In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Cordwood Chalet is on an 8 acres property. The surrounding neighbourhood consist of mostly acreages mountains and forest. Our crystal clear blaeberry river is minutes walk from the chalet where incredible views of the surrounding can be observe. Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling are few of several outings that can be done in the area. Our house is about 300 meters away from the Cordwood Chalet. The Chalet has its own driveway and is completely self-sufficient. We like to greet guests upon arrival. THE SPACE:
We are so happy to welcome guests to this space as we have personally been part of the design and building. We strive to offer a warm, welcoming, and cozy getaway for our guests. Nestled in a whimsical forest setting, we have a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom Suite with BBQ, private fenced yard with picnic table and comfy patio furniture under pergola to relax under. Suitable for a couples getaway, family vacation, or small group of friends! Bonus, we are dog friendly however cats are not permitted due to allergies. We have one very friendly dog and Tazzie loves to meet everyone!

We feel the suite is suitable for children over 6 years of age – as we do not offer cribs, safety gates or cabinet locks. Terrain on the property for strollers or wagons is also not suitable.

RV’s and Boats are welcome!
We love our RV, camper, boating folks - we have plenty of parking for your RV, boats or trailers.

A perfect cabin experience isn't complete without all the advantages of home. From 2 TV'S, satellite, DVD players to high speed internet and an iPod station, and also remember Silver Star has some of the best mountain biking around , bewolf which is a 30 km ride with old growth ceders and is an amazing ride, but make sure you are ready for a hard ride out , which is well worth it. The gondola is running which means you can head to the top and hike around and down or ride gondola down. Cheers

This unique 2800 square foot Lodge is perfect for entertaining and group gatherings, situated in the beautiful Monashee Mountains. With 3 acres of beautifully landscaped property located close to the base of Boulder Mountain, you can sled, snowshoe or hike right from the front door. There is a huge parking lot for trucks and trailers, with lots of turn around space.
Inside the Lodge it features a very large open great room that includes dining for 20 people, a living area, games area, wood fireplace and a custom log bar and full kitchen. The bar area is equipped with all the essentials to entertain like 2 small fridges, a dishwasher, Coffee maker, glassware and plate ware etc. Behind the scenes there is a large kitchen, where you will find a large prep space and an electric stove, fridge and small appliances for use. It is the perfect place to host functions, with lots of room for everyone.
On the same floor as the great room there is a private bedroom with beautiful mountain views and a balcony off the bedroom. This bedroom comes furnished with 2 twin memory foam beds and comfy quality bedding. The upstairs loft features a large 500 square foot space that hosts another sleeping area. There is a queen bed, 2 double beds, and a bunk bed with a queen and a twin mattress, plus a sitting area.
Back downstairs on the first floor there is a half Bathroom and then the Main Bathroom with a large double vanity and shower. Outside there is also a large deck located off the kitchen and bedroom to take in all the mountain views, and it has a small BBQ out there for grilling.

Soooo super easy to get to village, tube town and skiing even though you were tucked away in the trees and snow 'away from it all'. We had tons of snow dump and it was still really easy to get our luggage un/loaded via the small jaunt to/from the cabin via the snow path. Super pleasant /easy/prompt/friendly communication with owner, Josh --we even saw him on the mountain skiing and they came by to say hi--super nice! Our family of four (2 adults and 2 younger kids) didn't want to leave! We will be back to stay at this place again! ..and again...and again :)"

The Stag chalet is a 2 story 1 1/2 bath chalet set in the forest on a quiet country road. Creek side, there is nothing to disturb your tranquility. Except the wildlife! In our local Boreal forest we have 3 types of owl that you will hear , but may not see and at least 6 types of woodpeckers, who aren't shy! Pine martens, deer and all sorts of small forest critters live in the forest surrounding the chalet.
The Kitchen; we understand that you love to cook but need a full kitchen to do it well. From a coffee grinder, blender, sharp knives, to a garlic press we've tried to think of everything, but will be happy to acquire anything that we may have forgotten! We also supply gourmet Kicking Horse coffee, a french press and a percolator.
Our surrounding area; Golden is amazing, truly. Situated in the massive Columbia Valley, known as the Valley of a Thousand Peaks, Golden sits in the center of 6 of Canada's most awesome National Mountain Parks. Golden Base Camp is 10 minutes from town and 25 minutes from world class skiing at Kicking Horse Mountain resort. Golden itself offers, golfing, rafting, kayaking, paragliding, parasailing, mountain biking, you name it you could probably find it here!

Each chalet can sleep a maximum of 8 guests, but is most comfortable for up to 6 guests.

Roomy balcony to the lake and covered decks to three sides allow you to safely store your children's beach toys and under roof laundry lines make it easy to dry your beach towels and swim wear.

