- "Stayed in the apartment from 5/8/24 thru 5/12/24 to help my daughter move from the UMW dorms to a new shared/roommate house nearby. Super convenient for people visiting the UMW campus - 2 blocks away. Also, easy walking distance to downtown for shops, brewery, restaurants, ice cream, etc. Sparky's Garage (a restaurant) is also very close and I highly recommend - great food, a really nice staff, and lots of local customers.The apartment is stocked with everything you need. Definitely read "the book" that the owners have left. Very interesting story with a brief history of the house and their future plans. Can't wait to see it when the owners' vision has been realized!Currently, you do have to walk up a long set of stairs to access the unit, but that was no problem for us. I highly recommend this rental."

Welcome to our guesthouse! Dillon is a small town, with so many things to do. Fishing, hiking, hunting, relaxing, and shopping.

This house was built in 2004 as a guest house. It's a spacious one bedroom and one bath house. The kitchen and living room are perfect for cooking and lounging. There is a huge, fenced yard. It’s located in town close to restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities.

The house is located conveniently in town about 5 minutes from the FWY.

The home is our guest house located on our property. We live in the main house.

The back yard is sharded, but you won't see us much. Our dogs do have access to the yard and will stop by to visit. It has all the luxuries of home.

We have cattle, horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats. All you will likely see. Our dogs are dog and people friendly, for the most part they will be kenneled during your stay though you may hear a bark from time to time. We have very curious, friendly barn cats- we apologize ahead of time if they are too friendly! Please do not let your dog chase any animals on the ranch.

This apartment is located below our home. We try to keep noise to a minimum but we also live here. We have a 1 yr old daughter and 3 loving labs that will occasionally be heard. We also have some free range chickens that roam throughout the yard. You will have your own private space without interruption but normal house nosies (footsteps, running water...) may be heard.

I own the two conjoining properties 134 & 132 N. Montana St. This building was the first commercial building in Dillon. Built in 1880, it has housed many different business in its days. Quiet neighborhood, with public lands just across the street great for hiking/hunting. Near Clark Canyon Reservoir and famous fly fishing streams(Beaverhead & Big Hole Rivers). We are only 1 hr from Maverick Mountain Ski Area , Elkhorn and Jackson Hot Springs. We are also near the Continental Divide trail. Yellowstone National Park is just a 3 hr drive and 2 hrs to Craters of Moon. There is lots to do in our area for the outdoor active person or just to relax in the great Montana mountains.

This is a beautiful, new cabin with modern touches, clean lines, and spectacular mountain views through massive windows. The cabin takes its name from one of the peaks you'll see right out your window, Alturas 1 (Our 2 BR cabin is named for the next peak to the north.... Alturas 2). Alturas 1 is a 1 BR cabin with a convertible sofa in the front room to accommodate up to 3 guests. **(PET OWNERS, please read pet section below)**

There's more than enough elbow room on this (over) 10-acre property and the neighbors and noise are plenty far away. Use it as a base camp for your travel, biking, fishing, hunting, or skiing adventure or just get your relax on. Come just to get away and use the Wi-Fi for watching movies or working remotely.

MT Hwy 278 is part of the Pioneer Scenic Byway and "Big Hole Loop" with unrivaled access to hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, the RATPOD bike race, and world-class trout fishing on the Beaverhead and Big Hole Rivers (not to mention numerous small creeks and lakes to drive or hike to).

You'll be situated a very short drive from Dillon, MT; a cute western town with roots in ag, railroading, and education. There are plenty of shops, fun restaurants, coffee shops, a brewery, and local happenings to satisfy travelers year-round. Dillon is also home to 1 of 5 Patagonia Outlets in the country and one of the biggest Labor Day celebrations around complete with rodeos, concerts, and a fair.

There are 3 cabins spaced out on the property. Alturas 2 is a 2 BR, 5 guest cabin. The Studio at Alturas is a stylish and spacious studio cabin. Look for our other listings or message us for help.

Note : Don't be alarmed by the "potentially dangerous animal" notation. We have to say that there could be a snake out here but the chances of running into one are very, very slim.

PETS:
One dog is allowed in Alturas 1. There will be an extra pet cleaning fee paid upfront. Please disclose your pet at booking. You are required to bring a dog bed or a sleeping surface. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or bed. Owners are responsible for all damage. If pets are not disclosed at booking, the pet fee will double.

I know that sometimes it's impossible to keep small dogs off the furniture. If this is the case, you must provide a blanket for them to lie on instead of lying directly on the furniture.

Extra pet fees will be added for heavy shedding and/or if we have to clean up pet messes outside. Our housekeepers have to work hard to make every new guest feel like they are the first guests. They literally put in extra hours to remove all hair/messes to make the place feel brand-new to each and every guest. If this occurs, photos will be provided.

Welcome to the Alpaca Cabin of Rivers End, a charming one-bedroom cabin that blends rustic character with updated touches. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or a small family, it offers a peaceful escape near downtown Dillon and is just minutes from the Beaverhead River. Whether you're here to fish, hike, ski, or unwind, this cozy retreat is a great place to call home for a while.

The space
Inside, the cabin welcomes you with a cozy living area that features a comfortable futon for extra sleeping, a chair and ottoman, and an electric stove for additional warmth and ambiance. In the living room, a smart TV allows you to stream your favorite shows using the provided Wi-Fi and your network login.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a table and stool set for 4, an electric range, refrigerator, toaster, blender, and basic cooking and baking pans and utensils. A small room, just off the kitchen, is set up for enjoying your coffee or tea, with a cozy chair and ottoman for extra relaxation. Additional cooking and baking utensils are stored below the microwave.

