Our hidden gem is surrounded by the forest, in the foothills of the cascade mountains, directly across from Silver Falls State Park. A short 1/2 mile walk will bring you to the North Falls parking lot, or use our pass for free parking anywhere within the state park.
The space
Enjoy your stay at our luxury suite. We chose every detail with you in mind. There’s a small living room, with a TV/DVD player, to relax after a day of hiking, and a bedroom with a queen bed. Listen to Silver Creek (across from us) from your open window. The couch pulls out into a queen sized bed, as well.
Guest access
Guests have complete use of driveway in front of their private entrance. No more than two vehicles on the property. Use of side yard to the left of the apartment, up the concrete stairs. Back yard is private, family use only.
Other things to note
We do not have a kitchen, but we do have a kitchenette, complete with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee/keurig pot, hot water kettle, and toaster. Dishes, silverware, and other utensils provided. Dishes and mugs are microwave safe. There is a gas grill outside, for guest use. Please do not bring/use hot plates, instant pots, crockpots or any other type of cookware.

The Kitchen:
Guests will feel at home in the well equipped Gourmet Kitchen. The custom tile, marble countertops and Oak flooring throughout create a great space to cook a delicious family meal, or just hang out and enjoy the lovely views of the farm and pond from the kitchen window.

The Living Rooms:
There is a comfortable living room with a cozy down filled sectional sofa. TV/DVD player with a large collection of movies and lending library for your enjoyment.

*A separate family room creates an additional living space. Or a 3rd 'Bedroom' with a comfortable full sized Sleeping Sofa. It has access to the front porch with lovely views of the farm. An ideal place to sit and enjoy that early morning cup of coffee. Comes complete with fun board games, puzzles and a chess set.

Dining Room:
The gracious formal dining room has a large Refectory Table that seats up to eight guests. Ideal for hosting a dinner with family and friends in comfort and style!

Bedrooms:
The large Master Bedroom suite has a queen size bed with crisp cotton sheets, luxurious down comforters, pillows and a Wool Berber carpet. The master bath has a tub/shower. This stylish bedroom has access the deck and private Cedar Hot Tub through a French door.

*There is also an additional sleeping annex with 2 twin beds located off the master bedroom and is ideal for families.

The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed that is a handmade Luxury Mcroskey.

The 3rd' bedroom' is located in the front of the home.

This farm house is on a working nursery specializing in hardy palms and unusual plants. Wi Fi is available now as of summer 2020. There is a porch swing. The master bedroom has a crib available. There is a King bed in the master bedroom. One bedroom has a queen bed. The third upstairs bedroom has 2 single beds. Downstairs is a day bed sleeping 1. Off the kitchen is a nook that is facing south so it is bright and sunny there. This is a 1929 farm house with some remodeling and as such has period furnishings and bathroom doorknobs that do not lock. We are located 2 miles south of the Oregon Garden and approximately 25 minutes from Silver Falls state park. One bath has a tub the other a shower. Rates start at $135.00 for 2 people per night, each additional person is $15.00 per night with an 8 person maximum occupancy.

This 1917 Craftsman Style home offers 2 upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen bed. These rooms share a large 2-sink full bath with shower/tub.

On the main level is the living room with smart TV, games and books, and a window nook with bistro table. This space flows into the dining area and a large half bath.

Off of the dining room, the dedicated office space is perfect for quiet down time. This area is bright and cozy, complete with desk, smart TV, a papasan chair, and attached full bath.

The large full kitchen flows off of the dining room as well. Fully equipped, this kitchen offers ample storage and work space, stainless steel appliances including dish washer; toaster, Keurig coffee maker; electric hot water kettle; cooking and baking essentials; dish ware and utensils. A grill is available on the back deck.

The back deck is accessed by passing through the mud room (which has a new washer/dryer and iron w/board).

Adirondack chairs can be enjoyed on the covered front porch; the back attached deck has a grill and seating area with umbrella; the mostly fenced-in back yard has seating around a fire pit (guest supplies wood). Long driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles.

The home features central air and portable fans to augment separate upstairs heat/cooling pump for those really hot summer days.

Guests experience contactless check-in and check-out. Access is via key code and I make myself available via the app and text if you have questions.

Other things to note
Due to the age of the plumbing system, please ONLY flush toilet paper down toilets. Please do not flush ANY wipes, Kleenex or sanitary products as these can lead to unpleasant and costly backups.

Fire wood is supplied by the guests and is available at local grocery stores.

**PETS
Our dogs are family as well, so they are welcome at the Charmer. One dog up to 50 pounds may be present during your stay for an additional pet fee of $25 nightly. If your dog is coming with you, you MUST include him/her when noting the number of guests on your reservation in the TRAVELERS box.

I want everyone to enjoy the yard, so thank you for picking up any pet droppings.

Guest cottage located 15 minutes from Historic downtown Silverton, 10 minutes from Silverton Reservoir and 20 minutes from Silver Falls State park. Master bedroom with Queen size bed, upstairs loft with 2 extra long twin beds, and twin size daybed in living room with twin trundle. Kitchenette has microwave, toaster, coffee maker, suitable for breakfast and heating up food. Full size fridge. Minimum stay 2 nights, Maximum stay 4 nights. This is a private guest cottage separate from our residence. Experience a taste of county life with Dogs, Cats, Alpacas, Goats, Turkeys & Chickens on our 9 acre's. Note for guests: While we are not “ off the grid”, we can and do loose power, have sketchy cell service and problems with * Wi fi. We do have a generator which will run the essentials. The downstairs is heated and cooled by a new mini split and will sleep 4 guests comfortably. There is a window air conditioner in the loft upstairs, but on hot days it still gets very stuffy and warm. We are in the COUNTRY, bugs and critters live here. We do not use Herbicides or Insecticides as we are a home to Bees. We our best to keep unwelcome visitors at bay, but sometimes they drop in uninvited. For guests who have allergies- we do have cats and dogs- and seasonally there is field buring in the area. PLEASE read the welcome email from VRBO that you will receive prior to your stay. It will have detailed directions and contact numbers, the property can be challenging to find.
We have been having major issues with Wi-fi, so while there is a booster in the guest house we can’t guarantee you Wi-fi, thus we have removed it from amenities.

Communication was quick and responsive. I did miss having a dresser in the bedroom and a mirror in the bedroom where there would be access to natural light. I do enjoy the ability to be organized on a trip. We had a lovely time and this bungalow as a home base was very chill. The neighborhood was quiet with adorable cats."
