- "We spent a week , to be near our son and family about 10 minutes away…worked out well! Very clean, well maintained and responsive, as others have mentioned, street noise a little much, but use white noise on your phone and you should be good… it was cool at night, but not sure the one AC in the kitchen would cool the whole apt down on a hot night!" - "We loved our stay. The apartment was perfect. Very clean. Appliances are very nice. The courtyard is warm and inviting. The owner Linda lives on site and was fantastic. We have family in the area so the location could not have been better. Will be returning"

- "We visited Santa Rosa to explore different wineries in the area. The house was great. The location is quiet, yet close to many restaurants and bars. Location is also convenient for jumping on the highway to drive to vineyards. Being within walking distance to Russian River taproom/restaurant was a huge plus!" - "We had three people stay for a weekend in Santa Rosa. The beds were comfy, the house clean, and the shower fantastic. Just a couple of blocks from downtown made walking to breakfast and coffee each morning a breeze. Allen was easy to communicate with and left a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. Please note: As someone else said, it’s a 1930s house so outlets aren’t always easy access. An Extension cord or two will help greatly. Not a big deal, it’s the charm of VRBO and older houses, just a good FYI."

- "Great old hotel with modern updates. I bit noisy next to highway though. " - "Overall the stay was very nice. The room location was noisy since it faces the road but that information is given on the description. The sound machine provided in the room helps. I would recommend black out curtains for the front windows and something on the large doors that face the private patio."

Retro 1940's style restored vintage 2 bedroom apartment in desirable Proctor Terrace neighborhood, just blocks from downtown. Large private yard/patio. Interior all redone less than 1 year ago. Central to wineries north, south, east and west.
- "Was not familiar with Santa Rosa so just hoped it was in a good neighborhood. It turned out to be in a great area of beautiful, well kept homes. A few things were walkable (a grocery store) but we had a car. Everything went super smooth and the three of us (man, wife, adult daughter) were completely comfortable here. And it was so cute too! It does allow pets so there is a slight dog odor, but we're animal lovers so we didn't mind at all. Only noticed it upon entering, but not after a while."

- "I recently stay at the StoneHouse for an 11 night business trip and had a fantastic stay! Mid stay I requested a refresh on items ( linen, towels etc) and they responded promptly and provided the requested items within a couple of hours. The stay backs into the 12 hwy, I am not a light sleeper and actually need a little noise to sleep, so for me the car noise didn’t bother me one bit! Overall, 5/5!!" - "The location is convenient and the room is quite large and comfortable. I love the stone house, the common areas are super charming, it really feels like a taste of Europe. Had to ding a star though because room 3 is DEFINITELY loud. They say that when and after you book, but a main road is right outside. Traffic all day and night. Could have used some soundproof windows! And any time someone upstairs walks around or flushes the toilet you hear it. Luckily not very busy when I was there, or else activity in the common areas would’ve been pretty disruptive too. Also there seems to be a renovated outside area for the room but the door was screwed shut so I’m not sure how you’re supposed to use it? A little odd to have a hotel feel without anyone there, but all in all a nice stay."
