Adorable dog-friendly beach cabin (2 dog max) located blocks from downtown Ocean Shores and the Copalis Beach approach. 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a full kitchen. New furniture and appliances. Fully fenced back yard includes a deck, clam cleaning sink, propane BBQ, propane burner and pot for cooking seafood, and propane fire pit. In addition, we have a wood burning fire pit for seasonal use. Free parking for up to 2 vehicles on the property. No camper trailers or tent camping.

Living room includes comfortable seating for up to 6, board games and puzzles, electric fireplace, throw pillows and blankets, and a television with basic cable, DVD player, and additional streaming services.

Bathrooms include 2 rolls of toilet paper, towels, washcloths, hand towels, bathmats, makeup removing cloths, cotton balls, Q-Tips, soaps, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note: the towels provided in our bathrooms should not ever be removed from the home or used outdoors at any time. Towels that can be used for outdoor fun or to dry wet dogs or kids after playing outside are located in the closet in the kitchen.

Well equipped kitchen includes pans for cooking, utensils, dishes, blender, slow cooker, food processor, coffee pot maker and Keurig, spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, sugar, powdered creamer, dog dishes, and dog treats. Please note: we work very hard to make sure our guests feel at home and have what they need while they are staying with us. This includes plenty of coffee, tea, spices, and cleaning supplies. Additionally, we live here when we are not renting so we can help our elderly family members in the area. To keep this a good experience for everyone, please do not remove items provided for guest use from the property when you leave.

Beds are made with cotton sheets, a heavy blanket, and a coverlet. Each bed is made with 4 pillows of various levels of firmness for your comfort.

We welcome guest who are here for clam digging, crabbing, and fishing. We provide a seafood cleaning sink and a propane burner and pot in our fully fenced backyard for guest use. We require that all cleaning and boiling of your "catch" is done in this space to avoid damage or smell inside the home. The smell of seafood is very hard to get rid of and many guests find it offensive. Ignoring this requirement may result in additional charges assessed by the cleaning company or the homeowners to cover the costs of additional cleaning or damages.

- "The house was super clean had great amenities and just a short walk out to the ocean." - "My cousin and I live around the Seattle area - we wanted to take our sons and dogs to the ocean. Plans changed and we had total 2 adults, 2 dogs, and 1 teenager. We liked how close you are to the beach - we drove there. The facility has everything you need. We were impressed with how thought out the place was. There are extra blankets, heaters in the master bed, air conditioning, washer and dryer, fire pit, outdoor washing station, water hose, and dog bowls (and much more). Overall we were able to cook, manage the dogs, watch some sports, and hit the beach, It was quiet and we felt like we were on vacation - a deer came through and we saw a racoon, The dogs were wore out and so were we. Management was easy - they have a binder and email to guide you along. I would say with it is worth the cost."

“Surf Wood Cabin”

A perfect place to work remotely or have a temporary home base while building your dream home. This one bedroom one bathroom cabin is tucked up in the woods away from the road and is quiet and secluded. There is a deck on each side of the cabin overlooking a small yard with beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas, honey suckle, and many other plants and flowers. The cabin sits on 2 acres of spectacular wooded land so there is plenty of privacy.

The space
NOTICE:

The cabin itself is very nice with a kitchen, living area, full bathroom, and a bedroom. There is a wood stove but please use the wall heaters in each room to keep warm at night. The wood stove needs to be inspected and worked on so please DO NOT use it. However, you are welcome to have a fire in the outdoor fire ring.

The kitchen has all the necessities for your cooking and dining needs. NOTE: The well water has a slight "iron" taste to it. It is recommended that guests supply their own bottled water for drinking and cooking.

The cell phone reception in the area is solid. Bring your own digital entertainment and play/listen/watch on the provided Smart HD TV, DVD player, and Bookshelf Stereo. There is no cable TV, but basic internet is provided for streaming video on the HD TV (i.e., Netfilix, Hulu, etc.). NOTE: You will need your own subscription and credentials for any streaming services.

For guests working remotely, there is a sturdy card table and area rug in the bedroom closet, which can be used to set up a work area. As noted above, basic internet service is provided. If you need a faster connection this can be arranged for an extra fee. Please send me a message for further detail regarding upgraded internet options and prices.

ITEMS TO NOTE:

Please keep all food and grease out of the sink and drain. These are very bad for the septic system. Under the sink is a grease can as well as a trash can and bags.

After using dishes and cookware please empty any leftovers in the trash can and rinse or clean the dishes. There are two dish racks to store the dishes.

Use only the toilet paper provided in the bathroom. To avoid septic problems, please do not flush any other items down the toilet. NO: facial tissue, diapers, disposable wipes, feminine products etc.

