All the other neighbors are a long distance away, giving you ample privacy.

We were not informed we’d be within spitting distance of a construction site, which I thought was not cool, and future renters should be aware of the new neighbors. But having said that we definitely recommend this wonderful spot."

This cabin made our stay incredible. We slept with the sound of the river in our ears every night. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was perfect." - "We met up with two other couples (so 6 people total) in Stanley for the week. This cabin was perfect for us. There is one bedroom downstairs and then upstairs there is a loft with two beds. We couldn't find the second bed until we opened some closet doors (big closet) and there it was. We had a good laugh about it. Although that bed sits on the floor, my husband and I found it comfortable. We are 66 and 69 so getting out of the bed was a little more challenging than the normal beds but it wasn't bad. Just know you might put the younger people on that bed. The cabin was well stocked with towels, Toilet paper, soap, etc. The kitchen had great pans and was well stocked with those random items like spices or oil, etc. I was worried we might have road noise but in all honesty, it didn't bother us at all. The only times we heard vehicles were when the truckers used their jake brakes or a loud motorcycle went by. The wonderful sound of the flowing river may have drowned out the vehicle noise as it wasn't bothersome. Everyone in our group took walks up into Stanley and the field around Stanley. A couple of issues which I've seen mentioned that really weren't that big of a deal is know the water smells highly of Sulphur-which makes sense with all the hot springs around. While it smelled bad, my husband tried it and said it didn't taste bad but bring your own bottled water. The other thing is the pictures really don't do the cabin justice. Would definitely stay there again!"

Completely remodeled rustic small cabin in Stanley proper. This 2 story cabin is famous! Saved and relocated from the North Fork Store property in the Sun Valley area featured in Marilyn Monroe's movie, Bus Stop.

All new finishes and appliances. Open Loft bedroom upstairs, sleeps 4 (queen bed and twin trundle). Living room, kitchen and bathroom are downstairs.

Meadow Creek runs through the property and into Valley Creek just beyond the cabin. Great fishing at the Nature Preserve just a block away. Walk or ride your bike to town. Incredible views of the Sawtooth Mountains.

Please note that wildfires are common in the western states each year July - September. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations outside of our policy window due to smoke. If access to/from or accommodations at the cabin are directly impacted by a fire, we are open to discussing refunds with guests on a case by case basis. Check in was easy and we were greeted by a clean, fresh cabin when we entered. It has been well updated and has everything you need, including an air conditioner for the bedroom. The outside has been updated since the listing photos were taken - there is now a meadow of wildflowers surrounding the property, as well as a stone patio with two Adirondack chairs right out of the door. You'll be staying in a completely renovated 1958 Aljoa RV with all the comforts of home! Located on our 10-acre family homestead. Enjoy your own private driveway with parking for two vehicles, 250 square ft covered deck, heated outdoor shower, compost toilet/bathroom, fridge/freezer, stove with an oven and cold running water straight from the heart of Wilson Mountain. Go to sleep listening to coyotes at night and wake up to roosters in the morning.

Centrally located just over an hour from Coeur D'Alene, Moscow and Pullman. The small town of Fernwood is located just 10 minutes away with a Mercantile Store with all of the basic needs, and gas.

In addition to the propane stove/oven, there is a propane grill located on the back side of the camper. If you don't feel like cooking or just want to enjoy some farm to table cooking, we have a breakfast and dinner menu available that changes often and can be delivered to your doorstep with a 24hr notice.

There are trails down to the valley, lots of woods, a seasonal stream, and other fun reactional activities on-site including axe throwing and shooting. We raise Kunekune pigs, exotic and rare chickens, ducks, guineas and rabbits. Glory, our homestead Great Pyrenees patrols the property and keeps predators away. Ask about exploring the property and meeting the animals.

Located just a mile and a half off of highway 3, there is year-round access. The cabin has its own private graveled driveway, but we do recommend 4WD during the snow season. There is a small bunk in the camper, with low headspace. It can accommodate a small person or kid (under 100lbs). If you'd like to use it, please ask about adding an additional 3rd guest.

