- "We stayed in the Lodge, in a suite with a balcony overlooking the golf course. Whilst it could be described as a little dated, the suite is comfortable and spacious. The main eating areas, inside and outside, are well served with friendly, helpful staff. The estate is beautiful with an excellent golf course and enjoyable horseback riding, courtesy of the lovely Bonnie." - "My husband and I stayed in a third floor room in the lodge for three nights. The room was very nice, quiet, comfortable, clean with good WiFi. We enjoyed the location, being close to Crater Lake, and other areas to visit, but not in Klamath Falls, which lacks charm, to say the least. The staff was very welcoming and gave us great customer service. We ate at the Ponderosa Grill on the property and it was just fine, also with good service. We would definitely return."

- "My stay at Rocky Point Resort was so peaceful! Michelle at the front desk went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. That was especially nice since I was there in the off season and the place was extremely empty and quiet. My mattress was phenomenal and my room was basic but had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!" - "I had a car problem so my arrival was after hours, the lady who checked me in was really nice, good communication and came out of her way to make feel welcome so late at night. - "Excellent location...a short 15 min drive to Lake Of The Woods...well supplied home...comfortable beds...a perfect getaway for friends...we enjoyed the deck and views...looking forward to a return stay in the future." - "Lovely place to stay! We stayed there and drove a short ten minute drive to Lake of the Woods each day. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the home is well stocked with items needed for cooking. The home is not huge although the master suite upstairs is very spacious. Seating in the living area is limited for larger groups with only a couch and one chair. However the dining table seats six so that can provide extra seating. We really enjoyed the view of nature and towering pine trees through the front windows. Helpful hint: Shut the blinds before going to bed because the morning sun will quickly heat up the front room if you’re staying during the warmer months. Overall, recommend the place for a peaceful get a way."

I did not notice in the listing but there are no televisions in the home and no a/c, it was very hot that weekend and uncomfortable in the upstairs bedroom. Evolve did not respond to my questions for several days. However, once I had a number for the owner, they responded quickly, Check in process was smooth. Location is peaceful and would recommend as long as it’s not too hot outside."

Be mindful of your surroundings and do not allow pets off leash outside at any time (especially at night). Always supervise children on the property. Use caution when driving to/from the house at night in order to avoid the numerous deer in the area. We conduct regular pest control and inspections, but can't guarantee you won't see the occasional insect inside. We try to keep them out, but they're persistent "buggers" :-). We're located in a dry, high desert environment and dust is a part of that. We are meticulous about our cleaning, but can't guarantee you won't see some dust inside; especially in summer.

HISTORY
Point Comfort Lodge was built by a railroad and lumber tycoon from the mid west in 1912. At the turn of the century it was fashionable for wealthy families on the east coast to build large summer homes in the Adirondacks. Most of these vacation homes were log cabin or mission style architecture. When the Klamath Development Company was developing the lumber harvesting business in Klamath Falls they built Point Comfort to be their vacation home at the foot of the Cascade Mountains on the shore of upper Klamath Lake. Originally, four great lodges were built on Klamath Lake; they were Eagle Ridge, Odessa, Harriman Springs (built by E.H. Harriman) and Point Comfort. Point Comfort is the only one remaining today, making her the Grand Dame of the Lake
Point Comfort was designed by a renowned craftsman style architect from Berkley California. The restoration of the Lodge took 7 years to complete from the hardwood floors, wood paneled walls to the windows and doors containing 805 panes of glass. Her restoration adhering to historical guidelines has earned her a place on the National Registry of Historical Places.
LODGE STYLE
The Lodge is furnished with a blend of contemporary furniture and valuable antiques from the Craftsman period. For your enjoyment we have added two vintage pinball machines, no charge to play. The Lodge’s commercial kitchen is equipped to feed many, with its Wolf range, separate icemaker, dishwasher, two refrigerators, 8 foot stainless steel sink unit and prep island with sink. There are enough dishes for 30 people.
PATIOS, DECKS AND DOCKS
The front entrance has a lovely covered porch that is a restful place to sit. On the lakeside of the Lodge is a deck, which overlooks the lake. Below this deck is a large cement patio, perfect for outdoor entertaining. The dock will accommodate up to eight average sized boats and comes with a ladder if you happen to jump in. A peddle boat is available for guest use. Bring lifejackets. The three acres of land surrounding the Lodge are planted in rolling lawns, and natural plant species of the surrounding area. The gardens are beautiful in the spring when the lilac bushes and the flowering trees are in bloom. There are several large rock outcroppings to set off the gentle slope to the lake.

- "My family of 13 made wonderful memories at Bill’s beautifully restored Lodge. We felt like we were staying in a museum with many antiques that gave an historical perspective to life in this old wooded community. The entire lodge was very spacious and clean for our group. The kitchen was well equipped. The grandchildren children had activities they enjoyed outside. We all loved the area’s wonderful wildlife and especially enjoyed the fantastic fishing on the serene lake. We did have a few glitches in communication prior to our arrival but it was all mutually resolved. Thank you Bill for allowing us to thoroughly enjoy our stay on your great property. Aloha, Felice B."

- "An enjoyable place to stay to get away from hotel row! Accommodations are sufficient. Could use a pulldown nozzle in the shower since it’s a little different as a round shower. Also would be nice to have some kind of burners to cook." - "Great stay, fun exploring the area." - "This place was so nice! It was spacious enough to make it really a great place to hang out for a couple of nights. My dogs enjoyed looking around in the grass and it was a great peaceful getaway from the noise and busyness of the city but only minutes away if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again."
