The king bed is comfortable and the flower-filled patio with gorgeous views of the river had furniture that made it so wonderful for morning coffee, evening wine (with hummingbirds & deer for company!) and enjoying the stars at night...we loved spending time there! On arrival Libby and Craig had a thoughtful gift basket and cold water and oj in the frig and plenty of great coffee. It was very hot during our stay--Libby and Craig left a cooler for our use in case we were going to explore the river and trails close by. All in all, a great stay and tremendous hosts."

It was well appointed with anything you would need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms….and OMG the beds in all 3 rooms were sooooo comfortable…I’m talking the most comfortable beds of any 5 star home I’ve rented off of VRBO. Close by you will find plenty of things to do from hiking to the Fruit Loop to cute alpaca farms. We loved the Red Bluff Tap House and AJ’s Grocery store had great selections of organic produce, as well as any other items you would need. I highly recommend this house and the surrounding area!"

Lots of room including a 1100 sq foot great room with 15 ft ceiling, entertainment / game room, one car garage - with plenty of extra parking. Unique inner court with open sky views. Large deck with surrounding trees. Two car garage. Big gas fireplace. Internet. Washer and Dryer. Away from the city. Heated polished cement floor and AC. There are also chairs that pull out beds in each room and two pull-out couches in the game room.

Please note:
-The home sits next to the Columbia River which means we're also next to a railroad track. However the railroad sits lower than the house and though it passes a number of times a day, I hardly notice it.
-There is poison oak on the property. It is sprayed multiple times a year. Stay on the defined spots and trails and you shouldn't have any problems.
-While we have a deep two car garage, one of the spaces has our family kayak moving van in it.
- The property extends to the Columbia River. There is a cleared out area to hang out/beach type area. To get there you have to walk across a railroad track so please do so cautiously.

- "We stayed with our adult children, their partners and two grandsons. The accommodations were exactly what we needed. We especially appreciated having bedrooms with an en-suite for everyone. The bedrooms are far enough away from the main spaces and game room that the kids could nap or go to bed early and the adults could still play games or watch movies. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for family meal prepping and eating together. The trains go by multiple times a day which would have been more of an issue if we’d spent more time outside on the deck. The trains are less of an issue when you’re inside. It’s nicely situated between Portland and Hood River but is it at least a 45-minute drive to get to amy attractions. We’d stay here again."
