A nice private deck off the living room and full access to the grounds with beach access to the river front. Fire pits and wood available next to river front. Propane BBQs available for use in our courtyard area.

We have a very private location for our 5 cabins on our 1.5 acre lot. Our neighbors to each side of us are very private and also have big lots that give everyone a ton of privacy. The riffle adds the water sound that makes the space a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. You feel like you are way out on the countryside but are actually 5 minutes from downtown shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

We have a nice private off the street parking lot. Easy 5 minute drive to all attractions and shopping.

History:
The mountains around the ranch were once the location of a large gold mining operation, the evidence of which still exists in the form of our two manmade lakes and abandoned mine shafts. Many years after the miners had left the area, Cascade Mountain Ranch was purchased and established as a boys ranch.
Over the years the mountain lodges were expanded to accommodate the growing number of boys living there. You'll notice some "quirky" designs, such as our double bathroom which has two showers and two toilets (don't worry, bathroom buddies aren't required).
Today, Cascade Mountain Ranch is run by the non-profit organization ICare, Inc. So you can enjoy your stay and feel good knowing you are helping a good cause!

With mountain views, stunning sunsets and a private wooded environment, it’s the perfect place to get away. Relax, read a good book, take a soak in the hot tub located just steps outside the master suite. The Cozy Cabin is filled with thoughtful touches, from throw blankets to high quality linens and towels, selected to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

The space
Our cabin is approximately 1,200 square feet. Equipped with central heat and air conditioning. There is a wood stove available for use during the winter season. The living room is open plan, with a 50" smart TV, comfortable seating, including two massage chairs, and a love seat. You'll cozy right in and never want to leave.

Our kitchen is a great place to cook, including updated appliances, a granite countertop, wooden hand made island, and every-day kitchen utensils. We have included coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as some of the necessary basic condiments to make your stay as accommodating as possible.

Our cabin includes its own private outdoor deck off of the living area with a gas grill. An ideal place to grill your favorite meals, sit, relax, and watch the gorgeous sunsets take place on clear evenings.

The cabin features a generously sized master suite with a handcrafted deluxe king sized bed, and on-suite master bathroom, complete with soft towels, shampoo, body wash and conditioner.
The private hot tub is accessible for guests, just steps away through the French doors off the master suite.

There is a car port attached to the side of the cabin, guests are welcome to use. We offer space for an RV, but does not include hookups. Please check in with us before arriving, to ensure you park in the best and most convenient spot for any over sized vehicle.

Guests are welcomed to walk around the property. May use the gazebo, sit down by the pond, and visit the tree house. But please no over night sleeping in either.
During blueberry season (June-August) guests may come to our U-pick blueberry farm. The days/ hours open apply to guests staying in the Cabin as well as members of the public. If you wish to pick berries outside of these times, we ask you contact the owners for their permission first. The horses in the barn belong to our neighbors. We appreciate your respect to not go onto their property or touch/ feed the horses. Thank you. :)

Other things to note
In order to book our Cozy Cabin, we are asking for a minimum of a two night stay at the moment.

In addition to our usual extremely thorough cleaning regiment, we are taking these extra precautions during this time:

-We have purchased a commercial Ozone generator unit and will be running it after each guest departs in order to kill any airborne or surface bacteria.
-We are then taking extra time to sanitize all usable surfaces including remote controls, handles, door knobs, and all kitchen appliances using rubber gloves.

We ask that any guests with even the slightest hint of a cold and/or flu-like symptoms similar to COVID-19 cancels their reservation and will be given a full refund.

There are two golden doodles named Copper and Maddi who live at the main house on the property. They are very friendly and may be heard from time to time.

While staying here the cottage will be your own oasis with your outdoor bath tubs & propane fire-pit located on your personal front porch attached to the cottage. Shared wood fire-pit, movie projector, small pool & seating area located on the property for you and the other guest houses on the property.

In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cabins are equipped with 5 exterior cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior and there are no cameras on the inside or in the hot tub/bathtubs areas.

I try very hard to present a quality product for a fair price and I believe I do that quite well plus I do everything within my abilities to make sure you happy and comfortable. POWER OUTAGES – Do to high temperatures in the summer time, power outages outside of our control rarely happen but are a possibility. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute. check for power outage updates on pacific power website.