- "The photos really don’t even do this place justice — it is the absolute perfect destination for a peaceful getaway from the chaos of daily life. Sitting on the deck for hours and watching the sun set on the mountains was a highlight. Having the downstairs TV area was great to hangout after the sun went down. The BBQ was a nice touch even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Major bonus points for having an espresso machine too. What’s better than a freshly made latte in the mountains? Beds were comfy. House was easy to get in and out of as we were there in the summer months. A quick 12-15 mins drive to downtown Nelson which was a gorgeous journey along the lake. As you would expect, every restaurant we frequented was incredible. I have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience! Definitely take a trip to Nelson, and absolutely stay in this cozy little cabin!"

This one of a kind chalet sits directly next to the ski run 'Sun Run' and provides the most accessible ski in/ski out access on the mountain! Centrally located, you are right above the Big White Village Centre. You also have access to a private Hot Tub after a tireless day of riding!

Sitting in the heart of the village area of the resort, you will be within walking distance of the lifts, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Winter will be ideal for skiing, yet summer months can be spent hiking and biking along pristine trails. Plus, a local market is mere steps away as well to stock up on necessities.

In-between ski sessions you’ll be able to relax next to the fireplace, taking in views up the hill, or just unwinding while watching Netflix. We also have Telus Optik TV in every bedroom and living room.

With mountain décor and plenty of room for everyone to spread out, no one will have trouble kicking back on the plush sofas as a movie plays on the flat screen TV. When everyone works up an appetite, the chef of the group will love hopping into the full kitchen to whip up warm meals on modern appliances. Our property offers spacious living over two floors. You will find one bedroom, a bathroom, laundry room and access to the garage (for equipment storage and Foosball) on the entry level, with a further two bedrooms, two bathrooms large open concept living/dining/kitchen area on the first floor. Access to the hot tub is from this level.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the whole home, with the exception of a couple of locked cupboards.
Please note that the garage is NOT available for guest parking.

NOTE: the driveway/entrance to the property is steep and can be slippery due to snow or ice. We recommend renters physicaly fit enough to navigate this. We also recommend using the provided sand to sand the pathway up to the property
There is space for 2 vehicles on the driveway, to get 2 vehicles on the drive you need to park tight together or perpendicular. There is NO additional street parking available at any time.

The main living area is on the top floor for the best views in the house. With a large open concept kitchen, dining room and living area, everyone can hang out in the morning at breakfast or at the end of the day while cooking dinner together. Need some more space for the kids? Send them to the 4th bedroom on the same floor that doubles as a den with a TV.

Head downstairs to the bedroom level, where you will find a large master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite and the other two bedrooms for the rest of the family. The bedroom level is on the entryway level, so no hauling all your suitcases upstairs! On this level, you will also find the laundry room that also doubles as a boot room where you can dry all your gear!

Blue Skies has one of the best ski rooms on the Knoll. Just head outside the front door and down the side of the house and you can hang up all your gear, wax and store your skis here. It’s heated too!

Blue Skies has private laundry, Natural Gas BBQ and a private hot tub on the deck with views of Christmas Bowl and the Village.

We welcome pets!!! The pet fee is $30 per night, per pet plus taxes and is automatically calculated for the duration of your stay when you check off 'pets' when you are booking your stay.

Parking: There are 2 outdoor parking spots for vehicles. The garage is not available for guest use.

Ski Access: Head down the stairs to the back of the house and have quick access to the village and multi-purpose skiway.

Bonus: The hot tub is open for the winter season, and closed during the shoulder and summer seasons.

This home has an occupied suite in the basement; however, as a renter, you have a separate entrance and do not share any facilities within the property.

Minimum of three nights required for the winter season and five nights during the Christmas/New Years Period (unless there are gaps between bookings).

Guest access
Upper House. There is an occupied suite on the ground level that is not part of your rental.

Your property is accessed by a keyless lock (you will be provided the access code within this app prior to arrival) so you can arrive anytime at your convenience after the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. So if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.

Bonus: The hot tub is open for both the winter and summer seasons, closed during the shoulder seasons.

Housekeeping is not included during your stay but if you require additional housekeeping during your stay it can be arranged at an additional cost.

This large ski-in/ski-out penthouse is perfect for your stay at Big White. Big enough for the whole family to spread out, but also furnished and supplied for your every comfort, you can enjoy watching the snow fall from the glass vaulted-ceiling wall overlooking the Monashee Mountains. During the summer you can relax in comfort with the condo's air conditioner keeping you cool.

The space
The gathering space consists of a large "great room", consisting of a living room, dining room and kitchen, all facing a wall of windows overlooking the valley to the mountain in the very far distance. Bedrooms include a primary ensuite (king bed with private bathroom), a semi-private loft king ensuite (which includes two twin beds for the kiddos and a separate bathroom with steam shower), a queen bedroom and a kids den, with a queen bunk set, and a twin bunk set.

Other things to note
We want to ensure that you have the best possible stay. As as a result, we request that our guests notify us within 24 hours after check-in of anything that is broken/missing/damaged at the time of check-in. This affords us an opportunity to remedy any issues as quickly as possible.

Our den (which includes two sets of bunk beds - one set is queen-sized, and one set is twin-sized) is located across the hall from our condo's front door, such that the door to the den, which has its own lock, is on the other side of that hallway. The hallway is rarely used by anyone other than our condo, but it is not a private hallway.
