees for cleaning, extra guests, or pets. The Icart Room is one of many guests favorite rooms, with a California king sized bed and two sitting chairs in the room in front of an electric fireplace that can augment heat or used without heat just for a nice atmosphere. High speed Wifi. This lovely studio cottage is 200 square feet with a fully stocked kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom with tiled shower, and a new queen sized bed. Plus dining area appropriate for remote work. Located near the water, with beach access. From the dining table there are lovely views of Puget Sound. New adjacent patio and Comfortable chairs.

Complimentary wifi and cable TV, and laundry facilities in adjacent building. Parking for cars steps from the house. RV parking available at the top of the driveway upon request.

A few times each year, we experience power outages, due to our remote location. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Power Outage Procedures in your House Information Book. There are plenty of light, blankets and a generator to keep you going.

In winter the building is heated through a radiant heat floor. In summer, the concrete stays cool, and the temperature is managed by closing windows and barn door during the day and opening the windows at night to allow cool air in. The nights always cool down. There is parking for up to two regular vehicles. If you have more, please ask about overflow parking.

We upgraded our WiFi to a mesh system works great. The apt is approximately 750 sq ft sep bedroom, living room and mini kitchen above the garage with private entrance. There is a mud room to remove your shoes and coats before going up stairs.Enjoy the view of Eld Inlet in a peaceful, woodsy area. We recently put a Keurig coffee maker.

Located in the woods atop a low bluff overlooking Eld Inlet, 10 minutes from downtown Olympia.

Visitors can Enjoy direct access to the beach and try their skills on stand up paddle board, enjoy canoeing and beach combing. (weather permitting)

The space
Sunrise Beach Cottage is a wonderful custom built cottage surrounded by giant Douglas fir trees. Enjoy the amazing interior architecture. Guest sit on the deck and enjoy the view overlooking the waters of Eld Inlet, the gem of the Southern Puget Sound.

The Living room has a new queen size hide-a-bed couch, that comfortably sleeps 2 people (for a total of 4 guests).

We have basic cable TV , Xfinity high-speed internet and a flat screen TV your enjoyment.

The Bedroom has a Deluxe Queen Size Bed, two night stands, dresser.

The Kitchen comes with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove top range and oven. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed, such as pots and pans, Keurig coffee machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, some spices. You will have everything you need to entertain up to four people.

The Bathroom will come with basic essentials. You will receive four towels for your stay. The tub has a handheld nozzle for rinsing your hair.

For your convenience there is a stacked washer, dryer in the cottage.

Strict "NO SMOKING POLICY" inside or on the decks/patios at Sunrise Beach Cottage. This policy includes the use of any tobacco or Marijuana products. e.g. Cigarettes, E-Cigarettes, Pipes, Cigars, Smokeless tobacco/Marijuana or Vape-Pens. There is designated smoking area outside the front door by the BBQ. Approximately 30 feet from the front door.

Guest access
Full access to the entire cottage, BBQ area above the Cottage. Full access to the beach via a trail and stairs. Full use of beach chairs, canoe and Stand Up Paddle boards weather permitting. Use of the beach is encouraged.

How to access the beach. Please follow the sign leading to the path on the right side of the Main House. The path leads down the side of the house to a stepped path that leads to the beach. People with mobility problems will have difficulties using the path to access the beach. Please see photos.

It is Tenant's responsibility to immediately notify Owners of the Sunrise Beach Cottage of any issues that they incur during their stay so that they may be promptly addressed. Owners of Sunrise Beach Cottage shall not be held liable, or otherwise take any responsibility, for any injuries that may occur to Tenant, and/or Tenant's invitee, that is caused or permitted to be caused by the intentional, unintentional, negligent, or careless acts of said Tenants, and/or invitees to the Sunrise Beach Cottage, the property and/or the possessions on the property including all structures and equipment. By the written or electronic endorsement of this Agreement, Tenant agrees to forever hold harmless and indemnify Owners of Sunrise Beach Cottage from any liability and/or responsibility arising therefrom.

No animals/pets allowed. Located in town, 4 mins drive to Downtown Olympia this is a very popular home-base to explore the Pacific Northwest, or if you are in town for work. Super close to the Capital Building, State Offices, downtown and all amenities. Remodeled in 2019, there's a full kitchen with lots of breakfast & snack options provided. The sprawling bathroom has heated floors, a 5 ft shower & a Samsung full size washer-dryer.

