- "We were welcomed by one of the hosts who explained the setup of the cabin to us and then we were good to go. Every cabin was booked but you couldn't hear anyone next to you. Be prepared for the smell of sulfur when you arrive, the hot springs bring it up. 2 nights here is not enough, you will melt into that tub and never want to leave. The steam room/shower combo is simple and very cool while the overall style of the cabin is thoughtful well put together. I not only recommend this place but I am looking to return to this place."

Nestled on 1 private acre it’s the perfect location to go on adventures throughout the Columbia River Gorge, explore Gifford Pinchot National Forest, or spend the day on the Wind River. The adventures are endless, spend the day hiking, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, mountain climbing, zip-lining, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, rock hounding, gold panning or just kick up your feet and relax. Our cabin is fully remodeled and offers everything you need to make gourmet meals and soothing showers in our walk-in shower. Enjoy playing your favorite tunes on our 1950s Bluetooth radio while relaxing around a campfire in our outdoor area. The driveway is a wrap-around driveway with lots of room for your toy hauler or several vehicles. Welcome to our sanctuary! Our beautiful home is on 5 acres located within Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Set on Cedar Creek and surrounded by natural beauty, this home is forested and private yet only 10 minutes from Carson Hot Springs and Backwoods Brewing in downtown Carson. Waterfalls and many hiking trails within a 25 minute drive. Or just stay home and stargaze. This home is very special to us and we would love to share its beauty with you!

The space
This home has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to enjoy your stay (all the basics, slow cooker, blender, coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, kettle, etc). There are three bedrooms. The bedroom downstairs has a California King bed and the two upstairs have queen beds. Note: one of the bedrooms upstairs is very private but does not have a door separating it from the hallway that leads downstairs. See photos and let us know if you have any questions about this. Smart TV has all apps (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc) so you have full access with your own account in addition to a DVD player with DVDs. The house has a beautiful porch overlooking Cedar Creek and acres of National Forest land. Enjoy the creek and forest views and sounds while BBQing and dining on the porch (seating for 6). There is Wifi at the house although at times it can be slow since it is a secluded property. There is a decommissioned National Forest hiking trail that leads from the property (the trail is unmaintained). This is a kid friendly home with a Pack n Play (with mattress and sheet), and kids toys, books, tableware, and a high chair (upon request).
