The Dungeness is a cozy two bedroom, one bath cottage overlooking Beverly Beach just north of Newport. Each bedroom has one queen bed and the home sleeps 4 comfortably. The bright, open floor plan affords fabulous ocean views from the living room and dining area and resident grey whales are a regular sight. The kitchen is well stocked and the cook also gets a spectacular view of the ocean! Stream your favorite media apps on the Smart TV; the cottage is ready for video conferencing with a recently updated modem and wifi router and the fastest speeds Spectrum has to offer.

If you prefer to venture outside to enjoy the view, the private back yard has ample seating and an outdoor hot tub. Enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or grill fresh salmon on the gas grill.

Beverly Beach is just a short walk down the hill and beach access is under the bridge at Spencer Creek. When you reach the beach, look left to see the Lighthouse at Yaquina Head. To the right is Otter Rock and just a mile's walk to surfing, Devil's Punch Bowl State Natural Area, and amazing tidepooling at the Marine Gardens. When you return, feel free to use the outdoor foot shower. You may notice glittering strings hanging outside the front door; they keep the barn swallows from nesting in the entry way so please leave them in place.

Adorable newer apartment in Nye Beach 3 blocks from the ocean! 5 minute stroll to shops, restaurants, and the beach. This bright and secluded apartment is fully furnished with new furniture and has a private entrance. Bathroom and kitchenette downstairs with queen bed, loveseat, closet with shelves, and bistro set upstairs. Windows on all sides with a view of the ocean out the west. Cathedral ceilings and very private on a quiet corner. Feels like you are in a tree house. WiFi included.

The space:
Cypress Cottage sits on a peaceful corner with gravel roads. The house has cedar shingles and bright turquoise doors. A spectacular 100+ year old Spanish Cypress adorns the property.

You enter the mud room complete with coat hooks, shoe cubbies, chairs, and a basket full of fun ideas and brochures of Things To Do in our region. You will most likely be greeted by my adorable black kitty, Willard.

Directly across the entry door is your apartment. You enter into the fully stocked kitchenette with the bathroom off to the side. To your left are the stairs that lead to the living space with cathedral ceilings, windows on all 4 sides, queen size bed, loveseat, coffee table, reading light, Smart Tv with Roku and a fully articulating arm, closet with hangers and built in shelves, extra pillows, blankets, and comforter, weighted blanket, full length mirror, TV tables, tower fan, iron/board, and vacuum.

Enjoy the ambience of the salt lamp, wall sconces, and diffuser supplied with dōTERRA essential oils.

*Note: There is no water upstairs. The bathroom and kitchenette are on the first floor.

Guest access:
Parking is abundant and free in my neighborhood. You have a designated parking space in the driveway directly in front of the apartment. Please be careful when parking and do not hit the potted flowers in front of the house. There is actually 22 feet of driveway FROM THE FLOWER POTS TO THE STREET: 17 feet of driveway and another 5 feet to the unpaved single lane road. Plenty of space for your car/truck/SUV.
You can walk or ride your bike to the beach and all around town. Almost everything is within a 5 minute car drive-grocery store, the Bayfront, movie theater, aquarium, etc.

My favorite hidden path to the beach is right around the corner from my place. It is a tree lined wooded path along Nye Creek the starts on Nye Street across from the Betty Wheeler Baseball fields and ends at the Sam Moore Parkway with a kids playground and the skate park. From there you are a 1/2 block to Nye Beach shops and the ocean. *Check out the map at the top of the stairs. Enjoy!

If you are booking a stay Monday -Thursday and would like to schedule a massage appointment, just let me know. I am currently booked out about 3 months and my office is located 5 minutes from the apartment.

I am an animal lover! I am blessed to be a companion to a gorgeous kitty named Willard, who will most likely come up to greet you at some point during your stay. Because of my companion and that there is no access to the yard and the apartment is not set up for animals, NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. There is a $500/night extra charge for any pets brought onto the property. Thank you so much for understanding and respecting this house rule.

