Turned out the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. As others have said, can't beat waking up to the view of the lake. The contact we had with the hotel was very responsive and they quickly helped with a couple of questions. They are renovating additional cabins on same road and all with have very nice views. We rented a side by side the next day with Torex - we highly recommend them for taking a ride on the sand dunes! "

Shorecrest Lake Pines:

Beautiful lake area home centrally located between all of the attractions the central Oregon coast has to offer. This cozy and inviting home is sure to please the entire family with its privacy, large yard, and thoughtful floor plan. When you enter Shorecrest Lake Pines you will immediately feel at home with the comfortable open floor plan, great decor, and comfy furnishings. Just off of the living room is the spacious and well appointed kitchen to prepare meals and make memories. Also off of the living room is a spacious master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom, and then the second bedroom across the living room with a queen bed. The large living room has all of the comforts of home with a large flatscreen TV as well as a Murphy queen bed. This home has plenty of room for your boat or sand toys. If you require more space, the sister home is located next door and can be rented together.



Sutton Lake:

Sutton Lake is 125 feet deep at the dam and the dam is 210 feet high, 1178 feet long and 195 feet wide at the base and 1407 acres that is fed by the Elk River. It is a narrow lake that provides an intimate canoeing experience with coves and two arms that meander up the Elk and Holley River drainages. A great fishing spot with Largemouth bass, yellow perch, blue gill, rainbow trout



Mercer Lake:

Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1.5 miles further east on Mercer Lake rd watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option, West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water.



Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well..

With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish.



What’s nearby:


This home is a quick drive to multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean 
beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road. The charming Old Town section of the city 
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.
 You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The 
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean.

 Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to 
experience the unique natural wonders of this area.
 Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are 
offered daily.
 Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road

The area is known for great restaurants, active pubs, shops, art galleries, an ice cream and a chocolate shop. Yet surrounded by natural beauty including the majestic Siuslaw River.

Most everything is within walking distance, while the ocean beaches, National Dunes, and golf courses are a quick 10 minutes drive from Historic Old Town. Florence was voted number one - most beautiful places by Expedia in 2017 & 2018 & 2019!

The freshly redecorated space has new furniture, paint and carpet. The rooms are filled with gallery quality art from both local and nationally acclaimed artists. The unit is 1400 square feet with a large 250 square foot deck overlooking the scenic river and views of the beautiful and historic Siuslaw Bridge. The deck is complete with dining table with seating for 6, 2 zero gravity lounge chairs, and a BBQ. Perfect for dining and relaxing while watching all the fishing and crabbing vessels depart and return from the Pacific Ocean.

The large primary bedroom (very active street side) has a flat screen TV and additional comfy seating, a king sized bed with new linens. The primary bath features a Jacuzzi tub and shower, with a separate double sink between the main bed and bath. The smaller bedroom has a king bed, affords views of the river, separate deck access, and a bathroom just steps away. The kitchen is fully furnished with island seating in addition to the dining room seating for six.

Other amenities include a washer/dryer, two flat screens w/cable, internet connection, and a reserved parking space less than one block from the unit. Trailer, RV and oversized, second vehicle parking is available along side streets or at the port parking area -one block from the Tides condo.

Sorry no pets, and no smoking/vaping anywhere in or around the building. The SECOND STORY condo is accessible by stairs only - no elevator.

While there are beautiful views of the Siuslaw River and Siuslaw Bridge, there is no bridge noise as we are located several blocks from the bridge and not near enough to hear the traffic.

Re: Early check in - it’s important to pre arrange early check in for two main reasons. First, to allow our housekeeping staff to work without interruption. Second, our electronic lock system is set up for an after 4pm arrival. The locks will not open for your code before 4pm on check in day. I’m happy to provide free pre arranged early check in whenever it is possible. 🙂)

Please be aware that this condo is located in the heart of Old Town with active restaurants, and busy shops all around. Most businesses open at 10am and close by 8pm. While the deck and guest bedroom are peaceful at all times, there is always street activity, on weekends especially, until 10 or 11 o'clock or later.

Light sleepers please be aware that Old Town has many restaurants which require early morning deliveries and early morning garbage pick up. There will be noise some early mornings. We have provided a fan to create 'white noise' that has helped most guest sleep through the street noise.

While the deck and guest bedroom remain peaceful, there may be some street activity, especially on weekends, until about 10–11 PM.

At the end of the boardwalk, you’ll find a convenient market stocked with essentials, a great wine selection, deli sandwiches, and fresh donuts!

