The cottage is a private Wine Country Guesthouse for two, not attached to the main house. It's easy to get to Santa Rosa's downtown, the Sonoma coast, the Redwoods, the Fairgrounds and many outstanding wineries. There is a kitchenette with a full refrigerator. TV. There is Internet, Heating and Air Conditioning.

The space
This is a private, non-smoking environment meant for comfort and pleasure. The Studio accommodates two people easily. There is a king-sized bed, dining area with table and chairs, and full bathroom. There is a kitchenette with full refrigerator, two-burner gas cooktop, and a microwave. It's located downtown but in natural beauty, minutes away from many wonderful attractions including world-class wineries, excellent and varied restaurants. Internet. No pets are allowed. The gardens have many and varied attractions, depending on whether privacy is needed or not. There are several fruit trees with bird feeders nearby for small birds and hummingbirds. There is a patio with a lovely marble top table for dining or sitting outside. Lounge chairs are located in the yard. There is a small pond with a waterfall to transport you far away.

Guests have a private entrance off of the courtyard by the main house. Guests are free to enjoy the courtyard with a pear and fig tree and a couple of Adirondack chairs and a small table.

In the 167 square foot studio you will find a very comfortable queen size bed. Bedsheets and pillows are provided during your stay. Nightstand has a built in outlet to plug in small appliances next to the bed. There is a dresser with plenty of drawers to store your things. There is also a drawer under the bed for any additional storage.

The studio features a coffee table that doubles as a dining table when lifting the top up. Perfect for enjoying a meal while watching tv or working on a laptop or using as a writing surface. The Television is a smart tv that’s already connected to the Wi-Fi. Guests only need to sign in to their streaming accounts to enjoy Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Kitchenette is stocked with a fridge, microwave, hot plate, and toaster oven.
Plates, cups and silverware are also provided. Coffee machine is a Kurig. Upon check-in, the hosts will provide you with a small selection of teas and coffee pods to get you started for your stay as well as a roll of paper towels. If you are in need of any further groceries, the hosts are more than happy to help stock the kitchen for a small fee in addition to the grocery bill.

Bathroom includes a vanity with a sink and plenty of storage, a shower and a small selection of toiletries and toilet paper for your personal use. Several towels are also provided for you during your stay.

We have street parking for our guests for 1 vehicle. Please park along the sidewalk directly in front of the house. If you would like to have daytime guests during your stay, you are permitted 1 guest per day per the City of Santa Rosa. Quiet times are 9pm to 8am. Outdoor amplified noise is not permitted.

We hope you will enjoy what we have created for your pleasure. At times we may be in the garden or at the BBQ grill and welcome conversation if it is your desire to visit with us. Be assured we are taking extra care to make you feel at home. This place is a great staycation destination. It has fast Wi-Fi and a Roku TV with a comfortable workstation. We have birdfeeders and bird baths on the property. Being adjacent to the green space, you may see wild and domestic roaming animals such as deer and raccoons occasionally cross our property.

You will have full private use of the cottage and full use of the patio area. We may also be in the quiet outside areas at times. We are nestled in the heart of Bennett Valley, between the Pacific Ocean, Calistoga Spas and the Sonoma wine country. You can enjoy beautiful views of Bennett peak, Taylor Mt and Sonoma Ridge from the patio. All three are world famous for their hiking/biking/running trails. We are close to the Sonoma County Airport and the Gratton Rancho Rio casino. Your door code will be delivered to you by message the day before you arrive.

Our city boasts, a vibrant culture with art galleries, music venues and local Farm to table cuisine. The cottage is located around the corner from the Whole Foods shopping center where are you can find Mexican food, Asian food, sandwiches, coffee and donuts, get your haircut. Or buy shoes and your groceries. The cottage is in front of an undisturbed Greenbelt. There is free street parking in front of our house. The Cottage is behind our house through the carport. Walk into the backyard and you will see the Cottage waiting for you ready to lull you to sleep or sit and relax with a glass of wine. Wine tasting, beer drinking, walking, running, biking, boating, paddle boarding, fine dinning, music, fun and festivities are all at your fingertips! Sonoma County offers it all! The Cozy B&B -
The unit is newer, constructed in 1968 on the site of the original horse carriage house. (Point of reference: The Ford Model T was introduced in 1909 -- two years after the main house was built.)

