Studio Suite/cabin on a park like setting. This cottage is located in our around 7 acres farm. Its very private. No farm animals or farming on the property. Close to 3 lakes.

The property is beautiful and very quiet and the location to the lakes is excellent a short drive from the city. The only suggestions we would have is a few chairs and a table outside the cabin to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktail and a few extra towels at this time of year as they don't dry overnight. We brought our own air mattress to give us each our own bed as I came with my teenage daughter. Plenty of room for that! Can't wait to come back."

house rules
As a Host😊 , my goal is to ensure that you have as comfortable stay as you possibly can. I want you and your guests to create lasting memories during your stay in our cabin

But to do so, I would really appreciate if you could follow the below house rules. I know, I know, rules are boring😆… But these rules ensure we can provide future guests with a great experience.

⭐Flamable: （extremely important）
our cabin is 95% made out of wood , so it's extremely important to keep out of any kind of fire ,no smoking,no candles etc.

⭐Kitchen:
Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We supply tea and coffee, as well as cooking utensils should you wish to cook. My only request is that you wash all dishes and utensils prior to leaving.and make sure trun off all the ellements that require to be off specially flamable。

⭐Noise:
As neighbours surround our property, we would appreciate if you could keep noise down after 10pm if possible. and no loud party in the house too .thank you for understanding

- "We were impressed to see the log cabin in the middle of tall trees. Lainey was very helpful and kind. She welcomed us with a big bag of cherries & beautiful fresh flowers. It has a big space for kids to run around and outdoor games. " - "We were happy to stay for 3 nights in the woods First all the good - very comfortable beds and room for everyone. The yard was lovely. I was able to make a few lovely meals. We were close enough to all that we needed to do in maple ridge and vancouver. The hosts were great! The not so good. The owner did tell me the husband would be there but i was not understanding he would be there a lot. It made it awkward to hear him and the dog there. One small frying pan to cook with was good but more could help others. Spices etc would allow more options. A few strangers were on the property picking up wood shavings and knocked on the door thinking we were the owners so that was odd. BUT - you could not ask for nicer people. The location was amazing and as a home base it was a stunning home. We were grateful for such a nice place!"

You can also use this as a base to plan enriching activities for the holidays. Hiking in Bear Mountain Park; Water Playing in Hayward Lake; Camping in Rolley Lake; Shooting at Mission & District Rod & Gun Club; Cheering at Mission Raceway Park.

- "The log house was lovely. We were there during the Feb snowfall so little could be done outdoors. It was equipped with most kitchen essentials but we couldn’t find a cork screw. All in all a pleasant stay. " - "Nice property. " - "We had a little mini 2 night vacation as a family. The cabin was spacious and easily accommodated our family group A nice escape from the city without being far. A couple downsides - no microwave and only one bowl for serving. We had to improvise to set out our meals and snacks. The single cup coffee machine was broken so we needed to go get instant coffee to brew a pot. Beds only had flat sheets on the mattress and then a comforter No top sheet Bathroom drawers had long hairs in them and one grill pan had been put away unwashed But other than that very clean. Other than these small inconveniences it was a great stay. Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans and plates and cups etc. but no sugar for the coffee so be sure to bring anything you might need. Cabin was very cold on arrival but heated up quite quickly thanks to a cozy gas fireplace in addition to central heat. Host has quick communication. Check in process was easy. "
