Built almost a decade ago, its confines and location offers a wide range of outdoor activities. My partner and I have taken 6 years to build this little paradise. We have design and built the place entirely ourselves. We have tried to use as much ecological products as we could and we are proud to offer our guests a stunning surrounding environment.
In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Cordwood Chalet is on an 8 acres property. The surrounding neighbourhood consist of mostly acreages mountains and forest. Our crystal clear blaeberry river is minutes walk from the chalet where incredible views of the surrounding can be observe. Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling are few of several outings that can be done in the area. Our house is about 300 meters away from the Cordwood Chalet. The Chalet has its own driveway and is completely self-sufficient. We like to greet guests upon arrival. THE SPACE:
We are so happy to welcome guests to this space as we have personally been part of the design and building. We strive to offer a warm, welcoming, and cozy getaway for our guests. Nestled in a whimsical forest setting, we have a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom Suite with BBQ, private fenced yard with picnic table and comfy patio furniture under pergola to relax under. Suitable for a couples getaway, family vacation, or small group of friends! Bonus, we are dog friendly however cats are not permitted due to allergies. We have one very friendly dog and Tazzie loves to meet everyone!

We feel the suite is suitable for children over 6 years of age – as we do not offer cribs, safety gates or cabinet locks. Terrain on the property for strollers or wagons is also not suitable.

RV’s and Boats are welcome!
We love our RV, camper, boating folks - we have plenty of parking for your RV, boats or trailers.

A perfect cabin experience isn't complete without all the advantages of home. From 2 TV'S, satellite, DVD players to high speed internet and an iPod station, and also remember Silver Star has some of the best mountain biking around , bewolf which is a 30 km ride with old growth ceders and is an amazing ride, but make sure you are ready for a hard ride out , which is well worth it. The gondola is running which means you can head to the top and hike around and down or ride gondola down. Cheers

This unique 2800 square foot Lodge is perfect for entertaining and group gatherings, situated in the beautiful Monashee Mountains. With 3 acres of beautifully landscaped property located close to the base of Boulder Mountain, you can sled, snowshoe or hike right from the front door. There is a huge parking lot for trucks and trailers, with lots of turn around space.
Inside the Lodge it features a very large open great room that includes dining for 20 people, a living area, games area, wood fireplace and a custom log bar and full kitchen. The bar area is equipped with all the essentials to entertain like 2 small fridges, a dishwasher, Coffee maker, glassware and plate ware etc. Behind the scenes there is a large kitchen, where you will find a large prep space and an electric stove, fridge and small appliances for use. It is the perfect place to host functions, with lots of room for everyone.
On the same floor as the great room there is a private bedroom with beautiful mountain views and a balcony off the bedroom. This bedroom comes furnished with 2 twin memory foam beds and comfy quality bedding. The upstairs loft features a large 500 square foot space that hosts another sleeping area. There is a queen bed, 2 double beds, and a bunk bed with a queen and a twin mattress, plus a sitting area.
Back downstairs on the first floor there is a half Bathroom and then the Main Bathroom with a large double vanity and shower. Outside there is also a large deck located off the kitchen and bedroom to take in all the mountain views, and it has a small BBQ out there for grilling.

Welcome to Twin Peaks, our home at Silver Star. This amazing suite is situated on the Knoll right beside Silver Queen Ski Way. This 1 bedroom suite sleeps up to 6 people. There is a queen bed and bunk bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. With a cozy stone fireplace, dining table located right beside the window that looks out at the Ski way you will enjoy your entire stay here with us. This suite is newly renovated, extremely clean and comfortable. Feel right at home as soon as you walk in.

Mountain biking with Downhill, Enduro and XC Biking trails open between mid June and September (check the SilverStar website for season dates). Hiking and the family Gnome Roam trails are also available.

Five minutes down Silver Star Road there is also additional biking and hiking at Sovereign Lake (not that you will need it!).