The space
This is a thoughtfully planned en-suite with beautiful natural woodsy surroundings. It’s equipped with a comfortable queen size bed, a couch-bed in the living area, a spacious bathroom with heated floors, a huge shower with grab-bars, washer dryer along with detergents (scented and fragrance free) and a fully stocked kitchen. No animals or pets please! Smoking allowed outdoors only! Super close to downtown, amenities, hospital and freeway (exit 105 and 107). Private entrance with 24/7 access with your unique security code. Please make sure the booking accounts for all guests. Parking available for 2 cars but NO RV's/Trailers. There are two paved biking/running trails super close to us as well.

FOR ALL RESERVATIONS:

- Occasional visitors are okay. The space is NOT ideal for infants or young children.

- Not recommended to sleep with windows open. The unit is very well insulated, so it will be super quiet indoors. White noise machine provided for added comfort.

- During heavy snowfall all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended as the property is on a slight slope. It's quite rare that we get that much snow in Olympia.

- No shenanigans/partying in or around the property. We will not hesitate to call the cops. Hosts reserve to right to enter the property if the sense something is off.

The space
Studio apartment with queen size bed. Small kitchen with a refrigerator, hot plate, skillet and microwave. There are basic cooking supplies along with dishes, silverware, glasses and wine glasses. We can accommodate a third child/teen/adult with a blow up air mattress to put in next to the queen bed, it would configure into a nice sized walk in closet near the bed. Just let us know if that will be needed at the time of your stay and we will provide it! If there is anything lacking in the kitchen or extra blankets or bedding is needed, don’t hesitate to ask! We are generally on the property, but can be out of town on occasion, so anything you may need before your arrival, let us know so we have it available for you on the occasion we are out of town. Please take note, durning the rare occasion of sunny, hot weather, we do have family and friends on the property, and it can get very busy, so if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful airbnb during those rare days, this may not be the place for you. We do live here full time and this is our primary residence. So the common spaces outside are shared.

Rest peacefully in this unique, authentic PNW get away. Only 10 minutes from town, escape without going too far! Nestled in the woods of North Olympia, near many waterfront parks and activities.
The cabin is estimated to have been built originally in the late 1800’s by loggers clearing this area.The cabin is newly renovated to include a huge walk in rain shower with 2 heads. Upstairs full height loft bedroom with gorgeous custom canoe light overhead. Full kitchen, toiletries, and fast Wifi.

The space
The cabin sits on my 2 acre property. I live in the Aframe house on the opposite side of the property. We keep to ourselves. There is also an RV spot for Travel nurses adjacent to the cabin. They keep to themselves. You have ample privacy and rustic appeal inside and outside the cabin.
The property is constantly being improved between guests, and seasonally. I’m seeking to create a rustic and quaint homestead atmosphere for myself and my guests.

The whole cabin is there for your use. The lawn surrounding the cabin and the porch is also just for you.

Other things to note
The spiral staircase going up to the bedroom loft is a big improvement from the ladder that was there before, but might not work for those with limited mobility.
I wouldn’t recommend this as a stay with small children due to the stairs. It’s quite difficult to baby/toddler proof that and I want everyone to be safe. We remodeled it as romantic getaway, so certain aspects won’t be practical for larger groups.

Country bungalow on a secure 5 acre estate with a huge couch guests RAVE about! Only minutes from I-5, restaurants, shopping, JBLM, the Capital, downtown Olympia and St. Martin’s University. This bungalow is tucked away in a beautifully tranquil setting and has no shared walls. There’s lots of secure parking right in front of the bungalow. If you are pulling a trailer/RV we have the space! If you are looking for a little piece of tranquility but still close to everything, this is the place!

The space
Welcome to the Bougie Bungalow!

Enjoy the serene quietness of our fabulous guest house on 5 park like acres! The Chehalis Trail (a paved walking/running/biking trail runs right behind our property. The gate code is 9816. If you walk towards the back of the property, behind the Air BnB, the gate is on the far left of the fence. There is a small orange flag to the left of the gate. If you need help finding it let us know! If you take a right out of the gate there is a lake with benches about 1.5 miles down.

Kitchen - Has a stove, microwave, Keurig, keuring pods, full size refrigerator, and utensils. Salt, pepper, sugar and sweet n low packets are in the kitchen. Dishes, cooking utensils, and glasses are in the cabinets. A large garden window overlooks the peaceful and private backyard. Make sure to look for deer and bunnies!

