You will love this Central Oregon location. Ranch Cabin #20 is right off of Circle Four at #20 Ranch Cabin Lane in Sunriver. It is a 20 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor, one of the premier ski resorts in the Northwest. It is also perfect location for a variety of spring, summer and fall activities with access to the 40+ miles of bike paths right in front of the cabin (great for cross-country skiing during Winter) as well as numerous mountain biking and hiking trails in the area. You will have access anytime for six people to the new SHARC facility just minutes from our cabin. There is a huge pool, lazy river and waterslides for the whole family to enjoy, a cafe and beautiful open area. *There is a great tubing hill there summer and winter as well as an additional indoor pool. If you are looking for a quieter swimming experience, the Ranch Cabin complex has it's own lovely pool for your use Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. You are a short walk to the Ranch Cabin Tennis Courts that may be used with your SHARC pass. The Main Lodge and Mall area are a short drive, bike ride or walk away. This smoke-free cabin is next to the bike path but far enough away for much privacy with an open grassy area and open view from the deck. Status of the SHARC swimming pool and other resort recreation can be found on the Sun River Owners' Association's Website (google the name to find on line). Please note: NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

The cabin is very comfortable, clean and very tastefully decorated with cozy furniture. The gas-fireplace works at the switch of a button for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cabin offers air conditioning for those hot summer days. There is a Flat screen 65 inch Smart TV, a DVD player in the living room and free WiFi throughout the cabin. The dining area, off of a well-appointed kitchen, is surrounded by windows and seats six to eight people.

The tastefully-decorated downstairs master bedroom has a king-size bed and full bath.
Upstairs there is a private bedroom with a Queen and Single Bed. On this level, there is also a loft area with a bunk bed. An adorable Sunriver Cabin. This home has lots of charm with natural wood features, wood burning fireplace and an open concept living and dining area. Inside, everyone can spread out between the modern kitchen, cozy living room with a TV, bedrooms and the loft. The dining room has seating for 6 to enjoy a meal whipped up in the well-stocked kitchen.

On the main level you’ll find a bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom. Head upstairs to find a bedroom with two full-sized beds, full bathroom and a loft with a twin over twin bunk bed and smart TV, for additional sleeping space.

While you're here, enjoy a dip in the community pool or hop on one of the bikes and take a leisurely ride around Sunriver or just chill on the deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.

- "Love love love this place. We have a one and three year old and an old dog. They all had so much ease in this space. There was a high chair, baby gate, kids kitchen stuff, washer and dryer. It was so sweet and easy. Grandma came with us and was able to have her own suite downstairs which would also be lovely for a couple. The little boys and papa and I used the full beds upstairs which were conveniently up against the wall so no baby's falling off the bed! We will absolutely rent this clean, cozy cabin again and as our boys get older we look forward to letting them use the bunks beds in the lofted upstairs. I give ten stars for communication. It was effortless and so clear, thanks to Bennington property management. The email and text correspondence was so easy from the moment we booked via Vrbo. We also used the bikes that came with the house and rented a trailer in town for the toddlers and it was so fun! I will say the photos make it look dark and a little uninviting but it feels perfectly light and bright at certain hours and is well curated and designed. Enjoy!"

