This homey ADU was so wodnerful, I am not able to do stairs very well so I stayed downstairs most the time. I slept on the futon all week as well and it was comfortable for me. I have lots of body pain and other physical challenges with walking and other things the bed didn’t bug me and I was able to get around with my walker around the property. The ground isn’t all level as it’s near a creek so there’s some gradient, I was able to go down the path into the forest and out almost everyday! For that I am so great full, the forest and creek views and sounds everything so beautiful! I was able to move around inside easily (I love smaller spaces as well), I know how to utilize space and there was plenty of room for what I needed. The host even left fresh organic fruit which was so lovely! I kept eating it all.! As well as other breakfast options which is very sweet. I liked the kitchen space, it’s got what you need for most everything. The bathroom was lovely and easy to get in and out of and plenty of space for my walker to help me. The upstairs is spacious and has a desk with a view that was so lovely. It’s near the woods so there’s bound to be woods related things such as bugs here and there etc. this is very typical for most spaces in wooded areas, I am use to sustainable practices as well for gardening which they also do a lot of which is so lovely!!! So yes there’s some fruit here and there because they’re allowing it to decompose back into the earth - the natural cycle of life. I love it! Helping our planet and travelers!! The hosts are so wonderful, excellent with communicating, and so helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much!"

- "This house is absolutely stunning. The view is really what makes it award-winning. It has very modern furniture, which isn’t the most comfortable, but it worked just fine. We weren’t able to use the hot tub because it was too dirty to even consider, which was unfortunate, but okay. One night when we got in late, we had a hard time getting into the house with the code we were given, which gave us a scare, but eventually it worked. I’m not really sure what happened there. We appreciated having a plain old coffee maker provided because the built-in espresso maker looked confusing and way beyond anything we’re comfortable with. We did feel, at times, that we were staying in someone’s main residence, due to the clothes in the closets and all of the items in the master bath. But it was still lovely and we would highly recommend. The owner was very kind and cooperative and quick with replying to messages."

- "The house was very nice with lovely views from the dining room. The location was great! The layout of the house worked well for our family and the number of bathrooms was great. Everything in this smart system enabled house is labeled well. Roomy and comfortable common areas in kitchen, living room, and dining room. Loved having a primary bedroom with bathroom on the main floor! All the beds were very comfortable. Some minor suggestions for improvement: Stock more toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for guests. Also no kleenex. We purchased more of these things and left whatever we didn't use for future guests. The back patio area could use some TLC. We opted not to use it or the outdoor grill because of that. Vertical blinds were missing some individual strips in both sliding door windows in primary bedroom. Overall we thought the house was super nice and would definitely recommend staying there to friends and family."

This wonderful suburban retreat is tucked away on a corner lot in a quiet Southeast Portland Neighborhood. It is conveniently located to groceries, shopping, and entertainment. The Seiben Creek Retreat is a fantastic location for your family or small group to stay at and enjoy all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

The main level boasts and fantastic living, kitchen, and casual dining area that makes for a great space to relax and enjoy time together. One entire side of the living and dining space has oversized windows and a sliding glass door which allows the entire area to be bathed in natural light. Additionally there is a more formal dining room as well as a half bath on this floor as well. Another great amenity is the fully fenced backyard which makes it an exceptional space for those travelling with kiddos or pets.

Ascending upstairs you will find four spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Within the oversized primary suite there is an additional flatscreen TV for your streaming desires, as well as a desk and office chair if you absolutely must be productive. Two of the other three bedrooms have queen beds, while the fourth bedroom enjoys a twin over twin bunk bed as well as a desk.

This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.

Accessible to Portland by train though we had to walk over the highway to the station which was a little sketchy. The space
Never rented and just renovated (April 2025) with new furniture, floors, carpet, bedrooms and kitchen.

The living area offers a perfect place to gather after a long day with a beautiful fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a Smart TV. The private patio is off the living area, and guest can enjoy cooking on the grill and sitting on the deck!

This home is also perfect for a working vacation with high-speed internet and plenty of space for remote learning or work.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and has custom cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area seats six comfortably.

