Our home is located just outside of Wilsonville city limits, 5 minutes from freeway access. Wine country and equestrian centers are minutes away or you can be in downtown Portland in roughly 20 minutes.

We have 3 bedrooms and a bonus room. Main bedroom has a King size bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd has a full bed. The bonus room has a very comfortable couch or blow up queen sized mattress.

The home has a large open kitchen/family room that opens up to a large 2 tiered deck that has a wooded view. Plenty of seating and BBQ's. We have a pellet smoker, ceramic egg that burns charcoal and a charcoal pizza oven. The lower tier has a hot tub that fits 8 people.

The home is equipped with smart TV's in every bedroom, bonus room and living room. The living room has recently been upgraded with a 65" OLED television. The bonus room has a new 85"
OLED TV. This technology provides the best picture available. The home has speakers wired into almost every room that is controlled by the main stereo system in the family room. Subwoofer included. It sounds amazing at low volumes and at high volumes it will rattle the windows. Don't worry about neighbors, they won't hear a thing.

Even though the house is close to town it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Every window looks out to a beautiful old growth forest which is a nature preserve. It is situated on a 1 acre lot in an area where other homes are required to be on 5 acre parcels. There is a lot of space and trees for privacy. There is a large side yard that is roughly 100 ft long and 30 ft wide.

The kitchen is fully equipped. We live in this home about 6 months out of the year so you will find the pantry, spice cabinet and cupboards fully stocked with almost anything you need to cook a gourmet meal.

Guests are welcome to roam the four-acre grounds with paths, picnic tables, and a fire pit. Enjoy the splendor of our colorful flowers and the aromas of honeysuckle and lavender. If you're fortunate you may encounter the deer, squirrels, raccoon, possums, hummingbirds, and other wildlife that roam here. No dangerous animals have ever been seen on our property.

Our new guest house is wheelchair accessible with our ADA-compliant ramp and shower support bars. The front door is 36" wide and the bedroom and bathroom doors are 32" wide. The kitchenette and bathroom vanity are at regular countertop height.

The Creekside Haven guest house is attached to our garage, but not attached to our house. We don't allow weddings, parties, pets, or smoking of any substance.

We had one small hiccup when a tree fell on a power line knocking out the power for 8 hours, but Karlin was easily reachable and updated us on the progress. We weren't able to find any flashlights so that might be a good addition to the house, but we managed. It did get a bit stuffy without power but we opened the windows and fell asleep listening to the peaceful chirping of the crickets and by morning the house was nice and cool. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and there is a great park close by for walking. I would recommend this for larger groups."

We recently went back to hosting the property ourselves after having it hosted for a period of time by a property management company (where the property continued to get 5 star reviews under their profile) but that is why there is a gap of time with no current reviews on our profile. :)

HOUSE RULES:

Our Sweet Retreat is meant for singles, couples and families who are looking to enjoy and explore the Wilsonville area and beyond (minimum rental age is 25). We want guests to relax but we also hope to be able to continually provide exceptional accommodations because our guests understand they are to leave our property as they found it...clean, neat and tidy. Children should have fun while under the watchful eye of their parents.

--Completion of a guest information form with verification of government ID and a signed rental agreement is required for your reservation to be finalized. A security deposit up to $500 as an authorized hold on your credit card is also required.

--A guest guidebook will be provided to guests prior to arrival and you must read, acknowledge and adhere to that information during your stay.

--The person named on the reservation will be our point of contact and must be present during the entire stay (unless discussed in advance with us). They are responsible to convey the information found in the Guest Guidebook to other guests staying or visiting and ultimately for the actions of those other guests while at the property during their stay.

--The number of guests specified at the time of booking must match the number of those actually present during the stay. The external cameras will verify the number of guests and you will be billed accordingly if there are more guests than your original reservation states. The maximum amount of guests allowed for each unit is: Farmhouse = 8 guests, Detached Studio = 2 adults and The Camping Corner = 2 adults. The property maximum is 12 guests and this applies to sleeping and/or occupying the property (buildings or grounds). See next rule if you'd like for exceptions to be considered or ask us about our event packages.

--Parties are never allowed (including co-ed wedding party and/or sport team stays). Events, business meetings or social gatherings may be considered but are not allowed without express permission first (additional fee may apply). Disregarding this rule will result in immediate eviction and additional fines.

--Pets are not allowed. We strive to provide a pet allergy-free environment. Sign of pets on the property may result in eviction and a loss of all booking fees and /or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will be financially responsible.

--No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed. Absolutely, no marijuana or using drugs during your stay. Please drink responsibly and dispose of bottles and cans in the appropriate recycling bins. The internet may not be used for illegal activities. Any violations may result in eviction and a loss of all booking fees and/or loss of your security deposit. If damages occur, guest will be financially responsible.

--Do not move or re-arrange furniture without permission by the owner. Do not use any form of mounting material to hang things from walls, ceilings, etc. No candle burning, we provide flameless, battery-operated candles for you to use instead. Do not operate indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire pits have specific rules for operating, if not followed, fines may apply. Firewood is provided.

--Bicycle riding and any water activities on the Willamette River or any other bodies of water are done at your own risk.

Our home is located just outside Wilsonville city limits, 5 minutes from freeway access. Wine country is minutes away and you can also be in downtown Portland in 20 minutes.

We have 4 bedrooms. Master has King bed, 2nd bedroom has Queen bed and 3rd bedroom has double bed. There is also a large bonus room with a sectional that can sleep 2 smaller people or 1 adult. There is also an option to use the provided queen sized air mattress.

Large open kitchen/family rooms opens up to private wooded deck that has lots of seating and BBQ's. (We have a Traeger Smoker and Ceramic Egg). There is also a hot tub for you to enjoy.

House is equipped with a smart TV in every bedroom and wifi.

Even though the house is close to town, it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Every window looks out to a beautiful forest view.

Relax on the deck with a glass of wine or jump in the hot tub! It’s all there. Sean and Jenice are the quintessential hosts-even though they are not there. Heck, Sean even has a library of short videos online covering how to use the remotes, the grills-yes, two types of grills-and the hot tub, and more! Ten days flew by as we moved our daughter to Portland for this trip. I have a feeling that we will be back and this property will be first on our list!!"

Fondly referred to, as Lil' Miss Lazy Daisy Lou, this vintage-style trailer is the perfect glamping getaway offering additional space for guests in your party or it can be rented individually. Decked out in retro style, you'll be greeted by a cheery disposition that sets the tone for a fun "old soul, sentimental" stay on wheels without sacrificing any of today's modern conveniences. Completely equipped with an outdoor grill, sink and prep station means you can take your "inner chef" outdoors and whip up your favorite camping fare or kick back and let someone else do the cooking at the many local restaurants nearby.
