- "The fireplace was great for relaxing in the evening. There is a squirrel/bird feeder in the back and we observed various gray squirrels and a mountain cottontail by it. We were there March 3-5 and there was still considerable snow. So no deer to be seen. The hot tub at Glaze Meadow was nice to sit in after cross country skiing, but the steam room was even better! The house was clean, well-equipped (including a nice fireplace with a great supply of firewood), and relatively close to the GMRC (where we enjoyed the swimming pool, steam room, and hot tub). If you have small children, keep in mind that there is a rather steep staircase in the house (we had to watch our 3-year old rather closely as he was very fond of that staircase). - "We had a wonderful stay at Black Butte. The view of the mountain and meadow was spectacular for our morning coffees and evening beverages. We had easy access to bike paths and we’re close enough to both main pools to ride our bikes there. There were no surprises in how the lodging looked. LENGTH OF STAY | Our properties require a minimum stay of 3-nights in the slower season and 6-nights in the peak season. If you wish to check availability outside of those perimeters, or are having difficulty booking on-line, please contact us.

When you book this retreat, you and your group are granted access to the resort's community amenities, including a sauna, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a tennis court. The location of this home is incredibly convenient - it's one of the closest homes to the Big Glaze Meadow pool, rec center, golf course.

Climb a flight of stairs to reach the main living area of the home, which features a sunny living room, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. The space has unique arquitectural elements that make this home stand out from the rest - vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, carpeted and tiled floors throughout, and beautiful stairs. The living room makes for a great conversation area with comfortable seating. From here, you can access a spacious balcony overlooking the trees. The luxury kitchen is all about stainless steel appliances, including a double-door fridge, dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, and a sparkling center island. The dining area offers direct access to a well-appointed deck, furnished with a dining table, a firepit, and a propane grill for warm-weather barbecues.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Returning home to cook in the fabulously appointed kitchen or grill on the spacious patio. The kitchen is stocked with all of your cooking needs. Wind down in the new hot tub or spa-like baths and take in a movie on the flat screen with surround sound while enjoying a fire.

There are board games, books and DVD's for all ages and vinyl records with a turntable for those evening you want to stay in. Follow all of this with a restful nights sleep on all new beds. This is THE place!

This was a good fit for us. Six adults, two children under 10, and one infant. The home is newly built so very modern and clean. There is plenty of dishware, silverware, pans, etc. in the kitchen. There are towels for use with the hot tub. The hot tub is located on a large wrap around patio that has a table and chairs for pleasant outdoor eating and relaxing. The home is located about a 10 minute walk from the Glaze Meadow Rec Center/Pool and about a 15 minute walk to the South Meadow pool. Both walks are an easy and enjoyable way to get to the pools. The pictures and descriptions in the rental listing do a great job of portraying what the house looks like. We had a very comfortable experience and are very happy to have found this house for our growing family."
