- "We loved it here! Thanks for the memories!" - "Easy easy easy" - "We did not realize we booked a Dome Home! What a delight to drive up and see how positively charming this little cottage is. Everything is as listed and even better in person. The view is gorgeous and so peaceful, the hot tub was hot and ready for our arrival, and the inside is charming and well kept. We had a small water leak from the washing machine hose so I contacted the property manager and he was quick with a response and was out the same day to fix it and while he was there he also balanced the chemicals in the hot tub, swept the porch and hung the bath mat... above and beyond. We ended up having to leave a day early and my only complaint would be that I wish we had more time to relax and enjoy this home. If we find ourselves in the Eugene area again, this will be where we stay."

A comfortable twin bed and a nice queen futon are in the main living area.

Campfires are sometimes restricted during the fire season. if guests wish to have a campfire, a pressurized water hose must be on and present during the campfire, and fires must be soaked three times before leaving it unattended. No fireworks, hunting, or discharging firearms is permitted on the property.

- "Such a beautiful winding drive to unwind on the way there. Trees, creeks, lakes, and even gorgeous covered bridges. Once there the yurt is situated in a lush Oregon forest. A huge center skylight and plenty of windows so feel free in the woods. Check out the music room. Its really cool. There are trails throughout the property to wander and explore. The expectation was set and exceeded. Oooh, and the totems are really cool and have a great story (as a totem should)."

The cabin is really nice, well kept, and well stocked with everything we needed. There is so much to do in this area. The kids loved playing around the pond catching tadpoles. The creek is really nice, kid friendly, and offered good fishing while we were there. The property manager was super responsive and flexible. Being off-grid setup I expected it to be more rustic and limited than It really is, that didn't really effect our stay. My only small gripe was the Traeger grill/smoker, It was finicky and a propane grill would be easier for most people. We did make some amazing smoked trout on it though!"

While we allow 6 people to stay, keep in mind there is only one full bathroom (upstairs) with two sinks, and 1/2 bathroom (downstairs), one of the sofas is a bed in the living room and another one is in the master bedroom. Both events were held in Eugene/Springfield.The location was far enough from the Eugene/Springfield area to provide the peace and quiet we were looking for, yet an easy drive up the highway to join family.The home was very clean. Communication with the host was always prompt and friendly.The wifi connection was excellent. We needed this for my son to attend classes via Zoom during the week.There were a variety of plants and delightful personal touches throughout the home.The neighborhood was quiet. There was 1 onsite parking space. Street parking is limited.The beds were comfortable. (We did not use the sofa bed, so I cant speak to its comfort.)We brought our Old English Sheepdog with us. The home sits on a hillside. The front yard is landscaped. So there is no fenced yard if someone needs that for their dog. We were fine walking our dog and taking her to an off leash park within a10 minute drive from the home.Overall, our experience was positive and we would look forward to staying here in the future."

Main bathroom has walk in shower and large soaking bathtub. Second bathroom also has a shower/bath. Heat pump provides heat and AC.

- "This host was a fantastic host! From start to finish, the communication with the host was flawless. Expectations were stated in the beginning and never wavered. The property was as described in the photo. You will have a beautiful view of the river (although no direct access on the property). Mornings on the deck are amazing to soak in the river sounds and crisp Oregon air. The bathroom is small for large groups or multiple families, but was workable for our small group. Its close enough to Eugene and far enough to feel tucked away. Book it, you won't regret it."
