- "We had a good time." - "We had a great time! The pool table and foosball kept the kids entertained, and the location was fantastic. It's got old school charm." - "We came from Texas to visit family in Seattle and wanted a few days with a good chance to enjoy some snow. We definitely got snow! We luckily arrived just ahead of the best Dec. snowfall the area had seen in quite sometime. Our guys enjoyed snowboarding at the near by Summit Snow area and the ladies enjoyed staying cozy and trying a little snowshoeing at the cabin. I was a little worried by previous reviews about supplies and cleanliness, but the management has done a great job rectifying whatever happened in the past. We had plenty of towels, soaps, kitchen items, etc. I loved that housekeeping left us a brand new sponge for kitchen. I appreciated that. They were also very quick to respond to questions we had. While not new, everything was clean. The space was great for our group of 7 and we could have easily accommodated more. The kids and adults loved the pool and foosball tables. The woodstove made everything feel cozy. You will need to bring your own wood, and we were glad we did. We ended up being snowed in our second day and due to road conditions decided to leave a day early as we were worried about the roads getting worse (they did). If you are traveling in winter you definitely want 4 wheel drive or chains (they tell you in the description). This was the perfect snowy getaway and allowed us to enjoy the wonderful snow and then head back to Seattle and not have to contend with it the whole week. Definitely pack plenty of food and drinks as there isn't much near by. There is a convenience store near the ski resort and a couple of small restaurants. This is a great space for a small group or family and I am sure the area is just as beautiful in spring and summer. We loved the secluded feel of the area while still being fairly close to civilization. There are several trailheads nearby and the ski resort offers snowboarding, skiing, and I believe there is tubing nearby as well. We would definitely rent this cabin again!"

- "Our family enjoyed staying over the weekend. In between hitting the slopes, we connected over puzzles and cozied up watching movies together." - "Cozy cabin with comfortable beds, a washer and dryer and other amenities that make this a great stay! The location couldn’t be better if you are headed to the slopes!" - "It's a beautiful cabin, plenty of space and everything you need for a long stay. I however think that it should be fumigated more often. We encountered quite a few spiders one of them (the biggest one) in the bed upstairs while we were sleeping. Which definitely ruined our last night. Also, the cabin lacks screens for the windows, I think it would be great to be able to breathe that fresh mountain air but given the bugs we decided not to open them. Other than that I think it was great."

Snoqualmie Summit Ski Haus is a singular combination of spectacular location and thoughtful functional design, with an artist's touch. Meticulous attention to detail defines this year-round home at the top of The Pass, minutes from 4 ski areas, 1 mile from the Pacific Crest Trail, Alpine Lakes Wilderness and other major hiking destinations.
This is a fully furnished, 3-bedroom, 1 bath family-sized home that sleeps 6 to 8 people. Two rooms with king sized beds; one on main level, one in lofted area. The downstairs bedroom has 4 bunkbeds with bonus tv/play area. Living room in loft space. Kitchen has granite countertops, stainless Samsung refrigerator, and Williams Sonoma propane range and oven. There is a propane fireplace that keeps the cabin warm and cozy. We have recently installed a 31 inch propane fire pit where the wood fire pit was, so you can still enjoy a fires even during burn bans.

Grounds and common areas are maintained twice weekly 3 - 5 Mondays and Wednesdays.
- "We stayed almost 2 weeks over Christmas and despite worst than usual weather it was a great vacation. The cabin is located on a quiet private street with no through traffic, however, it got plowed regularly (as well as driveway). It is very close to all ski areas, so we could come back home for a lunch and go back skiing. Harry is a wonderful host. Our 6yo was worried Santa wouldn’t find him away from home, and the first thing he saw was a decorated Christmas tree on the porch! There cabin is big enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 small kids. It is very clean, lots of storage space, great kitchen with astonishing stove. I cooked Christmas dinner just as I would do it at home. All bedrooms have real comfortable beds, though I would recommend to secure stairs on bank beds for smaller kids. Kids enjoyed sleading, snowshoeing on the backyard between trees and even had winter picnics inside the tree house. We’ve got so many precious happy family memories there. There are lots of great things about the cabin, it is hard to list them all. I am sure it is a beautiful place to stay any season. Thank you Harry for your hospitality!"

