- "We loved the isolation and to be able to disconnect from our busy lives. It was very quiet and peaceful. You don’t notice your neighbors and everyone is very respectful of each other. The views of Mt. Adams were awesome. We explored the area and did some hikes. We cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire every day and enjoyed s’mores every night. There are not a lot of dining options in the area but if you are there for isolation, peace and quiet, and time in nature then it is a great location. If you like a fire every night then bring your own firewood. They provide some but it is not much. There is a cute general store a mile from the cabins if you forget anything. They did a great job of providing everything you need in your cabin. The only thing I would change with the cabins is providing some shelving above the bed for clothing etc so people can unpack. We loved it and will definitely use Postcard Cabins again. "

- "The house is very nice with a kitchen that is great for visiting while cooking. Beautiful setting with the small river in the backyard. We all loved the Pavilion with its big fireplace. - "Our Men's Ministry Group does annual hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail. This year, as we finished up near Trout Creek, WA, the Glenwood "Cabin House," as I like to refer to it, was the perfect "go rest and celebrate" gathering place. Our group of guys found comfortable places to sit and talk and gaze at Mount Adams. The kitchen was just right for making a serving meals, and we tried to be extra careful, since the place is so special. This would also be a perfect place for a gathering of one or more families, subject to space limitations of course."

- "Property was amazing, directions were spot on and it was beautiful. The spiral staircase was tight and definitely not kid friendly. The bathroom upstairs and showered were great!!" - "We had such an incredible time at this lodging. We wanted to get away from the stress of the city and found this gem of a place. Our first night, we were sitting at the hot tub listening to music when it started snowing! It was magical. We had downloaded some movies on our tablet and enjoyed watching them wrapped around a fire. Not to mention, how incomparable it is to wake up in the middle of nowhere with your significant other and no interruptions. That being said, I should reiterate some key points that should be obvious from the description but you should have in mind. This lodging is ouuuut there. You have to follow the directions of the host exactly because a) there’s no cell reception for half of the way and b) the roads get pretty wild out there and the last thing you want is to get stuck there. If you are driving, make sure you have snow chains and a 4x4. We had an all wheel drive and I think we would’ve done better on the road leading up to the house if we had a sturdier vehicle. The communication with the hosts leading up to the stay was excellent. I felt like my questions were thoroughly answered and they seemed like lovely folks. Anyways, I don’t know why the last review is from 2017 but I’ve recommended this place to literally everyone I know. It is THAT good! Give yourself a chance to delight in the magic of this place, you won’t regret it."

One of the people had a dog that barked all night long and we couldn’t sleep at all. Also the first night had a weird smell. - "We decided to take a trip on Labor Day weekend and booked this place about a week out. There weren’t a lot of options, so we chose the best available. I was hoping there would be a park where we could BBQ or access to the river, but neither were available from this location. I believe there is river access nearby for kayaking/rafting, but it looks like a steep climb down with now place to just hang out by the river and relax which is what I was hoping for. Having said that, the room was fine (looks like a converted motel) and not bad for a last minute booking."

Come relax in our home situated on 6 beautiful acres near the town of White Salmon Washington less than 10 minutes away from the town of White Salmon Washington.
I am an experienced Super Host super with 8 years of experience. Our two-story 2600 square-foot home was completely redone just a few years ago. Upstairs, you will find a huge master suite with a full kitchen, large bathroom with Claw-foot tub, walk-in shower, and a cedar steam sauna! Also, upstairs you will find a magnetic exercise bike and magnetic rowing machine. Also, there is a crib upstairs for infants, if needed.
Downstairs you will find an open living room, dining room and kitchen that looks out to the front yard, play ground and covered patio to grill out or just enjoy the sunset while the kids play. If you are staying longer, you will find a laundry room downstairs. Also downstairs there are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and one bedroom has an adjoining twin bed for parents to comfortably sleep next to your toddlers. All rooms have shades and blackout curtains. ( there is a 55 inch smart flatscreen in the living room, but not shown currently in the pictures)
Our house is located just minutes from great rafting on the White Salmon river. We are particularly close to River Drifters rafting and Wet Planet rafting, two outfits that I highly recommend. Just a short drive less than 10 minutes, you can enjoy the city of White Salmon and it’s fantastic, restaurants, scenery, and plenty of parks for the kids. Our location is also a great launching spot for voyages, exploring, Mount Adams, and the town of Trout Lake at the base of Mount Adams. There is a ranger station in Mount Adams to guide you, and all amazing trails that lead to the abundant and beautiful, lakes and creeks of Mount Adams.
Our property is very quiet. The main house, this VRBO, is located at the bottom of the property, and the other three residences are located at the top of our 6 acre parcel. You will likely never see any of the residents, except when they pass by on the shared main driveway. The manager of the property lives in the cabin at the top of the property and he’s usually available through text or calls if you have an issue with something.

