This historic cabin is cherished and set in a private beautiful park. On clear nights the stars look like magnified diamonds. Darkening curtains in the loft and master bedroom keep it dark for sleep. Maximum stay is 7 days. Please read the house rules before booking. Questions are welcome on the VRBO message thread.
Free parking and WIFI. The 3 acre property has views of mountains and a wildlife preserve giving you a private and relaxing experience. Just up the highway 1/3 mile there are some great restaurants and a little store. The Mt. Baker ski area is a 20 minute drive to great hiking and famous mountain views.
The master bedroom has a balcony. Beautiful carpets are through out the cabin. The kitchen and dining room flow into the living room. We have some great movie selections, books, board games, music and a nice sound system.

(Trott Cabin history):
This cabin was built by Otto T. Trott, M.D. who was co founder and physician of Mountain Rescue of the U.S.A and Ski Patrol doctor at Mt. Baker for 44 years. Dr. Trott was also an original organizer of the National Volunteer Ski Patrol. He was a famous diagnostician, surgeon, epidemiologist and tuberculosis expert and his teaching lectures are still being used today in hospitals and Universities. A ski run "Ottobahn" is named in his honor.

House Rules:
No smoking anywhere and guests must be 25 yrs to book. Please remove your shoes each time you enter the cabin. Extra guest, (including children of all ages), fee for more than 4 guests @ $50.00 Per night Per guest. $50.00 Per dog Per stay. Please let us know how many guests and dogs Before Check in. Not set up for babies and toddlers. Park on the level end area of the loop surrounding 2 sheds. Walk down to the cabin from there and do not attempt to drive anywhere avoiding the soft meadowed areas. A foot path is the access down a slight incline to the side door where the lock box is located.

Eco friendly policy: *Please always compact clean, dry recycle items separated from the garbage to reduce the volume of garbage. All extra garbage that does not fit into our kitchen cans must be taken home by the guest. Please pick up after dogs, tie bags and store them in the can on outside porch and take it home at check out. Please do not unplug any electronics anywhere or rearrange or stand on furniture.
*Please lock up the cabin, turn off all 6 heat registers and lights whenever you leave the cabin vacant.
Septic system: NEVER flush tampons, wipes, dental floss, feminine products or excessive soap or food down any toilets or drains or the septic system will be damaged and the guest will be charged for repairs.*There is no food disposal in the sink so, please just empty the drain basket into the garbage can and do not allow food to go down the drain.

Woodstove directions: (*No fires during hot dry months or fire bans.)Open the flue by pushing the lever all the way inwards. Keep logs from touching the glass, and do not shove logs against the interior bricks to avoid breakage. Shovel the cooled ashes into the metal can with the lid on tightly.

Self Check in: 3pm - The entrance is a sharp left turn (drive slowly and carefully here), park in front of the gate, get the key out of the lock box using the small black button to clear it then enter the 3 digit code followed by the # sign and lock the gate key back inside of it's lockbox, lock the lock onto the gate ring so it does not fall to the ground and get lost, leave the gate open for the duration of your stay, then park on the level end of the loop road.
Cabin Lockbox: Use the small black button to clear it , enter the 3 digits followed by the # sign, repeat these steps to lock the key back inside it's lockbox. Please leave the keys locked inside their own lockboxes so that you do not lose keys.

- "Me and my guests just completed a wonderful trip to this delightful forested preserve of a property. It was cozy and inviting, with comfortable beds, piping hot showers in demand, and a gorgeous view of Church Mountain. We cooked delicious meals together with a full kitchen, and played on the large rotating Scrabble board both nights. We could have watched some fun looking titles of the film selection, but had too much fun just playing and reading. It is great to have good reading lights above each bed. We discovered the long railway easement road across the highway opposite the cabin which takes you through a lovely moss covered walk all the way into Glacier, where we enjoed a muffin and coffee at the Wakenbake Bakery and Cafe. The helpful signs the host put up gave us good instructions about how best to manage this lovely secluded cabin in the woods. And it was SO quiet, we could hear owls!"

