- "What a wonderful property! My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Orenco, so much so that I'm sure we will be back when we visit Oregon. Our room was lovely. The large soaking tub was great! The bed was incredibly comfortable too. We were given a nice bottle of wine upon arrival too :) We were also given $15 vouchers to use a nearby bakery, Tous Les Jours ... and that place was amazing! A huge selection of pastries, from savory to sweet, and very affordable. Great coffee and tea drinks too. Great breakfast! I had a rental car and I was able to park right outside the building every night while we were there. It's a very quiet and serene spot in Hillsboro. There's a nice grocery store close by, along with a number of restaurants and shops. It's truly a very lovely area. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too ... what more could you want? Living room has gas fireplace and piano. Large patio deck. Large yard, mostly fenced in. Ample parking. Walking distance to downtown, Tuality Hospital, Pacific University, Max line. Close to Intel and other Silicon Forest high tech businesses. 25 minutes to downtown Portland by car. This is my home but when I rent it out, I put most of my belongings in my personal room in the basement. I occasionally need to access the personal room during your stay but if so, will give plenty of notice, and will not enter the living area. NO PETS please.

I went out to my car and tried to get back into the back door at 10:58am (just before checkout) and my card was already cleared and not working for me. Check out is 11am and that is the time it should stop working..not a few minutes before. I had to walk in the slippery ice to the front door to get my card reactivated and it took a lot of unnecessary time to do that...especially since the walkways at back of bldg were not salted. (The front of bldg was salted and had walkable walkways). Regardless of these issues, overall it was a good stay! "

We had breakfast every morning at Tous les Jour, a bakery one block away. (Yum!) We enjoyed beer at the Orenco Taphouse (had tasty Yucatán food from a food truck), had delicious Thai at Nine Dang Fine Thai, and celebrated our anniversary at Orenco Station Grill. The nearby grocery store has everything a person might need. The MAX station is right down the street from Zen Stay and, though we didn’t use it this trip, it would easily enable anyone staying at Zen Stay to go to downtown Portland, the zoo and rose garden, and even the airport and beyond. Very convenient. Host Jen was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely recommend Zen Stay, and would love to come back again."

Our studio guesthouse is located behind our primary residence in a tranquil and posh neighborhood, the Brookwood Estates. Our 500 sqft modern studio with aesthetic interiors comes with a fully functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with essentials to cook a full meal.
The studio is furnished with a comfortable day bed, a trundle bed (twin mattresses on each) and an in-wall stow-away king bed that easily sleep 4 adults. It is equipped with a smart TV (with YouTubeTV subscription - same as cable) and a chromecast, so you can cast any content straight from your mobile devices. It’s also equipped with a high speed Wi-Fi (50Mbps download and upload) that makes casting ultra-HD content on TV, logging in to work VPN, having video conference calls etc seamless. There is a cushy table and chairs which can be used for work as well as dining. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower combo, and a full-size washer/dryer for your laundry needs.
The patio has adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the serene setting amid big trees. You will have your own private outdoor space and we will have our own, your privacy is not disturbed unless you wish to talk to us.

Take an early morning or evening stroll through the neighborhood. Hillsboro 53rd Avenue Community Park and Hidden Creek Community center are located within couple of blocks from the studio. Stroll around Orenco Station, which has several restaurants, micro-breweries, pubs, coffee shops, boutique shops etc. Portland Metro train (MAX) station (Hawthorn Farm Station) is walkable from the house and can take you to PDX, Portland Downtown, Rose Quarter, Pioneer Square etc.

This comfortable, well cared for townhome is located in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need. Comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen make it easy to stay in. But if you prefer to go out there are restaurants, coffee shops and shopping malls nearby. There is also a park with great walking trails just 3 blocks from the front door.

Intel and Nike campuses are very close. And if you’re up for short drive, Downtown Portland is 20 minutes away and the stunning Oregon coast is just a little over an hour away.

There are two MAX train stations nearby with direct lines to Portland and the Portland Int'l Airport less than a mile away.

Cleaning company stated I stained the couch even though I left a blanket over the couch and did not have contact with the actual couch. "

All surfaces are extensively disinfected prior to our guest’s arrival. All linens & towels are removed and added back after cleaning & disinfecting. Disinfecting wipes, disinfectant spray, as well as gloves, are available in the Loft. We also have masks available upon request. We normally meet our guests, to check-in and familiarize with the loft. We now will be greeting guests, donned in gloves and masks. However, if a guest would prefer, a request for “social distancing check-in” will be provided, allowing the guest to self-check-in & check-out. We welcome any questions and will accommodate every request to our fullest ability.

How great is this? Walk out of this 2nd floor open loft with exposed rafters, to a morning latte’ on the corner? This loft is wood and steel, concrete and cable, industrial but comfortable, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, free WiFI & cable, weekly housekeeping, and it’s located right in the center of Orenco’s offerings. Everybody has wondered what it’s like living “up there” above shops and restaurants in an urban setting. Now, at the water cooler conversation, there’s a smile when saying, “I’m staying in this really awesome loft!”

Like that old, but true saying, “Location, location, location!” Urban centers like Orenco Station, have all the amenities needed, just a few steps outside the door. New Seasons, the awesome “new favorite” market/deli, international cuisine presented by several restaurants and pubs, coffee houses, boutique shops and more are all within easy walking distance.
