Lounge by the heated saline pool, feed the geese, go shopping, or head to any of our amazing local restaurants. I'm in the city limits. It's my slice of heaven and I'm sharing it with you.. THE SALTWATER POOL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.

Eight miles from downtown Grants Pass off the Redwood Highway (199), the property is close enough to town, but far enough to enjoy the solitude of nature. The guest studio features a queen size bed with premium mattress and linens, comfortable sofa, kitchenette, Roku TV and WIFI. Located above the garage, the recently remodeled studio has an open floor plan and comfortably fits two people. A queen size air mattress and extra linens are available for a third person. Well-behaved pets and children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times.

The kitchenette is stocked with plates, utensils, coffee, tea, and basic condiments. The unit stays comfortably cool in summer with a ceiling fan and portable air conditioner. A wall heater and extra blankets keep guests warm during the winter. A washer, dryer and detergent are available to guests in the garage.

My home is located across from the studio with a fenced garden in between. Besides myself, my two large friendly dogs (Rumi & Charlie), two kitties (Cali & Snippet), and a small flock of chickens reside on the 2.5 acre property. There is no cleaning fee and extra care is taken to ensure a clean, fresh, and comfortable space for guests. The listing is new to VRBO, but I am a superhost on another platform.

The studio was once an artist’s loft to a major Lucasfilm creative. A large deck overlooks the seasonal (generally full late fall through early spring) pond with a stone bridge frequented by deer, geese, turkey and other wildlife. Great stopover for those on a road trip. If you're looking a little peace, quiet, and a good night's rest, this is the place.

Welcome to our Rogue River Retreat. This newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath upstairs apartment has gorgeous Rogue River views from the main living area, a bedroom and the large (29 foot x 11 foot) deck! Enjoy the river view while preparing food in a fully stocked kitchenette, while having dinner at the dining table or while having breakfast on the deck. You can watch TV and/or enjoy the electric fireplace from the couches at the same time that you enjoy the view of the river!

Enjoy watching a pair of ospreys dive and catch fish, geese swimming with their goslings, or the occasional raft or boat on the river. Go outside and spend your time in the yard at the picnic table or go fishing from the river bank in your backyard!

Peaceful property is located at end of private drive, yet minutes from Grants Pass, hospital, restaurants and supermarket.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave oven, toaster-oven, double sink and portable duel induction cooktop. Ductless HVAC system provides heat and air conditioning to the main room and to each bedroom that is controlled individually.

- "We loved our stay at the Loft Unit 115 (a complimentary upgrade from Helene). It is a very spacious, tastefully decorated, two-bedroom apartment with large open kitchen and living room area. The large bathroom has two sinks, plenty of beautiful white towels, and the owner thoughtfully provides Aveda shampoo and conditioner as well as Gilchrist and Soames soaps. The beds/pillows are comfortable and the linens are very nice. The two bedrooms are both open to a large central hall, so it wouldn't be a great place for two couples; perfect for a couple with a child. It was perfect for us. It is very centrally located. We walked to shops and restaurants and to the setting-off point for the Jet Boat Excursions. A short (50 minutes) drive takes you to Caves National Monument. Another short drive (30 minutes) takes you out into the beautiful Applegate Valley with its many wineries and tasting rooms. As for the restaurants, we highly recommend the Twisted Cork, which is by far the best restaurant in town and is one block from the apartment. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Grants Pass. Thank you, Helene."

This studio apartment is equipped with all the necessities including an air fryer, blender, keurig, teapot, crockpot, convection microwave oven, stovetop, pots &pans. You can easily throw in a load of laundry and there is an ironing board and iron , plus an outdoor bbq with firepit to watch our beautiful sunsets . Extras include an ice chest ice packs , folding chairs , rafting tubes for rafting the river . Newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bath upstairs apartment has gorgeous Rogue River views from main living area, a bedroom and the large (29 foot x 11 foot) deck! The space
The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave oven, toaster-oven, double sink and portable induction cooktop. Ductless HVAC system provides heat and air conditioning to the main room and to each bedroom that is controlled individually. Streaming TV and wireless internet provided.

Enjoy watching a pair of ospreys dive and catch fish, geese swimming with their goslings, or the occasional raft or boat on the river. Go outside and spend your time in the yard at the picnic table or go fishing from the river bank in your backyard!

Peaceful property is located at end of private drive, yet minutes from Grants Pass, hospital, restaurants and supermarket.

The apartment is located on the downstream side of the main house, and is separated from the main house by a laundry room. Both the main house and the apartment have an access to the laundry room.

