We have our own Water Geyser, out on the large Rock Formation, looking just like the famous "Spouting Horn", located at the Sea Wall in the central business area of Depoe Bay. During high water, up to 5 waterfalls can flow from that rock formation. Of course, the Ocean puts on a VERY SPECIAL SHOW during the Winter months. Especially during the storms!
There are miles of picture-postcard sandy beaches in both directions, within 2 miles both north & south of Depoe Bay.

You should plan your visits to the beach before noon because the northern Trade Winds average about 10+ MPH in the afternoon during the summer months.
We are allowing a 1 Month's notice for a full refund or a 2 weeks notice for a 50% refund. We have added an Ozone Air Purifier. We are taking additional, special care in our cleaning & disinfecting of all the often-touched surfaces such as counters, chairs, door handles, keypads, bathroom & kitchen surfaces, etc. We wash all our laundry with Hot water using "Tide" with bleach. You may consider bringing your own pillows, for your further comfort.
We are centrally located and within easy walking distance to all of Depoe Bay. Our rentals are at least 60' above The Ocean & only 100 yds. from the spectacular rocky shoreline.

There is the 1/4 mile Sea Wall & the main part of town to the South. Enjoy Whale watching, either from your vacation home or with any one of the many fine charter boats docked in the World's smallest natural, navigable harbor. Depoe Bay is located in an oceanfront, deep water, rocky coastline area.

- "Perfect little spot in the bay! Not too big. No issues with parking. In fact, parking is conveniently close to rooms which is great for loading/unloading. Ate at a few local restaurants. All were great. Wing-Wa, Sea Hag, abd the Horn. Went whale watching with tradewinds @ $25 per person for and hour. We stayed for 3 nights/4 days. Only minor issue was lingering pet odor from previous vacationers. Shower pressure was great and consistent. Door locks were fantastic. Very easy check-in /check -out directions. Excellent communication and directions provided. Such a great stay. More than likely will be back."

There are 15 stairs leading up to the private entrance. Parking for one (1) vehicle is off-street next to the apartment. Additional or oversized vehicles will need to use on-street parking. Maximum occupancy is two individuals of any age. Requests for 2 plus an infant/toddler/child will be denied for exceeding maximum occupancy.

There are drawers, but no closets or hangers. Wall hooks are provided for coats.

Guest are required to pay the local Depoe Bay Transient tax of 12% of the reservation via the Airbnb Resolution Center prior to their arrival date. Airbnb does not allow hosts to collect this tax at the time you make your reservation, so it must be paid after you make your reservation. By placing the request to reserve, you agree to pay this tax prior to your arrival date.

Please note that there is absolutely NO smoking, and NO pets or animals are allowed inside the rentals. If animals are found in the apartment, you will be charged an additional $350 cleaning fee and be asked to leave the rental immediately.

Before a booking is accepted you will be asked to confirm that you aren’t bringing any animals and that you have seen the parking picture and understand where to park. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRAVEL ROAD. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE ASSESSED A FEE OF $25

Please note that the walls in the bedroom are a bit dingy and the wallpaper is fading there. Also the bathtub finish is degraded which makes it appear dirty.

Please note that there are other guests in the back part of the house. In particular the staircase is creaky and although it does not pass above your unit you will undoubtedly hear people using it. There are bedrooms above your dining room and your bedroom. The insulation is thin. You will hear other guests but you won’t see them because your space is private

You have access to the hot tub, which is on the back deck. Other guests might use it also.

Your apartment is completely private. No one else can enter it. Please do not pass through the door to the left of the bathroom. It should remain closed at all times unless there is an emergency

Other things to note
The sleeping accommodations are a queen bed in a bedroom with a door and a large L shaped sofa in the living room. The sofa is not a hide a bed or futon. It is over 7 feet long and is flat and reasonably comfortable.

Per ABNBs permission no animals of any kind are allowed at this property due to health concerns of residents who live on site.

Your unit is in an 80 year old house. I remodeled it myself and am happy with the outcome. Having said that maintenance and repairs are needed from time to time. It’s not unforeseen that construction noise might affect your stay. Any noise of this type is limited to the hours of 10am-6pm. If any of this work were to occur in a common area used by you, you would be informed ahead of time. In the unlikely event that an emergency repair were needed in your unit you would be informed ahead of time and compensated. Your privacy is of utmost importance.

The living room has the sleeping nook with the comfy queen bed, TV with cable, DVD player, view of the harbor, double sized sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, and dining table.

Down the short hallway is the half-bathroom with toilet and sink on the left, and then straight ahead to the shower and laundry room, with full size washer and dryer. Guests may use the laundry soap while staying in the apartment. A privacy curtain separates the main living areas from the laundry/shower room, where there is a large, two-person sized walk-in shower. Towels are provided for use inside the apartment. Additional blankets and bedding are also located in this area.

Guests are also treated to a 10% off discount at Carrie's Whale Bites cafe (open limited hours and seasonal) ,unlimited museum admission (open limited hours and seasonal), and get two (2) $5-off whale watching coupons for Whale Watching Eco Excursions with Carrie (Must book separately. POTENTIAL FOR NOISE:
The harbor is outside the front door so guests may hear occasional boating noises, usually only during the day, but can be early morning. Highway 101 can be noisy at times. There are animals in the harbor and outside that also be noisy at any hour. The Whales Bites Cafe is located directly above the apartment so guests may hear early morning noises when the cafe is open. It is only open limited days and times. ***If you are sensitive to early morning noise, we may not be the right choice for you, or please plan according and bring something to help you sleep soundly. ***

ADDITIONAL FEES:
Depoe Bay City charges a local transient tax of 12% that is NOT collected by Airbnb at the time you place your reservation. By requesting a reservation, you are agreeing to make this additional payment through the Airbnb resolution center prior to your arrival date. A request will be emailed to you from Airbnb with a link to complete this payment. We have chosen this method to help keep costs as low as possible for our guest and only charge you exactly what the city charges for the tax.

Off-street parking for one vehicle is next to the apartment, on the north side of the Whale Bites Cafe. Additional or oversized vehicles will need to use on-street parking.

ABSOLUTELY NO PETS OR ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED. If animals are found on the property, a $350 cleaning fee will be imposed and you will be asked to leave immediately.
