It sits next to the Fanno Creek Trail, a 4.5 mile walking and bicycling trail in the community of Garden Home. The path from the driveway is lined with automatic lights every night. Cozy warmth is provided by radiant heating in the exposed aggregate floor, and summers are air-conditioned. Every window looks out onto greenery.

- "Excellent!" - "The staff were great. I was there in business" - "I stayed here for the weekend with my kids. It served its purpose. It is not a fancy hotel, it is a 2 star hotel. Check in was easy. I did have to give a $100 deposit at check in. The place does smell like cigarettes and marijuana when you first arrive. I must have gotten used to it because I didn’t smell it after that. The rooms are non smoking but there are people smoking outside the main entrance. They do serve breakfast and that is something I was looking for with out stay. The kids always love hotel breakfast. They had bagels, cereal, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle station. The eggs and hashbrowns aren’t the best but the rest of the breakfast is good. Overall we had a good experience. If you want a 5 star hotel experience, get a different hotel. I was here with 3 kids and it was fine for the weekend. I would prefer something more upscale if I’m staying longer. "

We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors.

Come stay at our charming, spacious and fully remodeled home in an adorable neighborhood of Portland. This is a home away from home perfect for families with children and perfect for Business needs. Everything is brand new as the house was redone from the studs up.

The Metzger/Multnomah Village neighborhood is minutes from downtown Portland (off peak hours = 12 minutes), the Portland Zoo, Japanese and Rose Gardens, blocks from the largest mall in the state and one exit from Lake Oswego. Being only 6 blocks from I-5 makes it extremely convenient for any activity that brings you to Oregon without having to navigate the congested Highway 26 at the North end of the city.

This location in the Metro area is our personal favorite and we have owned several homes in the neighborhood because it is convenient to everything, quaint, quiet and well established. The home is walking distance to Fred Meyers grocery store, 5 blocks from Metzger Park, 1 mile from the Garden Home Rec Center which has summer camp for kids, classes for all ages, sports activities year round and much more and 3 miles from the quaint Multnomah Village. Portland Community College Sylvania campus is 2 miles away.

You will have the entire home to live in during your stay. The home is a large 2200 feet with 5 bedrooms (7 beds), 3 full baths on a 1/2 acre with beautiful trees and a lovely sunset deck. There are 5 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs. The upstairs master has a queen bed with a private bath and large walk in closet. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bath off the hall. Downstairs has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a 2nd room with a queen bed, and a 3rd room with bunk beds. There is a spacious full bath downstairs. All 3 baths have shower and tub are stocked with soap, lotion, hair products, hair dryer. All of the linens are new and there are plenty of blankets and pillows and cozy comforters. Upstairs comfortably sleeps 4 and downstairs 6. All rooms have true mattresses; there are no futons.. This is a very family friendly home as the downstairs offers a spacious living/ rec room and there's lots of yard to play in and explore. (Please note - - - due to insurance restrictions we absolutely do not allow events! Maximum people day or night is 12. Licensing does not allow gatherings beyond the registered guests. If you choose to cook you have a fully utensiled gourmet kitchen including oil, spices, coffee pot. There is a phenomenal grocery store walking distance 4 blocks away for any food items you might need. There are lots of local pubs and eateries within a mile of the house and a guide to Portland's central restaurants is provided.

Kara and I are avid cyclists and can provide referrals to bike rental shops and great cycling destinations. We are not on site but close by if you need us. We love this house and our city and are excited to share both with you. Kara has decorated the house with treasures for all to enjoy. There are many original pieces of art, vintage touches and charming antiques but no lack of a modern feel!

I was influenced to build out this suite when I remodeled my house. I had rented a similar style unit and made a list of all the things I liked or wished I had during my stay. So far I have great feedback from how the unit feels when you get inside. It is located near multiple local business, coffee shops and restaurants as well as about 12 min from downtown Portland. The unit has wireless internet as well as the use of bikes available to get out and experience the local community.

- "This was a great place to stay for a quick trip to Portland. We were so close to everything we needed. There was a winco right down the road, gas stations nearby, and cute breweries we could go to for dinner, less than 10 mins away! The hotel itself is very clean and the staff was very kind. The gave us the CUTEST door hanger to inform staff members that a dog was in the room. The room was spacious and had everything we needed! Breakfast was delightful and had lots of options. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through! We will certainly be back next time we are in town! Thank you!"

(We love to cook) The property is within walking distance to downtown Tigard, in a quiet street. The one and only thing we would recommend is a separate air-conditioning/heating unit for each home. There is a holiday rental on the lower level of this property, which we shared the air-conditioning with. A separate unit for each home would be the ideal. In saying this, Nick and Shannon's responsiveness to any issues was prompt and they make themselves available at all times. - "My husband and I spent 21/2 months this summer at The Fireside Suite to escape the heat of the hot summer of Phoenix and provide daycare for our two yr old Grandson. Our stay was fabulous! Nick was extremely reactive to any concerns and glitches that arose. The apt was furnished and provided much comfort and a great sleeping bed! The swing set, large yard and lovely path through a small wooded area provided much activity for our 2 yr old Grandson. We experienced some noise issues while watching tv. - "The place could use some improvements. The office blinds let in too much morning light into the bedrooms, making it hard to sleep. The water pressure in both the shower and kitchen is very weak, more like a drizzle. Additionally, there are no extra blankets available, it gets cold at night in Portland. Upgrading the curtains, improving water pressure, and providing extra blankets would make the stay much more comfortable." - "Stay away! However, if you absolutely need to stay at this place make sure to have the followings on mind:1. you will not get any response from Evolve team. You are basically left on your own.2. The wall heating system is located between 2 bedrooms and makes very loud noise. Take ear plugs with you if you want to sleep or you need to shut the door and sleep in cold. 3. Bring extra socks and slipper. The floor is so filthy you run out of clean socks. 4. Bring your towels and bed sheets. Towels are so worn and dirty. 5. The house is located right next to the main street. Earplugs are essential. 6. Try to tip toe when walking in the house cause the whole place is so old makes you feel you are gonna break into the floor. Enjoy :) "

- "The owner was great! Quite safe neighborhhood. Close Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping Three bedrooms, plenty of room. Not much of a yard to sit out in though but parks close by.