Welcome! Nestled in the Siuslaw forest on the Central Oregon Coast, our cottage sits on several acres of private property with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Designed and outfitted as a place to let-go, relax and reconnect with yourself and nature, our cottage can be enjoyed solo, with a lover, family, pet or friends.

The cottage is newly remodeled with top-of-the-line appliances, tasteful decor and beautiful woodwork. The floor plan is open, creating an environment of togetherness. There are large windows throughout the cottage, allowing the beauty of outside nature to be enjoyed inside.

Off of the living area is a private bedroom with one queen size bed that overlooks the ocean. Around the corner, a full-size European bath awaits your pleasure – candles and bubbles welcome! For nights enjoyed by hearth, there is a wood-stove in the main room stocked with firewood and an electronic fireplace in the bedroom.

Traxlers Surfside Cottage is a new in 2015, 1,344 square foot beach front house with amazing views and an open floor plan. The kitchen, living and dining room, are all on the main floor with stunning views of Heceta Beach. Walk out on the front deck, and take a short path to the beach. The deck also wraps around the beach side of the house, so you have a wind protected place to sit on those windy summer days.

You'll also find a queen bedroom, a full size stack washer and dryer, and a full bathroom with a shower bathtub combo on the main floor. The kitchen features stainless appliances and granite countertops. You'll find a full size dishwasher, a built in wall oven, microwave, and a separate glass cooktop.

The primary bedroom is upstairs, with a king size bed, stunning views, a sitting area and it's own wind protected deck. There is also another bathroom, on this floor, with a shower bathtub combo. Parking notes: Steep driveway. There are 2 carports. The upper carport is appropriate for any size vehicles, but the carport closer to house is lower and may not accommodate larger cars. There is also an uncovered parking space in front of house and OK to park in gravel area at the top of driveway.

Older children are welcome, but this property may not be suitable for children under the age of 12.

Mercer Lake:



Boat Launch - There are two public boat launches, First is about 1.5 miles further east on Mercer Lake rd watch for signs on your left. Second and slightly easier option, West on Mercer Lake rd to Bayberry rd turn right then an immediate right onto Archer Ln. Launch is at the end of the road, narrow road so best to back down Archer to water.



Mercer is a good sized lake listed at 341acres on the north side of Florence. Great largemouth bass fishing, yellow perch, bullhead catfish, seasonally stocked rainbow trout and some sunfish as well..

With a boat, you can poke around the long Dowell and Dahlin arms and many small coves and points around the lake. There are standing and fallen trees around the shoreline, as well as a fair number of docks, that add to the potential cover for bass and panfish.



What’s nearby:


This home is a quick drive to multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean 
beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road. The charming Old Town section of the city 
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.
 You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The 
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean.

 Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to 
experience the unique natural wonders of this area.
 Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are 
offered daily.

Bay View West:

This Amazing Bay View home is located directly across the Siuslaw River from Old Town Florence. Bay View West offers amazing views, a large open floor plan with two living spaces, a very comfortable and inviting bar / game room, an outside BBQ area with picnic tables, a small pond between the homes and plenty of parking for boats or sand toys. When first entering Bay View West you will immediately notice the attention to detail from the craftsmanship to the tasteful decor. Walk upstairs to the living room with huge picture windows and those amazing views of old town Florence where you will have the perfect view of fireworks on the 4th of July. Your whole family is sure to enjoy the large living space with big screen TV's on either floor. At dinner time the spacious gourmet kitchen will inspire meals with friends and family where you will make amazing memories together. The heated garage has been completely outfitted for family fun with comfortable seating, games, and even a bar for entertaining. On warm days open the garage door to expand your entertainment area with a covered BBQ and picnic tables. At bed time this amazing home has two large private master suites, one on the upper level then the other on the lower level. Both suits face the Siuslaw River and have king size beds, private bathrooms, and TV's. The lower suite has a twin trundle bed to sleep two extra family members. Bay View West is the perfect location when visiting Florence with the dunes, river, lakes, or beaches just minutes away.

This home is a quick drive to multiple access points on the Oregon Coast including dunes, ocean 
beaches, the popular South Jetty Road, Heceta Lighthouse, the famous Sea Lion Caves, and of course the city of Florence is just across the river. The charming Old Town section of the city 
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.
 You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The 
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean.

 Some trails wind up over and through sand dunes offering hikers the opportunity to 
experience the unique natural wonders of this area.