- "This cabin was perfect for our first time to the Cascades. It was just the two of us. We are a quiet and peaceful couple from the Midwest. We didn't bring pets. We stayed for two nights. The check in process was slick - went to a lock box in Maple Falls. The cabin was exceptionally clean. It's a private cabin tucked within a developing neighborhood just off the main road to Mt. Baker. We were pleased to enjoy the trail by the creek! We could see a snow capped mountain just a short walk from our cabin! After a long and beautiful hike at Mt. Baker, we were comforted knowing we were returning to this cabin. We took advantage of the hot tub. We even watched a VHS! The daytime temperatures were 50-70F, and we were comfortable without A/C. They did have a large fan available which was appreciated. The check out process was just as slick. We didn't know what to expect, and fortunately, this far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely look into this cabin again if we find ourselves in the area. In the meantime, you should rent this cabin! You won't be disappointed!"

Hello and welcome to our cozy cabin. Located in a private community with amenities, in the summer, full park, picnic areas, fishing pond, access to hiking trails and river trails. This is a great place for family fun. And as June this year the pool is open to renters now, Monday thru Thursday. Friday thru Sunday is for owners only at this point. During the winter your 30 minutes from Mt Baker Ski Area. Located just past the town of Glacier.

- "This was one of four cabins/houses our wedding party rented for the weekend, and was by far the best deal. The other places were either cleaned sloppily (in one case not at all), or had a shortage of towels, or lacked enough parking. This cabin was great. Very clean, with new-looking floors and woodwork, new windows all around, and well-stocked towels and kitchen. The fireplace looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use it - there are space heaters in the bathroom and the first floor bedroom that heat up quickly in the morning. (There is also plenty of firewood for the fireplace). The upstairs loft with a queen bed was private and cozy - no dressers up there, but there is a clothes rack to hang things. And flashlights are supplied in each nightstand, which was a nice touch. The cabin is on a corner lot but it's wooded nicely and very private. The neighborhood is also very nice and quiet, and we enjoyed walking the areas between our different houses. This was perfect for myself and my wife, and would probably be okay for four people, if you didn't need a lot of privacy. I'd definitely book this cabin again for a relaxing weekend."

Great news! We have new, fast internet, a 5G network thanks to T-Mobile. An excellent place to unwind, The Nook makes you feel like your bringing the outdoors in. Semi private, set back in the woods, The Nook has lots of windows to enjoy the forest. Enjoy the hiking trails of the Mt. Baker/snoqualmie national forest right outside your door. 17 miles from Mt. Baker ski area & 1/4 from Glacier. Cornell creek is a stroll through the woods. Also, enjoy trails through the woods to Glacier.
The space
This little cabin is brand new. The modern style has a pine ceiling and iron accents. The loft has lots of windows and is super cozy with a queen bed. Do keep in mind that you have to navigate a ladder to get into the loft. There is a sofa bed on the main floor as well. There is a propane fireplace in kitchen and living room to dry out and get cozy.
Having more people join or a family reunion? You can also book "The LTC" it is on the same property as "The Nook," sleeps 4. "Dislodge" is right next door and sleeps 8 people. Both available to book through Airbnb.

There is a 2 night minimum from Dec. 1st - March 31st, however don't be afraid to ask for one night midweek or last minute. Please don't "request" one night but send a message for a better response. I love kids and don't want not allow them. Please inquire if you will have children coming to ensure a good fit. Dogs are welcome but it is an additional $50 flat fee. Please notify us if you are bringing your pooch. Pets must be pre approved and paid for before or upon check in. Any pets that are not pre approved may not visit or stay. Please keep you pup on the main floor only and do not allow them to scratch on wood doors. Keep them off of all furniture. Do not leave them unattended in The Nook. If you leave for a bit or the day, take them with you. This is as non smoking facility. There are no refunds due to poor internet. NO cancellations due to weather.

Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.

Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.

Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.

Gated Community / HOA: About Snowline Community Club
Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River, a children's playground and kickball field.

The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy. Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road.

A Rental Agreement regarding the home is required to be signed by the guest on the booking before the cancellation period ends. The agreement will be sent to you through the booking platform upon booking.
The home is not child-proofed - there are no covers on the outlets, or locks on cabinets and drawers containing cleaning products, sharp items, etc. You are responsible for taking precautions to keep your children safe.
The property has easy access to a quiet road and treed area, please keep your children within sight distance.
In respect of our neighbors we ask for quiet time between 10pm and 8am.