- "Our family of 4 stayed at the Three Sisters cabin for our first visit to Sunriver after New Years. It won't be our last visit for sure! We had a wonderful time and our elementary age kids are already begging to come back and stay at the cabin again! The location is a very convenient walking distance to the village. We found the cabin to be a charming space to stay for our family - really comfortable, super clean, and filled with sweet touches like a cute coffee station, a game/puzzle/book shelf (which we enjoyed as a family), and a wood burning fireplace (with some wood provided to get us started). Comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. We cooked all our meals in and had everything we needed. Also the management company was communicative and friendly, and the instructions were clear. We enjoyed ice skating and sledding. The kids also loved using the provided guest passes so we could go swimming at the cool indoor pool with a whirlpool and water volleyball! We hear summer in Sunriver is amazing, but we loved our winter trip with snow and outdoor fun at our fingertips. Our goal was to spend quality time as a family and enjoy Sunriver, and our stay at the cabin made this a very happy family trip. My cabin is 5 minutes to the Sunriver Village, Brewery, restaurants, stores, gas station, and a short 20 minutes to Mt Bachelor ski resort. My place offers a cozy quiet retreat for guests. Cozy A frame cabin set in a quiet neighborhood among the pine trees just a short walk from the Deschutes River. The Black Duck Cabin is a perfect destination for all of Central Oregon's amazing activities. 10 minute drive to Sunriver Village, 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor, 30 minutes to Downtown Bend, 10 minute walk to the Deschutes River, golfing, fishing, hiking, shopping, mountain biking, all a short drive. If you're looking for a rustic, cabin experience this is the place for you!
When you walk in the front door of our cabin you'll find a cozy living space. The lower level is a great place to relax, play games, read a book, eat and drink, all while being close to family and friends. There is a comfy oversized couch with a pull out bed and a beautiful leather chair right next to the wood burning stove. In the corner of the same room is our breakfast/dining nook with seating for 4 and then 2 bar stools at the counter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal while being close to family and friends. There is a drip coffee maker as well as a french press. Down the short hallway is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, 43 inch smart TV, phone/device chargers, and a closet. The small but functional bathroom is across the hall, stocked with towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, and blow dryer. The shower has hot water and good water pressure but it is small. From the main living space there are stairs that lead to the loft. Due to the A frame construction the stairs are a little steeper than normal. Once upstairs you'll find a full size bed, twin size bed, night stand, phone chargers, and luggage racks. There is a sliding door that leads to the balcony that overlooks the backyard. The backyard is fully fenced in and includes a jacuzzi and a fire pit with seating around it. There is also a shed with 2 full size kayaks and one inflatable kayak(for kids). The front porch is my favorite place. It has two rocking chairs that look out into the beautiful trees. Please know the cabin has original hardwood floors and was built in the early 1980's. It is meant to be cozy and rustic.
While staying at the Black Duck Cabin you will have access to the entire 1/2 acre property. It includes the cabin itself and the detached 2 car garage. The garage door openers will be left on the counter (Please don't forget to leave them when you checkout). Please park in the garage if you would like. The property also comes with river access. If you go to the end of the driveway and turn right you will come to a trail head on National Forest land. Take the trails down to the river (10-15 minute walk). It also comes with access to the private marina (boat launch and dock). The placard for your vehicle will be left on the counter as well. Directions to the marina will be in the welcome book.
Please be careful when walking around the edges of the A frame roof. The corners are low and very easy to bump your head on ( I know from experience). It's definitely not expected but if you do use firewood from the porch and from the rack inside could you please replenish it from the stacked wood in the front yard. Again if you're not able to please disregard. We definitely want you to have a great time at the cabin but please no loud parties. We still have not met the neighbor to the left when looking at the street, but from what we've been told he is never there. The neighbor on the right is very friendly, but again please be mindful of their privacy.

The space
The interior of the cabin is warm, clean and cozy. The gorgeous natural pine walls add to the cabin feel. It is a loft with a large bedroom upstairs and a full bathroom including a bath tub.

There is a private bedroom downstairs with its own bathoom. The deck is large and looks out onto trees.

The kitchen is stocked for those that like to cook. We have everything you need including real dishes and glasses.

Guest access
It is a stand alone cabin with a deck and guests have access to the whole place by themselves during their stay.

Other things to note
This cabin is best for four or less people. I charge extra $15/per night extra for a fifth person. There are sleeping bags available to make a bed on the floor for the extra person.

The cabin has a steep set of stairs to the loft where there is a king bed and full bath. It is best for people that are mobile. It is great for a family and the loft is where the parents would sleep .The kids bedroom is right off the living room. You can put the kids to bed early and stay up and still hear them if they need anything. There is a great selection of movies in the cabin.

Cosy two story A-Frame cabin among Ponderosa trees in a quiet residential. 5 minutes drive to Sunriver Village, 16 min. Mt Bachelor, 20 m Bend downtown. Living room has a comfy sectional, a single reclining armchair and TV. My cabin has a well appointed kitchen, laundry room with W/D, a Bathroom/Shower downstairs. A 2 bedrooms upstairs with Queen size bed. There is a powder room/toilet upstairs in the hallway.

The space
The cabin is spacious and will accommodate 4 people comfortably. Cozy living room with wood fire stove (WINTER ONLY) A Mitsubishi ductless HEATING/Cooling system downstairs. (it's not an air-conditioning unit but a cooling system) this will keep a pleasant temperature during the summer months. Air will rise up to bedroom and opening windows at night will bring in the High desert cool air. There are electric Baseboard heat in upstairs bedrooms. As I mentioned, no air conditioning upstairs. TV , NETFLIX , Fast internet.
No window covering except in master bedroom. Full Kitchen well stocked,
Two comfortable bedrooms upstairs with Queen size beds, comforter, cotton sheets. A Toilet powderoom upstairs.

