It is constantly improving and we experience many weeks on end with no issues and some of the highest internet speeds available on the market, however, we wanted to provide you with accurate information and encourage you to do your own research on Starlink's performance. - "Timber Moon Getaway was just the relaxing time I was looking for. The house is beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There was a spice drawer and a cupboard with miscellaneous oils and vinegars. Even had oatmeal and waffle mix. The sound in the house travels though due to open concept, so not a lot of privacy. I could hear the family members up stairs pretty well. The only thing I would of liked was a TV downstairs. The check in was so easy. They have tutorials on everything you need to know. One more thing, the river is not as close as I thought either. Despite those things I mentioned I would definitely stay there again. Amazing time"

The River Bend Lodge certainly lives up to its name - a shady, wooded spot directly across from a waterfall in the Columbia Gorge area better! Rent this Washougal River vacation home and you’ll never want to leave. Oh yeah, and there’s a hot tub.

Builty by hand in 1972, this cabin accommodates up to eight guests comfortably. Enjoy a dramatic, two-story rock fireplace in cooler temps and a furnished deck on warm afternoons.

The lodge is built into the side of a hill, so you'll enter on the upper level, through the carport (that has room for two vehicles). Upon entering, make sure to slip off your shoes as this is a tread-free home. Plus, it’s more relaxing!

Gather on the deck to check in with your friends as the sun sets. Late at night, why not zone out in the media room, with its chaise and 60-inch plasma TV with Blu-ray and streaming Netflix? The chaise sofa also converts into a queen-size bed for those sleeping in this room.

You may prefer to sit quietly by the tall native rock, wood-burning fireplace and gaze out at the panoramic of the waterfall and Washougal River. This vista will surely lure you outdoors, where there’s croquet, a horseshoe pit, and even whitewater rafting and tubing nearby.

The surrounding forest is part of a 26-acre family compound that is shared with Eva's Cottage, a getaway for four that can be rented together with River Bend Lodge. Eva's descendants steward the land and maintain the forest with an eye to the enjoyment of future generations. There are four trails that wind through the property, so be sure to bring your hiking boots!

- "Better than pictures" - "We flew into Portland, rented a car & stayed four nights. The scenery and cabin were both gorgeous! We could have happily just stayed at the cabin the entire time. The only drawback for us is that we arrived in Portland separately so there were a couple of 2:00 a.m. trips to the airport. Due to the narrow, curvy roads & rainy conditions the trip took closer to 40 minutes each time. Our party of five was impressed with the cabin's features. The stone fireplace is stunning! As I said before we would have had a fire, but didn't get the message to the correct number. There is no cell phone coverage, but we were able to communicate using Wi-Fi & Apps to stay in contact with other local family. There is also a landline in the cabin. "

I was concerned about a shared wall since this is a townhouse, but there is a law office on the other side. Nice and quiet. This property is clean, updated, and nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable and there is a lovely outdoor space behind the townhouse. The upstairs TV is a little tricky bc it's hooked up to a PlayStation but my brother figured it out. Also there is no bathroom on the first floor; and when the listing says it might not be suitable for ppl with mobility issues, believe them. There are 2 sets of stairs you have to navigate regularly. We found the garage with no problem. One of the best things about this rental is the location. There is a ton of stuff within waling distance of this place and it is such a nice area. We loved it! I will say there is considerable street noise on the street side of the house but it dies down at night so it wasn't an issue for us. The hosts provided coffee and toiletries and were very responsive. This was an amazing place."

Come stay in our renovated home on 1.5 acres in Orchards, Vancouver. Conveniently located 10 minutes from I-205, the interior of the home features an open floor plan with two living spaces, dining room, laundry area, and a kitchen with updated appliances and many kitchen accessories for all your cooking needs. Its a great place for a whole family to stay or to meet up with family from out of town. The home has many games, puzzles, cable and smart TV for inside entertainment.

We have a jacuzzi right outside the back door under cover and an amazing 1.25 acres of private forested park perfect for morning walks, or for the family to just run around. It features a backyard gazebo and lounge furniture, seasonal vegetable garden, open grass areas, a bamboo forest path, and another outdoor seating area with a picnic bench and fire pit (when conditions are allow). There is one parking spot in the covered parking at the house and then many additional spots in the back gravel parking area for other vehicles. The property does have an outdoor surveillance system. The home is located with in walking distance to a neighborhood park and bike trails and is a 5 minute drive to many grocery stores and within 10 minute drive to Vancouver mall. Conveniently located only 10 minutes away from the 205, it makes it a great location to visit many Pacific Northwest day adventures, such as Hood River, Columbia River, Portland, PDX Airport, and beyond.

