Cozy fully self contained cottage situated at the back of our acre property, over looking BX Ranchlands. A stunning view of the ranchlands can be seen from the property where a long trail weaves through the park and is accessible right next door.

The space

Very quiet suite as it sits about 50 meters from our main house. Fully stocked kitchen and cozy living room with a smart tv including Netflix, several channels on cable tv with extra movie channels as well

Lovely comfortable queen bed with a half wall for privacy from the living room and kitchen area. Located next to the bedroom is a walk in closet with shelves, storage and a washer and dryer.

There is a small patio overlooking some grass and a large old willow tree. There is a large greenhouse situated in front of the suite with a lovely seating area if the weather turns grey. Listen for Great Horn Owls and Coyotes in the evening and keep an eye out for Blue Herons and Hawks hunting for their lunch.

The back of our property is used as a small garden space just
steps away from the cottage. We tend to the garden but only in busy garden season. The rest of the time we are barley at the back of the property. No pets please. No smoking.

Come enjoy a peaceful and unique getaway. Perfect location to enjoy the lakes and mountains in the summer months, and snow & winter sports during winter months. The space
With the location right off of Silver Star rd, you are only 10 minutes from the ski hill and Sovereign Lake and 10 minutes from Vernon. Okanagan Lake and Kalamalka Lake are 15-20 minute drive away. Great hiking trails including BX falls are less than 10 minute drive away, making this a must stay cabin.

Great local restaurants available up at Silver Star as well as Vernon.

The view from the deck down to the road is all part of the property. Feel free to take a walk and enjoy nature.

The cabin is located on a 5 acre property with about an acre of land below the cabin free for guests to hike around on, enjoying the mountain fresh air. Ample parking available.

Other things to note
This is a quiet family neighbourhood and property. We ask that you are respectful of that and keep noise to a minimum. Excessive noise/parties are forbidden. NO SMOKING, VAPING OR DRUGS allowed on the property, no fireworks are tolerated at all.

Cabin, including loft is around 500 sq feet. There is a covered porch at the entrance, perfect for storing your outdoor equipment out of the elements.

Pet Policy:

Well-behaved pets are welcome at our cabin, pre-approval required. Please note there is an additional $25/night fee - please indicate when booking.

If you are booking our cabin with your furry friend, keep the following things in mind to ensure an enjoyable stay for everyone:

1. We know you love your pet, but we ask that you please don’t let them up onto the furniture, especially the sofa and beds.

2. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please ensure you clean the deck and yard area daily and rinse with water if necessary.

3. Pets must be on a leash outside while on the property at all times.

4. Please do not leave your pet unattended at any time unless safely secured its crate.

The View Point Lodge is your ultimate relaxation destination in Vernon. This 1987 built family log home has been recently renovated with no expense spared. Some of the amenities include: private hot tub, personal cold plunge and barrel sauna. Wake up and enjoy your coffee overlooking swan lake in peaceful tranquility nestled beside the the orchard. This home sleeps 10 comfortably and is open to hosting private events. Weddings, reunions and get togethers will enjoy all this house has to offer.

This home has been beautifully designed with all space being maximized. The upstairs loft is set up with two beds; 1 queen and 1 double to accommodate sleeping 4. This would be a great space for kids sleepovers or extra event guests!

Upon entering the property, you will walk into the entry way and living/kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your morning coffee or hosting some friends for dinner.

The main floor also has the master bedroom fit with King bed. The master bath has a full shower/bath rub and separate toilet area.

The downstairs is fully equipped for your party guests or teenagers looking to have some fun! Downstairs you will find a lovely living area equipped with massage chair for ultimate relaxation, a second full kitchen, a foosball table, an arcade game and dart board!

You will also find a bedroom downstairs with a double/single bunk and another double bed. The bathroom downstairs is fully stocked with beautiful tiled shower with rain shower head and separate toilet area.

The exterior is a relaxation paradise and no expense spared! The hot tub and cold plunge combo with allow you to test your mind against the cold all while knowing you can warm up with the hot tub. There is also a barrel sauna around the corner for serious detoxification (I suggest sauna to cold plunge!)