- "Only giving 4 stars because the common area couch was incredibly small and uncomfortable and there were no additional throw blankets or bedding to use. The cabin was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. The drive to and from White Salmon and Hood River was beautiful!! I would absolutely stay here again but I genuinely hope they upgrade the common area couch situation! For those traveling who need strong wifi or good cell reception, I would say this isn’t the most ideal location, but it’s exactly what I would expect for being where it is as it’s essentially in the middle of nowhere."

Originally built in the 1930s as a small tavern and slowly expanded, these well-appointed cabins are perfect for large families and groups looking for a memorable and comfortable place to stay! The cabin rooms were once a dance hall - the floors of the cabin rooms are the original floors!

You will fall in love with The Logs' location - you are just a couple hundred yards away from the White Salmon River, which means you can walk straight down to the river, or take another path and walk along the White Salmon to BZ Falls. Conveniently located at the base of Mount Hood in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, outdoor enthusiasts will have a blast here! Windsurfing, kiteboarding, hiking, skiing, and kayaking are popular activities in the area. Make sure to explore Hood River (14.5 miles away), which is full of wineries, breweries, and outdoor activities for everyone. Visit the famous Hood River Fruit Loops Art Center (13.5 miles) with over 36 stands featuring apples, pears, wines, antiques, and various other locally grown products.

This property is made up of four well-appointed cabins - some of them featuring two levels and a lofted sleeping area. Each cabin enjoys access to a community courtyard with a nice seating area, a TV with a DVD player, a partial AC unit, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a nice desk, mountain and valley views, and free WiFi to keep you all entertained and connected with each other during your stay.

THINGS TO KNOW
The cabins have no kitchens. Only mini-fridges, microwaves, and coffee makers are provided. They are stocked with coffee cups, coffee, coffee creamer, and coffee filters.
While doing your research, you may see that there was once a restaurant on the property where your unit is. However, it is closed and not listed as an amenity. Your rental offers lodging and no on-site- restaurant, though grocery stores in the area are only a short drive away.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

A: We love to accomodate early check-in and late check out requests whenever possible! We charge a small $30/fee per hour for the first 3 hours, then we recommend considering booking the additional night so you don't have to rush.

Q: Can I drop my luggage off before check in?
A: Yes! If the home is ready, we can utilize the early check in policy

Q: Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member, or co-worker?

The cabin has electricity. There is no running water inside but there is a 5 gallon water dispenser in the kitchenette. The outdoor kitchen has a kitchen sink with potable water and the outdoor shower has hot and cold water. There is a compost toilet with a light outside of the cabin.

Coyote Cabin is a very small cozy home in a secluded area of Trout Lake. We are about a half hour from the Columbia River Gorge at the base of Mount Adams. We are close to the beautiful Lewis River falls, Ice Caves, cheese caves, white water rafting along with many trails to hike. The cabin is on our 5 acres along with the main residence. We enjoy meeting our guest but respect your privacy so we stay at our place with our 2 dogs.

We have a private drive to the guest cabin. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a trundle bed in the front room along with a cot if needed.

The property features a couple hammocks for guests to relax and take in the fresh air as well as a community firepit that anyone is welcome to enjoy (unless the county burn ban is in effect). On the other side of the property from the cabins is the one and only Mt. Adams Pizza where guests can enjoy delicious pizza, salads, ice cream, beer, wine, and other treats.

Our property is located just a short jaunt to the Gifford Pinchot and Mount Adams Wilderness where recreation, beauty, and adventure abound. Come to our cabins to getaway, seek adventure, take in the beauty and nature, or just relax & rejuvenate away from it all…..you deserve it!

The key to your cabin (Cabin #2, 2nd cabin from the left) will actually be left right in the front door. Please feel free to walk right in and make yourself at home :) Easy peasy! This beautiful cabin also features a nice partial view of Mount Adams as well as the surrounding grounds. Cabin is lofted with a comfortable queen-sized bed upstairs, a pull-down Murphy bed downstairs, and partial kitchen with a place setting for 4 guests. The large bathroom with shower/jacuzzi tub is the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking followed by curling up with a book to enjoy the cozy propane fire stove.

Come for outdoor adventures in beautiful Trout Lake, WA. You can fish, ski, snowshoe, or kayak, & bike from our 20 acre farm nestled in its own private valley on the White Salmon River. You will have a spectacular view of Mt. Adams out of every window.

Our charming 1 bedroom guest suite (ADU) is connected to the main house by a breezeway so you will have complete privacy. The gas fireplace makes the space cozy & warm, and the kitchen has everything you need if you choose to stay in and cook.

The space
This one bedroom suite is large and spacious, with a living room and kitchen. There is a covered porch accessible from both the living room and bedroom with spectacular views of Mt. Adams and pristine farmland. You will have your own entrance, but please note: THE SUITE IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE UP A FLIGHT STAIRS. Also the only bathroom is located in the bedroom.

Please note** This suite sleeps 4, it would be most comfortable for 2 adults. It can sleep 2 small children as well, as there is a futon and a twin mattress.. Its a small space which would be tight for 4 large adults.