Living Room - welcome to the biggest and most comfortable cozy couch you have ever sat on! It’s a whopping 16 feet long and so cozy! The ottoman is like a little island lol! Enjoy streaming your shows on the flat screen tv.

Bedroom - One Queen bed, One full bed, one roll away twin bed. A dresser and a work area with a desk complete this room. Let us know ahead of time if you will be needing the twin bed and we will have it set up for you.

Laundry room - washer and dryer. Extra towels are stored in the cabinet. Large window lets in tons of light and overlooks the park like backyard.

Bathroom - walk in shower and vanity. Lots of towels and washcloths.

Dining Room - large oak table, 4 chairs. We can provide more chairs - just let us know if you need them :)

Out the front door is a large covered front patio area with seating to enjoy your morning coffee and relax.

The building the Bungalow is in is shared by a smaller unit. The units do not share a wall. There is a garage space (that is private) between the two units.

Parking - there is free and secure and well lit parking in front of the bungalow. Two/three cars can park side by side. If you are towing a trailer or camper or in an RV we have the room for it!

The way to get to the gate to get to the Chehalis Trail is by an unpaved country trail. You’ll find tall grasses (unless you are here at cutting time) and rocks and uneven ground. Please be aware of this before venturing out. We are happy to show you the gate

The space
The cottage is 420 sq. ft. it is split level. On the first level are the bathroom, kitchen, and dining bar. The second level is where the bedroom and living room are. The sound is down the hill, you may walk there on the path next to the house. Only 2 miles from downtown Olympia yet you are surrounded by nature. The cottage is about 100 feet from the main house, it is very private. The deck overlooks the sound and has views of Mt. Rainer. The view is also seen from the table in the kitchen. It is a quiet and safe area.

The entire cottage is for your use only. It is very private nestled among trees. and an open view off the deck of Puget sound, Budd bay.

The cottage is in a more nature setting. The steps/pathway to the cottage are made of stone and gravel.

You have full access to the upstairs studio with your own private entrance and access code provided by the property manager 3-5 days prior to arrival. Guests will not have access to the garage or the main home located next door. You have your own private staircase leading up to the main door where guests can hang out on the small deck.

Other things to note
You are only 1 mile from Alderbrook Resort & Spa. This space is only, for 1-2 adults, no children (infants up to 10 months old are ok), and NO PETS (firm rule). You may see the owners from time to time accessing their car, as they live next door. You do have a dedicated uncovered parking space.

Immerse yourself in nature with a quiet get-away in this charming one bedroom 3/4 bath beachfront suite on the banks of gorgeous Hammersly Inlet. Embrace the peace & tranquility of the south Puget Sound while relaxing on the large deck. Make smores over a fire, play yard games, kayak, or swing by the creek while watching for seals, otters, birds, fish, deer, and in the spring & summer- Orca whales! Just steps away you'll find shared stairs with direct access to the 400 ft private beach.

The space
Hammersly Haven is a coastal themed retreat attached; but completely closed off and separated from the main home. It features over 400 feet of low bank beachfront property with a 250 sq ft deck with panoramic views of Hammersly Inlet. Nestled along the creeks edge of the property you'll also find a bridge and a swing to enjoy the picturesque views where the freshwater meets the sound.
Down a quiet one lane scenic road you'll arrive to covered parking with a separate entrance. The spacious main living area has a sofa that pulls out to a queen bed, a chaise lounge chair, full kitchen, small dining table, TV, ceiling fan, and a wall heat/AC unit to keep the suite the desired temperature at all times.
In the bedroom you'll find floor to ceiling windows with 180 degrees of waterfront views, a small flatscreen TV, propane fireplace, and a queen bed with heated mattress pad to keep you cozy on chilly nights. Bathrobes, thick towels, and an open rainfall shower await you in the spa inspired bathroom.
From the living room and bedroom slider you can access the large deck where you'll have your own private little oasis. The deck is the perfect spot to take in the sights and sounds of the Puget Sound and watch for wildlife while you sink into the cushioned chaise loungers with a cup of fresh ground coffee, or relax with a cool drink in a rocker under the sun umbrella.
Off the deck you can BBQ on the propane grill, sit by a fire while listening to the frogs and watching the stars, or play some cornhole, axe throwing, croquet, or badmitton out on the large lawn.
Hammersly Haven is located just 25 minutes from downtown Olympia and in the proximity to Hood Canal, the Olympic National Forest, and the Washington coast. About 15 minutes away you can visit Walter Dacon Winery, see a movie at the Skyline Drive-in, and go -kart or watch car racing at Ridge Motor Sports.
If you're feeling lucky; Little Creek Casino is also just minutes away where you can gamble, enjoy a delicious seafood meal, attend an event at the Skookum Creek event center, or indulge at the Seven Inlets spa.
Downtown Shelton is a cute and growing town just 10 minutes away; there you will find Safeway, a small movie theater, several restaurants and food trucks, many antique stores, coffee stands, a seasonal farmers market, parks, and more. The town hosts several festivals throughout the year- including Oysterfest in early October, Mason County Forest Festival in early June, The Bluegrass Festival in early July, and Holiday magic and light boat parade in early December.

