- "The fireplace was great for relaxing in the evening. There is a squirrel/bird feeder in the back and we observed various gray squirrels and a mountain cottontail by it. We were there March 3-5 and there was still considerable snow. So no deer to be seen. The hot tub at Glaze Meadow was nice to sit in after cross country skiing, but the steam room was even better! The house was clean, well-equipped (including a nice fireplace with a great supply of firewood), and relatively close to the GMRC (where we enjoyed the swimming pool, steam room, and hot tub). If you have small children, keep in mind that there is a rather steep staircase in the house (we had to watch our 3-year old rather closely as he was very fond of that staircase). - "We had a wonderful stay at Black Butte. The view of the mountain and meadow was spectacular for our morning coffees and evening beverages. We had easy access to bike paths and we’re close enough to both main pools to ride our bikes there. There were no surprises in how the lodging looked. The loft bedroom upstairs was perfect for the kids and both sets of parents had a comfortable private room. The bathrooms were small but true to what was advertised in the images. There are towels for use with the hot tub. The hot tub is located on a large wrap around patio that has a table and chairs for pleasant outdoor eating and relaxing. The home is located about a 10 minute walk from the Glaze Meadow Rec Center/Pool and about a 15 minute walk to the South Meadow pool. Both walks are an easy and enjoyable way to get to the pools. The pictures and descriptions in the rental listing do a great job of portraying what the house looks like. We had a very comfortable experience and are very happy to have found this house for our growing family."

BICYCLES | We do not guarantee the use of bicycles with the rental of our homes, but you can explore the 23.4 miles of bike paths by renting a bicycle at the Glaze Meadow Recreational Center's Bike Shop.

LENGTH OF STAY | Our properties require a minimum stay of 3-nights in the slower season and 6-nights in the peak season. If you wish to check availability outside of those perimeters, or are having difficulty booking on-line, please contact us.

VRBO | If you book with VRBO, your Reservation is confirmed with VRBO and transferred to Black Butte Realty Group. All VRBO bookings are subject to VRBO fees in addition to our set fees.

SECURITY DEPOSIT | A security deposit is needed for each reservation. If there is not any damage determined at our closing inspection, 100% of your Security Deposit will be returned within 10 - 14 business days of your departure.

BBR RESORT ACCESS | All guest vehicles must be registered at the Black Butte Ranch Welcome Center upon arrival. Your Access Fee to all the Black Butte Ranch amenities will be included in your Reservation charges and is based on a percentage of your nightly Rental rate. This fee allows all parties in your group to access all Black Butte Ranch amenities. You no longer need to pay a daily access fee for each member in your party.

CANCELLATION POLICY | Cancellation Requests received in writing at least 30 days prior to your arrival date will be refunded 100%. Requests received less than 30 days before the arrival date are not eligible for a refund. If you need to cancel at the last minute, you will have the choice to transfer your payments to an alternate booking in the same house during the same calendar year. If you made your reservation with a third-party booking agent, you may have a separate Cancellation policy with that agent.

PROPERTY ADDRESS | KEY ACCESS | Four days prior to your arrival date you will receive the property's physical address and the code to retrieve the door key from the lock box.

Our cabin is a centrally located within Black Butte Ranch. The property is located on a corner lot at the end of a quiet road no through traffic. Surrounded by large Ponderosa Pines, the cabin also has some filtered views of Black Butte summit from the front. As a renter of our cabin you will have free access to Black Butte Ranches many amenities. The property is conveniently located for easy access to bike paths and is within walking distance to popular Glaze Meadow Recreation Center and Aspen Lake. Glaze Meadow Recreation Center includes indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hottub, spa, fitness area with cardio and weight lifting equipment, tennis courts, basketball court, bocci ball, pickle ball, and playgrounds. The bikepath off the back of the cabin also connects renters to 18 miles of bikepaths throughout the ranch. While on the bikepaths you will discover three other outdoor pools named Lodge Pool, Paulina Pool, and South Meadow Pool. You will also discover tennis courts, play grounds, basketball courts, horseback riding, fly fishing, two golf courses, and small lakes within the ranch. Paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks can be rented at the lodgepool near the lakeside.

The cabin is a two story 1,237 square feet cabin with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is tastefully decorated. One bedroom has a king bed, one bedroom has a queen bed, and one bedroom has a bunkbed with a full on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The king bed is located on the first floor while the other two bedrooms are located upstairs.

There are two bathrooms, one located on the first floor and the other located upstairs. Both bathrooms have showers while the upstairs has a bathtub.

One of the nicest features of the cabin are the two decks that overlook large greenspaces, ponderosa pines, and the bikepath that leads to recreation areas. The first floor deck is the larger of the two and is located near the kitchen. The larger deck is well appointed with a gas propane BBQ, outdoor table, and patio seating for eight. At night, patio has banister lighting that can be plugged in creating a magical ambiance while watching the stars. The upper deck is located off the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed. The upper deck is a great spot to overlook the surroundings or escape to read a book.

The cabin is equipped with two flat screen tv's (one in the living room and one in the bunkbed rooom). The cabin also has a video library, wifi, and cable.

The cabin is within easy access outside the ranch to world class fly fishing on the Metolius River, family skiing at Hoodoo Ski Bowl, water sports at Suttle Lake, Shopping at Sisters, and hundreds of miles of hiking trails around Mt. Washington and Three Finger Jack Wilderness Areas, Big Lake, Black Butte, and throughout the Deschutes National Forest. Willing to travel within an hour from the cabin can take you to Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Smith Rock, dozens of mountain golf courses, lakes and waterfalls.