I also adore children, and due to safety reasons and city limit restrictions, my space is not available to them. It is not suitable for infants, toddlers, or kids at all. There is no baby gate at the stairs, covers on the plugs, or other safety precautions for children. FOR SAFETY REASONS AND CITY LIMIT RESTRICTIONS , THE APARTMENT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO 2 ADULTS. This adorable cottage sits on the owner's larger property, but has been very thoughtfully designed and furnished to provide a wonderfully private getaway. The lower level has a nicely-appointed kitchen (all the usual appliances, except a counter top toaster oven instead of a traditional full oven), a bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, and a full bath.
The upper loft-style level has a sitting area, writing desk, and queen sleeper sofa, making this cottage ideal for a small family or two couples. We found a few pieces of trim that were loose or falling off and the bathtub drains didn't drain very well but that was really the only issues we had. Whales can often be seen through the windows or from the deck. We are right between the Yaquina Lighthouse and Moolack Beach with
beach access shared with nearby cottages just north of the cottage. There is an easy beach access point to drive to nearby.

A quaint cottage with million dollar views of the ocean. From the bluff one can see the Yaquina lighthouse to Cape Foulweather and Otter Rock. The cottage sits on the ocean bluff, about 120 feet above the beach with spectacular views.
You will be amazed by the ocean roar and smells!
Bring binoculars! You may find it alluring to just sit watching for whales and the occasional bald eagle from the cottage and large deck, especially on sunny days.
The Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area boasts a permanent population of many grey and migrating whales, which come very close to the coastline due to a reef (about a quarter mile out).
The location is quiet and private, with a rural feel, yet just a few minutes by car to all the attractions, restaurants, and services. US hi-way 101 is just a few hundred feet away.
The home is very clean, well furnished and maintained, with a complete kitchen, washer, and dryer. There is a shower/bath combination. The cottage has been nearly fully renovated recently. There is a large deck to relax in the sun on and watch spectacular sunsets.
You will enjoy just gazing out the large picture windows for hours while having your morning coffee or tea.
Tea, coffee, water, and a few snacks are provided for your convenience.

While at our cottage, we require housekeeping weekly if our home is occupied fully with more than a single individual; Guests will be charged 90.00 per cleaning.
If there is a single guest or part-time added guest staying over 1 or 2 months the fee is 125.00 every 2 weeks. This will also require an owner rental agreement. Guest parking is near the front door and north side of our cottage. There is a short staircase (4-5 steps) up to the house and front door.
There is a private beach access by way of a path north of the homes. Please be aware you must be fairly sure footed and agile to take the path. It is great fun and takes a few minutes. It is accessible in good weather. Several other access points are a short drive away or walk away.
We do have room for a midsized boat next to the home.
All garbage bins must be placed out on Thursday eve for Friday am. They will go out 15 feet from the front of the east edge of the home.

The home is located on the north end of the city of Newport, in a rural beach setting, just a few minutes to anything needed.

Cars are the best form of transportation but the city bus line runs just south of the property about a half mile. There is room to ride your bike along the paved shoulder of Highway 101 too. Highway 101 is a busy two lane highway.

Newport is a great destination point and central place to venture from to see so much of the Oregon Coast.
Devil's Punchbowl is just a few miles north, several lighthouses are within about 30 minutes drive, including the Yaquina Lighthouse that you can see from the deck and can tour and climb, which is the tallest in Oregon. The Water Front; Nye Beach stores, pubs and restaurants; the aquarium, museums, breweries, fishing, crabbing, and the beach are a few of the fun activities.
Depoe Bay is only about 10 minutes north and the water front the same south. We are so centrally located.

Built in 1910 as summer cottages, this is a small, charming, rustic and historic bungalow right in the heart of the hip Nye Beach District. This is an historic, small beach cottage built in 1910. Mermaid Manor has a living/dining area with glimpses of the ocean, a cooktop (no oven) small fridge, coffee pot & microwave. 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed. A sofa bed and a small bathroom. Mermaid-centric with a small deck with sitting area in front.

Beach Bum Bungalows is now offering the free use of crab rings, buckets and measuring devices if you would like to try your hand a catching Dungeness crab ( our local specialty) off any the three public crabbing piers in Newport! The space
Located in in the heart of the historic Nye Beach neighborhood this beach house will surely win you over. The house is only a three minute walk to the beach, and even closer to several pubs, restraunts, cafes, and boutiques. The house is located across from a city park with a large playground, a nature trail, and a skateboarding park. The house is very well equipped it has Wifi, blue tooth Bose music, many streaming services such as: Fubo (sports package), Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney Plus, and Apple TV, Wii gaming system, 4 flat screens and 4 blue ray players with hundreds of DVD titles to choose from, including kids movies. In the kitchen you will find that the condiments, spices, coffee, and tea have been provided for you, as well as everything you would need to create a home cooked meal including an air fryer, and an instapot. The garage has a list of amenities that will keep you busy the whole time you are visiting including: ping pong, crabbing gear, clam guns, fishing poles, crab cooker, footballs, basketballs, baseballs, soccer balls, 6 skateboards, two scooters, bad mitten, horseshoes, corn hole, bocce ball, ladder ball, skim board, boogie board, surf boards, sand toys, beach chairs, cooler, BBQ, and a variety of quality bikes for all ages and sizes of people. If the weather isn't cooperating there is every board/card game under the sun found in the game closet, along with random novels soduko, crosswords, coloring books, and a small section of local history books and DVD's. This house also come with baby gates, pack and play crib, walker, baby toys, booster seat, potty seat, baby bath, jogger stroller, baby monitors. This home is also a pet friendly property, meaning nobody has to stay behind. A few miles to the North is the Yaquina Head light house, tide pools, and Agate Beach Golf Course. To the south you will find the Oregon Coast Aquarium, South Beach State park, OSU Marine Science Center, Yaquina Bay bridge, the Rogue Brewery, and Newports Historic bayfront.

