- "Got there an hour early for check in and wanted to get a nap from the drive. Called Patrick and he let us go in early. Very nice layout, and everything was in order to just enjoy the room. I have zero complaints except that late in the evening, we did notice some ants in the bathroom, getting in from somwhere. I understand that that they can be a nuisance, but if checked and sprayed it can be controlled. Luckily we did not have any food loose that they could not get into. I would recommend this place if you want peace and quiet, and to be left alone. Patrick dropped off Breakfast around 8:30 am, and it was just enough to fill the belly before we left. Increase the check out time to 11am like hotels would be my only pet peeve."

You'll also find plenty of off-alley parking behind the property. Just two blocks from downtown Leavenworth, you're steps from shops, dining, and scenic river trails.

Guest Access:
Park in the back and walk around to the front entrance. Your suite is the first door on the left upstairs, marked with a #3. Feel free to relax on the front porch, and utilize the main floor amenities. A bike rack is available in the back for your convenience.

Maple Suite, also known as Suite #4, is a private second-floor micro-suite in our beautifully restored 1900s Craftsman home, located just across the alley from the main Snowcreek Suites. Not just a bed and breakfast, the home has been thoughtfully remodeled so each suite includes a private ensuite bathroom. We've enhanced the space with plush beds, elegant décor, a coffee and wine bar, mini fridge, smart TV, strong WiFi, and a cozy seating area. A shared microwave is available at the end of the hallway. You'll also find plenty of off-alley parking behind the property. Just two blocks from downtown Leavenworth, you're steps from shops, dining, and scenic river trails.

Guest Access:
Park in the back and walk around to the front entrance. Your suite is the last door at the end of the hallway upstairs, marked with a #4. Feel free to relax on the front porch and utilize the main level amenities. A bike rack is available in the back for your convenience.

The Neighborhood:
Maple Suite is steps from Mana, one of Leavenworth’s top fine dining spots. The area is perfect for morning walks, with a scenic river access trail nearby. Blewett Brewing offers great pizza and craft beer, while Icicle Brewery is surrounded by charming wine shops, coffee spots, and excellent restaurants. For Italian, try Visconti’s, or enjoy a nourishing meal at Yodelin. Be sure to book ahead for popular activities like the Reindeer Farm, river rafting, and the Alpine Coaster.

Getting Around:
Walking is the best way to explore downtown. For longer trips, Leavenworth Taxi Service is a great option. We're just a 4-minute drive or a 25-minute walk from Icicle Train Station. Biking from the station is also a fantastic way to arrive.

Other Things to Note:
We are not pet-friendly, and the property is not designed for small children. While each suite is private, this is a historic home, and some noise may carry. It’s ideal for individuals, couples, or friends. If your group rents the entire property, the main kitchen and dining area become available—check out our separate group rental listing.

Just a quick note: After you book, we’ll need to verify your ID, get your agreement to our terms of service, and place a temporary credit card hold for incidentals—like hotels do. Spacious, fully furnished & equipped, family friendly Above the Barn is the place to call home for a couple of days while enjoying being close to everything Leavenworth as to offer. Located on a quiet side street off of Icicle road. 1.5 miles from the village of Leavenworth, close to hiking trails, Sleeping Lady resort, the Wenatchee & Icicle rivers. The unit has many large picture windows that overlook the valley, surrounding hills & mountains.

The space
As you enter the unit, you will find everything that you need to relax and settle in for a couple of nights. The kitchenette is set up to prepare your basic meals & enjoy morning coffee.(there is NOT a full kitchen) The bedroom is large with a Queen size bed and has a connecting full bathroom. Nice large grassy outdoor area to be outside on a sunny day or enjoy being inside during the winter and watching the snow fall out the large picture windows.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cozy and clean unit and there is outdoor and yard space to enjoy being outside.
The guesthouse is set up for 2 adult guests and room for your little one should you travel with an infant or toddler.
There is a packnplay crib for your little one.

The apartment has a mini kitchen equipped with the following items: Full size refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle.

Edelweiss Suite has private entrance, separate bedroom with Queen Bed, large combined kitchen/living area with two futon couches that make into double size bed. Private bath, cable TV, WIFI. Kitchen has microwave, coffee pot, sink, & refrigerator. Great for families or large groups who don't mind sharing on bathroom. Contactless self check in and check out.
