- "What a wonderful property! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Orenco, so much so that I'm sure we will be back when we visit Oregon. Our room was lovely. The large soaking tub was great! The bed was incredibly comfortable too. We were given a nice bottle of wine upon arrival too :) We were also given $15 vouchers to use a nearby bakery, Tous Les Jours ... and that place was amazing! A huge selection of pastries, from savory to sweet, and very affordable. Great coffee and tea drinks too. Great breakfast! I had a rental car and I was able to park right outside the building every night while we were there. It's a very quiet and serene spot in Hillsboro. There's a nice grocery store close by, along with a number of restaurants and shops. It's truly a very lovely area. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too ... what more could you want? Living room has gas fireplace and piano. Large patio deck. Large yard, mostly fenced in. Ample parking. Walking distance to downtown, Tuality Hospital, Pacific University, Max line. Close to Intel and other Silicon Forest high tech businesses. 25 minutes to downtown Portland by car. This is my home but when I rent it out, I put most of my belongings in my personal room in the basement. I occasionally need to access the personal room during your stay but if so, will give plenty of notice, and will not enter the living area. NO PETS please.

I went out to my car and tried to get back into the back door at 10:58am (just before checkout) and my card was already cleared and not working for me. Check out is 11am and that is the time it should stop working..not a few minutes before. I had to walk in the slippery ice to the front door to get my card reactivated and it took a lot of unnecessary time to do that...especially since the walkways at back of bldg were not salted. (The front of bldg was salted and had walkable walkways). Regardless of these issues, overall it was a good stay! "
