★ Other things to note
→ Security Camera: We have one security camera above the front door, monitoring our stairs, driveway and road in front of our cabin. Our interior and hot tub are NOT in view. Having a camera is imperative for ensuring the protection of our cabin, our property, and our guests' personal property while they stay with us.
→ Highway: It is nearby so you can hear it. At night it does tend to be quieter. But on the bright side, the proximity to the highway also enables easy access to your next adventure.
→ Hot Tub: We realize that our hot tub is a key selling point for a lot of people, so we work hard to make sure it’s in prime working order for your stay. However, there may be times when weather or guest misuse makes it so we have to drain and refill which then takes extra time to reheat for the next guest. These should be exceptions and not the norm, but we like to manage expectations to avoid disappointment. We recently had the electrical for the hot tub redone and brought up to code. In case of emergency there is a breaker switch nearby.
→ Children: We love children. We have four of our own. While we welcome children, please note that our A-Frame is not necessarily child-proofed. The stairs are not protected, the fireplace is out in the open, the loft has large railing gaps, furniture and electronics are not mounted to walls, and outlets do not have covers. By requesting to book, you are agreeing to full responsibility and liability for all children present during your stay and agree that they will be monitored by a responsible adult at all times.
→ Weather & Cancellations: We cannot predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance (AirBNB provides this while checking out).
→ No Smoking: Please refrain from smoking inside our A-Frame! Any smoking evidence will incur a fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning.
→ No Parties or Events: We kindly ask you to treat our A-Frame respectfully so that future guests may enjoy an experience consistent with when you first walked in. Timberlane Village is a small community that doesn't hesitate to report back to us on anything out of the ordinary.
→ 4 Guests Max: Please respect our maximum occupancy of 4, as our septic system cannot handle more than that. If we determine that you’ve had more than 4 people stay, extra fees will be applied.
→ Pets: We support those who have assistance animals. As far as pets go, only well-trained dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
- "Such an amazing place. Needed a fun yet relaxing getaway from the city and work life. Would come here again! It was simple to find, keep us warm and cozy throughout our stay. Also, such an adorable and well maintained home. Thank you for giving us such an amazing experience and we left our cute note in the guest book. I hope you have 3 or more guest books to write in, cause people should be thanking you for providing us with a cute, cozy place to relax and unwind. Kindest regards, Daryn "

- "Besides a little struggle at checking with the keypad, everything else was amazing. My family loved the place, very clean and comfortable . There is a short easy walk to the beach where we spotted eagles and hangout by the river " - "We chose this place based on proximity to Stevens Pass. It's an easy 17 - 20 minute drive to the ski area and the best part is when we were on the return drive back to the house we knew we had a nice outdoor hot tub waiting for us. The house is nicely updated (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, carpeting, furniture, appliances, windows - everything) which makes it so much better than staying at a place that hasn't been updated since the 1970's. The kitchen had nice pots & pans for preparing our meals - you'll want to prepare your dinners in the house since there is only one restaurant in Skynomish - Whistling Post Saloon with it's limited menu (great beers!). There is plenty of dining if you're willing to drive to Sultan or Monroe (30 minutes) or the other way to Leavenworth (45 minutes). We highly recommend staying at this home and we'll be staying here again when we plan future family ski trips to Stevens Pass."

- "Nice and quiet, easy access to Leavenworth and the zip lines. Loved the hot tub and the hammock." - "Perfect little sanctuary for some rest and relaxation." - "Restful honeymoon in a well maintained older cabin. Rained our entire stay, but the property made the stay inside still lovely. The fireplace and hot tub were the trip highlights! The nearby towns of Skykomish and Gold Bar have limited, but very nice dining options. Skip the convenience store in Skykomish though... recommend bringing in any food you want to have for your stay in with you. Very limited grocery options in the area, with a small, expensive option in Gold Bar being the closest option. Would definitely recommend to others, and stay again if the opportunity arises!"

- "A large group of us stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect. Directions and instructions were clear and easy, great hikes in the area (we explored Iron Goat which was beautiful!). It's a lovely large cabin with plenty of room and everything you can think of at hand." - "Not only is the cabin beautiful and beyond homey and comfortable it is located near so many amazing things to enjoy and do. To say the owners are amazing also would be an understatement. Their knowledge of the area, the help throughout the way and their quick and fully explained responses to my messages was beyond what I expected. The only thing that we have to say is make sure you check road closures anywhere you stay if there is only one way in and out and also make sure to check fire dangers before shopping for stuff to make over a campfire. We made that mistake. We got stuck from doing what we planned one entire day as the only road in and out was closed all day. Not any part of the owner's fault, just an FYI for everyone to check those things. Again, I cannot express how wonderful this rental was. I would suggest to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and wanting to explore the beauty in Washington mountains."