*Effective April 1, 2016 the Black Butte Ranch access fee increased to $8 per person per day for those 7 years old and over, payable to the Welcome Center on arrival.

Three-level home with hot tub sleeps up to 10 and is conveniently located near Glaze Meadow Recreation area with sport shop, pool and tennis courts.
On the ground floor is the living area which features a central block-style fireplace, a wide selection of books, TV with HD cable/sound bar/DVD player and a stereo with CD cassette. There is also wireless internet throughout the house. The dining area seats 6-8 (a table leaf is in the hall closet). A sliding glass door opens onto a partially shielded deck with gas BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new stainless steel appliances, and there is a folding table and chairs if additional seating is required. The bedroom downstairs has a King bed, a full bath with shower, and TV with cable and a DVD/VCR player. A sliding glass door accesses the back deck and hot tub. A half bathroom is in the hall. On the second floor are two bedrooms; one with a Queen and one with two twins. A full bath and laundry area are in the hall. On the third level is the loft which has two sets of bunks and a small play area. Garage has space for all of your gear.

As of January 1st, 2024: Black Butte Ranch charges a guest access fee equal to12% of the nightly rate for full access to pools, tennis courts, bike paths and Ranch facilities. This amount is paid at the time of booking, and will be paid to Black Butte Ranch on your behalf.

This spacious home offers a large primary with en suite bathroom, expansive kitchen with 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, and a double oven with gas range. The wood burning fireplace in the large main living space has propane assist for easy fire starting. The two tables in the main living area mean you don't have to clean up your puzzle to have dinner! The upstairs has one king bed, a room with two twins, and a closet with a crib. The loft area has a TV room, a twin day bed with a twin trundle, and a queen bed up a ship's ladder. All bedrooms have blackout curtains. There are bikes of multiple sizes available for use in the garage. If you catch a snowy weekend, the sledding hill directly behind the house can't be beat! The house is just a half hour drive from Hoodoo. There is a full size washer/dryer unit available next to the kitchen. One of our favorite activities is walking to the natural spring just down the hill by Paulina pool then across the wooden bridge to the meadow for mountain views and maybe some animal sightings! Year round amenities on the ranch include over 20 miles of paved bike trails, multiple dirt nature trails for peaceful walks, an indoor pool with water slide, two outdoor hot tubs, and restaurants. The quiet cul-de-sac connects to nearby bike and walking paths allowing easy access to the resort's recreation areas and eateries. The Private Suite is located across from the 14th fairway of the Big Meadow Golf Course. In the winter the entire golf course becomes your private cross-country ski trail. Within easy walking distance from the house one can enjoy beautiful views of Central Oregon mountain peaks, including the ranch's namesake, Black Butte. Photography and painting are at their best when viewing the awe-inspiring natural beauty of this unparalleled mountain backdrop. A small deck is located directly off the hallway leading into the Private Suite and is your own space to bask in the sun, enjoy crisp mornings drinking coffee, or star gazing at night. Nature and hiking books are available to plan your outdoor adventures. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, drip coffee pot, coffee and filters, a hot water kettle and tea. In addition, there is a salad spinner, microwavable omelet maker, strainer, salt and pepper, cutting boards and other useful amenities. Adjacent to the bedroom is a large well-equipped bathroom. A designated parking space is provided for your use outside. You have a private, locking entrance into the Suite through the garage and a private hallway. A coat rack area with shoe/boot trays are available for your personal items to dry after a day of skiing and having fun playing in the snow. We welcome Traveling Nurses & Remote Workers. Guest access
Guests will have access to the Private Suite through a private locking entrance. Guests will be given a lockbox code to access the key to operate the deadbolt lock on the garage man door.

During your stay
The main house is occupied by the homeowner, but the entire Suite is private and contact with the homeowner is not necessary when you check-in, check-out, or during your stay. The host is available by text, email, or the Airbnb booking page during your stay for any questions that come up.

Other things to note
Checking in to Kramer's Korner Private Suite is a two-step process. The first step is at the BBR Welcome Center. The second step is at Kramer's Korner Private Suite, GH149. GH149 is setup for contactless check-in and check-out.

This spacious property comfortably sleeps 11 guests. The home features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with each bedroom offering its own sink and toilet. Bedrooms 4 and 5 share a shower, as do bedrooms 2 and 3, ensuring convenience and privacy.

On a warm afternoon step outside onto the scenic patio, grill up a delicious meal and enjoy the views that Central Oregon has to offer. Or at the end of an adventurous day, cozy up and stargaze under the open sky.

Additional amenities include a cozy fireplace for colder months, ample storage throughout the home, and convenient parking options with a spacious driveway.

Situated in a sought-after community, this home provides the perfect blend of tranquility and recreation. Enjoy all the perks that Black Butte Ranch has to offer, along with essential amenities and outdoor activities.

There is a split level/ductless system unit on the second floor. There is not AC throughout the entire home only on the second floor.

Please note, Black Butte Ranch stays will be charged a % fee based on your total reservation. This will be paid upon booking your reservation, not onsite. This fee provides access to the community and its amenities, as well as helping to maintain the pools, bike paths, and other recreational activities. When you arrive at Black Butte, please visit the welcome center to get your gate access code.

Glaze and South Meadow pools are both within walking distance. At Glaze Meadow, you can indulge in the spa facilities (pool, hot tub, sauna, massage, yoga) or activities such as tennis and golf. You and your family and friends can enjoy exploring ranch trails on foot, or by bicycle or horseback.

For those who crave a cozy evening at home, our kitchen is stocked with the essentials, and entertainment options including a 4K TV, cable, blu-ray player and board games. All the coffee essentials are available so that you can start your day off right.