All-new paint, laminate flooring, bathroom remodel, and curtains in October 2013 make for a comfortable, clean and fresh escape. Bonus! -- all-new dual-pane windows as of August 2023. Sweet!

We killed our television years ago. We hope you enjoy a TV-free experience. (Many guests bring laptops for streaming video.) We provide a nice quality AM/FM/BlueTooth radio for your enjoyment. WiFi is light-speed fast fiber.

Guests are afforded exclusive use of a full no-cost laundry room with washer, dryer and set-tub. An iron and ironing board await in the apartment closet, for those crisp wedding dresses and shirts. You'll enjoy a private enclosed patio/garden, and plenty of close by on-street parking. Your private yard is separated from the main house by a 6' fence for privacy.

For stays longer than two nights, we recommend a visit to a local market for breakfast fixings, or eat out at one of the many fine cafes in the neighborhood.

Ours is a 2-bedroom unit, but we don't ding you if you only use one room. Hence our base price is based on 1-2 people, with a $25 per person increase for 3 or more guests. Our rates do not vary by season so you will not get any surprises when you book. Add to that the $50 cleaning fee and the AirBNB fee (up to 12%), and you have your total.

Cleaning during extended stays -

For stays of longer than 7 days, we will enter the apartment to conduct a cleaning and linen change each week. This is not optional and will be coordinated with you for a convenient time.

We have a sweet small studio cottage nestled behind our large home in the small country-like community of Montecito Heights (MH).

The one lane gentle winding roads are canopied with large overhanging trees - you feel far from suburbia.

We are a very short 4 minute car/Uber ride to downtown.

The space
Our property is almost a 1/2 acre.

We have two dogs, one cat, and four free-range chickens.

We are very friendly, as well as quiet and respectful. We mostly keep to ourselves unless asked otherwise.

The studio feels very secluded and private.

We love ALL children but because of our pool we must insist that they are of at least an age where they can be counted on to listen, communicate and have mastered the ability to SWIM like a dolphin, or merman, or mermaid...

ADULT SUPERVISION is mandatory at all times.

We also love animals! However, given our menagerie and our desire to keep the cottage free of allergens we are unable to accommodate pets. (Sorry)

All windows have wooden privacy blinds, but don't worry, you can't see any neighbors, only nature! We've seen deer, grey squirrels, rabbits, red tailed foxes, raccoons, and other critters. It's so quiet that you'll sleep like a rock. In the winter, the creek creates lively water sounds right outside your windows. But year round we have a waterfall for pleasing water sounds. We are close to many wedding venues and Uber works here. Free WiFi, smart TV with Netflicks, Direct TV etc. This space has modern conveniences in a quiet, natural location.

The entire downstairs is for your use. This includes a picnic table in the meadow, or a beautiful deck with comfy chairs and a table. This is a great place to sit and sip with a gorgeous view! We added a BBQ specifically for the Airbnb, and you have your own designated modern, washer and dryer. You're not going to want to leave!!

Other things to note
You might want to stop for groceries before you arrive. There isn't any shopping in the forest! The good news is that there's a Safeway or CalMart 15 minutes away in either direction. There's electric burners, a convection microwave, Ninja airfryer/oven and BBQ. You have all the dishes, glassware, silverware, knives, cutting boards, pots, pans, wine opener, blender and everything you’ll need. There's a refrigerator/freezer, hot water kettle, and Mr. Coffee drip, French press or Keurig coffee makers - (it takes regular k-cups and we provide quite a few.) We have taken the opportunity amid the Covid-19 down time to do a deep cleaning and repaint the entire interior of our guesthouse.
Our guest house that overlooks the pool is cozy, comfortable and spacious.
It is located within minutes of downtown Santa Rosa and a few blocks from a small shopping center. It's within the pleasant surroundings of both Sonoma and Napa Wineries.

