Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, Wi-Fi, a 100 inch screen/projector, and hot tub, you can truly get away from it all among lush evergreens just 10 minutes from Redmond.

Access to the treehouse is off the deck 150' behind our home, with a very easy 55 foot suspended walkway/bridge among the trees.

The treehouse is an open-space room surrounded by expansive windows with views of the forest and a private pond. It provides a comfortable queen bed with high-end linens, a reclining couch, and a twin bunk bed in the loft, accessible by ladder.

There is a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig in the kitchenette area, and a cafe dining table that seats three. Your complimentary continental breakfast is served via a 150' zipline from the main house.

Check-in and entry are contactless and keyless using a smart keypad lock. The entrance is well lit and easy to find but we can provide in-person check-in upon request. We have space for 1 car in the car port and additional street parking in front of the house.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with memory foam mattress, pillows, and a closet for storage. There's also a desk and office chair in the room so you can get work done in comfort.

Enjoy a full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, water filtering jug, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, french press, plates, knives, forks, pots, pans, utensils, coffee, tea, food storage containers, dish drying rack, and more.

The laundry area has a brand new LG washer/dryer and tide pods for your detergent needs. We also have a drying rack, iron, ironing board, broom, bug zapper, and vacuum in the unit.

Living room has a 32 inch HD TV connected to a Roku device which supports Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, and pretty much any streaming service you can think of. There are also free channels (Disney, Boomerang, News, Roku Channel) to watch on the device. We have a powerful wifi router connected to reliable fiber internet that works both inside and outside the unit. There are windows throughout the living area and kitchen that look out on the patio. The living room sofa bed pulls out to a comfortable queen-size in about 30 seconds.

The dining area has settings for 4 when you want to grab a meal. We also have a gas fireplace that is easy to turn on so you can stay warm and cozy on rainy Seattle days. If you want to cool down instead we have a ceiling fan and portable fan to help you do just that.

You'll have access to the entire unit. This will include space in the carport for 1 car and the patio in front of your unit. You also have access to other green areas including the lawn to the left of the car port but please note that these areas are shared with your upstairs neighbors. If you use them, please clean up after yourselves. Please stay off the deck of your upstairs neighbors. If you see them, feel free to introduce yourself. They're friendly people!

To secure the premises and deter package theft the unit is equipped with a ring doorbell you'll see as you enter. There are no cameras inside.

We live in the same town about 15 minutes away from this house and are available via Vrbo messaging and phone.

1. No shoes on the carpeted areas please.
2. No pets. We love our dogs and cats but this place isn't set up for them right now.
3. No kids under 6. We're not childproofed and don't want any young guests getting in trouble.
4. Quiet hours after 10 pm. These are city of Redmond rules.
5. Please be respectful to your neighbors upstairs. Say hi if you run in to them but usually you won't because the entrance to your suite is separated.
6. No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host.
7. Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
8. If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
9. Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests.
10. No smoking – also don't discard your cigarettes in the house trash cans.
11. Watch out for bugs. We're across the street from a wooded area and occasionally little critters get in. Always close the door even if you're stepping out for a minute. We do have a bug zapper if flying bugs bother you but please read the safety instructions before using it.

Getting Around
=============
You can either park in the car port on the property or on the street outside the house. If you use the car port please make sure you leave room for another car so your neighbors in the main house upstairs can use it. The street leads to a cul de sac so it’s quiet and safe to park on. Most places in downtown Redmond are within 10 minutes driving. The closest grocery store is a Safeway 10 minutes walk or 5 minute drive away. There’s also a Whole Foods close by. If you want a bite to eat there’s a Five Guys, Panera Bread, a Thai place (Thai 65), a dumpling place (Dough Zone), McDonald’s, a Dairy Queen, and Victor’s Celtic Coffee (our favorite!) close by. All of these places deliver and if you’re in the moods to explore there are even more places downtown.

Neighborhood

Education Hill is a quiet residential neighborhood. One of the most sought after and oldest in Redmond. It is walking distance from stores, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and trails. There’s a lot to explore!

Other Things to Note:
1-This condo is on the ground floor of a building so you may hear upstairs neighbors.
2- It's cooler than upstairs houses and doesn't have a lot of sunshine other than in the morning.
3- There is no central AC but we provide fans.
4- Up to 2 pets are allowed with $150/pet or $300/2 pets. We may have to request additional money from you.

This spacious, high-ceilinged master bedroom has its own en-suite and balcony. The home is located near Bellevue, Overlake, Redmond and Kirkland and is perfect for medical and IT travel and Bastyr students. This room is being listed for long term renting only, and is a space for women. You will be living with a retired artist and interior designer and her cuddly cat.

The space
This high-ceilinged master bedroom being rented for long term rental is roomy with its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a cute balcony (on the east side) which is accessed by a sliding glass door. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower and roomy sink area with plenty of storage. It has two large closets for great storage and a workspace with an ergonomic chair and plenty of room for a yoga routine. Aside from the glass doors, there are additional windows to the West and South, the latter being set high in the wall below the slanted ceiling, making it spaciaus and light.
This accommodation is on the fourth floor which is accessible by a reliable lift.
Apart from the master bedroom, the guest can share the rest of the home, which is all high-ceilinged and tastefully decorated with art and pieces from around the world. The overall effect is both cozy and cultured, spacious and eclectic. Aside from the guest’s master suite, there is a hallway leading to the shared bathroom which has a bathtub, and the entry to the home-owner’s bedroom. Nearer the front door is the kitchen which has an open hatch to the generous living-dining area with a large balcony off of that. Views from the living room space and master balcony are of beautiful, mature trees with glimpses of the Cascade mountains, including Mt Baker.
The grounds and amenities of the 6001 condo site are at the guests disposal, which include grounds, swimming pools and a clubhouse with exercise room and saunas.
This is a home, shared with the homeowner and her cat, so while cleaning standards are high, they are not industry standard and long term guests will be expected to take part in housekeeping.

Guest access
In addition to the private master with en-suite bathroom, you’ll also have access to the living spaces. These include a generous living-dining area with a wood stove, bordered by a large balcony on the east side. The television is in this room. Opposite the balcony, there is an open hatch to the kitchen. Down the hall, there’s also a shared bathroom which has a bathtub.
This property is in a lovely, gated condominium complex with beautifully landscaped grounds including several lakes and waterfalls, several swimming pools and a clubhouse with an exercise room and two saunas (accessed via the male and female changing rooms).
There is parking adjacent to the building. If the guest has a car, this will need to be registered with the condominium management by 2 weeks, free of charge.

During your stay
This home is shared with my mother, a physically active, retired interior design consultant, artist and grandmother. And her cat, who loves to sleep on all the beds! So please do not apply if you have any allergies or issues with cats. My mother would like this to be a female space.
The initial communication about the listing is with myself, however once on-site, hopefully most issues can be sorted with the home owner (my mother). However, if there are any issues that can’t be sorted with her, you can get a hold of me and my brothers, one who lives very nearby (I’ll give you communication details once you’ve booked), who are co-hosts.

There is a friendly cat on the property, please be aware if you have any allergies or issues with cats.
The condo is in a gated area, so first access will need to be communicated to allow the guests in through the gate (a phone number will be supplied upon securing the accommodation). After that, long term guests will receive a gate key for a $40 deposit, which will be returned when the key is returned.
There is free parking adjacent to the building, and a guest’s car will need to be registered with the condominium management (within 2 weeks).