Sauna is great for sore ski legs & hosts were super responsive with a big snow storm on our day of exit" - "We stayed at Sam's wonderful cabin just 5 minutes from Snoqualmie Summit (Central). Super quiet private road, easy to access and just as described. No surprises. The house was very spacious for our family of 4. Could easily fit 10-12 guests comfortably. House was well stocked with board games, dry sauna, towels, blankets and kitchen condiments. He even offered to reimburse if we had to purchase any staples for cooking (which we didn't). He was responsive to questions and made our visit seamless. We would highly recommend. We did have a little trouble with locking the door on the first day. We thought we had locked it but upon return found the door unlocked. Might have been user error. Nonetheless, the rest of the trip was fine. When we return to Snoqualmie, we would definitely return to this wonderful and quaint cabin. The beds were so comfy!"

Beautiful cabin with hot tub and sauna in Snoqualmie Pass. Five minute walk to ski Hyak lift. Winter sports, ski, tubing, cross country skiing and snowshoe . Bicycle and ski rental in the area. Summer mountain biking and hikes. The Common Wealth restaurant, caffe, Coffee shop, gift shop around in this area.
- "Great location, had pots and pans to stay in and cook every night. Everything was clean and host had great communication. Worked out great" - "This home was beautiful from top to bottom. The layout was ideal for having the kids (2 bedrooms with bunks) and gameroom on one level, main living area and master bedroom on one level, and 3 more bedrooms with a wonderful large family hangout area on one level. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and items for cooking. And the location was beautifully nestled among the snow-capped trees and adjacent to skiing - easy access for fun on the slopes or taking a nice walk in the snow, but honestly, staying put and enjoying games with the family or the hot tub and sauna were just as enticing. All in all, this is a 5-star vacation rental!"

- "Such a great place to use as a home base for exploring the Snoqualmie area, skiing at Summit, or just relaxing. This quiet, large, but comfortable house is quite impressive. Be sure to bring chains and 4WD in the winter. One of the beds is on a landing, which is kind of odd, but should work out well for a vacation stay." - "The location was perfect for our activities. The home was designed very well and nicely stocked but the current cleaning crew and maintainence staff leave a bit to be desired. We were given the wrong access code initially, cobwebs from the ceiling throughout the rooms, black mold in the corners of the shower floor, overgrown weeds blocking the hot tub area and 2 bathrooms not the 3 described on the listing. The thermostat and fireplace controls were not functional when we arrived so after contacting the property manager we were told maintainence would be calling back but we were not called once during our 3 day stay. I wish there had been an opportunity to address this privately with the actual owners of the property because everything we experienced is easily correctable but leaving an online review was our only option."