Guests will have full access to the grass areas by the deck, fire pit, and the large area beside the driveway for playing any yard games. The beach is fully accessible for kayaking, fishing, wading, swimming, exploring, playing etc. Please note that harvesting shellfish from the beach is not allowed.
Creek side access is bridge to bridge. (includes the swing, bench and narrow walkway along the creek).
**For owners privacy- please avoid grass areas beyond the beach stairs and area from walkway past the bridge/long stairs on the creekside of property.
**Neighbors property- please avoid grass and beach areas beyond property line. (approx at the large tree in grass), docks, and property at top of long stairs by creek.

Other things to note
The bedroom is separate from main living space but connected by a small hallway with no door. The bed is behind a wall but this space might be best for couples, small families, or shared with other adults who don't mind sleeping on a sofa bed or having full closed off privacy of a bedroom door.
Bathroom has a rainfall shower that is meant to mimic a relaxing gentle rinse in the rain and not intended to be a high pressure or massaging shower system.
The property and road are surrounded by trees so the cell service can be spotty for certain providers such as T-Mobile. There should be no trouble with service once you log into the Wifi when you arrive.
Both TV's have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu with live TV, HBO Max, Disney Plus, and ESPN streaming.
The owners live on the property and have 3 friendly doodles. Dogs will use other areas of the property when guests are staying to avoid any unwanted barking or licking.
Landscapers visit 2-3x a month and will mow by deck and fire pit areas if they are here during your stay. (we will have them avoid blowing the deck to keep disturbance down as much as possible)
Sprinklers come on twice a day for 30 minutes each section to water the grass and flower beds in the morning and later in the evening in the late Spring-early Fall.

Private and quiet, the Kamilche Cabin sits on high bank Salish land overlooking the Puget Sound. The cabin is a 400 sq. ft. SDU that is situated on our property above our main house. It is recently converted, so nearly everything is brand new and ready for your enjoyment. We look forward to hosting your stay.

The space
Small, but functional. You have a large kitchen and living space that opens to your private deck overlooking the oyster beds of Totten Inlet. The queen bed is in its own private space and the living room has a new queen size sleeper couch for one or two cozy people. The cabin is fully stocked with everything needed for a quiet getaway.

Guest access
Guests have access to the cabin and a shared community dock. (Pending dock re-installation summer 2022) An escort is required by the community association when accessing the dock. The banks/hillsides around the cabin are not suitable for traversing.

As of May 2022, the path to the dock is temporarily blocked by a land slide. Stay tuned for an update!

Other things to note
On the bookshelf you will find a little knitting project that you are welcomed to add to. There are no stitch requirements, just have fun growing this project with me.

This one -of -a -kind sandy beach on Puget Sound's main channel , connects Olympia to the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy absolute tranquility as you savor passing vessels and frequent wildlife visitors (seals, dolphins and porpoise, fish, eagles, deer and so many birds ). To those not familiar with tides, you'll be fascinated as the tides come in and out throughout the day and night.

The space
The heritage cabin, built by my grandfather in 1944, has essential modern amenities (limited hot water , electricity, appliances, various heating sources, kitchenwares). It is ideally suited for an active family or couples who want privacy and tranquility in a gorgeous beachfront setting. This is not an appropriate venue for larger gatherings that will strain the cabin's infrastructure or the patience of my neighbors. Maximum number of guests, 4 adults, or 5 if including children. Please do not invite visitors to join you, unless by special permission.

This experience is best suited for active guests who want a notch up from glamping...but several notches down
from luxury. It is the unique connection with the marine environment...my favorite place on this earth.

