We are located just outside the central downtown area of Wenatchee tucked into two no through streets. In our 100 year old house, you’ll have a full upstairs apartment.

We love the antique hardware on the doors and kitchen cabinets, the claw foot tub and craftsman panelling in the bathroom.

We are located just outside the central downtown area of Wenatchee tucked into two no through streets. In our 100 year old house, you’ll have a full upstairs apartment.

We love the antique hardware on the doors and kitchen cabinets, the claw foot tub and craftsman panelling in the bathroom.

If you are looking for a stay that looks outside our booking rules, please contact us. Especially towards the end of a month we may be able to accomodate you.

We do have a shared entry way, but at the top of the stairs is a door you can lock. We have french doors at the bottom of the stairs that we lock. Let's respect each others' space by being courteous in the entryway and it can be a place we share happily.

Your apartment doesn’t have a dedicated washer and dryer but we are happy to provide weekly wash and dry service at no extra cost. Please note we do not launder medical attire (scrubs, ambulance uniforms etc).

If you plan to have guests of your own stay with you, we appreciate being asked. An additional fee of $50 per night will apply. We have a 2 guest max (including you) rule as we do live downstairs and find groups of people to impact our ability to enjoy our home as well as our costs.

A few years ago, I operated a bed and breakfast in this historically registered Tudor home. With our growing family it became too much to manage. You’ll love our spacious room, its vaulted ceiling, the beautiful outdoor space right off your private entry, and our easy self check-in. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We are 2 blocks from Central Washington Hospital and conveniently located for access to grocery stores, dining, etc.

The space
Your studio accommodation is a spacious 19' x 24' mother-in-law suite, with ample space for sleeping, relaxing, business and dining. The suite addition to our home has it's own private bath, private entrance, and a kitchenette complete with breakfast center and Keurig. The queen size Serta mattress with foam topper are both new, replaced in April 2025. Occasionally we are asked to host 3 or 4 guests, which we can do by adding a queen size deluxe air mattress in the space. Added guests are $20 each per night.

Guests have access to our fenced backyard living area, including deck, patio and firepit areas, and BBQ. We can also make arrangements with our guests for securely storing guest property such as bikes and ski equipment on site.

No extra cleaning fee! Your basement studio style suite is just a few blocks from Wenatchee Riverfront park and the Apple Centennial trail and less than a mile from the Town Toyota Center. Grocery Outlet, the Post Office, and the Valley North Shopping Center are all within walking distance. And as convenient as that all sounds, we are still in a quiet neighborhood. The space is clean and cozy. We welcome people from all backgrounds.

The space
Your Studio
When you walk inside the back door, to your left will be the entrance to the basement. You will need to navigate down the stairs. At the bottom will be laundry facilities to your right, and the door to your studio suite on the left.

The first thing you see when you walk in will likely be the kitchette with farm sink, refrigerator, microwave that is also a convection oven, and a dining table for eating or working. To your left is a seating area with a very comfortable leather sofa, an electric fireplace, and a TV with a firestick. To the right and around the corner is a king size bed. If you let me know ahead of time, I can also have the murphy bed out and ready for extra sleeping space. Finally, through the barn door is a large luxurious bathroom with heated floors!

Shared Spaces: You are a welcome guest! Don’t be shy.

The back yard is a landscaping project in progress. My only warning is that this is also Molly's (our dog) personal playground. We try to keep up on cleaning up after her but there is always a chance of a surprise. Check your feet before coming back in.

The other shared space is the laundry facilities. Feel free to use them. Make sure to move your laundry along as we are also using these machines. Bring your own soap, or drop off a couple bucks for detergent. Either way if fine.

Other things to note
The back door has a keyless entry for self check in - no contact. The door to your suite locks and I will leave a key for you inside.

This property is so special because it has a country feel, yet it is minutes from downtown Wenatchee. Our one-bedroom cottage was originally built as a mother-in-law house and we have converted it into a cozy space for travelers visiting our city for short or extended periods of time.

The space
The guest kitchen is stocked fully stocked with pots and pans, all dish ware and glasses. There are cooking essentials, such as, olive oil, salt and pepper and Sriraccha. We provide coffee, tea, and cream. The kitchen is on the small side so we have opted to keep the full size fridge in a small room that is connected to the kitchen, where other essential items are stored.

There is a large screen TV in the bedroom and it is connected to Amazon Fire. You will need to use your own Netflix and Hulu accounts.

There is a cute little porch that looks out on a large yards and nice views.

There are two homes on the property (the larger one is a long term rental) and the houses are divided by a gate for privacy. There is a full time renter in the larger of the two houses. Please respect their privacy. Thank you!
Parking is right of of the 'Airbnb' house. There is a gravel drive-way that leads to a parking area.
We do not live on-site but are within a quick 10 minute drive from us the property, Please do not hesitate to call or text at anytime.
There are two doors face the front of the house, the door to the right with the keyless lock will gain you entry (the left side door is very old and always remains locked).

Other things to note
Park in the driveway to the left of the property.
Please do not run the air conditioner or heat for extended periods while not in the house. If it is extremely hot or cold and you will not be out for an extended period of time, I am fine with it running.
There is a large brown trash can outside the side door that you are welcome to dispose of inside trash, also there is a bin for recycling.

The Apple Apartment is close to everything, food, trails, the river, skiing & more. The space
This is a beautiful one bedroom cottage with A/C. Parking is in our driveway and then you take the staircase down and the cottage is on your left. It has its own patio with comfortable furniture.

It has a small, but fully functional kitchen with all the basics. There is an induction cook top and hood fan, microwave/convection oven, coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster. If you need anything, just text us and if we have it in the main house, we will bring it over. Instructions for the cooktop are in the bottom drawer to the left of the sink.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and a fireplace. There are two bedside tables that have built in USB chargers. There is also a walk-in closet. We added a new bedframe and mattress July of 2023 .

The living room has a couch that can convert to a queen bed. The TV has Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is a sliding glass door that leads to your patio.

There is parking for one car.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower that also has a bench seat. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryer are all provided.

We live just across the walkway and are available if you need anything.

This space is perfect for a solo traveller, a couple, or a couple and a child (or parent).