There is a back room downstairs, I call it sunroom and it is facing the backyard. This room would be a place to hang out in the summer month only as there is NO heat there. It can be used as ski/snowboard storage in the winter.
Cabin sits in a residential neighborhood. Neighbors' home are visible but far apart. None of the cabin windows nor neighbors' windows are facing each other. It's a safe neighborhood with great full time neighbors.

Other things to note
Bring your slippers! Keep in mind it is a wooden A-frame cabin with a rustic spirit originally built in the 80s with upgraded features but not a modern built home so it's not perfect! A ductless heat (cooling for the summer months), wood burning stove downstairs that will keep the place toasty during winter.(One LOAD OF WOOD provided, purchase wood at local store 5minutes drive) Stairway steps are narrower compared to a home. It is a A frame! Additional electric baseboard heater in each bedroom. I would recommend to bring your slippers to keep your feet warm and cozy as there is no carpet except on the stairway. My friendly neighborhood features family homes within 100-200 yards from the cabin. I am no isolated and sits in a quiet neighborhood with privacy. There is no window covering in living room 's door and windows. Allowing to view the outside.
During the snow season I will do my best to keep the circular driveway cleared off but be aware that mother nature can be quite surprising and generous with snowfall throughout the night (4x4 vehicle highly recommended in this area)
Garage and wood in woodshed is NOT included in rental. My backyard is open to my guest. Rustic it is! a few chairs and many squirrels.

An adorable Sunriver Cabin. This home has lots of charm with natural wood features, wood burning fireplace and an open concept living and dining area. Inside, everyone can spread out between the modern kitchen, cozy living room with a TV, bedrooms and the loft. The dining room has seating for 6 to enjoy a meal whipped up in the well-stocked kitchen.

On the main level you’ll find a bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom. Head upstairs to find a bedroom with two full-sized beds, full bathroom and a loft with a twin over twin bunk bed and smart TV, for additional sleeping space.

While you're here, enjoy a dip in the community pool, play some pickleball with the 4 provided sets, hop on one of the bikes and take a leisurely ride around Sunriver or just chill on the deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.

Cozy A frame cabin set in a quiet neighborhood among the pine trees just a short walk from the Deschutes River. The Black Duck Cabin is a perfect destination for all of Central Oregon's amazing activities. 10 minute drive to Sunriver Village, 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor, 30 minutes to Downtown Bend, 10 minute walk to the Deschutes River, golfing, fishing, hiking, shopping, mountain biking, all a short drive. If you're looking for a rustic, cabin experience this is the place for you!

The space
When you walk in the front door of our cabin you'll find a cozy living space. The lower level is a great place to relax, play games, read a book, eat and drink, all while being close to family and friends. There is a comfy oversized couch with a pull out bed and a beautiful leather chair right next to the wood burning stove. In the corner of the same room is our breakfast/dining nook with seating for 4 and then 2 bar stools at the counter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal while being close to family and friends. There is a drip coffee maker as well as a french press. Down the short hallway is the master bedroom with a queen size bed, 43 inch smart TV, phone/device chargers, and a closet. The small but functional bathroom is across the hall, stocked with towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, and blow dryer. The shower has hot water and good water pressure but it is small. From the main living space there are stairs that lead to the loft. Due to the A frame construction the stairs are a little steeper than normal. Once upstairs you'll find a full size bed, twin size bed, night stand, phone chargers, and luggage racks. There is a sliding door that leads to the balcony that overlooks the backyard. The backyard is fully fenced in and includes a jacuzzi and a fire pit with seating around it. There is also a detached 2 car garage with 2 full size kayaks and one inflatable kayak(for kids). The front porch is my favorite place. It has three rocking chairs that look out into the beautiful trees. Please know the cabin has original hardwood floors and was built in the early 1980's. It is meant to be cozy and rustic.

Guest access
While staying at the Black Duck Cabin you will have access to the entire 1/2 acre property. It includes the cabin itself and the detached 2 car garage. The garage door openers will be left on the counter (Please don't forget to leave them when you checkout). Please park in the garage if you would like. The property also comes with river access. If you go to the end of the driveway and turn right you will come to a trail head on National Forest land. Take the trails down to the river (10-15 minute walk). It also comes with access to the private marina (boat launch and dock). The placard for your vehicle will be left on the counter as well. Directions to the marina will be in the welcome book.

