Equipped with an outdoor hot shower, Wi-Fi, a 100 inch screen/projector, and hot tub, you can truly get away from it all among lush evergreens just 10 minutes from Redmond.

Access to the treehouse is off the deck 150' behind our home, with a very easy 55 foot suspended walkway/bridge among the trees.

The treehouse is an open-space room surrounded by expansive windows with views of the forest and a private pond. It provides a comfortable queen bed with high-end linens, a reclining couch, and a twin bunk bed in the loft, accessible by ladder.

There is a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig in the kitchenette area, and a cafe dining table that seats three. Your complimentary continental breakfast is served via a 150' zipline from the main house.

We think it is a great place to have a meal, play one of the many board games in the unit, read a book from the little library above the fireplace, or get some work done.

Check-in and entry are contactless and keyless using a smart keypad lock. The entrance is well lit and easy to find but we can provide in-person check-in upon request. We have space for 1 car in the car port and additional street parking in front of the house.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with memory foam mattress, pillows, and a closet for storage. There's also a desk and office chair in the room so you can get work done in comfort.

Enjoy a full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, water filtering jug, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, french press, plates, knives, forks, pots, pans, utensils, coffee, tea, food storage containers, dish drying rack, and more.

The bathroom has a stand up shower, sink, toilet, hair dryer, and towels.

The laundry area has a brand new LG washer/dryer and tide pods for your detergent needs. We also have a drying rack, iron, ironing board, broom, bug zapper, and vacuum in the unit.

Living room has a 32 inch HD TV connected to a Roku device which supports Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, and pretty much any streaming service you can think of. There are also free channels (Disney, Boomerang, News, Roku Channel) to watch on the device. We have a powerful wifi router connected to reliable fiber internet that works both inside and outside the unit. There are windows throughout the living area and kitchen that look out on the patio. The living room sofa bed pulls out to a comfortable queen-size in about 30 seconds.

The dining area has settings for 4 when you want to grab a meal. We also have a gas fireplace that is easy to turn on so you can stay warm and cozy on rainy Seattle days. If you want to cool down instead we have a ceiling fan and portable fan to help you do just that.

Guest Access
===========
You'll have access to the entire unit. This will include space in the carport for 1 car and the patio in front of your unit. You also have access to other green areas including the lawn to the left of the car port but please note that these areas are shared with your upstairs neighbors. If you use them, please clean up after yourselves. Please stay off the deck of your upstairs neighbors. If you see them, feel free to introduce yourself. They're friendly people!

Security
=======
To secure the premises and deter package theft the unit is equipped with a ring doorbell you'll see as you enter. There are no cameras inside.

Interaction with guests
===================
We live in the same town about 15 minutes away from this house and are available via Vrbo messaging and phone.

House Rules
==========
1. No shoes on the carpeted areas please.
2. No pets. We love our dogs and cats but this place isn't set up for them right now.
3. No kids under 6. We're not childproofed and don't want any young guests getting in trouble.
4. Quiet hours after 10 pm. These are city of Redmond rules.
5. Please be respectful to your neighbors upstairs. Say hi if you run in to them but usually you won't because the entrance to your suite is separated.
6. No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host.
7. Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.
8. If you break or damage something, please let me know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
9. Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests.
10. No smoking – also don't discard your cigarettes in the house trash cans.
11. Watch out for bugs. We're across the street from a wooded area and occasionally little critters get in. Always close the door even if you're stepping out for a minute. We do have a bug zapper if flying bugs bother you but please read the safety instructions before using it.

Getting Around
=============
You can either park in the car port on the property or on the street outside the house. If you use the car port please make sure you leave room for another car so your neighbors in the main house upstairs can use it. The street leads to a cul de sac so it’s quiet and safe to park on. Most places in downtown Redmond are within 10 minutes driving. The closest grocery store is a Safeway 10 minutes walk or 5 minute drive away. There’s also a Whole Foods close by. If you want a bite to eat there’s a Five Guys, Panera Bread, a Thai place (Thai 65), a dumpling place (Dough Zone), McDonald’s, a Dairy Queen, and Victor’s Celtic Coffee (our favorite!) close by. All of these places deliver and if you’re in the moods to explore there are even more places downtown.

Neighborhood
============
Education Hill is a quiet residential neighborhood. One of the most sought after and oldest in Redmond. It is walking distance from stores, restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and trails. There’s a lot to explore!
