There are two queen beds and two mini futons in upstairs bedroom that might serve for children, but not adults. Kitchen needs to be restocked with a few more items. Pretty sparse on cutlery and basic dishwear. As others have mentioned, there is no Internet in the area, so print off what you need to check in. Good wifi once you actually get in unit. Small deck had BBQ which we didn't use. It only had one canvas chair to sit in, which was in terrible shape, so no one wanted to take a chance. Two deck chairs would have been appreciated. There is a row of cabins in front of unit which seem to be long term rentals. Overall this unit is on the small side, but clean and looks at water (partially obscured by cabins in front) "

This delightful home in Yachats features spectacular ocean views, a private hot tub, nearby beach access, and a comfortable, homey feeling that will make you feel welcome. With space for six people and two dogs, everyone will love it here!

Located toward the south end of Yachats, this home is within a short drive of the restaurants, galleries, and market in town. You may want to take a three-minute drive south to Cape Perpetua, one of the very best viewpoints on the entire coast, which also has fascinating tide pools, great hiking trails, and rugged, rocky coastline. Or, if you want to visit other coastal cities, Florence is a 25-mile drive to the south, and Newport is 25 miles north.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom home can easily accommodate six guests, and you may even bring two dogs with you! An additional nightly pet fee will apply. The large windows in the living area provide amazing views of the ocean, so you can watch the waves roll in and out without even leaving the comfort of the couch!

You will find plenty of entertainment options here, ranging from the cable TV with DVD player, wireless Internet, and board games to the more serene wood-burning fireplace. Year round bird activity makes this home appropriately named “The Swallows.” Many call The Swallows “A little piece of heaven”, and it is!

The Swallows is located at the end of a quiet little street on the northwest end of Yachats. The house is just one block from seven miles of sandy beach to the north. To the south is the beginning of the historic 804 Trail which meanders along the coastline with breathtaking views of waves crashing on rocks and scenic sunsets. You can walk the trail all of the way into town which in total is about a half hour walk- one way. Stop off along the trail to the Adobe for a meal in their oceanfront restaurant.

You can see the ocean from the living room and dining room and on a nice day sit out on the deck with a cup of tea, soaking in the rays and listening to the sounds of the pounding ocean. The house is a very comfortable, bright , cheery, well stocked abode that is cozy in all seasons, with warm fluffy blankets and comfortable beds.

On a rainy day, enjoy a walk along the 804 Trail and then come home to snuggle in front of the cozy gas fireplace. Curl up with a book from the bookshelf, or enjoy a puzzle or game provided for your pleasure. If you’re a Duck or Beaver fan, you can even grab a game on the television.

We love dogs and gladly welcome yours, though we do ask that you pick up after them and keep them off the furniture and blankets. Dog towels are provided for you as well. We do have a 2 dog limit.

If you truly want the view, Ocean Bay Cottage is your spot. This great little cabin with southern exposure and a big deck is situated with perfect views of the ocean, and mouth of the Yachats River. Relax on the deck while enjoying the sunrise/sunset. Views change every six hours because you're sitting right at the tide line. At low tide you will see life unfold before you on the beach, including resident eagles, herons, and seals. At high tide the same view will provide breaking waves as well as the migration of hump back whales during the spring and fall months.

This CLASSIC beach cabin has two bedrooms and one bath.

Amenities include a fully furnished kitchen, ocean view living room and dining room, HDTV/ DVD Player, Wifi, FM tuner with iPod cable. The Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center is right next to the grocery store, so stop in for a chat about local attractions. The Yachats area is plentiful with scenic areas and hiking trails to enjoy.

Our "Blowhole Bungalow" is aptly named for the migrating spouting whales that can be seen from the beautiful, open great room picture windows. And also for the naturally occurring blowhole formed in the rocky coastline just a few blocks from the house.