Our one bedroom guest house is approximately 725 sq ft. It is located on a one acre property, which is well maintained. It is detached from the main house which affords privacy. It is ideal for two people. It has one bedroom, a luxurious bathroom with large shower and a full kitchen. There is a spacious living room combined with the fully appointed kitchen. The bedroom has a queen size bed with built in closets. Flat screen televisions are located in the living room and in the bedroom. There are combination of wood and tile floors throughout.
There is no on street parking, we have ample parking on our property.

Guests will have access to the swimming pool, gas BBQ grill. We do use our pool with family and it is NOT exclusive to guests only. The Hot Tub is PRIVATE and only for family. There will also be a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. It is heated with a solar blanket during the warm months of the year, USUALLY (depending on Mother Nature) May through early September. The pool is NOT CHILD SAFE. We also have a seasonal summer garden. We also have free range, organic fed chicken eggs upon request. Please don’t be shy about asking us for eggs.

This is a great spot for one or two people looking to get away and have some peace and quiet in the country. 2. IF YOU BOOK ONLY THE DOWNSTAIRS UNIT:
ONLY 2 GUESTS & 1 DAYTIME GUEST.

3.IF YOU BOOK ONLY THE UPSTAIRS UNIT: ONLY 4 GUESTS & 2 DAYTIME GUESTS ALLOWED.

4. The short-term rental shall not be used for any gathering where the number of persons will exceed the permitted maximum number of short-term renters and daytime guests, or if the following parking requirements cannot be met:
a. One off-street parking space per bedroom. Where legal on-street parking is available, one on-street parking space may count toward the minimum number of parking spaces required.
b. If a garage or driveway is used to meet the parking requirement, the garage or driveway must be available to the short-term renter for that purpose.
c. Parking shall not be located in a required front or street side setback except when on a driveway.
d. Parking shall not encroach into the roadway or obstruct emergency lane access or travel. This includes driveways where fire department access is required to come within 150 feet from the furthest point of the structure for firefighting purposes.

5. Events including but not limited to weddings, receptions, and corporate events are prohibited,.

6. Short-Term Rentals must be in compliance with the noise requirements of Santa Rosa Municipal Code Section Chapter 17-16 NOISE, except that quiet hours will be enforced between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am and outdoor amplified sound is strictly prohibited.
7. Outdoor burning shall comply with the following:
a. Outdoor burning at Non-Hosted Short-Term Rentals shall be limited to outdoor firepits, fireplaces, barbeques/grills and heaters that generate an open flame through the use of a single five-gallon cylinder of liquid petroleum gas (LGP) or are fed by natural gas. Such outdoor burning shall not be located within 10 feet of combustible vegetation and overhanging trees limbs.
b. No other outdoor burning shall be permitted at Non-Hosted Short-Term Rentals.
c. Outdoor burning at Hosted Short-Term Rentals shall comply with all requirements of Santa Rosa Municipal Code Chapter 18-44 and the California Fire Code.

The space
Your hosts, Jerry and Bev Stemach, are life-long residents of Northern California. They have lived in wine country for 40 years. They farm petit verdot grapes, a Bordeaux varietal often used as a blending grape. When it comes to winery and restaurant recommendations, guests consistently describe Jerry and Bev as "spot on."

The space
Welcome to Steelhead Creek Vineyards! We came to Sonoma County 15 years ago, planted a vineyard and started making wine. We love it here and this is our home. It's a beautiful place and we enjoy sharing this piece of heaven with you. We tend to our sheep and goats. We work in the vineyard, and we love living here. Come stay with us. Your casita is completely private and you will have access to all the grounds and trails, as well as all the wildlife and birds. You will be welcome here. It's beautiful and quiet, and we love the serenity and peacefulness that you will experience while staying here.

The casita looks out over our vineyards with a lovely shaded back patio. The property is on the side of Saddleback Mountain with spectacular views in all directions. It is almost totally quiet except for the birds, and other wildlife, with sheep and goats on the hillsides in a peaceful setting. However, you are only 10 minutes from grocery stores, wineries and fantastic restaurants. Come enjoy a little bit of Heaven!

