This wonderful suburban retreat offers a fantastic location and a number of amenities. The back of the property sits next to some greenspace and the Springwater Corridor Trail runs directly behind the home and has 21 miles of paved surface and stretches from Portland all the way to Boring, Oregon.

Upon entry you are greeted with a split level concept where the upper floor boasts an open living and dining layout that sits adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. Just down the hall there is a full bath shared with two of the bedrooms, while the third upper bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The Springwater Escape recently received a number of upgrades and enhancements. Every bit of furnishing and décor is brand new and was curated to help create that perfect blend of comfort and style for your stay.

Descending to the lower level, there are two additional bedrooms and a half bath. There is a second media area with ample seating. Make sure to play some of the preloaded original Nintendo games while listening to the library of vinyl records. When in the mood for something a bit more active, the garage has been converted into an epic game room with a bit of everything. It's loaded with electronic shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, and a GIANT Connect Four. All can be enjoyed by the entire group as there is even more seating and a huge TV to stream whatever you are in the mood for.

The oversized backyard is fully fenced so kiddos and pets can enjoy. You'll find seating on the upper deck while there is a brand new hot tub on the ground level that is a hit with most every group. Guest Access:
Guests have access to entire home, the private back yard, and 2-car driveway. Guests also have full use of the private laundry room. No Guest access to the garage, as it is reserved for the owner. There is a fireplace in the home but it is non-functional, use is for ambiance only.

The Highway is also known as the Columbia Gorge Hwy, Old Oregon Trail Hwy and is one of the “7 Wonders of Oregon”, this highway also connects to highways leading to Downtown Portland, Clackamas, Gladstone, Lake Oswego, Vancouver & Camas Washington.

- No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
- Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
- Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
- We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house-trained dog into our home! We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, as per my listing details. We will go ahead and request the fee via an alteration request after the booking is confirmed. Please accept ASAP to confirm authorization.

- "We needed a place to stay for an event at Mt Hood Community College and this place was perfect. Close to the school and places to eat without having to drive miles and miles." - "Very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities of this listing, as well as with the responsiveness of the host. The house has a few design quirks but nothing that impacted the overall quality of our stay. Plenty of room for our group of friends to sit and socialize both in the living room and around the dining room table. Listing did not include hair dryers but we did find at least two hair dryers present in the unit which was a nice surprise. Overall a great experience!"

- "Family all wanted to stay under one roof and were coming in for Mothers funeral. We each had quiet Privacy and plenty of space to hang out. We enjoyed the Fire Pit and access to the park, through the gate. Generous kitchen space and plenty of dishes. Also appreciated the potted plants, trees and other plants on the property. We met the owners who were friendly and accommodating. " - "This house has a ton of space and a ton of character. It is situated on a huge lot with lots of beautiful greenery surrounding it. Cool 70’s vibes inside and it really fits the flavor of Portland. We had more than enough space/beds/baths to accommodate our family comfortably.The house is situated next to a park, and it looks at the backyards of the houses adjacent to it. The other side of the house is private and has a beautiful fire pit area.It is a difficult property to find because it has a chain link fence around it with a padlock to get inside. As they book more stays, they may want to consider a stronger identifier on the fence so that people not familiar with the property can find it easier. Having to get out of your car to padlock the fence to get in and out of the property is a bit of a pain point. It would be nice to eventually get an automated/electric alternative for that.The main entrance door with the key code is the only way to get in/out of the house (besides the sliding door) and the rest of the doors are dead bolted. This is confusing on arrival, so better directional signage and/or instructions could help.Overall, this property has a ton of potential. Thank you for letting us stay!"
