Indulge in our serene, solar-powered mountain top retreat. 10min drive to Princeton, 2min walk to trails, this 3BR 2 bath cabin is fully equipped for up to 4 to 6 adults and children.

Hike or bike the China Ridge trails right out your door, or the nearby KVR or Manning Park. Kayak or fish in the Similkameen or local lakes. Discover the exquisite wine and organic produce country.

Or simply stay put, soak up the sun + stars, read a book or do yoga in our spacious rooms and patios. The cabin is located on an acre of forested land, 10 minutes from Princeton. Spacious parking for 2-3 cars and/or RV is available in front. Enjoy!

- The cabin features many comforts inside and out, gas fireplaces, plenty of seating and cozy spots, a home office setup with unlimited internet, a fire pit, and a outdoor picnic table.

- Main floor has spacious living space, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, front yard, and a secluded patio with BBQ and seating.

- Two bedrooms on top floor with a master en-suite bathroom. One large bedroom in the basement with access to an outdoor patio.

- Child friendly space including upon request: crib, pack and play, high chair, safety gate, etc.

Here are some important house rule to note:

- Observe seasonal fire bans. The cabin is located in a high forest fire risk area. It is prohibited to have any fires during windy days, and during the fire ban season. Up to date fire restrictions can be found here: https://bit.ly/3iEGOrB
- Power supply is strictly limited to lights, small electronic devices, and the fridge. Do not plug any other equipment whatsoever. The generator might run as needed from time to time, and will stop automatically.
- Drinking water: Tap water is from a nearby spring. Also, we provide filtered water in the clear jugs located in the kitchen (refillable at Save-On Foods in town).
- Bear and cougar safety: Please do not leave any food or garbage outside. Practice bear and cougar safety on trails. Make sure you bring bear safety items if you intend to go on the trails. (We may be able to provide bear spray and air horn canisters upon request).
- Bugs: Given our location, there is always a chance of bugs being around. Please endeavour to keep doors and windows that lack insect screens closed whenever possible. We have insect zappers in the living room.
- Heating and hot water: Adjust thermostat near each fireplace to make yourself comfortable. Please use water sparingly and keep showers short.
- Parking: Please pull up as close to the house as possible. Our next door neighbour drives a long-haul truck, and may need a wide radius turn at the cul-de-sac.
- Wifi network and password will be provided before your arrival. Wifi data is unlimited but speed may fluctuate depending on reception.
- Trash: Garbage, recycling bins, and cleaning supplied are located under the kitchen sink. Please pack and take your trash with you upon your departure (green tags for landfill garbage disposal are available in the top kitchen drawer).
- A first aid kit is available in the guest bathroom behind the door. Fire extinguishers are available in the kitchen and living room.
- Kid safety: Pack and play and safety gate available upon request (use at your own risk). All cabinets and drawers containing sharp or unsafe items in kitchen and bathrooms are already child-locked.
- ATVs: The China Ridge trails around our cabin are strictly for *non-motorized* use, and no ATVs are permitted on these trails, or on the trails connecting our cabin to the town of Princeton (the area has just been converted into a privately-owned conversation land).