Nestled on the banks just above the North Fork of the Washougal River, this wonderful retreat is the perfect place to get away from it all. The surrounding beauty and tranquil sounds are something to experience any time of the year.

Upon arriving you are greeted with a long circular driveway leading to the cabin make it perfect for multiple cars even if towing a trailer or boat. The front deck offers some comfy casual seating with one of the two fire-tables available for your enjoyment.

As you enter through the front door, you are immediately ensconced in a cabin feel that radiates warmth and comfort. The open floor plan combines the living, dining, and kitchen layout creating a fantastic space for your small group or family to enjoy and make memories together. Every piece of the décor and furnishing was curated to help create that perfect blend of cabin style and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped for any of your culinary desires. Also tucked away in the corner is a wood burning stove. If you are travelling with kiddos do be careful as it does get incredibly warm when in use.

One of the best amenities has to be the backyard deck. It extends out and practically hangs over the river below. You can hear the water rush across and around the rocks and fallen trees which makes for the perfect backdrop to take in all the other sights and sounds of the forests beyond. The round fire-table makes for a great spot to consume any of your grilling creations from the nearby BBQ as well.

Ascending upstairs, you'll find the two bedrooms. One is a traditional style bedroom with a king bed. Just off one side there is a small deck with seating room for two. The other bedroom has a twin over twin bunk bed and a small half bath attached to it.

Welcome to The Log House! This dog friendly, gorgeous, 2,634 sq foot home sits on 5 private forested acres in Ridgefield Washington. Near many wineries, hiking, and ilani Casino. Only 35 minutes from the Portland airport. The home comes with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen comes stocked with equipment for cooking and baking. There is a gaming area with lots of board games, puzzles, and a jukebox! The property has many areas to explore, game, and sit with coffee and a good book. The Log House is in the (close in) country. We have five acres and so do all the neighbors. Many of the neighbors have working farms with farm animals, like chickens and horses. We are only 10 to 15 minutes from wineries, hiking, kayaking, golf, horseback riding, shopping, and ilani casino.

Guests are welcomed by a circular driveway with parking. Upon first arriving and walking through the front door, you will be stunned by the beauty of this very unique home. Inside you will find room to spread out and relax, a jaw-dropping floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and a wall-to-wall windowed view overlooking the home’s private forest on the back of the property.

Off the living room, the master bedroom is on the ground floor with a King size bed, 65” TV, and has views of the forest and a deck. The master bathroom has a shower and a separate jacuzzi bathtub.

Upstairs in the loft that overlooks the living room, there is a second King size bed, desk with workspace, and 42" TV. All TVs have Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Youtube.

The main floor has an open floor plan. The dining room has an oversized dining table and a queen-sized murphy bed. In the living room, there is a Queen size pull-out bed that is very comfortable and sits in front of a 25-foot high lodge style stone fireplace.

Next to the living room is the gaming area, with a table, many board games, puzzles, and a jukebox loaded with a fun mix of music genres.

Guests have private access to the entire house and property, with the exception of the private driveway that leads to the private attached apartment. I will probably greet you when you arrive, but unless you need my assistance, you probably won't see me after that. I live in the attached private apartment part-time and I'm mostly not home during the day. I also travel quite often for work, but there will always be someone available to assist you if you need help with something.

Because this is our personal home as well, we do not rent it out for longer than two weeks at a time.

You'll have a great time at this secluded riverfront property in the Yacolt Burn State Forest, perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, a workation, or weekend with the guys/gals!

Riverscape is located on 0.67 acres, set far back from the road and next to the Washougal River. Beautiful Dougan Falls, Naked Falls and Reeder Falls are a few minutes drive away!

The wrap-around deck provides a covered area for outdoor dining (propane BBQ grill provided) and a sitting area which includes a propane gas fire pit table and propane outdoor heater.

Relax under the stars in the 6-person hot tub that overlooks the Washougal River.

A circular stone fire pit is located on the property, perfect for toasting marshmallows or hot dogs. Roasting sticks and wood are provided.

Enjoy watching a variety of birds that frequent the trees and hanging birdfeeders placed around the home. We even have 3 bald eagles that often make appearances!

