It connects to a full bathroom with a shower and basic toiletries. The second bedroom has a very comfortable twin memory foam bed with a kitchenette (not full kitchen) and a dining area. Mini-fridge, microwave, counter-top oven/toaster, electric kettle, and a Keurig for making coffee are all included, along with dishes, glasses, basic food prep-ware, coffee and tea supplies. The bathroom is very roomy and well lit. It is located in main part of the apartment and has a large walk-in shower with porcelain tiles and a marble double vanity. Plush towels, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer and mini soaps are provided for guests.

The kitchen is modern and has lots of counter space and an island for in-kitchen breakfast or meals on comfortable stools. All the appliances are new: 5 burner gas stove with a regular and convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and drawers are fully stocked with all utensils needed for easy cooking or hosting. Small pantry has some start items like: flour, sugar, olive oil, coffee, tea and various cooking spices.

The living room is furnished with warm colors, lots of natural light, artwork and a comfortable sectional couch. A washer and dryer is located in a closet right off the living room area.

Reserved parking spot for 1 vehicle, all other vehicles will have to park on the main roads or in the city parking lot located across the street.

We have a private parking lot, 1 gig/second WiFi, TV w/cable, dishwasher, California king bed, washer/dryer inside the apt, and pretty town views. Fun location close to everything, very spacious, relaxing, and convenient. This apartment is very spacious feeling with a large living room with great town views. There is a full bathroom with a shower over tub and an LG combination washer/dryer. There is a full size gas range, a full size stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, dining table and chairs, a full size 55 inch TV with premium cable, and fast Wi Fi. There is a large private parking lot with motion lighting just for our building. Although the apartment is in a bustling, lively section of town within less than a block of many great restaurants, shops, etc, the bedroom is on the quiet side of the building and has a cal-king bed, and a sitting area to read/relax. Guests have the entire apartment with its own private gate and stairway, a parking lot, and yard. The gates have electronic keypads so the apt and yard are very secure feeling. We respect guests privacy but are always available quickly for guest needs as our home is about 10 blocks away. We are very responsive hosts and always happy to provide recommendations for places to go, restaurants, beaches etc. This is a great location within a block of the town center/Arcata Plaza and less than a block from many great restaurants, shops. Within a block are 7 restaurants, the Arcata Plaza, the Arcata Co-Op grocery store, and countless shops. Once you have parked your car in the private parking lot with motion lighting that is just for our building, you won't need to drive again, everything is within a block or two from this location. We have tankless water heaters for unlimited hot water, rain shower heads, and very strong water pressure so much so many guests comment on how nice the showers are.

- "Space is small but extremely comfortable and has pretty much everything you need. The bed, pillows, sheets and comforter were superb ( a comfortable bed is most important to us). Murphy’s Market is right up the street where we were able to get the groceries we needed. Neighborhood is just okay; but we felt very safe in this space. Price is great with a very attentive Erik, the property manager. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend."

Downtown Arcata Farmers Market Apartment This bright and sunny apartment is a block from the Arcata Plaza, Farmers Market, shopping (across street from Arcata Co-op), and next door to Salt Restaurant and North Story Wines. It has a private parking lot, fast 1 gig/second WiFi, TV w/cable, washer/dryer in unit, lots of sun and pretty town views. Fun location close to everything, very comfortable and convenient, and secure behind key coded gates. This sunny apartment has lots of big windows looking out over town and the co-op which is the natural grocery store less than a block away. The apartment is on the second level and behind a keyed gate so is very secure feeling. The bedroom has a big skylight so is filled with light during the day and its possible to see the stars at night. There is a big leather couch, a table and two chairs, lots of throws/blankets, this apartment just has a great vibe. Guests have access to the whole apartment which includes a washer/dryer inside, yard, and private parking lot. We respect guests privacy but are always available to help quickly with guest needs as our home is only about 10 blocks away. We are very responsive hosts. This apartment is in a beautiful section of town just a block from the Arcata Plaza next door to Salt restaurant, in a very pretty and lively section of town. North Story Winery/Wrangletown Cidery are also next door and sometimes host live music and events. While being right in the middle of everything, the apartment is on the second level and is very secure feeling as it is behind coded/locked gates. The co-op natural food grocery store is less than a block away as are a local pie restaurant, “Bittersweet” , the popular "Campground" restaurant across the street, and many other great restaurants nearby. We have a private parking lot for our guests and everything is within a block or two from the apt. Cal Poly Humboldt is about a 10 minute walk. We have tankless water heaters for unlimited hot water, rain shower heads, and very strong water pressure so much so many guests comment on how nice the showers are. The apartment has a queen bed and a large leather couch that is not a sleeper. We have a travel crib and high chair for those with young children, please message us if needed and we will leave in apt for you.

- "Julia's guest house, which is attached to the owner's actual home, was a very pleasant place to stay especially for someone traveling alone. It was very comfortable and felt very safe. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, off the beaten path but close to everything. Bed was comfortable, shower and hot water were good, kitchenette was cute and did the trick (be sure to note, coffee maker is French press and no microwave, for those who cook almost exclusively with those two appliances.) Most importantly, Host was very attentive and responsive. Nice place!"

You'll be centrally located right by Humboldt Beach and Redwood National and State Parks as well, so it's easy to head out for an adventurous day.

Once you've explored the many sights nearby, come back to your charming studio to find your own personal haven. Unwind on the quaint shared patio with your favorite book and a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. (Please note that because this is a semi-detached studio with the homeowner and a long-term tenant on the grounds, the courtyard is not entirely private.) Then, around sunset, head back inside and stream your favorite movies from the comfort of your bedroom. Slip into a pair of pajamas and get under the covers for a well-deserved good night's rest. Enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet at this lovely studio!

A generous room with every little detail thought through, you will rest easy here and find all the amenities at hand. True, there is no kitchen with this unit (there is a mini-fridge, microwave, small oven and some dishes for your convenience), but why would you miss out on all of the wonderful local food places within just a few blocks? Arcata offers so many wonderful shops, eateries, and places to see; this rental is the perfect place to return to for some rest and relaxation, after a day of Happy Humboldt adventures."

- "Charming quiet town and perfect apartment and location for our landing spot when checking out the Redwoods. Multiple beds made traveling with teens much easier!" - "Location is perfect for us. Parking is an issue, but easily overcome if you have good mobility. My husband is not a walker so it was difficult for him, but I just dropped him off and then parked. Stairs were an issue. Did not expect two large flights of stairs. Luckily, there was living area and a bed room at the top of the first flight."