Both summer and winter alike, this beautiful 2-story chalet with 2 bedrooms plus loft and a 1-3/4 bath will delight your family and help to create lasting memories! Upon entering the main side entrance, you’ll discover a mud room with a washer/dryer, plenty of room, and provisions for personal gear storage. Beyond that, there’s a well-thought-out ¾-bath, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and lots of closet space. The kitchen has a prep station/breakfast bar with two bar stools overlooking the dining area that comfortably seats four. An open and airy living room with expansive windows provides northern sun exposure with a treed territorial view, a free-standing gas fireplace to cozy up to on those winter nights, and a “smart TV”. The living room door opens up to a nice private outdoor deck for relaxing and entertaining. Plenty of table seating and a gas grill are provided for bar-be-que time! - "We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The snowline development is very secure and offers several amenities (off leash dog area, pool, playground, pickleball and tennis courts). The cabin was nicely decorated (loved the 90s cabin aesthetic!), very clean, and well taken care of. The kitchen is fully stocked (everything from olive oil to a garlic press). The checkin process was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. There is no service at the cabin but the wifi was good and plenty of entertainment options on the smart tv. Take a walk around the gated community and enjoy the peaceful mountain vibe. If you feel like heading out, the small town of Glacier is less than 1 mile West and has restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the National Forest Service Center with information about navigating in the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Mt Baker Ski area is about 20 minutes East and offers vast landscape for all skill levels of skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. Mt Baker Ski area also has 2 restaurants and a bar along with a ski shop for stocking up on gear.

Important Notes:

Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.

Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internetare notavailable. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online. **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.

Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.

Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.

Gated Community / HOA: About Snowline Community Club
Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River, a children's playground and kickball field.

The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy. Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road.

**Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required. Parking is not permitted on roads within the Snowline, Mt Baker Rim, and Snowater Community. Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.**

Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay.

Pet Policy: DOGS only permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 1 dog allowed @ $35/per night

Pet Rules:

We love pets and are glad that you're bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person's home.
1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in.

4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old.
5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever orwhile you are at the ski area.

8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors.
9. All guests agree to adhere to rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances.
10. Any fines or violations will be charged to the guest.

Snowline Cabin #81 - Hilltop Cabin Escape!
Perched on a hill head-and-shoulders above the rest, your family will feel like they are staying in an enchanted log home tree house! This 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath log home provides the perfect escape from city-dwelling life. The main floor features a cozy living room with comfortable furnishings, including one regular and one corner group sofa, a freestanding gas fireplace to cozy up to for sipping coffee or cocoa (or a glass of wine!), a flat-screen monitor with Roku, and a magnificent territorial view through a canopy of trees. The kitchen/dining area provides plenty of usable counter space for creating a light snack or whipping up a gourmet feast, along with a dining table that provides seating for four. A tiled combination ¾-bath and laundry cubby with a stack washer and dryer round out the first floor. - "This was our fourth stay at this cabin and a relaxing getaway as always. Cabin is cozy and clean. Kitchen is well equipped, bed is great, and hot tub aclean and well maintained. - "Great cabin close to Mount Baker with huge amount of DVDs! Very clean and comfortable."

This is an original 1920's small Glacier Cottage. It is tucked away in the forest at the end of the road with the large lodge next door. The cottage is within three minute walk to town and 20 minute drive to Mt. Baker.

New November 2023 we now offer hi speed internet!

The cottage has a king size bed and full size futon. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Check out the private hot tub.

You can catch the Baker bus from Graham's if you do not want to drive.

The space
This cottage is tucked away in the forest right next door to the large lodge, only 3 minute walk to town. You can catch the Baker Bus up to the mountain or drive 20-25 minutes to the mountain top. This cottage is cozy! Amazing for two guests a little tight for four. We have fiber internet so come work remotely and enjoy nature.

Kitchen has all the gadgets to cook about anything. The fridge is nice and big for short or extended stays. We have an electric stove and propane bbq for you to enjoy. The covered porch and rocking chairs are perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain or trails. There is a fire pit and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. We just installed AC for those hot summer days.