Other things to note
Please be careful when walking around the edges of the A frame roof. The corners are low and very easy to bump your head on ( I know from experience). It's definitely not expected but if you do use firewood from the porch and from the rack inside could you please replenish it from the stacked wood in the front yard. Again if you're not able to please disregard. We definitely want you to have a great time at the cabin but please no loud parties.

The space
This charming 3 bedroom Sunriver vacation home has everything you'll need to enjoy a great stay. With its prime location you are just a short walk to the SHARC or an easy bike ride to the Village shops.

The living room invites you in with a gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings and knotty pine to complete that cozy cabin feeling. The adjacent dining room seats 6-8 guests, with extra barstool seating at the kitchen island.

On the main level you'll find 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed and private deck access. A full bathroom completes this level.

Head upstairs to find the third bedroom with 2 double beds and a twin trundle bed. The loft has a sofa, a TV/DVD player and a collection of board games and puzzles. The second full bathroom is located here with a shower over tub configuration.

The fully-enclosed outside deck has a gas BBQ, peaceful forest views during the day and amazing stargazing at night.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE, PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: The upstairs loft area has half-height walls that look down to the first floor, as well as a built in ladder to the locked crows nest. The ladder is blocked by a baby gate but will not stop a curious climber. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times in the loft area for their safety. SUMMER GUESTS: Our home is in a natural setting, and like other properties here, we have discovered a bat’s nest in the exterior siding of the house. Rest assured, the bats have no entry points into the living areas of the house. But bats are a protected species under Oregon law, which means their humane removal can only occur during specific times of the year, outside of their maternity season (June 1st - August 30th). Bats are also a welcome species in this area since they are nature’s best pest control! They can eat hundreds of insects a night and they keep our mosquito population in check. What this means for you, other than fewer bug bites: From the upstairs bedroom, you may hear the faint sound of the bats emerging or returning at dusk or dawn.

Our home is a peaceful retreat. We do not permit parties, loud gatherings or illegal activities, including underage drinking.

Overlooking the Deschutes River, 55905 Wood Duck Drive is a spacious two level home located approximately 7 miles South of Sunriver is your key to relaxation. Launch your canoe or kayak directly from the back yard and float down to Harpers Bridge. Enjoy a book down by the River, or fly fish off the bank. The views of this home are spectacular and breathtaking.

The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a cozy gas fireplace to warm up to on chilly nights. The large windows offer a stunning view of the surrounding Deschutes woods and water, additionally the plush seating is perfect for cuddling up with a good book or movie.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to prep meals and has modern appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. The ample counter space makes it easy for family and friends to gather around. The dining table seats six people comfortably, with water front views.

There are three bedrooms at Wood Duck 5, each with a comfortable beds and fresh linens. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the other two bedrooms have a queen bed. The cabin has two bathrooms, one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. Both bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and basic toiletries, so you don't have to worry about packing your own. This cabin does not have air conditioning and will provide box fans in the bedrooms. Wood Duck 5 is not pet friendly home and will not allow pets on the property.

The space
New listing and newly renovated in late 2024, early 2025! Located on a private loop in central Sunriver, this home is fully equipped and a quick drive or bike ride to all that the area has to offer.

Bedrooms:
Bedrooms have nightstands, lamps, power cords for charging, plug-in fans, air purifiers, extra pillows, luggage racks, laundry baskets, large closets with hangers, empty dressers for your clothes and extra blankets.

Bedroom 1 - Primary King Suite with log frame bed. Taking up the entire second floor, this room has a private full bathroom, large walk-in closet, living space with couch and smart TV, side room for reading or children's sleeping area and a private balcony area with sectional couch. A truly unique and large space for a bedroom!

Bedroom 2 - Queen bed with log bed frame. This bedroom shares the large bathroom with the third room.

Bedroom 3 - Queen bed with log bed frame. This room is similar to Bedroom 2 in size but also includes a staircase up to a loft for either extra bedding or a workspace. The loft has a twin mattress on the floor and a desk area for working away from the main living space.

2 Bathrooms - One with a walk-in shower and the other with a tub and shower combo, both bathrooms are fully equipped with everything you need - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand soap, washcloths, hand towels and a hair dryer. The downstairs bathroom has the laundry closet as well with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided.

Kitchen - Fully equipped! Large fridge, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen island with 3 large barstools, pantry cabinet, coffee maker, digital kettle, assortment of coffee and tea, toaster, blender, plenty of pots/pans/cups/dishes/wine glasses/spices/olive oil/salt+pepper. Lots of other kitchen gadgets as well.