OUR CABIN SITS ON THE BANK OF THE S. FORK OF THE TYE RIVER (aka SKYKOMISH RIVER S. FORK) WITH A SWEEPING NATURAL VIEW ACROSS THE RIVER CHANNEL OF 5,000' BECKLER PEAK AND THE WILD SKY WILDERNESS in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Nearby activities include hiking, biking, rafting & kayaking, rock climbing, birdwatching, mushrooming, exploring the lakes and waterfalls and historic areas around Stevens Pass, historic Skykomish and Index, or just relaxing to the sound of the river or a crackling fire.
THIS CABIN IS CUTE AND PERFECT FOR 1-3 COUPLES OR A FAMILY TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL! The living area is bright and cheery, with lots of windows looking across the river to the mountain wilderness beyond. The hardwood floors and wood paneling give the place a rustic feel, and you'll love curling up in front of the fire on our comfy leather furniture for conversation, a glass of wine, or a good book or a movie. The living room opens to a deck on the river bank with a table and six chairs and a gas BBQ to facilitate outdoor meals or projects. The dining area views the greenery and the river by day or a roaring fire at night, and is perfect for after-dinner games or even doing a little work using our high-speed internet access & wifi. The fully equipped kitchen is newly updated to feature modern appliances and a beautiful granite countertop so that guests can visit while the chef prepares the feast.
The three bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed, reading lamp(s) and a dresser and/or closet for storage, and a couple of airbeds can be arranged for children to sleep in their parents room if desired. The main bathroom downstairs has a double sink separated from the toilet & shower, with beautiful stone tile and a luxurious heated floor throughout. Another half-bath and toilet are upstairs. The mudroom is perfect for washing and/or drying wet or muddy clothing after a day out-of-doors, and includes a full washer-dryer.
Enjoy a BBQ on the deck or an evening campfire under the stars, listening to the river.
Wildlife lovers will enjoy an ever-changing 'show' starring the occasional Bald Eagle or Osprey, wild ducks (harlequins, mergansers and wood ducks), water ouzels, swallows, swifts, nighthawks, etc and laugh as the Rufous Hummingbirds joust for territory and mates. Squirrels, chipmunks, and racoons live on the property and at various times Black Bears, Coyotes, Otters, Mink, Beaver and Deer have visited, and we regularly observe coho salmon spawn in the channel in front of our cabin. Early spring is especially nice if you like hummingbirds, frog choruses, and native wildflowers.
Reservations are accepted from non-smokers only as our home is a smoke free environment, and damage penalties will be assessed for non-compliance. Pets are fine, and there is a nice stake-out area.

- "Really nice place. Absolutely lovely river view and had a truly delightful stay." - "Everything as described. Access and communication was easy. Great, no stress experience." - "We had a lovely stay at this cabin! The owners were extremely communicative with the local wildfires throwing a wrench in our original plans, and were very accommodating and flexible with dates and times as we were trying to work around the Highway 2 closure. The cabin is super cozy and very peaceful. We didn't even need to light a fire in the fireplace because the cabin retains heat so well. The box fans in the bedrooms were perfect! The downstairs bathroom is wonderful with a heat fan and good ventilation. Kitchen was well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed. Be sure to bring some unsalted peanuts, as there are a few sets of Steller's Jays that wait patiently every morning for goodies at the bird feeder on the back porch :) The only tiny nitpicks were that the bedrooms upstairs had several cobwebs and spiders we ran into while walking into the rooms and a couple dead bugs here and there on linens so it seems like no one had stayed up there in a bit. The only other thing is the pillows are all super thin, so if you get neck pain like I do, be sure to bring your own! All in all a very relaxing and lovely stay!"