Guest access
You will enjoy access to my 130 feet of prime waterfront, as well as free access to miles of privates beaches in either direction. I will loan you a double kayak and a single sit on top kayak...after you agree to a safety briefing and instruction as necessary. Help yourself to horseshoes and badminton. Go shoeless on this sandy beach.

Other things to note
While the stairs to the cabin are steep, once below you could easily shelter in place until departure day. I will help carry your luggage and groceries up and down those stairs.

The kitchen is well stocked, so no need to haul in disposable plates, cups and cutlery that clog our landfills.

wifi is not available in the cabin, but most roaming plans allow you to remain "connected" if necessary.

Ahab's looks out over the Puget Sound, it is a sleeping cabin available to guests who rent the Captains Cabin. It is a romantic, cozy sleeping cabin with pine floors, pine walls, reaching all way to the fifteen foot cathedral ceiling. Windows ten feet high face the garden and beach. The antique iron bed frame accommodates all cotton linens, quilts, down comforter, and pillows. The bed will keep you from wanting to leave it. A/C, heating, a full bathroom, features a large claw foot tub.

The space
This spacious cabin, has sixteen foot high cathedrahl ceilings, the walls are ten feet high, with wide plank pine floors, pine walls and ceilings. It is lit with antique lamps and chandeliers.

Guest access
The Captain's Cabin has access to the Sauna as well as the outdoor shower, so do you since you are their guests.

The Casita is a beautiful guest house with a spectacular view of Pickering Passage and its islands with a private beach in South Puget Sound! Explore the ranch with our alpacas, dig shellfish, pick fruit, sit at the fire pit and watch the waterfront channel. If you want go for a swim, take out a kayak or explore what sea creatures the beach will provide. Bamboo floors and nicely finished woodwork in the unit with a great view of the sound overlooking Harstine Island.

The space
We are situated on 12 acres of land separated on two parcels that are connected by one driveway. There are 5 units on the lower property and 1 on the upper. The driveway is signed with the unit directional arrows and the buildings are also signed with the units name on or near the door. The hot tub, outside bathroom is shared by the guests. It is a large property that has farm animals. The property has an estate gate with a code that you will receive in an email the day before you arrive.

Your key will be located in your unit’s door so you can arrive whenever you like. Please ensure that you are entering the correct unit that you booked. You will receive an email the day before your arrival with the gate code and possibly a door code if you book the Lodge. The properties consist of an upper property and lower property with connecting driveways abutting the sound. As you arrive it is well signed on the driveway with directional arrows pointing which way to drive to arrive at the different units. The buildings are also well signed with directional arrows to help locate your unit. Each unit has its name on it or closely located near the main entrance door to that unit. The upper property has one vacation rental on it. The lower property has 4-5 vacation rentals on it depending if the owners are on site or renting out the unit they stay in. If confused just walk around the different buildings until you see the name of the unit you booked on the door. It sounds more complicated than it actually is.

Parking/Navigating larger vehicles and trailers

When you arrive we request that you park on the right in the large parking area. We requests that you do not park on the paved area with the no parking sign by the garages. It is set up for charging electric vehicles and is used regularly. There is plenty of additional parking on the upper property or along the side of the driveway. If you have a large party of people and lots of vehicles during peak season it would be kind to park in a way and in areas that help everyone navigate coming and going. If you have a trailer or boat during a period as before mentioned please park it up top and walk down if parking is tight. You will have a hard time turning around longer vehicles 32 feet+ especially with other vehicles in the parking area depending on how they are parked. The upper parking area has looping driveway easy for getting turned around.

Facilities

There is a hot tub located behind the main house that is pretty private. We request that you just be courteous with noise after 10pm. This Feature is shared with the other guests on site. There is an external bathroom located by the hot tub with 2 showers, 2 sinks a changing area and toilet. On the back of the facility there is a sign that says bathroom and 2 signs on the front (Loo and the universal sign for bathroom).

Beach toys/ Gear

Also we have Kayaks free of charge located down near the beach with safety equipment and gear to operate them. We would ask that you bring them back up to were you got them from because when the tide is high it can take float off down the passage. The gear is used so have a good look before dragging it down to the beach to then discover it doesn’t have a seat! There is a water facet down by the fire place near the beach if you want to clean it up first. We also have rubber boots for guests in a large stand up tote on display in the breezeway near the blue loft. We have lots of different sizes and we ask that you just help us keep it in order when taking or putting away gear so it’s nice for the next guests.