The ceilings in the bedroom/living room area are low, as this is a very small and historic cottage. The washer and dryer are located on the outside of the cottage in a storage room.

This cottage offers a private space not shared like other local condos and your own private hot tub. You can also hear the creek from the front porch and we have a walking trail to the creek. The cottage is adjacent to the large lodge.


* NOTE: These cabins, while offering deluxe accommodations, are in a heavily wooded area. Occasionally, guests may experience weather conditions or power outages that are out of the host's control. The hosts will do all they can to assist but are not responsible for issues beyond their control. Our owners make every effort to keep the hot tubs functioning perfectly, as they are the most requested amenity. However, mechanical problems may occur that cannot be resolved quickly in this remote area and no refunds are made if this occurs, per the terms of our rental agreement. Enjoy the many other amenities, beautiful surroundings and area adventures during your stay.

Guests have access to the entire cottage.

Other things to note
Cottage is self check-in through Airbnb app. We recommend checking in 30 minutes prior to arrival to ensure cell service.

Please note the cottage is small 600 sq ft with low ceilings in the bedroom area.

You will find everything you need in the cottage to enjoy a short or extended stay.

Please note we use a dehumidifier in the cottage as it is located in the mountains and is a very old building.

The bedding for the futon is in plastic tote under the futon or in the foot rest.

**Please keep in mind that the cottage is located in a very rural area with no cell service. The cottage offers wifi; however there is only one carrier and it is mostly dependable. We have a landline in the cottage.****

The Mt. Baker Cabin in the woods, sleeps up to six. Three Bedrooms, The blue room has 1 queen bed, the green room has 1 queen bed and there is also a small room containing bunk beds (which is best suited to children only).

The cabin is complete with a half wrap around covered wooden porch with mountain views, a bbq area, cozy gas fire place and heated floors.
Please note, as of February 2025, we no longer have a hot tub on the property.

The space
Guests have access to the whole cabin. The cabin is within a complex of other cabins, and it is surrounded by nature. Many outdoor activities are on the doorstep or a short drive away - hikes, skiing, lakes, rivers to name a few...! There is also a pub and restaurant, 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. We have Netflix subscription on the TV for those who want to hang out inside!

Great news! We have new, fast internet, a 5G network thanks to T-Mobile. This cozy cabin has a full kitchen, full bath, wifi and sleeps 4 comfortably. Tucked away in the woods just east of Dislodge the LTC sits on 2.2 acres it is a gem in the North Cascades.
Having more people join or a family reunion? You can also book "The Nook" it is on the same property as The LTC and sleeps 3/4 people. "Dislodge." It is right next door and sleeps 8 people. Both available to book through Airbnb.

The space
The LTC, a cozy cabin in the woods! This one bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and bathroom sleeps 4 comfortably. Enjoy the flat screen Tv with dvd player and or wifi. The LTC is a great place to relax after a long day skiing or hiking. Also, a great place to hang out for the day while enjoying the great outdoors of Glacier, Mt. Baker ski area and the Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie national forest. Just a 1/4 mile from Glacier you can wonder through the woods to town where you will find Grahams store, 2 restaurants, The Wake and bakery, The Glacier ski shop and the Mt. Baker snowboard shop. We are also just 17 miles from the Mt. Baker ski area.

Pets must be pre arranged with Owner, there is an additional fee of $50.00. Pets must never be left unattended in cabin, they must remain on the main floor and off all beds and furniture. You are also responsible for cleaning up after your dog and disposing of poop properly. Please notify us of any damage.

There is no cancellations or last minute changes due to weather.

We do have wifi and pay for it monthly. Most of the time it is great but sometimes issues out of our control effect it. Weather etc. there will be no refunds due to spotty internet.

Washington state sales tax is included in the rate per night.

Baker ski area & 1/4 from Glacier. Cornell creek is a stroll through the woods. Also, enjoy trails through the woods to Glacier.