AMENITIES:

Starlink high-speed internet available throughout the property via a mesh Wi-Fi network.

There is a computer work station equipped with two 27-inch monitors, a choice of two HP docking stations, keyboard and a mouse with wrist pad.

Each bedroom has a television with Roku streaming services. Sign-in with your personal account to watch Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc.

Each bedroom has an AC unit, during the summer months.

Every bed is prepared with luxury 800 thread count cotton sateen sheet sets, 100% Natural Talalay Latex pillows (hypoallergenic even for guests with a latex allergy!) and down-alternative duvets.

Landline telephone available for domestic and emergency calls. Cell phones work using Wi-Fi calling (Verizon is the only network I have seen that has been able to make and receive phone calls on the property using cellular data).

DOG OWNERS (2 max):

Dogs are absolutely welcome at Riverscape! The lot is fully fenced; bed, treats and waste bags are provided. The pet fee is $75 for up to a 7-day stay. Since VRBO does not yet provide variable fee settings, the fee will will be manually adjusted up to an amount of $300, for 29 day stay. *NOTE* Pets must not be left alone in the house for any amount of time during your stay.

There is no fee for service animals; documentation must be provided to the host upon booking. Emotional support animals do not qualify for a fee waiver.

RIVER ACCESS: There is no river access at this property, but Dougan Falls and Naked Falls are just up the road and have delightful swimming holes.

FISHING: There is no fishing from the property as it is one mile upriver from the hatchery, which is a designated spawning area. Fishing is allowed downriver from the hatchery with the appropriate license.

Riverscape is accessible by car, located about an hour's drive from Portland/Vancouver. Parking is on site for up to 4 vehicles, including a designated spot for Level 1 EV charging.

Washougal and Camas are a 30 minute drive each way, so it is highly recommended to do grocery shopping for your stay before you get to the house. There is a local general store, Washougal River Mercantile, located 7 miles from the house for anything you forget. They also have a surprisingly good wine section!

HOUSE RULES:

-A house manual will be available in the property.

- No smoking, vaping or drug use of any kind is allowed anywhere on the property. A violation shall be fined $250.

-Parties are not allowed. Everyone in your group (max 8) must be accounted for in your reservation, including pets (max 2 dogs). Any noise or disturbance complaints from the neighbors will result in a $500 fine.

-It is understood and agreed that the owner of the property will not be liable for any damages or injury to guests or other occupants and their property from whatever cause arising from the occupancy of the property, including the use of on property amenities.

-The property is pet friendly, however, pets are not allowed on the furniture. All pets must be accounted for in your reservation. Pet waste must be collected and disposed of.

-If there is any damage to the property, furniture or any items on the property, a repair, replacement or special cleaning fee will be charged accordingly.

-HOT TUB: Please shower before entering. Do not use bubble bath, oils or salts in the hot tub.

-We are on a septic system, so please do not put anything other than toilet paper into the toilets.

-We do have recording RING security cameras on the premises. They will be used during the check-in and check-out periods. These must not be covered or otherwise tampered with.

-Allow the host to address concerns during your stay. Contact the host immediately if there is any problem or dissatisfaction.

-Campfires are allowed in the designated fire pit only when permitted by law. No fires during burning bans. No bonfires are allowed.

-For your safety, there is no river access at this time. Please do not climb over or otherwise try to bypass gates to access the river.

ANY violation of a house rule will be subject to immediate cancellation of your reservation - without refund.

Highly recommend The Puffin Cafe in Camas!
It is a houseboat on the Columbia River with a wonderful view of Mt Hood on a sunny day. 25 minutes away.

One of my favorite hikes on this side is only 20 minutes away and it's called Rodney Falls. You get to the falls after hiking 1.4 miles. If you're very adventurous you can go to the top of the mountain which is called Hamilton Mountain.

It is the Old Historic Hiway that meanders along the Columbia River in the most beautiful part of the Gorge. No vehicles allowed. ( You can rent bicycles in Hood River and they will direct you to the Mark Hatfield Trailhead.

Waterfall (URL HIDDEN) Oregon..35 minutes away
After you cross the Bridge of the Gods... go west on 84.
If you want to go to Wachella Falls take exit 40… It'll say fish hatchery.
You will see signs to park.