The base price for the unit covers the first 2 guests. We charge an additional occupancy fee per head of $25.00 per person after the first two guests for units that can sleep more than two. We charge a cleaning fee of $40.00 for paying our cleaner (per stay). We charge a pet fee of $25.00 (per stay). We charge an Administrative fee of $30.00 to cover the lodging/sales taxes and for paying our Co-host (per stay).


Farm Animals

We have two greeter dogs one bigger and one small both very friendly. The pug is still learning his manners so feel free to let us know if she made a mess. The pug has also followed folks up the driveway before please do not take it to town with you. We are trying to train it to stay on the ranch. They are adorable but we ask to not let them in your unit or keep them overnight. Please feel welcome and knock on the door (call or text too) and ask if something is missing or needs tended too.
We have Alpacas. An alpaca is a domesticated species of South American camelid. It resembles a small llama in appearance. There are two breeds of alpaca; the Suri alpaca and the Huacaya alpaca. He likes Kisses and Alpacas have no top teeth therefore they can't bite you. They might let you touch them if they are in the mood too. They do not like their head or faces touched like a dog. Try to touch there long neck or chest area.

Beach life

Washington State is one of a couple of states that have private tidelands. Feel free to enjoy our beach and remember the rubber boots in the bin if you forgot yours or didn’t expect to go exploring. The property had a small oyster farm on it at one point in time and is interesting to go check it out. Please do not open the oyster bags. If you harvest oysters off the beach make sure to only collect on our site as it is a crime to take from other people’s private property. Please put the shells back on the beach or leave them outside your unit so that we can put them back to nature.

Mason County is the biggest producer of shellfish in the country and the people who live here and have beachfront property can get upset if you trespass on their land. Washington is different in this land ownership aspect than most of the country please help us keep in good standing with our neighbors. If you want to do a long beach walk we would recommend Harstine Island state park a short 8 minute drive and great views of Mt Rainer on a sunny day. Our grandest of accommodations, this large room features a romantic four poster king bed, sitting area with couch, table and chairs, work desk, and views of the Capitol dome. This room also has a large private bath with jetted tub and separate shower.

This house is a quaint coastal cottage located on the beautiful South Puget Sound. A quiet space with beach access. Watch ships and boats on the water and wildlife in the yard.

The space
Our place is close to several marinas that have live music in the summer and offer kayak and standup paddle board rentals. We also have several great waterfront parks close by where you can hike and beach comb.
Our cottage is a perfect location for enjoying nature or for enjoying downtown Olympia activities such as Harbor Days, Wooden Boat Days, and Olympia Farmers Market. We are happy to share with you any local activities that are coming up around your stay.
We are 60 miles from Seattle and 100 miles from Portland. So much to do and see. Great location if you are planning day trips. Boston Harbor Marina, Burfoot Park and Priest Point Park are close. Great locations for beach combing/hiking/picnicking. Olympia offers great restaurants, waterfront activities, Oly Farmers Market, Children's Museum.

Guest access
Our guests are welcome to use the area directly around the guest cottage. There is a patio in the front with umbrella table and chairs. Guests that are staying at the cottage are welcome to use the beach access as well. The beach is flat with bulkhead and lawn. There are chairs available for sitting to enjoy the water and wild life. Great area for a beach walk if the tide is out. There are concrete steps down to the beach. The walk up and down makes a great workout:)

*We do have neighbors close by so we ask our cottage guests to be sensitive of that in relation to noise.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful private place to stay within some steps from the beach. This guesthouse has a beautiful view. During your stay bring your boat and use the public boat ramp at Latimers boat launch within 9 minutes from here. Make lifetime memories by walking on the oysters’ beach and enjoy the landscape by kayak. We have 2 kayaks that you can use during your stay at no charge. Coming events:Christmas town for December.

The space
The guest house offers you a full bath, a long balcony, a queen bed, one sofa bed that accommodates well 4 people, if you have another person, we can add another bed , just let us know with time. . Also, you will find an equipped kitchen ready to cook your favorite dishes and a dining room. Have fun playing on the hockey table and enjoy your favorite drink at the bar. You will find a patio area to enjoy the beautiful nights near the water.

Our Bed and Breakfast is designed to be both comfortable, visually appealing, and practical for out of town travelers.

It has two kitchens on main floor to allow our guests the option of preparing a lunch or dinner meal or dining together or alone with some nice take out.

The grounds outside are pretty and comfotablle with lots of flowers during the growing season.

We are juyst one block off of main street to allow for easy access to casino or Lacey-Olympia by bus or taxi.