This year we have had families that worked from the house using our wifi for videoconferences with no complaints. Lately we have had inquiries whether the wifi would support multiple simultaneous videoconferences, and so have upgraded the service to our house from 100 MB/s to 400 MB/s and installed an ac1750 router, so that all of the rooms, the deck and the covered patio support videoconferencing.

Welcome one and all to DunMovin'. At Riverside on the Rogue you will go to sleep with views of the stars through the skylights and wake up to the Wild and Scenic Rogue just outside your French Doors. Throw a line in and fish from the yard if you like. Lounge by the heated saline pool, feed the geese, go shopping, or head to any of our amazing local restaurants. I'm in the city limits. It's my slice of heaven and I'm sharing it with you.

The space
The main house at DunMovin' was first built in 1946 as a Fishing retreat. Over the years the original owners moved in full time and began to add on to it. After several renovations Riverside on the Rogue emerged. It is separated by a common wall (with no common entrances) from the main house, where I live.

THE HEATED SALTWATER POOL IS OPEN FOR 2025!!!

I'm a big fan of interesting furniture and random things, so Riverside on the Rogue has evolved with a 40s vibe, and yet it does have free Wifi, a vintage workstation, an amazing shower, and a super comfy queen bed. I list it as optimal for 2 people but 8 have stayed here with no issues, especially kids (who are like puppies and can sleep anywhere). I do have a queen and twin size AeroBeds if needed.

Riverside has a vintage inspired full kitchen. Included: a full size electric (glass top) range/oven, a microwave, Instant Pot, Kuerig coffee maker (uses ground coffee or K-cups), blender, and full sized refrigerator. You will notice custom countertops and a vintage standalone chopping block. I supply the pots and pans, cooking utensils, prep bowls, linens, and most every thing you might need to create any meal. I also include some lovely vintage dishes to complete your dining experience.

For those of you who are either visiting or working at any of the medical centers in Southern Oregon, I'm about a 6 minute drive to Three River's Community Hospital. I'm also conveniently located close to Exit 55 (the southern most exit for Grants Pass) and about a 30 minute drive to either Providence or Rogue River Medical Center.

Music Lovers? The Britt is an amazing place with top name performers and outdoor seating. It's a small venue where you can actually see the people you came to see. There are no huge stages or barricades. I'm a huge fan! Often there are several big live music events at the fairgrounds only 20 minutes from my front door. Hmmmm.... sounds like a lot of fun coming this way.

DunMovin' is Rogue River frontage property in the city limits of Grants Pass. Riverside on the Rogue at DunMovin' is river facing and poolside. I do have a second unit (The Cottage at DunMovin’) that is on the other side of the property. You won’t be able to see the other unit from your front porch, but you might run into other guests in common areas like the pool or grounds during your stay.

(Our pool season is typically mid to late April through October.)

Guest access
Guests have access to my private saline pool that is located on the river side of the property. The pool is heated to 82 degrees beginning in April. In the warmer months I don't heat it, since we need a bit of 'refreshment' from the warm air. Guests also have access to the propane BBQ, Traeger smoker, and vintage glass table (seats 6) for outdoor dining. There are several poolside chairs for lounging and a great big water slide for the big kid in all of us. The pool depth ranges from 4 feet to 8 feet. I have several floaties to choose from, as well as a ton of random pool toys. The property is completely fenced with the exception of the lower third that is closest to the Rogue River. I leave this open because I like the rustic look. Guests are welcome to bring their fishing poles and fish from the banks; you will need an Oregon fishing license. Guests are also welcome to swim in the river, kayak, plank, or whatever water activity inspires. My section of the river is very wide and deep, there are riffles above and below my section but they are long way from my section.

Guests also are welcome to use my tandem bike to explore the neighborhood. It's a blast. I also offer two Specialized cruisers for those of you not interested in testing a relationship on a tandem bike. One does have a sweet basket in the front so you could hit the farmers market, or bring your own snacks.

There is no additional charge to use any equipment at DunMovin’.

Please note I have two medium/large sized dogs onsite. The dogs are VERY friendly. They love children most of all. They are not allowed in the unit. Any item left unattended outside Riverside, they may assume is a gift for them. Often they will try to split your unintentional dog offering up between them. They will greet you enthusiastically each and every time you come home. They are suckers for attention.

Also please note there is absolutely no smoking, or vaping, inside Riverside. I am perfectly fine with outdoor smoking, as long as all debris is disposed of appropriately.

Please note that I have a septic system. What this means is that you may not flush any type of ‘flushable wipe’ or sanitary product down the toilet. It WILL clog the system and we will have a unsatisfactory few hours while we work together to unclog the system and likely need the skills of a professional to clear the blockage.
