Name the types of outdoor recreation you enjoy. Pick anything. Mountain biking? Fishing? Birding? What about just picnicking along country roads? You can do all this and much more from your resort at Running Y.
Perched on a ridge near the 143-square-mile Upper Klamath Lake, your resort is well-positioned to take advantage of one of the most diverse and pristine wildernesses in North America (there are seven national wildlife refuges here). The region's volcanic legacy has left the famous caldera of Crater Lake, lava beds, fumaroles and towering peaks. It also happens to be the route birds prefer for their western migrations. In fact, bald eagles by the hundreds winter in the Klamath Basin.
Such a backdrop invites exploration. So choose your transport-foot, tire, or wing, and set forth. After several "Oh wow's" and a few "Look at that's," you'll be ready to return to your Running Y accommodations and all the comforts of home.

However, the room was clean and nice, the kitchen area and dining space was comfortable, and it was roomy enough for my friends to visit and hang out for a while. - "Exactly what we expected. Clean, plenty of room and great location." - "We really had a great time staying at the Running Y ranch for OIT's parent/grandparent weekend. We were able to provide a home cooked meal for our grandson and one of his new friends from school. They both were really grateful! The unit was adequately supplied with everything we needed and we were able to sleep 5 comfortably. " - "Great" - "The condo is spacious and comfortable. It is located in the Worldmark section of the Running Y Resort. That wasn’t exactly clear from the listing so there’s only one building in that section that has a nice view of the golf course and resort. We were in building 3 which looked out at other units. The unit itself was nice however the listing said a king bed in one bedroom and a queen in the other. It was actually 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom so that was a bit of a surprise and disappointing. Overall however it was a nice clean unit and we were there only 1 night."

- Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland (mid February-October)

- "Clean. Well appointed. Cost was very reasonable. Beds are extremely comfortable with elegant linens. Easy check in and staff was accessible for any needs." - "Great facilities and hospitality! Home was nice but one of the three bedrooms had 2 small beds. They were very hard and uncomfortable. Not a big deal something that can be addressed in the future!" - "We had a great stay. Checking is was no issue and no pressure, just friendly and helpful. Needed a couple more blankets and the front office was so helpful. We would definitely like to stay again! Thank you! Eric"

- "We started out on shaky ground at check in desk. Because I reserved through VRBO, I thought I was reserving the unit I saw on line. That unit had a beautiful golf course view. At check in, we were told the computer randomly assigns units. I was unhappy, and my husband was angry. We felt deceived. We had zero golf course view in bldg 3. Reassigned to ground floor level unit in bldg 1. Once inside, we learned there was still no golf course view. Will never book a World mart unit again."

- "This was our 2nd year staying here and we love it here! The only complaint this year is that the property was not clean like before. The bathroom cabinets had drips of something down them and the lip around the bathroom was dusty and dirty. It definitely won’t stop us from staying again as the area is beautiful, just expected it to be clean."