The well water has a slight "iron" taste to it. It is recommended that guests supply their own bottled water for drinking and cooking.

There are garbage and recycle cans at the north end of the cabin. Red for recycle and black for trash.

HOST ACCESS:

I have a shop and shed toward the back of the property where I spend time. There is a good amount of space between the shop and cabin buffered by trees. I don't think you will even notice when I'm back there. Occasionally I will need to do things such as mow the yard, clean the gutters etc., but I will always notify you when I will be doing anything around the cabin.

SECURITY CAMERS:

There are two outdoor Security Cameras near the cabin. One is pointed at the parking space/deck stairs and the other is on the back of the cabin to monitor rainwater drainage.

Restaurants, bars, and activities in Ocean Shores are a 5-minute drive or 10-minute bike ride.

The lofted bedroom upstairs is open to maximize your views of the Grand Canal from bed. There are 2 queen beds in the space for up to 4 guests to sleep.

We love pets, please let the host know if a pet will be joining the stay. Maximum one pet per stay is allowed - see our pet policy for more info.

The Saltbox was originally built back in 1940, but given a full face lift for its new adventure! Our cottage is dog friendly and located between Ocean Shores and Seabrook, about a 15 minute drive to each. Whether you're looking to enjoy the sound of the ocean from the balcony, a cozy fire down in the pit, game nights with the family, or a quiet space for you and your pups, we hope you'll find it here. The space
*Please note the general layout of our home, as all bedrooms and kitchen space are upstairs.

Layout- On lower level you will find the entry, living room, dog space, and a half bath with washer and dryer. Upstairs is the kitchen, dining, workspace, bedrooms, 3/4 bathroom with shower, and deck access.

Living Room - Encompassing the entire lower level, we've added all the bells and whistles! Sectional sleeper sofa (sheets and pillows in the chaise portion, and boosters in the cubicle), 65" smart TV w/ Netflix, electric fireplace, game table with lots of games, extra bar top seating, over sized tic- tac-toe- and scrabble, plus Big Buck Hunter arcade game! (Please be aware Big Buck Hunter is a hunting simulation game that uses fake guns.)

Kitchen - Located upstairs, fully equipped and open concept! Includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine (w/ pods and instruction book), pots and pans, utensils, and dishes, plus basic condiments/ spices. Lots of counter space for cooking, including island with seating, and access to deck.

Dining Area - Located upstairs with table and benches, and direct access to the kitchen.

Bedrooms - Both rooms are upstairs, and have closet space plus smart TV's with Netflix access. One room has a queen bed, while the other has a double, fresh linens and hangers can be found in closet.

Bathrooms - Primary 3/4 bath with shower is upstairs and fully furnished with towels, shampoo and conditioner, soap, and hair dryer. Half bath is on the main level with washer/ dryer.

Deck - Listen to the ocean as you eat at the picnic style table. Lots of seating and light for evening meals.

Yard - Fire pit with chairs and large green space for hanging out. Dog mess bags provided for your four legged friends.

Loft - Coming Soon, so stay tuned!

Dogs- We are dog friendly for up to two dogs with an extra cleaning fee. Under the stairs you will find a kennel space for you four legged friends with beds and dishes. Dog mess bags provided, we ask that you pick up after your pups, and please do not allow them on the furniture!

Beach Access- The beach is easily accessed by foot through the Surfcrest resort, about a 5 minute walk.

Guest access
You will have access the whole home and property. Your door code will be sent to you a few hours before your check in time, key pad located on the main door on the side of the cottage. Codes are changed for each guest and only works during the duration on your stay. Cell service is not great, so be sure to have your door code handy, and get hooked up to the Wifi right away.

Other things to note
The cottage is located on at the end of a dirt road. There are no street lights so it may be dark if you're arriving in the evening. We have motion lights at the entrance and along the driveway. Surveillance camera facing the driveway.

Please do not allow pets on the furniture, especially the beds!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful fun log cabin. Blocks to the beach. Private fully fenced yard. Equipped with 2 beach cruisers. (Byo helmets) beach toy's, kites, Bbq and fire pit. Lots of outdoor seating on the patio. Fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso esspresso maker, regular coffee pot, pancake griddle, crock pot and crab crackers.
Enjoy the propane fireplace for a cozy night. Bring your med. size pup and leave fido in the secure table dog crate. Come and relax!

The space
A comfortable peaceful log cabin with a private patio. the living room has a leather couch and overstuffed chair with 2 recliners. Get cozy with a nice propane fire. The king size bedroo suite is the most comfortable bed with an additional futon for family.
The other upstairs bedroom has a queen and double bed. downstairs bedroom has a queen bed.