Dining Area - Beautiful dark wood dining table with 4 chairs, right off the kitchen.

Living Area - Leather couch and chair, along with a leather recliner for seating and a brand new 65" smart TV with all the streaming options. The back wall is very unique and made of volcanic rock, where the fireplace is located.

Garage Area - Fully renovated with new flooring and converted into a flex living space, with tons of sport equipment, games and kids toys. There are 4 adult bikes, basketballs, pickleball paddles, football, tennis balls, yoga mat, jump rope, exercise ball and elastic bands.

Back Deck and Side Patio Areas - Very private hot tub (maintained and cleaned between every guest), large BBQ Grill, two wicker and cushioned lounge chairs, high top bar table and metal outdoor dining table with 4 chairs and cushions.

In addition the deck, there is a large natural space behind the home perfect for yard games or to let the kids run around. The side of the home has the outdoor garbage bins and extra firewood.

Beautiful log cabin with pond, Mt. Bachelor view and two hundred acres of blm land behind. 12 minutes to Sunriver and 20 miles from Bend. Gateway to Paulina and East lake and the Cascade Lakes. 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor ski area. Has a horseshoe pit, golf chipping area and an outside fire pit. Easy access off highway 97. Occasional eagle sightings and train whistle. I also provide a lite breakfast. I live in a studio attached to the property with my own entrance.

The space
These cabins are the original cabins in Sunriver. They were built in the 1960's. The interior walls are pine and have lofts so they have a traditional cabin feel for a special ambiance.

You will walk into the living area from the deck. There is a primary bedroom with a king bed downstairs. That bedroom has it's own bathroom. There is also a washer and dryer down stairs.

Up the stairs in another bedroom with 4 beds in it (two bunk beds). There is a full bath upstairs too.

The is an additional loft space that is open to the downstiars. This can be another bedroom or an additional seating area. This is the TV room/game room if not used as an additional sleeping space.

Guest access
The entire cabin is yours. The only thing that I ask that you do not use is the fireplace.

PLEASE NOTE regarding dogs:
Upon Host's discretion and in agreement with below requirements, guests may be permitted to bring 1 or 2 well-behaved dogs with a non-refundable one time fee. Please send request to bring dog/s at the time of booking. Guests must clean up after their dogs at all times, and be able to keep dogs off of furniture/beds and out of the hot tub (dog hair will clog the filter and result in extra guest charges). Dogs cannot be left unattended in house unless kenneled. Any dog related damages must be communicated to Host as soon as possible.

The cabin can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests at any given time.

The Carefree Cabin is a two level cabin with vaulted wood ceilings and large skylights. It has an open floor plan with a modern kitchen w/attached dining room, and an inviting living room with a gas fireplace and hearth. It’s a great home for guests of all ages and stages.

Here you will find everything you will need for a relaxing, fun, & comfortable stay. The cabin boasts 5 bikes, new mattresses, linens, and bath and pool towels, a well stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, cooking spices, automatic drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, French press, electric hot water kettle, salad spinner, colanders, pots/skillets, baking sheets, muffin/cake tins, blender, toaster, wine glasses, and children’s dinnerware and cutlery.

After a fun day of play, enjoy an evening under the stars in the hot tub. The Carefree Cabin has 3 flat screen TVs - each with its own Chromecast plus high speed wifi for your streaming & video-call enjoyment. Enjoy a selection of board games for the entire family.

For the little ones, there are 2 retractable safety gates available, a Pack'n'Play, a high chair, an infant/toddler tub, an Osprey baby hiking backpack, a BOB jogger stroller with rain cover, and an anti-slip tub mat along with books, games, toys, and children's dinnerware. Children will delight in our fun teepee fort found in the corner of one of the upstairs bedrooms.

The Carefree Cabin has air conditioning & heating.

Guests may access all rooms/deck, and may use the garage for storage of non-vehicle items such as luggage, ski's, tubes, bikes, etc.

SHARC PASSES
All reservations at the Carefree Cabin include 8 SHARC passes for use from 4pm on check-in day through 11am on check-out day. Lost passes must be replaced at guest's expense (current replacement cost is $85 per pass).

DRIVEWAY
The driveway can accommodate approximately 3 cars which must fit entirely on the pavement. RVs, boats, trailers, snowmobiles, etc (any non-passenger vehicle) can be kept in the driveway for up to 48 hrs max. This is an HOA rule that is enforced strictly. For storage needs beyond 48 hrs, there is a nearby storage lot for short term use at a daily rate. Inquire with host for details.
