All personnel was so kind and friendly! They always accommodate all our requests and needs during our stay without a flaw. Place itself is gorgous and relaxing. We always saw families of deers. Horseback riding is great as well. Scheduling time is 10am and 3pm. Our group had absolute beginners and people who were grown up with horses. Our ride was very smooth and relaxing. There are many little hikes around. But we'd chosen to drive 1 hour to Maple loop hike (stunning views!), Ross lake , and Diablo lake with emerald, teal color--unbelievable! Regarding, COVID, all people on hikes and in the lodge were in masks. Dining is fully available for ordering and picking up. Very pleasant trip and stay. We hope to come back."

Liked sitting on front porch with morning coffee, but the sun hits you so hard you can’t stay out for only a few minutes, it needs some sort of sun shade, that would be the only concern we had. Very enjoyable we would definitely go back!" - "Perfect place to stay for a family reunion in twisp."

- "Stayed here at the beginning of July. For those unaware, in most of Okanagan County fireworks are prohibited making this the perfect location to take our anxiety ridden dog for the 4th. This was our first time at this home. The pictures are a great representation. Its high ceilings and open concept made it feel huge. The central air made the near 90° weather easy to escape. There is a large master bedroom and bath upstairs. The home itself is located a few miles out of town making it even more peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay or just a good base to explore the area I highly recommend this home."

We were pleasantly surprised to see a dishwasher and washer, amazing gas stove, and a cast iron griddle! It didn’t take away from the cabin vibes! Super comfy bed, and loved the overall aesthetic, everything felt super clean. We were so happy with how cool it stayed inside when it was in the high 80s and humid. The property is very well maintained, has great walking trails, close to the river, and was very dog friendly! It was the perfect place to escape and unwind. - "clean and nice." - "We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great." - "The cabin was wonderful! We had easy access to trails, town and the pool! We were even able to enjoy watching the rain from the partially cover deck! It was hard leave!" - "We've stayed here before a few times. We like it because it is a log cabin. It's an attached cabin, not a stand alone, but it feels like it is a stand alone as it faces a different direction from the other front door. They are beautiful log cabins with log furniture. They are cozy feeling and we love to look out the windows at the snow. They are also right on a xcountry ski trail and it is REALLY nice not to have to pack up to head out every time. The drawback to the lovely setting is that the cabin is an almost 20 minute drive from town (Winthrop) but there is a full kitchen and you can go for quiet night time walks. They could use some more flatware, especially forks. The person who sends you the instructions for check-in is fabulous, easy to reach, quick to respond and friendly."

Timber One Bedroom is a perfect place to stay for a couple or small family or friend group. This room has a living room with vaulted ceiling, full size futon and smart tv with roku. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all you would need to make home cooked meals. The bedroom has a queen and a twin bed and the bathroom has a tub shower. Sit on the porch and take in nature or go for a soak in the year round hot tub or take a dip in the seasonal pool or in the Methow River down a very short walking trail right out your door.
- "The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and me! It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the tv had Roku where we could sign in to our favorite streaming services. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and exploring the trails and shops nearby. Would stay again!" - "No futon but the couch was a pull out. A family of deer made every morning and evening a beautiful sight. Great location" - "This cabin was great! Location made it easy to relax after a day of hiking in the national park. Only issue was the water temp changing when the other tenants flushed the toilet or were also showering. Owners were great to work with. There was a lot of pet hair on the couch when we arrived, and one of our kids is allergic to cat hair. After leaving a message, they called right back, confirmed the previous guests had a dog, but had housekeeping come out right away anyway. Excellent service!!"

They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA

- "The hot tub was great and really enjoyed having it to ourselves- the cabin was clean and beautiful the setting was supreme - the little walk to river was enjoyable as well- soooo peaceful exactly what we were looking for!" - "Great stay" - "This was my second stay at the cabin. We just loved it. So beautiful in the snow!" - "We had such a wonderful time. Beautiful log cabin and serene location. Kitchen had everything you would need. And we could walk to the river. Only bummer was that the pool and hot tub were not open due to Covid. However, that is out of the owner's control. Looked like they were nice and well kept up though. I plan on going back in November for a girls trip."

Sometimes you just want to get away from it all. Why not stay here? Mountain Slopes, Summer Floats(a pet friendly, legal, licensed nightly rental with a current Okanogan County health permit as required by law) is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is located in the pine forest at "The Woodlands" development, about 11 miles from Winthrop and 3 from Mazama. Access to the Methow Trail system is close, and soon to be closer with the development of a spur trail that will connect with the greater system-probably by the winter of 2020/2021.
The house entrance is easy with one step up to the front porch. Once inside the living/dining/kitchen room extends the full width of the house, letting in plenty of light. There is a large smart TV with Wii and 'tons of movies'. There are also lots of board games, and corn hole set etc…. Seating is ample and comfortable on the reclining couch. The kitchen is well appointed and should offer the accoutrements needed, from soup to lasagna.
Just down the hall is a queen room, the common full-bathroom, as well as the double iron-bedstead master suite with private bath.

- "Stayed here and went skiing for a week. Loved how close it was to the MCT. One bed had a memory foam mattress. Would have liked more blankets for the beds so we didn't have to use as much heat at night, especially when it got down to 0 at night." - "Perfect location next to the XC tracks. Quiet neighborhood and cozy cabin with hot tub facility. Not too long of a drive to Winthrop for an after-ski beer." - "Love these log cabins and being right on the ski trail! They have the check in and out down. They are not close to main street; no walking to town, but so quiet and cozy on a winter night."

- "very good place to stay" - "Very impressive spot to stay. Ski out the door, nicely furnished, and very cozy. Great check-in and communication throughout." - "We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights in February and it was just the get away (from Seattle) we needed. The cabin is very comfortable and right on the x-country ski trails. A short drive (~15mins) to Winthrop and surrounded by gorgeous scenery and ponderosa pines (my favorite!). The single bed in the bedroom had a trundle pull out which was perfect for our two kids. We kept warm with the gas fire and look forward to returning often!"