Guest access
Enjoy sunsets on the observation deck with views of the valley below and the city lights of Santa Rosa at night. Enjoy walks through the woods and hikes up the hillsides. Or, just sit quietly and read a good book while listening to the sounds of nature. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing, and sure to please! The sun rises in clear view from the patio of your casita. A perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee!

Other things to note
The casita offers a large bedroom with king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom for two (2) guests.

For walks around the property, we recommend wearing sturdy walking shoes or boots. If you plan to walk through the vineyard, you'll need to be prepared for uneven ground and some slightly steep slopes. The ground can be rocky, but the vines love it! We further recommend that you stay on the path, road or trail as you take walks.

Your pooch is welcome for an additional $100/stay/dog, up to 2 dogs.

The guest house has two spacious bedrooms connected by a hallway with a shared bathroom and kitchenette, plus has ample (and then some!) private outdoor space with tremendous views year round.

Please note that the guest house is equipped with a kitchenette, NOT a full kitchen. The kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker - in other words, plenty to prepare quick meals on the go OR give you a great excuse to truly take a break and let our amazing local restaurateurs cater to your every need!

The pool is solar heated and does get cold in the off-season. Be prepared to share it with the Hoffmans. Don't fret though - we hear they are one of the highlights of staying at the Crane Canyon Estate! :)

Located in the historic McDonald District, The Carriage House is the original carriage house to this McDonald Avenue home. Tree-lined streets, historic homes, and great walkability make the McDonald area one of the most-desired neighborhoods in Santa Rosa. Close to downtown it's easy to get to breweries, restaurants, wineries, shops and the downtown plaza. Perfectly located in the center of the wine country, wineries are minutes away. Covid-19 changes: Prior to the virus we provided our guests with freshly baked scones and homemade jam for their first morning. In addition a small cheese and fruit plate was provided. Essential condiments, such as mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, maple syrup, etc. was also privided in the fridge. All of this has been temporarily discontinued. We will reinstate once it has been deemed safe to do so.

Just one hour north of San Francisco and within a few miles of the Sonoma County Airport and charming town of Healdsburg, this peaceful and serene accommodation is adjacent to a main house which will not be accessible or occupied during your stay. This studio guest house includes private access to a pool and spa overlooking magnificent views. A fully equipped kitchen with outdoor BBQ, horseshoe pit, dining area, outdoor and indoor fireplaces and fountains, evokes the feeling of a resort spa.

The space
The sofa in the living area converts to a comfortable queen-sized bed with a feather-bed topper. A separate bathroom with shower are accessed from the living space or directly from the pool/spa.

Guest access
The entire outdoor area of the property will be yours alone during your stay. The property has two hot tubs. The spa at the end of the pool is not heated; the hot tub located on the deck is heated 24/7. The pool is on average 80-85 degrees during the summer months, but can be heated to your desired temperature for an additional $50/day.

Other things to note
About 40 yards away from the pool and patio is a bee apiary of 4 hives. You won't even notice them unless you go down the hill to see them. They are busy bees making our own Honey Pig honey!

JB Family Ranch is on 20 acres of wine country seclusion, surrounded by world-class Pinot Noir vineyards in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County and views galore. Each room had a separate entrance and in a different building from the main house. One is on the second floor and the other is on the third floor of our tank house. Perfect for two couples or one family that wants to split into two rooms.

Close to vineyards, restaurants, parks, and downtown Sebastopol and Healdsburg.

The space
The third-floor bathroom has a shower and the second-floor bathroom has a bathtub (NO shower, so great for those that love a good bath). Each bathroom has their own toilet, sink, robes, etc.

Guest access
You can enjoy roaming and hiking on our property. There is great hiking nearby. You can park right in front of our tank house.

For those with EVs, we have an EV charger on site.

Additionally, we have a Peloton and Tempo Fitness system in our garage for those that want a workout while on vacation.