Take Exit 35 to get to WATERFALL ALLEY
It is called the Old Historic Highway.
Horse Tail Falls is wonderful because you don't have to hike it is just right there. A little further down historic highway… Is Onie onto Falls that you also might enjoy getting out and taking a picture there. I'm not too familiar with that one though. Going on down waterfall Allie the next stop will be Multnomah Falls... It is even a beautiful view just to walk up the first few flight of stairs and take a picture by the Rock wall. If you go little further you will get to the bridge and that is always a wonderful picture.

Other trails such as Triple Falls, Angel and Devil's Rest.

Wakeena falls is the next Falls to explore and see going west on the historic highway. You can hike up Wakeena Falls and hike over to the top of Multnomah Falls to hike down it. It is my favorite one to hike.

If you continue to go west you will get to the little town called Bridal veil. Many couples mail their invitations from this small little town. Going west on 84 is another way to get into Portland if you decide to hike first and then go to Portland.

There is a variety activities for you to do here you can either go into Portland which is 40 minutes away or you can go the other direction and go on many hikes in the Columbia Gorge. Rivers Rest is only five minutes from the Columbia Gorge. We do have a notebook full of activities and ideas for guests and will help you get to the specific destination you desire.

The Gorge Onsen is a tastefully renovated 1940’s craftsman bungalow and spa in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. 30 minutes from PDX, this gated property features two saunas, a spring-fed, chemical-free cedar hot tub, cold plunge, outdoor shower, tea & yoga room, 2 dedicated workspaces, a kitchen and downstairs kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, fast wifi, 2 TV’s & extensive VHS collection. The Gorge Onsen is located just off the Columbia River on a small neighborhood road.

At the heart of our space are wellness facilities including a tea room, yoga room/treatment room with a two person infarred sauna. yoga mats, bolster, straps and blocks are provided for guests to use.

Just outside is a spring fed, chemical-free, deep cedar barrel hot tub set to 103F and an adjacent claw foot cold plunge. Steps away is an outdoor shower and 6 person wood fired sauna house.

The yard features a menagerie of edible plants- fruit trees, blueberry bushes, grape vines and a large organic garden during summer months.

They love this property and genuinely want others to get to enjoy it. It is hard to overstate the beauty of this property. Waterfall views from inside and outside the house. Stunning grounds with flowers, lawns...beauty everywhere. The lighting is magical. The river access is amazing. If you want to be near nature, but want a very comfy stay, this is the place for you! The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Beds were great (I'm picky about mattresses) and there's a great selection of pillows to find your perfect one. The living room couch is so comfy. The kitchen is super well equipped (we cooked for a party of 50 with no trouble) and there are two standard sized refrigerators, plus a small fridge as well. As an outdoor event space, this place is amazing. The house would be great for a smaller indoor event, but we had lots of people, so kept it outside. There are so many amazing places to enjoy on the property...something for everyone. The hosts provided us tables and chairs, which was so great. No one wanted to leave our event and our family didn't want to leave when our stay was over. We hope to return!"

River view cabin is like being in a National park. The cabin is private, this is not a shared property. You have the whole 3 acres. During salmon season you can sit in the hot tub and watch the eagles right from the deck catching fish out of the river. It is quite spectacular. You can also see many deer, beavers, and other animals from the deck. This property has a gorgeous river view. There is access to the river but it’s a steep ladder for adventurous adults. There are also many great spots to access the river up and down Washougal river rd. There are more great places to swim and hike just up the road across from the fish hatchery or Dougan falls.
The space
The downstairs has 1 bedroom with a king bed and 1 bathroom. The living room has a sleeper sofa. The two other bedrooms are upstairs which is accessed by more of a ladder than a staircase making the upstairs not a good option for elderly or people who don’t climb ladders. There is a spectacular view of the river from this property although it is 25-35 feet high without guard rails making this cabin not a good option for very small children.
Other things to note
There is 1 bedroom downstairs with a king bed. The couch in the living room also opens to a bed. The upstairs has a queen bed and a twin. The water is well water. It is filtered and has a softener, but is to salty for drinking. Their is plenty of bottled water for drinking and cooking. The well water is fine for showering. Their is also a reverse osmosis tap at the kitchen sink that is also fine for cooking. Even though the property is a bit remote, we do have neighbors, but at a distance. Their are no houses across the river. The cabin is great for relaxing and enjoying the forest and scenery. Their are many hikes and places to swim a short drive from the cabin. There is also a great Mercantile store for groceries, deli food, hot food options and take home bake pizzas about 3 min from the cabin. The cabin has been recently renovated so everything is fairly new. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 1000 square feet, with a full kitchen. For A/C and heat, we have a new HVAC, a fire stove and a washer and dryer. When it snows in Washougal the driveway may be difficult to exit as it has an incline. If there is a lot of snow and you don’t have chains I would suggest parking at the top of the driveway and walking down to the cabin, so you can exit without driving up the incline.