Welcome to your perfect mountain retreat, just minutes from the lifts! Our charming cabin in Snoqualmie Pass offers a peaceful getaway nestled among the picturesque Cascades of Washington state. Great for outdoor enthusiasts, this spacious cabin provides easy access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities.
Whether you're out and about or seeking a serene nature retreat, this is the perfect choice for a memorable getaway with family or friends.
The space
This charming cabin has 4 beds and 2 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 7 guests. It's ideal for families or groups of friends.
Upstairs: Bedroom 1: King Bed & Balcony, Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Bathroom 1: with standing shower
Main Floor: Bedroom 3: Twin Bed, Bathroom 2: Large Bathroom with bathtub and washer/dryer
Downstairs: Bedroom 4: King Bed in an open-plan living area & workspace
Living Spaces:
On the main floor, relax by the wood-burning fireplace, watch movies on the Roku TV, play board games, or listen to records. The floors are tile, so we recommend bringing slippers in the winter months for an even cozier stay. Don’t worry, we have a few if you forget.
Downstairs offers a second living space with a couch, TV, propane stove, a sit/stand desk with two monitors as well as a king-sized bed. There is also a separate entryway that leads you outside to the backyard and to extra firewood. *Please note* this space does not have a door at the top of the stairs, but it is a quiet and separate space that provides nice privacy. The king bed is also a bit higher than standard beds, therefore those with mobility challenges may find it difficult to get in and out of this bed.
Kitchen and Dining:
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals after a day of adventure. Along with essential appliances and cookware, we offer a drip coffee machine, French press, coffee grinder for your whole beans, hot water kettle, crock pot, blender, and pantry staples. The outdoor gas BBQ grill makes it convenient to cook outside.
Wi-Fi and Entertainment Options:
The cabin has high-speed internet with two Roku TVs for streaming your favorite movies and shows. There's also a sit/stand desk with two monitors for those who need to work. We recommend bringing your own docking station, as we can't guarantee compatibility with all laptop models, and we're unable to offer IT support for connectivity issues.
Outdoor Space:
Enjoy the spacious deck on the main floor, equipped with a propane grill surrounded by tall evergreens. You also have access to the backyard. If you bring your dog, please be considerate of other guests and clean up after them. Additionally, since we are in the mountains where wildlife is abundant, please keep your dogs on a leash. The backyard is not fenced.
Location Highlights:
The cabin is conveniently located near multiple ski areas. Here are the distances from the cabin to the main ski resorts:
- Hyak/Summit East: 2 mins drive / 10 mins walk
- Silver Fir: 3 mins drive / 20 mins walk / 5 min bike ride (mountain bike park lift)
- Summit Central: 4 mins drive / 36 mins walk
- Summit West: 7 min drive
- Alpental: 10 min drive
Year-Round Activities:
The cabin is surrounded by hiking trails and outdoor adventure opportunities. Nearby, you can explore waterfalls, lakes, and more. Check the guest book for recommendations on local attractions.
Pets:
We love dogs, and if you are requesting to bring yours, we know you do too! Just let us know and we will provide bowls, and dog specific towels to wipe them dry if it’s raining or snowing. We also know that it can be hard to keep your furry friend off the furniture, but we ask that if they prefer to lounge with you, please make sure to add one of the blankets we have provided on the couches and beds. (There is a small fee for additional cleaning, so please make sure to include your pup in your reservation.)
Babies:
We are parents, so we are well aware of how many things babies need, even for a simple trip! Therefore, we have a few items available for an additional fee if you would like to travel light(er).
Upon request, we can provide a pack-and-play crib and sheet, slumber pod (blackout tent), hatch sound machine, activity center, highchair, foam mat, and a selection of toys and books suitable for young children. If you have any specific requests, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that while we offer these items, we do not consider our cabin to be 'baby proof'.
House Rules:
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
No parties or events of any kind

Other things to note
**Important **
Snoqualmie Pass is quite far from major grocery stores. While there are some nearby stores, they are limited in selection and tend to be more expensive. We recommend stocking up on essentials before you arrive to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. This will help you enjoy your time in the mountains without the inconvenience of long trips for supplies.
Our parking pad accommodates 3-4 cars. There are restrictions on-street parking in the Hyak community that may result in a $200 fine. Overflow parking can be found in the Hyak Lower Lot on Keechelus Drive.
We love when it snows! But during winter months the roads can be slippery. It is advised that you either have an AWD/4WD car or bring chains with you. Our local road gets plowed by the county, and we have a service snow-blow our parking pad, but there may be times when there is still snow/ice on the ground. If you are staying during snow, you'll frequently see up to a foot of build up before the crew comes and cleans. We do have a shovel in case you need to do some extra shoveling in between snow fall.
We love dogs, and your furry friends are welcome to stay with you at the cabin. However, for their safety and the safety of residents, all pets must be kept on a leash when outside. This might not seem intuitive because "it's the mountain," but many folks live here full-time and there are lots of people out walking. No matter how well-behaved your dog is, it probably won't be able to resist the neighbor's pet bunny that is frequently outside! :)