The Whispering Creek Cottage is perfectly located near the Rogue River and easy access to I5 freeway only 3 minutes away. Escape from the daily grind and retreat to this peaceful place.

The space
The cottage boasts a large living room that is open to dining area and kitchen. Beautiful views of the seasonal creek and mountains. Furnished with a couch and comfy chairs, this will be the perfect place year round to read, play a board game, listen to music and relax! All guests can eat together in the open kitchen and dining area. You can also enjoy all the seating on the deck and watch the wildlife like deer and turkeys that frequents the forest. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedrooms have a queen in one and a double in the other. The third bedroom has another queen. There is a futon in the front room. The cabin is just under 1,900 sqft. Outside of the cottage you can enjoy: watching nature from the decks, hiking, or playing corn hole. Whether you are spending time inside or out, there is something for the whole group to enjoy.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage and acreage. Owners closet is locked for safekeeping.

Other things to note
AC/ HEATER
Please turn off thermostat when you are not at the cottage. Please ensure doors and windows closed when air conditioner or heat is on.

We do provide a gas barbecue located on the deck. In the unlikely event you run out of propane you can have the existing tank filled at the gas station a few minutes from the cabin.

CAUTION: There may be poison oak and wasps at the property. House is in the forest and there may be bugs present.

We offer early check-in and late check out when we do not have another reservation checking in or out that same day you can check in as early as 12 PM and check out as late as 2 PM for an additional $35 each. please request early check-in late check out within 24 hours of your check-in date so we can check our most up-to-date calendar to see if we can accommodate your request.
If you would like to guarantee an early check-in and late check out we can block the day before and after for $60

The space
This is the perfect setting for a retreat. Take a moment to soak in the forest views, listen to the crickets, play some music, or skinny dip in the hot tub. At The Epic A there is room to roam, time to listen, time to cook, and time to play. Roku Smart TV with a Nintendo Wii with MarioKart provided for family-friendly fun. Guest access
You will have access to the entire home and the entire acre of property on which the A-frame is located. The cleaning closet will be locked but laundry facilities are open and available.

Other things to note
Please use the paved driveway and access the front door up the stairs through the carport. You may use the upper gravel driveway if needed but it is more difficult to turn around and safely exit onto the street.

In the colder months, the home is heated primarily using a wood stove. The bedrooms have mini split heaters but wood and fire starting supplies are provided for a cozy atmosphere. More instructions are available in the welcome book.

The lodge is nestled on the banks of the Rogue River. Famous for its exceptional fishing, it’s cherished by celebrities, politicians, writers, artists, and rumors of Teddy Roosevelt as he fished the Rogue River

The space
With its warm, inviting atmosphere, Finley Lodge is the perfect place to relax and reconnect. Spend your days enjoying quiet moments by the fire or exploring the beauty of the surrounding area. Evenings at the lodge are made for quiet dinners and shared stories under the stars.
Finley Lodge is a historic fishing cabin, nestled along the Rogue River. The original cabin was built in the 1800s, with the most recent additions being added in the 1960s. Also, there are many stairs here. Inside and out, please keep that in mind when booking.
The lodge is cozy, space, with little hidden gems. A perfect place to get cozy with a good book, or to star gaze on the deck, or to fish from the banks
Please keep in mind that Finley Lodge will have the idiosyncrasies of a rustic cabin in the woods.
The loft bedroom has a very narrow, steep set of stairs and overlooks the bar area

Guest access
Guests have the private and exclusive use of the entire lodge. We respect your privacy, it is a key lock entry system with self-check-in and check out.

Other things to note
Please take into consideration that there are a lot of stairs at Finley Lodge. The river is accessible by a footpath that is somewhat narrow and steep in places.
Please note that Finley Lodge is on the wild and scenic portion of the Rogue River.

This is historically old lodge in the forest. There will be a few bugs, and abundant wildlife . We do not use pesticide, but we our best to keep the bugs outside where they belong, but you will encounter a few.

Some, like BoxElder bugs love the sunny windows, and you may see some around, but they are harmless.
