- "Overall the place was nice, quite spacious and kitchen was well equipped including coffee, spices and olive oil. Hosts were prompt dealing with any questions or issues (e.g. ran out of coffee). WiFi was solid. Parking during check in was slightly tricky as the curb had not been shoveled yet, but my host came out and helped me shovel the spot. There were no noise issues during the month I stayed (either me being too noisy or hosts being too noisy)."

Your full kitchen upstairs should include everything you need- plus just to make your mornings and evenings more enjoyable we'll have complimentary tea and coffee.

We do have a shared entry way, but at the top of the stairs is a door you can lock. We have french doors at the bottom of the stairs that we lock. Let's respect each others' space by being courteous in the entryway and it can be a place we share happily.

Your apartment doesn’t have a dedicated washer and dryer but we are happy to provide weekly wash and dry service at no extra cost. Please note we do not launder medical attire (scrubs, ambulance uniforms etc).

If you plan to have guests of your own stay with you, we appreciate being asked. An additional fee of $50 per night will apply. We have a 2 guest max (including you) rule as we do live downstairs and find groups of people to impact our ability to enjoy our home as well as our costs.

A few years ago, I operated a bed and breakfast in this historically registered Tudor home. With our growing family it became too much to manage. Since we love hosting we decided to remodel our spacious basement apartment. It is fully furnished and super cozy. The apartment has its own entrance and lots of parking and even a private outdoor patio area. We are in the central part of town and close to the main street, the market and the Columbia River loop trail.

The space
The apartment is super cozy and has tons of light for a basement! The space has a full kitchen and a full bathroom with a good sized tub. We installed a legal egress window so the space has two exits, as well as a smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The unit is furnished with nice quality linens and towels and loads of books!

Guest access
The apartment is separate from the main part of the house. If there is an opportunity, we would love to show you some of the upstairs. Keep in mind, however, we are raising kids and running around 24/7!
With Covid we are practicing non-contact check-in, but we are around so please contact us if you need help.
