This is the perfect home away from home. It has EVERYTHING you'll need for your stay. This roomy unit is set up for long or short stay, either way, you'll be comfortable. Recent upgrades are the new granite counter tops and living room set with queen sofa sleeper.

This second floor apartment has just been recently refreshed with paint and carpet and gorgeous granite countertops. It has a private entrance just off a dedicated parking space. The apartment has a private patio with BBQ, table and chairs to enjoy early morning coffee or grill dinner. The apartment is tastefully furnished with everything you'll need for your stay. The kitchen has full size appliances; dishwasher, range, microwave, refrigerator and stacking washer and dryer. A compact rolling table with self store stools provides an eating area. The Monteith District in
Albany is home to many delightful turn of the century homes. Walking down the streets is like a visit to the past. This unit is walking distance to many downtown restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities. We're also located kitty corner from Albany General Hospital, making this an ideal location for traveling medical professionals. Albany is located in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley, home to award winning Oregon wines. We're in very close proximity to many famous vineyards and wineries. And, of course, Oregon State University is just 11 miles away. For those wanting to venture further, the Oregon coast is about an hour and a half, but well worth the drive. The McKenzie River is 40 miles south and has some of the most beautiful scenery ever! We really are in a terrific location, so close to so many of Oregon's riches.

This apartment is just a half block from the bus stop. The Linn Benton Loop Bus makes a loop from Albany to Corvallis and Oregon State University and back several times during the day, stopping at Linn Benton Community College. The schedule changes on weekends. Albany also has several taxi services available and most everything in town is within a ten minute radius.

I really enjoy Airbnb hosting! Because I feel like there's a huge need, I've recently branched out my Airbnb operations to include the traveling professional community. I've put everything in this unit to make your business travel comfortable. But, if you're traveling for leisure, this unit is perfect, too! We are glad to host your pets too (as in dogs 🐶). Anything beyond that — lizards, ferrets, emotional support peacocks — needs a little pre-approval, just so we’re all on the same page. The private elevator provides easy access to all three floors. The first floor is just access to the elevator. The second floor has queen bunk beds in a open bedroom, along with dart board. The main living space is located on the 3rd floor. The master bedroom has a large floor plan, king bed, tv, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has an 8’ pool table and tv. The kitchen and living room are combined with large windows, creating a large space with lots of light. There is a queen Murphy style bed located in the living room. Our place is out in the country on a quiet dead-end road. The mid-valley is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the coziness and the location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

You can enjoy coffee, tea any time day or night. Due to food allergies and restrictions, it is hard to provide a breakfast that fits everyone's needs. Upon request at check-in (just mention you would enjoy a Starter Basket), we will provide a Starter Basket with the essentials: orange juice, some fruit, oatmeal to start your stay with ease.

You will have a newly remodeled daylight basement apartment with its own private entry. Separate bedroom with a firm queen bed. There is a futon that folds down to make a double bed in the living area. Bathroom with a shower. The kitchenette has a Keurig coffee maker with coffee k-cups, toaster, toaster oven, hotplate, hot water pot, microwave, and refrigerator along with dishes and servings for four. There is no stove or bathtub.

Please keep in mind that Dorothy and I live on the floor above the basement apartment. We do our best to be quiet, however, you may hear our footsteps at times. There is a soundproofing door between us which is locked.

There are chairs and a table right outside for your enjoyment.

As our guest, we'll be as available as you like. We enjoy visiting but also know people want to relax and pick their own level of engagement.

To keep the space allergy-safe, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN THE APARTMENT.

Easy access to I-5, Albany, Lebanon, and Corvallis. The College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lebanon is an easy 13 country miles. Albany is a quick 4-mile trip. Less than 4 easy miles to Linn Co. Fairgrounds. The state capital building in Salem is 20 miles. Just 90-minutes from the beach and close to the Cascades for hiking. With lots of activities and festivals, the mid-valley is within a quick drive.

We are 23 miles from OSU and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the campus.

The College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lebanon is an easy 13 country miles. Albany is a quick 4-mile trip. The state capital building in Salem is 20 miles.

The Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway is nearby. Many great bike rides are available passing through scenic farmlands.

We are glad to host your pets too. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you!

We ask for compliance in a few house rules:

•Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come!

•DO NOT allow them into the bedrooms. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets in many locations and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free.

•We encourage you to bring your pets favorite bedding and blankets to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen!

•Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.

•Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you.

•The bathroom tub or showers are for humans only.

•When taking your pet out to the bathroom, please pick up after them. Other guests will greatly appreciate your taking responsibility for this.

The bedroom has a comfortable and luxurious king bed, side tables, chest of drawers, full length mirror, and black out shades.

The large bathroom is adorned with white tile on the floor. It has a comfort height toilet and shower over a full-sized tub. Quality linens, hairdryer, cotton swabs, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided.

This New York Style Loft is a special experience. The loft includes three queen sized beds and a king bed. There is one bathroom and a laundry room.

Our loft is a perfect place for a vacation rental, corporate lodging or an executive suite situation. Please note in order to keep our guests safe we do not allow parties or events.

Located in the heart of downtown Albany it's walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, breweries, the carousel, shopping, Willamette river, and much more!! Centrally located it's only 12 miles to the OSU campus, 45 miles to Eugene and 30 miles to Salem.

Other things to note
Please note that there are 30 stairs to get up to the second floor of the building. There are also stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms of the loft. There are no ramps or elevators available. Also note to protect our guests we do not allow parties or the hosting of events.
