The ground isn’t all level as it’s near a creek so there’s some gradient, I was able to go down the path into the forest and out almost everyday! For that I am so great full, the forest and creek views and sounds everything so beautiful! I was able to move around inside easily (I love smaller spaces as well), I know how to utilize space and there was plenty of room for what I needed. The host even left fresh organic fruit which was so lovely! I kept eating it all.! As well as other breakfast options which is very sweet. I liked the kitchen space, it’s got what you need for most everything. The bathroom was lovely and easy to get in and out of and plenty of space for my walker to help me. The upstairs is spacious and has a desk with a view that was so lovely. It’s near the woods so there’s bound to be woods related things such as bugs here and there etc. this is very typical for most spaces in wooded areas, I am use to sustainable practices as well for gardening which they also do a lot of which is so lovely!!! So yes there’s some fruit here and there because they’re allowing it to decompose back into the earth - the natural cycle of life. I love it! Helping our planet and travelers!! The hosts are so wonderful, excellent with communicating, and so helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much!"

- "This house is absolutely stunning. The view is really what makes it award-winning. It has very modern furniture, which isn’t the most comfortable, but it worked just fine. We weren’t able to use the hot tub because it was too dirty to even consider, which was unfortunate, but okay. One night when we got in late, we had a hard time getting into the house with the code we were given, which gave us a scare, but eventually it worked. I’m not really sure what happened there. We appreciated having a plain old coffee maker provided because the built-in espresso maker looked confusing and way beyond anything we’re comfortable with. We did feel, at times, that we were staying in someone’s main residence, due to the clothes in the closets and all of the items in the master bath. But it was still lovely and we would highly recommend. The owner was very kind and cooperative and quick with replying to messages."

- "The house was very nice with lovely views from the dining room. The location was great! The layout of the house worked well for our family and the number of bathrooms was great. Everything in this smart system enabled house is labeled well. Roomy and comfortable common areas in kitchen, living room, and dining room. Loved having a primary bedroom with bathroom on the main floor! All the beds were very comfortable. Some minor suggestions for improvement: Stock more toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for guests. Also no kleenex. We purchased more of these things and left whatever we didn't use for future guests. The back patio area could use some TLC. We opted not to use it or the outdoor grill because of that. Vertical blinds were missing some individual strips in both sliding door windows in primary bedroom. Overall we thought the house was super nice and would definitely recommend staying there to friends and family."

This wonderful suburban retreat is tucked away on a corner lot in a quiet Southeast Portland Neighborhood. It is conveniently located to groceries, shopping, and entertainment. The Seiben Creek Retreat is a fantastic location for your family or small group to stay at and enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

The main level boasts and fantastic living, kitchen, and casual dining area that makes for a great space to relax and enjoy time together. One entire side of the living and dining space has oversized windows and a sliding glass door which allows the entire area to be bathed in natural light. Additionally there is a more formal dining room as well as a half bath on this floor as well. Another great amenity is the fully fenced backyard which makes it an exceptional space for those travelling with kiddos or pets.

Ascending upstairs you will find four spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Within the oversized primary suite there is an additional flatscreen TV for your streaming desires, as well as a desk and office chair if you absolutely must be productive. Two of the other three bedrooms have queen beds, while the fourth bedroom enjoys a twin over twin bunk bed as well as a desk.

Accessible to Portland by train though we had to walk over the highway to the station which was a little sketchy. - "This was an an extremely interesting and quirky B&B hosted, primarily, by Mary, a wonderful, thoughtful lady of Eastern European origins. I love her accent, her kindness, her desire to make my stay as pleasant as possible. This B&B is unusual and quirky because Mary loves all kinds of art and displays numerous objects, prints, posters, antiques, etc. The accommodations are much like staying at a grandma's house combined with an antique shop. So if you like that you will love this, as I did. I felt loved."