Enjoy a plush queen bed in the cozy bedroom, complete with a vintage sliding door for privacy and a closet for storage.

The modern bathroom includes a stand-up shower, sink, toilet, and complimentary toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and lotion.

Guests will have private, full access to the Alpaca Cabin. However, the yard is shared with 4 other cabins on the property.

***This cabin is equipped with a smaller water heater, so please be aware that hot water may run out sooner than a traditional residential tank.

Kick back and relax in this calm and peaceful studio style log cabin that was once a fly fishing shop. This transformed quaint space hosts one super comfy Casper king sized bed, a breakfast nook with an old wagon wheel table, kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, plates, bowls, and drinking glasses all houses in an antique showcase, and a comfortable bathroom with stand up shower. Ceiling fan, standing A/C unit and well insulated logs keep this cabin cool in the summer.

Great cabin for a single or couples retreat. Cozy space ready for your next vacation. Rest with a book, brew coffee with the sunrise, and enjoy the country setting.

Note: The lodge is listed for sale and showings may happen during your stay. We will give as much notice as needed but no less than 24 hours before showing.

This unique getaway is just blocks from downtown Dillon. It’s one of a kind blue pine interior is gorgeous & spacious. The perfect place to enjoy Southwestern Montana from. Dillon offers world renowned fly fishing in the summer, ski slopes 45 minutes away at Maverick mountain in the winter. There’s also the famous Elkhorn hot springs to visit for a $5 day. Enjoy Beaverhead-Deerlodge national forest and Clark Canyon reservoir. Come decompress in this small Montana town surrounded by nature!

The space
You’ll enter the property through your own private gate that leads to your yard area and stairs that lead up to the front door. Upon entering you’ll see the living room area to your right with couch, coffee table and TV with roku. To your left is the full bathroom. Then you’ll walk into more open space, a countertop for eating and a full kitchen to your left. A dining table for eating as well. A writing desk for computer work or writing is to your right. For the sleeping area you’ll find two queen size beds, two dressers and two nightstands with lamps.

You’ll have two drive way parking spaces and your own entrance to our property which leads up to the guesthouse. There’s a private side yard for you to enjoy as well as a small patio overlooking the gorgeous Tobacco root mountains.

A beautiful cabin with/ modern touches, clean lines, and mountain views via massive windows. The cabin takes its name from one of the peaks you'll see out your window, Alturas 2 (Our 1 BR cabin is named for the next peak to the south.... Alturas 1). Alturas 2 is a 2 BR cabin with a queen in the main bedroom and a twin-over-full bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom's bottom bunk is large enough to accommodate 2 adults.

The space
This is a beautiful, newer cabin with modern touches, clean/minimal lines, and spectacular mountain views through massive windows.

The cabin takes its name from one of the peaks you'll see right out your window, Alturas 2 (Our 1 BR cabin is named for the next peak to the south.... Alturas 1). Alturas 2 is a 2 BR cabin with a queen bed in the back bedroom and a twin-over-full bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom's bottom bunk is large enough to accommodate 2 adults. (No one over 110lbs on top bunk please.

There's also a full RV hookup just to the north of Alturas 2. Hook up your RV for a nominal fee. Rent both cabins for a discount to accommodate larger groups!

There's more than enough elbow room on this (over) 10-acre property and the neighbors and noise are plenty far away. Use it as a base camp for your travel, biking, fishing, hunting, or skiing adventure or just get your relax on. Come just to get away and use the Wi-Fi for watching movies or working remotely.

MT Hwy 278 is part of the Pioneer Scenic Byway and "Big Hole Loop" with unrivaled access to hiking, hot springs, snowmobiling, Bannack State Park (ghost town), horseback riding, the RATPOD bike race, and world-class trout fishing on the Beaverhead and Big Hole Rivers (not to mention numerous small creeks and lakes to drive or hike to).

You'll be situated a very short drive from Dillon, MT; a cute western town with roots in ag, railroading, and education. There are plenty of shops, fun restaurants, coffee shops, a brewery, and local happenings to satisfy travelers year-round.

Note : Don't be alarmed by the "potentially dangerous animal" notation. We have to say that there could be a snake out here but the chances of running into one are very, very slim.

***Dillon is also home to to 1 of 5 Patagonia Outlets in the country as well as one of the biggest Labor Day celebrations around complete with rodeos, concerts, and a fair.

You're also just a short drive from lots of fun/historic small towns with their own unique draw and appeal. There's an area information/recommendation booklet inside the cabin for reference too.

There are 3 cabins spaced out on the property. Alturas 1 is a 1 BR, 3 guest cabin. This is our pet-friendly option. The Studio at Alturas is a stylish and spacious studio cabin. Look for our other listing or inquire via messages if a larger space is needed.

5 minutes from the Beaverhead River, 5 minutes from the gas station, under 10 minutes to the grocery store/restaurants, 16 miles to Bannack State Park (ghost town), 30 miles to the Big Hole River, 30 miles to Maverick Mountain Ski Area and Elkhorn Hot Springs, 37 miles to Crystal Park. 70 miles to Butte, MT, 2 hrs to Idaho Falls, ID, or to Salmon, ID, and an easy day trip to Ennis, MT, and West Yellowstone to access Yellowstone Park.

Blacktail Retreat is a brand new, fully furnished cabin that has everything you will need for your stay. It is perfectly located, close to town, yet country feel.

PRICING: $125 per night for up to 2 adults. Additional adults $25 per night with a max of 3 unless it is two couples. Children under 12 are free with a max of 2 children.
