Welcome to The Cottonwood Home! It’s located on the top floor of my remodeled home. The house is on the very convenient location and easy access to get on 405 and 5 freeways, and it’s within 5-7 minutes away to Alderwood mall, Costco, Whole food, Target, Walmart, H-mart, 3 mins to Martha lake and 25 mins (without traffic) to Seattle.
The space
The place is spacious with living area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 king bed and 1 queen bed), 1 bathroom. We also provide a travel crib for your little one upon request. We have toys for toddler as well.
The kitchen is well stocked with, tea, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, olive oil, spices, cookware, the air fry and convection oven.
Guest access
The space is on the upper unit. You will have the entire upper level of the house and the private deck with patio furniture and private laundry in unit. We also provide parking spot for you!
Other things to note
The owner family (My husband and my child ) lives in the lower unit of the house that is separated from upstair unit. Because it’s an older home, sometimes noise can transfer, keeping the noise during the quiet hours 10pm-6am is very helpful.

The portable Air conditioners are only hooked up during summer season.

With convenient freeway access, you can be at the beach within 20 minutes. You are also 20 minutes from 2 popular ferry routes on Puget Sound and a 90-minute drive to the North Cascades Highway, Mt. Rainier or the Anacortes ferry to Victoria, BC. You can also enjoy many wonderful restaurants, theaters and museums in the Seattle area, and you are only 10 minutes from Alderwood Mall which has all the shopping anyone could want.

And after a fun day, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of your own space with a separate entrance, our beautiful grounds, and lovely courtyard.

This place is in a residential neighborhood and conveniently access to most of my favorite restaurants. My family live close by the house and my favorite restaurants near by are Olive Garden, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, buffalo wild wings, The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, and Anthony's Seafood and Grill.

This place is in a very convenient location. Minutes walk to public transportation, Starbucks Coffee, Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant & Bar, the Old Spaghetti Factory, Pho 36, the Barnes and Noble Book store, Whole Foods Market. Few minutes drive to Alderwood Mall, downtown Lynnwood, parks, Interurban trail, Lynnwood Recreation Center, Lynnwood Convention Center, and AMC and Regal cinemas theaters. This place is located right of off I-5 and I-405 and it takes 10 to 25 minutes (depending on traffic) to Downtown Seattle, Bellevue, and Everett, Edmond Beach, golf courses, the Museum of Flight, Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour, Space Needle, and the world famous Pike Place Market.
Bus 196 and then 511 will take you directly to downtown Seattle. Rideshare like Uber and Lyft or Taxi are available near by. However, going to and from SeaTac Airport, Shuttle Express might be the most economic way.

- "The place is small but well located and affordable. A quick 20 minute drive to downtown Seattle and restaurants and shopping nearby. There was one confusion on the 4th day the manager called asking if there was an issue with the water and it was due to my wife and I taking showers back to back ( 5 minutes each) other than that it was a good place to stay." - "I booked this place last minute because it was close to where I needed to be. I'm not a picky person and usually can make do in a bad situation, but this place had too many issues. I arrived after dark, no porch light, hard to find where to enter. Inside seemed ok, cheap remodel job, small futon to sleep on and the place was cold and damp. The family above (it's in the bottom of their house?) was kinda noisy. One night was all I could take! The futon was like sleeping on the floor with one thin blanket. Microwave had crusty old food like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Coffee maker same, needed cleaned. And in the morning there were ants crawling all over the counter and table and even some in the bed! And it's still cold in there. No thermostat to control any heat... I packed up and texted them the problems and told them I was leaving! Stayed one night (had it rented for a week) and asked for a refund. Found out Vrbo policy of no refunds if canceling after checking in - had to go through many phone calls, emails and texts with both Vrbo and the owner in order to get a small refund out of them of 30% of what I originally was charged! They are cheap, and dishonest and I don't think I'll use Vrbo again either. They should have some safeguard to protect renters from dishonest owners."

- "We had a multi-generational family vacation and loved our stay here. The four bedroom set up was great and kitchen was extremely well stocked with equipment and high end appliances. The host was easy to reach and very helpful. We would definitely stay again. The location was very close to I-5, about a ten minute drive to the closest light rail station which was handy, and about thirty minutes to downtown Seattle depending on traffic. If there was one thing I would suggest, it would be for the hosts to finish the back yard. It’s a great space but without grass. It’s a very minor improvement that we would recommend. Come make yourself at home! You’ll be sharing the space with me and my lovely, friendly dog, Violet. I’ve got a paddleboard you’re welcome to use on the nearby lake, and a bicycle for the trail just down the road. I live on the back side of an apartment building and all my windows face a green belt, for a lovely wooded and private view.

Our guest suite is a studio located on the first floor of our home in a quiet and residential neighborhood of Bothell - Canyon Park Area. It has a private entrance for your convenience and is located just minutes from the freeway (I-405).

Our spacious suite features a full kitchen, a dining set for two, a smart TV, a full bathroom, and a modern/front loading washer and dryer.

Our kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to cook your meals. We have a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc.

Our suite's French doors open to a beautiful patio overlooking our garden beds. This is a perfect space to sip a cup of coffee in the morning or read a book!

□ No mail services or deliveries are allowed at this property

□ Key replacement or locksmith services will incur a $350 charge per occurrence.

□ No RV, commercial, or oversized truck parking at anytime of day or night

□ Smoking is strictly prohibited and an ozone treatment will be financial responsibility of any guest suspected to have smoked in any area of the property

□ Early check-in and/or check-out might be available. Please ask in advance for pricing and availability.

□ Quiet time is between 9PM-8AM and it is strictly enforced

□ Items left behind may be sent back for a service call of $40 plus mailing charges. It might take up to two weeks for this process to occur.

□ Please let us know right away if any item has been broken, stained, misplaced, etc. We understand that accidents and mistakes happen.

Amazing Combo units allow you to two independent rentals, one studio cottage with full bath, kitchen and bed and the second private suite with 3 bedrooms and a bath and a eat-in-kitchen.

Both the units are 15ft. apart and in separate dwelling units allowing our guests to have extra space with a larger group and also some privacy. Guests also have a private fully fenced backyard that is not shared with anyone.