This was the perfect place to stay. Very conveniently located, with absolutely beautiful scenery. Lisa was fantastic to work with, very informative and incredibly prompt with her responses. The cabin was very cute and well kept, the hot tub overlooking the river was the perfect end to our days! Cozy dwelling on the Washougal River nestled in plush woodlands with the dramatically beautiful Dougan Falls located ON the property. Less than an hour from Portland Airport, this retreat offers a vibrant riverscape and access to the many forest trails or nearby Columbia Gorge--or just sit out on the riverfront deck and be soothed by the sounds of falling water and birdsong. Lots of inspiration for artists, writers, readers, thinkers, and contemplators--or just a chill getaway for someone who's been working too hard! And oh yes, the flow of the waterfall at night is wonderful to float you right into dreamland.

Our 4 bedroom house sits on 28 acres that includes Dougan Falls. As pictures reveal, this is a true getaway. The house is equipped with WiFi. There are two TVs, both with Direct TV. Very comfy beds with clean, quality bedding.

In winter it is very private and on hot summer days you will see people swimming and floating on the river. There is a deck overlooking the Washougal River that is perfect for having a BBQ. Plenty of parking and a private drive with a gate. Large enough for RVs. If you really want a get-out-of-town experience and only a short drive from Portland, this is it.

We have a Ring doorbell by the front door. Also, a driveway camera that shows the entry driveway to the street.

A cute fireplace adds to the warmth and ambience of the home. Beds were amazing. It is an older home but renovations are definitely in process. We had a total of 8 at times and never felt crowded. The sunroom is a definite plus. If there is inclement weather or just chilly, it's great to sit and watch the river while drinking your morning coffee. A book is available for directions on how to work appliances and what to do. Very helpful and detailed. My only regret is that there we didn't have more time to explore the area close to the house. Lots of trails and things to see. The home is about a 35-40 minute drive into town. There is a convenience store which is much closer for quick items. Very nice time. This welcoming residence is located in a quiet, cul-de-sac neighborhood within walking distance of a local, family-friendly neighborhood park. The house is 2133 sq. ft. in total providing plenty of space and privacy for residence.

The kitchen and living room are in an open floor layout with 9 ft. ceilings and luxury dark wood vinyl flooring on the main floor. Cleaning products (i.e., soap, sponges, hand towels, vacuum, broom and dust pan) located in communal areas like the kitchen and bathrooms are provided for your cleaning needs. House front door keys are given to each residence for easy, secure entry. All utilities are included in the monthly rental rate. Garbage, recycling and compost are conveniently emptied weekly by the owner. All communal living spaces are comfortable and professionally clean twice a month. Plenty of space for parking in the driveway. The highlight of the home is the terraced backyard with private, covered sitting areas for personal relaxation or entertaining friends.

Quiet, calm, cozy, and clean are just a few descriptions. this location is central to SR 500 which leads to I-205 or I-5. we are near many parks, restaurants, a mall, and 15 minutes towards any major attraction such as Portland Oregon. The space
I moved into this new construction home at the end 2021. I bought this house because it is in a quiet location. I am a quiet person with a quiet job that I work from home at during the daytime. My office is located upstairs next to the room.

Guest access
guests will have access to the shared laundry room upstairs. All the spaces downstairs will also be accessible as shared areas which includes, kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. there is also a half bathroom downstairs.

During your stay
socializing outside of working hours is great. I can always be reached by cell phone or text messaging.

Other things to note
For parking there are marked spaces at the end of the street. additional parking is available at the entry of the street along the yellow marked area. if both of those areas are full, parking is available along the street at the west end. I've never seen it that full though since I've lived here. Please do not park in the driveway without my permission first as I park my car in the garage. Also do not park along the north side of the street where the no parking signs are visible.

Beautifully finished house built in 2017 just minutes to Downtown Vancouver, Fort Vancouver, 15 minutes from Portland International Airport, 18 minutes to Portland downtown. Conveniently located to the highways. The highways are not so close that you can hear them, but close enough to make commute easy and pleasant. You can also walk to the ever developing of Columbia river waterfront.
