Studio at the church with one king. A spacious studio apartment beneath the first house of worship west of the Mississippi was built entirely by volunteers from the congregation in 1923. By the 1970s the building had fallen into disrepair. The Alliance Tabernacle Church, built in 1923, is reported to be the first house of worship west of the Mississippi to be built entirely by volunteers from the congregation. By the 1970s the building had fallen into disrepair. Beginning in October 2014 the current owners began the process of restoring the building to it's original condition under the supervision of the Historic Landmark Commission. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

There are 2 security camera's on the property. The first one is a video doorbell and the second one is downstairs in the hallway to the maintenance room. Only video is captured, not audio.

We are in an extremely safe and quiet neighborhood in northeast Bend. The studio sits above a detached garage and has its own private entrance so you can enjoy your independence and solitude.

PETS: Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Dogs only! We allow up to two well-behaved dogs with an additional pet fee of $150 per month or per stay (if less than 1 month). To add a pet, please declare your dog as a 3rd guest and notify us during the booking process.

Within its 380 square feet, there is a queen bed, 55" Android TV, a recliner, breakfast bar with stools, an office desk with multiple outlets and an office chair, a fully furnished kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, closet, full bathroom with a large shower and bidet, an outdoor storage closet and extra space to store your gear. All utilities including trash are included. You will also enjoy views of Mt. Bachelor from the comforts of your bed!

We are approximately 20 minutes from the Redmond Municipal Airport, 24 minutes from Sisters, and 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor. The Cascade Village Shopping Center has multiple restaurants and shopping and is about 5 minutes away while downtown and the Old Mill District are both about a 10 minute drive.

If you enjoy going to parks, we are located right next to the 36 acre Rockridge Community Park and about 1.8 miles from the 159 acre Pine Nursery Park.

There are multiple breweries within biking distance including 10 Barrel, Bridge 99, and Craft.

You will have private entry to the studio which is equipped with a keypad for guest access. Ample street parking is available for all sizes of vehicles.

We only accept bookings for guests who will be staying in the studio. Please do not book this for someone else if you do not plan to stay here. We may make exceptions under certain circumstances, so please inquire before booking.

Following your arrival, we will meet you at the studio to do a brief walk-through of the property. Ideally we would like to greet you once you arrive and go over the basics, but if this is not feasible we will schedule the walk-through within 24 hours.

Nestled in forestland, one mile from Twin Bridges boat access to the Siletz River and a 25-minute drive to Nye Beach. As comfortable as we know you’ll be in the studio, you must get out and experience all Bend has to offer. Hiking, fishing, golf, lakes, rivers, Mt. Bachelor, beautiful sightseeing and many more activities are within a 30 minute drive.
We think you’ll enjoy your stay without getting in your car at all. Within blocks you can visit local brew pubs and a great assortment of restaurants and shops. Beautiful downtown Bend is a 15 minute walk, or, a short bike ride on bikes we provide. Experience locally owned restaurants, bars, breweries, unique boutique shops, coffee roasters, bakeries, Drake park and more.
This century old neighborhood which was home to many mill workers in the past has become a rejuvenated and vibrant area for a new generation. Many of the old houses continue to be remodeled and, at the same time, retain the old neighborhood feel.