The spacious master suite features a Dream Cloud king-sized bed, a walk in closet, and a smart TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, soaking tub, and walk-in shower with a door separating the toilet area for added privacy.

The home has a washer and dryer and for your convenience, laundry detergent is provided.

The room boasts a sitting area, which features a sofa and two club chairs, for great conversation.

The first guest bedroom features a king bed, and large smart TV with a subtle beach decor. The second guest bedroom has a Queen-under-Twin XL bunk bed, and wilderness decor.

The home features a game/movie room that includes a XBOX 1. The room features a large Smart TV.

One of the advantages of this property is that it is centrally located, just minutes from I-205, Clackamas Mall, multiple hospitals, and the famous Happy Valley Station Food Carts.

This property is located in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood. You will observe many walkers strolling the sidewalks under the tree lined streets.

Please note that we have a minimum age and night requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age or older.

More space means daily housekeeping is not a cost-effective option, not to mention it would infringe on the home-like feel and added privacy a vacation rental offers.

We offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more. To restock or purchase any other needed items, we encourage guests to visit the local grocery store or take advantage of a grocery delivery service.

Guests have access to the entire home and property except for one locked room in the basement that we use for linen/supply storage and the small white pump house in the back, where we store our outdoor supplies and tools.

The Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We are right next to an elementary school, but it is further back off the road and we do not hear the children playing at the house unless we are outside. We are less than 1/2 mile from shops, restaurants and grocery stores, 18 miles from downtown Portland and 40 miles from the ski slopes on Mt Hood.

Hygge House PNW is a 830sq ft 3 bedroom/1 bathroom guest house with 2 cozy common spaces, smart TV, electric fireplace, dedicated work space, stocked coffee bar and peaceful country views. The mid century modern decor exudes form and function with thoughtful touches throughout.

Enter the home and you are greeted to the first common space that has been tastefully furnished with West Elm furniture. A couch and armchair with cozy blankets and modern lamps makes the perfect place to enjoy a good conversation or book.

All three bedrooms have distinct design features, showcasing modern artwork and greenery. These rooms have queen mattresses outfitted with comfortable bedding and pillows for a restful retreat. One of the bedrooms features a dedicated work space. There is high speed internet throughout the home

Although the Hygge House does not provide a kitchen you will find a beautifully designed and fully outfitted coffee bar that is also equipped with a retro microwave, toaster and mini fridge/freezer. We take your caffeine needs seriously at the Hygge House and have Keurig pods and tea available, as well as local coffee that you can brew by the pot or in a french press. We are also happy to direct you to any of the nearby restaurants or some of our favorite spots within Portland at large.

Beautiful spacious guest house off of the main home. Separate entrance and far enough from the main living area to feel very private and secluded.
Enjoy open living, dining, and kitchen floor plan. One of the first things to notice is the beautiful view of the valley from the main living space. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee, an evening beverage, or anything in between you will find yourself sitting and relaxing, taking it all in.
The living room has a comfortable sofa bed for sitting or sleeping depending on your needs. There is plenty of room to spread out given the open floor plan. The main bedroom with a queen bed that sits back behind the second bedroom bunk area. Which has a full mattress on the bottom and a twin above it. (Please note, these room are joined together, you must walk through the bunk room to get to the main bedroom. There is a door to separate them, but they are still connected). This makes a wonderful space for a small group or families to stay and enjoy the surrounding area of Portland. Perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Being in Happy Valley, you are just a few minutes from groceries, shopping, and freeway access, only 11.8 miles to Portland.

The kitchen is minimally equipped for cooing. There are no dish towels or sponges /dish rags for cleaning, and no kleenex anywhere. This was the very first time in a VRBO that the host made absolutely no contact with me before, during or after our stay. I contacted her a few days before we were to arrive and she contacted us after we left because she wondered where we’d left the TV remote (it had been left on the coffee table). She did not leave a review of me…so now I can likely expect a bad one though all I’ve written is true. I’m glad that this experience is not typical of VRBO rentals; I’ve never before given a negative review."