- "We had such a beautiful and peaceful time at this cabin. Every morning we had our coffee on the deck and would watch birds & butterflies while listening to the sound of the river. At night we enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub. This is a great place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cabin feels very private, was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you could need for cooking. The sun comes up early in summer, so if you are using the master bedroom you may want to bring a sleep mask. Though, at night if you open the sliding door in the master suite the sound of the river will lull you into a deep sleep. We kept joking about recording the sound so we could play it on a loop when we got back home. There are also some great day hikes and farmers markets in the area that we explored and had a fun time learning about the area. We are already talking about when we can return. The Tree Line Rental team was fantastic to work, gave great recommendations and made vacation planning super easy. Thank you for sharing this diamond with us!"

There are trains but we did not find them too invasive. The property itself is a cute little cabin with a nicely stocked kitchen, a great table, and a good sitting area. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a suitable size. The firewood provided for the stove is a nice touch. We did not use the hot tub or sauna but they were in great condition. - "Very spacious interior, as well as ample room outside. This was a gorgeous place to escape and chill by the river/with nature." - "Beautiful well-kept property, right off US 2 and only 15 min to Stevens Pass ski resort. This log cabin was perfect for our stay with 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids). Plenty of space for everyone with the large bedrooms, and open concept kitchen/living room. Extra large entryway with ski/shoe racks was perfect for all our ski gear at the end of the day. Hot tub was wonderful! Dish TV worked great for watching playoff football and kids cartoons. Kitchen is stocked decently. Guests should be aware there is no wifi… but cell service was in fact decent. Great communication with the management agency. Property was very clean. Would definitely stay again for our next ski trip!"

- "Amazing cabin for my group. This is our second year booking the Onemish Lodge and we will be coming back every year for our annual Skiing/Snowboarding trip!" - "Wonderful stay at Onemish. We booked over the New Year and it was the perfect spot to get together with some friends during the holiday and have a laid back end to the year. The individual rooms are upstairs, all with paired bathrooms which is hard to find, especially for 13 of us who stayed. Then the living room, kitchen, den, and another guest room with the loft is downstairs. Based on photos we could not tell if the bunk beds were child sized but they both can fit adults easily. We had plenty of room, and a handful of us relaxed and watched shows while others skied for the day. The train horn is really not loud, if anything it was a scenic view with the trains and fog. We spent plenty of time and money at the Whistling Post Saloon nearby where everyone was friendly. The hot tub worked great and our only trouble was getting the fireplace going ultimately due to low batteries in the remote. After a ski day, the open entrance has hooks to dry off ski gear, and a place to stage ski equipment overnight. Rules were straightforward on checkout, and there was plenty of room to put our garbage in the shed in the back next to the hot tub. Booked directly through Treeline Rentals and the woman who answered my questions was friendly and helpful. Absolutely see myself coming back here for ski trips with friends."

- "The cabin was in a great location and is nice and clean and everything worked properly. Nice kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of wood cut for you so you can make a cozy fire in the wood burning stove. Check in was difficult for us because I never got the checkin instructions because I hadn’t signed the agreement apparently. The email came from the property management not VRBO, so I never found it in my searches. And the VRBO app doesn’t have the phone number to call, so you have to go to the website for the number. So make your you have everything in order before you head to the cabin. The beds upstairs are in rooms that are very tiny due to the pitched ceiling. We were lucky we only had one person in each bed because we had to sleep diagonally—the head of the bed is not usable because of the pitched ceiling. There is a whole list of instructions to clean up the place before leaving including stripping the beds, putting towels in bags, cleaning kitchen, taking out garbage, etc. Yet there is still a substantial cleaning fee; they say it is for sanitizing the place. And there is a large note asking for tips for cleaning. We were a bit confused since we left the place in a very clean state. I always leave a tip for hotel cleaning staff but cleaning fees are not collected at hotels. We were happy there was cut wood for us and the place was very nice, so we did wind up leaving a nominal tip, but it just felt weird to be asked on top of the fees we paid and the extensive list of checkout/cleaning procedures. All in all the place is very nice and deserving of 5 star rating."

- "We had a amazing stay" - "We planned our stay at the last minute and were only there for one night. They were very accommodating regarding check in which made it even better. The place looks just like the pictures, absolutely adorable. We couldn't find any extra towels and there were only 3, one for each of us. That meant wet towels if you shower at night. There were no instructions for how to manage the place while you are there. It was fine for us, we just did what we would. I just didn't want to do something wrong and cause an issue. We didn't have any problems and the hot tub was already hot for us. We'd love to come back and stay again, maybe even big a large group and stay in all the cabins. Was so close to the ski resort and in a gorgeous area."