This historic 1922 bungalow in the heart of Yachats village was restored from the foundation up, started in 2010 and completed in 2012. It's located at 362 W. 2nd Street and as the name says, everything is just a “stone’s throw” away. You’re just two doors down from Yachats’ State Park where you can whale watch, play frisbee, or wander down to the rocky marine preserve where tide pools and agates abound. Watch flocks of pelicans wheel by, as otters and seals peek from the surf. When the tide is low, you can walk all the way down to where the 804 trail meets the ocean at the Adobe, and from there it is just another short walk along the 804 to the sandy beach – seven miles of it.

Or, head into town, just two blocks away, where you’ll find restaurants like Heidi’s Homemade Italian and the Drift Inn or head down to the Wine Place for some fine wine tasting. Enjoy some of the many events held at the Yachats commons, or wander through the farmer’s market in front of the commons on a Sunday morning. If you have kids with you, you’ll find a playground just behind the commons with the best tree house on the coast. Just a block and a half from your doorway, you’ll find the Little Log Church, now a historical museum, or wander over to Toad Hall or Rain Dogs for some gift shopping. And for breakfast and the best locally roasted coffee, we recommend The Green Salmon, just two blocks from your doorstep.

If you want to stay inside, you’ll find retro charm and modern comfort. A wood-fired stove warms the living room, next to a sofa and two easy chairs and a bookcase full of everything from mysteries to classics. There’s even a piano for the musically inclined. One bedroom features a queen bed, the second, a king, four-poster bed, mood lighting and a faux fireplace for warmth and atmosphere. There's also a fold-out double in the den, so the house sleeps a total of six. The dining area seats 6 to 8, or head into the kitchen and enjoy the great view from the retro bar. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining, including a microwave. And beyond that, the den opens up on an incredible view through four large picture windows. Enjoy the sight of Cape Perpetua as the sun sinks toward the sea. Relax in the cozy sofa or armchair and watch TV or one of the many DVD’s on hand. There are plenty of board games and puzzles in the den as well. The bathroom is also fully remodeled with a roomy, tiled shower and bath tub (and a great shower head!).

This little gem of a house is a unique property. The historic Yachats village neighborhood comprises just a few square blocks, and this is one of the few remaining original bungalows restored to its former glory. Unlike many properties, no driving is required once you park your car! It’s great for a couple seeking a romantic weekend close to everything, for a family with kids looking for some easy, family fun, or two couples enjoying a joint vacation. Escape to Trillium Cottage for your beach getaway! This darling, romantic cottage is ultra clean and located in a very quiet neighborhood. With a peak of the ocean from the yard, don’t be surprised if you see deer meandering by. Relax and restore in our 2 person hot tub located in the backyard. It’s an easy ¼ mile walk into town if you like to dine out, or want to enjoy the beach. On chillier evenings, settle in by the woodstove ( first bundle of wood is provided) with a warm beverage. Yachats has lots of sight-seeing with numerous hiking trails and scenic areas to enjoy. For a beautiful country drive, head east on Yachats River Rd to check out the historic North Fork Covered Bridge.

Sunset Villa is a newly appointed, modern Condo located in the heart of the Yachats Village. Enjoy a birds eye view from our wall of windows in the living room and kitchen area. Pour a glass of wine, unwind and watch the sunsets. We have a fully furnished kitchen, newly appointed with all that you need for cooking gourmet meals. Both bedrooms have sliding glass doors that lead to our balcony. A great place to reflect and people watch. Access to town is super easy, once you arrive you may park and walk to all of the local shops, restaurants and bars. Nearest beach access is just a 10 minute walk from the Condo. After a day of exploring, take a soak in the jett tub and then enjoy a good night rest in our comfortable queen size beds each with down comforters. You won't want to leave! Located directly below our condo is a lovely wine bar which has live music several days per week. Sorry pets are not allowed.

The condo is located on the main strip of Hwy 101 so it's not a quiet location, but traffic eases up late night and the condo is well insulated against the noise. It is walking distance to everything Yachats has to offer, or a short drive to Cape Perpetua, or Waldport, or sights beyond. We really enjoyed our time here in Yachats."
