Located in a private, quiet, wooded neighborhood, with a peek of the ocean, sounds from the surf, and a 5-minute walk to the beach. The Zen Den is NOT a short-term/vacation rental, nor will it accommodate motorcycles.

Guest access
The door will be unlocked with a key inside the studio.
Other things to note
The loft futon is a twin. Please note the loft is not for individuals with self-identified mobility challenges or individuals who self-identify as large or obese. Accessing the loft requires climbing a ladder without handrails, as noted in the photo.
No pets, smoking, vaping, or weapons of any kind, including permitted and/or concealed, allowed on the property or in the studio. The Zen Den is rented to non-smokers ONLY.
Kitchenette: hotel sink and refrigerator. Toaster oven w/ broiler, electric teapot, electric burner, french press, coffee maker, and grinder.

Outdoor surf shower. Available space to store surf gear, luggage, and a bicycle.

The Tall Woods Garden Cabin is a rustic and historic lodging nestled in the forest in the Tolovana area of Cannon Beach, Oregon. The cabin is part of the Tall Woods Garden, a three-acre nursery and event center. It is part of a twelve acre mature Sitka Spruce and Hemlock forest approximately one half mile from the seven mile long beach. The cabin is adjacent to thousands of acres of forest, including the 1,000 acre Cannon Beach Forest Reserve and near the 3,500 acre Rainforest Reserve.
The space
The cabin is an eight minute walk from the beach through a beautiful forest. The cabin sits in the middle of a 12 acre mature forest and landscaped garden that has been here for thirty years. Visitors are welcome to explore the garden although we use the property for occasional events and for personal dinners.
Guest access
We are generally on the property when guests arrive so access is not a problem. If we are not around for some reason the cabin will be unlocked.
This is an extremely safe area.
Other things to note
We have a queen bed and a trundle bed typically used by a couple with one or two kids, or friends that don’t sleep together. The cabin has three electric heaters, two in the cabin area and one in the bathroom. There is a great wood stove with lots of firewood.
There is a good grocery within walking distance, as well as two restaurants and a bakery.