1 small dog under 40 pounds is allowed, they will have their own fenced in area directly accessible from your suite. There is a one time $40 pet fee which will be added at the time of booking. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan on bringing a pet.
Dogs that visit will have access to to their own large fenced in yard. Please keep dogs on a leash when outside of this fenced area, as this is a small working farm with free range chickens, and livestock. We have 2
Great Pyranees that roam the property and are livestock guardian dogs.

Cave Creek Farm is nestled on 20 acres at the base of Mount Adams. The farm offers privacy and connection to nature with Cave Creek running through the property. There are abundant gardens to explore including our half acre medicinal herb garden designed and planted in a mandala pattern. Cave Creek Farm is home to chickens, dogs, a black cat 🐈‍⬛ named Magic and a herd of Scottish Highland cattle. You can access walking trails through the woods directly from the farm with grander adventures just minutes away in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

Beautiful 3b2ba house on 2.6 acres located a few minutes from the unique and quaint town of Trout Lake. Large yard and pasture with a small creek (irrigation) running through the property. We love sitting on the porch and relaxing with a coffee and after a day of enjoying the out of door activities and adventures in the surrounding Mt. Adams Wilderness, National Forest, or Columbia Gorge. Or just put your feet up and enjoy some rest and relaxation away from it all

Relax and enjoy the vintage feel of this forested cabin with friends and family in Trout Lake, WA. The Cabin is located on the edge of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and within walking distance of the historic Trout Lake Hall. This location makes a prime base camp for fishing, hiking, and huckleberry picking in the summer or x-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. The cabin has plenty of space to gather and enjoy each other's company inside and out!

The space
The Cabin and the space immediately surrounding it are there for your use. In front and around the side, there is a small porch, a gas BBQ, a picnic table, a seating area with a cornhole patch and a tetherball. In the summer you’ll find hammocks and a propane fire ring, while in winter we offer a wood burning fire pit. In the back, you will find a secluded deck with a table and some chairs.

Inside the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare wonderful meals. This includes a Ninja coffee maker that brews coffee any way you like and a waffle maker; because who doesn't love waffles? We know it sounds amazing so you're probably asking what's the catch. The catch is that it doesn't have a dishwasher but we think it's all just part of running on Trout Lake time, that slow pace that sets in when you wander up here and step back in time.

The main bedroom is on the main floor and has a queen size bed. Upstairs has angled ceilings which really increase the cozy cabin scores! There are two semi-private bedrooms upstairs and a TV lounge. One bedroom has a full-size bed that is hidden from view of the TV lounge but doesn't have a door and the other bedroom has a full-size bed and a twin bed that is closed off with a curtain.

Both TVs are Roku Smart TVs and allow you to log into your favorite streaming apps. There is a game room with a poker table, darts, and an oversized Scrabble board, as well as several other board games. The Cabin houses a turn table and large record collection for your enjoyment.

We live next door but leave you to enjoy the space without interruption. The garage is closed and this is the only area we might need to access during your stay but only to pop in, grab something, and pop out. If you see us we are happy to chat and answer questions but leave the level of interaction up to you.

Other things to note
Trout Lake is a small mountain town. In the summer we see lots of activity while winters are quieter. We have a gas station & small general store but recommend the bulk of your grocery shopping be done in a larger town before you arrive. We do have a cafe, pizza place and coffee shop. Trout Lake Hall also offer a small menu. Please keep in mind that these places often have limited hours during the winter season.

If you are visiting to see music at Trout Lake Hall we are 1/2 mile from the venue. In summer it’s an easy walk, in winter please use your best judgement.

New Partial Air Conditioning!
Summer 2025 - New Air Conditioners have been added to the Master Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 4, as of July 10th. Additional units planned for August.
Heat is generally mild at Treehouse due to 2k elevation and the house being very shaded. But on very hot days, these air conditioners will help with the highest rooms / most sun exposed rooms in the house.

Additional parking space is available for larger vehicles, boats, RVs, etc.

Three televisions are located throughout the home, including a big screen, dedicated movie room. TVs come with Amazon Fire sticks linked to several streaming services, including a YouTube TV account dedicated to this home and featuring all major networks and channels.

Coffee, tea, and creamer selection is provided, along with some basic essentials such as spices, oils, sauces, and popcorn.

Update - We have reordered the bedrooms in the listing and added some new beds throughout the house. We consider bedroom 6 to also be an Office / Gym. 2 air mattresses can be added on request. Additionally, a twin sized bed is built into the reading nook that is attached the the living room. We have started leaving sheets, pillow, and blankets at the nook, as many guests have reported that they enjoy sleeping there.

Check in and check out times are flexible but please let us know ahead of time if you need extra time.

Small Group Discount! - We have booked small groups and can lower the Cleaning Fee, if some parts of the house are not needed (such as the Guest House). Inquire about a decreased fee!