An oceanfront cottage with stunning ocean views in a convenient yet peaceful and quiet setting awaits any Newport vacationer anxious to see Oregon's beautiful Beverly Beach. Whales can often be seen through the windows or from the deck. We are right between the Yaquina Lighthouse and Moolack Beach with
beach access shared with nearby cottages just north of the cottage. There is an easy beach access point to drive to nearby.

The space
A quaint cottage with million dollar views of the ocean. From the bluff one can see the Yaquina lighthouse to Cape Foulweather and Otter Rock. The cottage sits on the ocean bluff, about 120 feet above the beach with spectacular views.
You will be amazed by the ocean roar and smells!
Bring binoculars! You may find it alluring to just sit watching for whales and the occasional bald eagle from the cottage and large deck, especially on sunny days.
The Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area boasts a permanent population of many grey and migrating whales, which come very close to the coastline due to a reef (about a quarter mile out).
The location is quiet and private, with a rural feel, yet just a few minutes by car to all the attractions, restaurants, and services. US hi-way 101 is just a few hundred feet away.
The home is very clean, well furnished and maintained, with a complete kitchen, washer, and dryer. There is a shower/bath combination. The cottage has been nearly fully renovated recently. There is a large deck to relax in the sun on and watch spectacular sunsets.
You will enjoy just gazing out the large picture windows for hours while having your morning coffee or tea.
Tea, coffee, water, and a few snacks are provided for your convenience.

While at our cottage, we require housekeeping weekly if our home is occupied fully with more than a single individual; Guests will be charged 90.00 per cleaning.
If there is a single guest or part-time added guest staying over 1 or 2 months the fee is 125.00 every 2 weeks. This will also require an owner rental agreement. Guest parking is near the front door and north side of our cottage. There is a short staircase (4-5 steps) up to the house and front door.
There is a private beach access by way of a path north of the homes. Please be aware you must be fairly sure footed and agile to take the path. It is great fun and takes a few minutes. It is accessible in good weather. Several other access points are a short drive away or walk away.
We do have room for a midsized boat next to the home.
All garbage bins must be placed out on Thursday eve for Friday am. They will go out 15 feet from the front of the east edge of the home.

Other things to note
Newport is a great destination point and central place to venture from to see so much of the Oregon Coast.
Devil's Punchbowl is just a few miles north, several lighthouses are within about 30 minutes drive, including the Yaquina Lighthouse that you can see from the deck and can tour and climb, which is the tallest in Oregon. The Water Front; Nye Beach stores, pubs and restaurants; the aquarium, museums, breweries, fishing, crabbing, and the beach are a few of the fun activities.
Depoe Bay is only about 10 minutes north and the water front the same south. We are so centrally located.

Our cozy Oregon coast cottage is located 10 minutes north of Newport and 10 minutes south of Depoe Bay by beautiful Beverly Beach State Park. Tucked into a private quiet neighborhood, the house is a 2 min. drive to the beach. Built in 2007, the house features all the modern comforts and amenities one expects and it doesn't smell moldy! We've made every effort to think of all the little things that will make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

The space
Our cottage is designed with the living room, kitchen and half bath on the main floor with both bedrooms, Jack and Jill bath and laundry closet located upstairs. With soaring vaulted ceilings, the large primary bedroom features a gas fireplace, top quality California King spring mattress and quality all cotton bed linens brushed for softness. The nautical themed second bedroom features a queen size spring mattress bed and opens on to the Jack and Jill bathroom. Both beds have duvet covers and all bedding and blankets are washed before each guests stay.