The space
This little cabin is brand new. The modern style has a pine ceiling and iron accents. The loft has lots of windows and is super cozy with a queen bed. Do keep in mind that you have to navigate a ladder to get into the loft. There is a sofa bed on the main floor as well. There is a propane fireplace in kitchen and living room to dry out and get cozy.

This rustic log cabin situated near Canyon Creek and the North Fork Nooksack River, and surrounded by pristine forests, offers comfortable living in a slower-paced environment. Relax in a beautiful setting with no television, telephone or internet between you and nature.
The cabin is located just off SR-542 (Mt. Baker Hwy) 21 miles from Mt. Baker Ski Area and 31 miles from Bellingham.

One bedroom has one queen bed; the other has a bunk bed with queen below and single above. The main heat source is an air-tight wood stove (wood and fire starting materials provided). Fire wood is accessed through a wood door to the right of the fireplace. An electric space heater is available for use as needed.

The cabin is very user friendly. There is a wonderful woodstove to make the space extra cozy. The smart TV and internet provide modern amenities while on vacation. The kitchen is sparkly clean and bright and well stocked with all that you should need. The towels are white and fluffy and there is plenty of hot water for warming up after a long day of skiing or hiking. There is a fire pit outside which is great for roasting marshmallows as you listen to Glacier creek.

The whole house excluding a couple of locked closets upstairs are accessible to guests. There is a washer/dryer that is for the guests and the yard, fire-pit and the bbq are also available for guests use.

There is firewood in the woodshed available for the wood-stove. A warm fire makes the cabin very cozy, although the cabin has electric heat as well. Slippers are nice to have while at the cabin.

Welcome to our home away from home! This cabin is located in the Mt. Baker Rim gated community and is a space where you can rest and relax in the wooded areas of Glacier after a day of skiing Mt. Baker or hiking through the trails.
We have been coming to the Mt. Baker area since we were children and we look forward to sharing our cabin with you and your families.
It is a self catered cabin in the woods, so you may have to rake some leaves off the back deck or shovel snow during your stay!

The space
The cabin:
Our home offers 2 bedrooms and a loft which has a comfortable queen size futon. The cabin is a self catered cabin in the woods so you may need to shovel some snow during your stay and turn on the fireplace when you arrive to heat up the cabin.

The main floor offers a bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, large living room with a comfortable sectional couch, dining area and laundry room.

The second floor offers a bedroom with a king size bed, second bathroom with a toilet and shower and carpeted loft area with a queen size futon.

The kitchen is stocked with all the kitchen utensils you need including cutlery, pots and pans, slow cooker, bowls, and more.

You will find a private hot tub on the back deck which is the perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking in the magnificent Mt. Baker national forest.

The layout of the cabin makes it perfect for families to stay and offers space to relax, play board games, read a book and enjoy the tranquility of the Mt. Baker forest area.

There is a TV to access streaming services however there is NOT cable TV at the cabin. The cabin offers a variety of boardgames to enjoy and books and magazines of the area.

The only consumables we provide are soap, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and cleaning supplies. Please bring your own coffee and shampoo, and of course food!

WIFI is installed in the cabin and there is a landline with free calling through USA and Canada. There is no cell service in Glacier.

The space
Mt. Baker Ski Area is a thirty minute drive from our gated community through the stunning Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The town of Glacier is less than a mile down the road with a selection of restaraunts, coffee shops, bars, bakery, ski and snowboard shop, and general store - not to mention the unlimited outdoor recreation.

Entering the cabin, you will be welcomed into a bright living room with large, south facing windows that bring in lots of natural light. A propane stove fireplace is a central feature that heats the whole place. This is thermostat controlled and we also have electric heat throughout with extra heaters in each of the two full bathrooms. Each bathroom includes a full tub with shower.

Upstairs, the bedroom has vaulted ceilings, attached bathroom and second-story balcony in the trees. Cozy up in the log frame master bed.

The main floor bedroom has room for the entire family with two bunk beds, providing three twin beds and a full. There is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room if needed.

A full kitchen ready to prepare meals (or dish up takeout). Laundry machines are in a closet near the downstairs bathroom.

Outside, the cabin has a wraparound deck that is separate from the upper balcony. Indulge in a soothing hot tub after a day on the mountain or however you choose to enjoy it!