Need space for more people? For an additional $50/night, there is plenty of room to pitch a tent (up to 4 person tent) next to the camper!

There is no hot running water in the bathroom and camper sinks, but there is an electric water kettle provided in the camper and the hot water in the shower.

Escape to this historic caboose outside Blackfoot, Idaho. Western Pacific No. 434 is a 1955 built bay window caboose that was used on the Feather River route between Salt Lake City, Utah and Oakland, California before being retired. It has been updated to be a cozy tiny home while retaining much of the original layout. This includes original cabinets, closets, ceiling rails, and bathroom.

434 is located on a quiet country road conveniently located 3 miles from Blackfoot and I-15. On nearly an acre of ground, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. Enjoy our custom firepit, perfect for roasting a few marshmallows or watching the stars come out. A variety of wildlife frequents the area, including deer, fox, heron, ibis, sandhill cranes, and numerous songbirds.

The interior has been retrofitted with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. As you enter the caboose, you will find a set of bunk beds built in next to the original torpedo and fusee box. Train theme books and toys are stocked by the bunkbeds for kids. Opposite the bunk beds is a built-in bar with seating for four. The kitchen has all the basics necessary for cooking including an induction cooktop, pots and pans, utensils, oil and spices. In the center of the caboose, a living room area with a love seat and chairs is tucked into the bay windows. The original restroom has been converted into a small wet bath. Finally, at the far end of the caboose a bedroom area is outfitted with a comfortable full size bed. Games, a smart TV, and high speed internet are provided for your entertainment.

Outside, a patio with chairs and a dining table expands the available space. Make use of the propane grill or fire pit for outdoor cooking.

While the caboose has all the necessities, there are some inconveniences that are inherent with a tiny home and maintaining the original caboose features.

The town of Fernwood offers a full service grocery store with gas and propane. Behind the fire station is a RV dump site, portapotty.

Cozy country suite located 11 miles of City of Rocks and natural hot springs in Almo Idaho. Our home is in the mountains and junipers of Elba Idaho. Whomever stay must like animals, as we have chickens, dogs, cats and horses. The room has a nice rustic country feel. Suite comes with a full size bed and a couch, table, fridge, microwave and plastic silverware. There’s nice, large private shower. Our dogs do bark, especially the outside dog because of the backyard coyotes!! Enjoy mountains!

Located just off Highway 89 at the south end of beautiful Star Valley, Pinehaven Suite is the perfect location for those traveling to or from the national parks. Within an 3 hour drive to the South Entrance of Yellowstone and an hour and a half to the Teton National Park our private suite with private entrance has a king bed and queen sofa sleeper. Huge ensuite bathroom with shower and large soaker tub. The suite is very roomy with a beautiful bay window with views of the west mountain.

The space
Suite has large king sized bed, Tv, free wifi, electric fireplace and queen hide a bed sofa near the bay windows. There is also a mini fridge and microwave for longer stays. We invite you to check out several near by places of interest that you will find in our informational binder inside the suite.

On the south end of the house you will find the entrance to the suite. There is a keypad door lock. You will receive the code after your confirmation goes through, along with details of how to find us.

Other things to note
As we are location just off the highway, there is some road noise from time to time. Earplugs are available if you need them. We have lived here for over 10 years and don't mind it.

We are 4 miles from the town of Orofino and the Clearwater River. Wild turkey, deer, quail roam the property. Herds of elk pass through. Hilltop Haven gives you a 20+ mile mountain top view of the Clearwater valley. Dworshak reservoir is just a 30 minute drive. World class hunting,fishing,hiking and ATV riding are available within 30 minutes on public lands. We are just 4 miles from the Clearwater Valley Hospital. We are 40 miles from Lewiston/Clarkston for more shopping,dining and entertainment

You will have access of all 20 acres of the homestead. Stay within confines of property fencing to avoid encroachment on neighbors’ properties.
Be aware of an area of very steep hills and loose rock/gravel while walking. Easily seen and avoided.

Need a great private bedroom in eastern Idaho for a month? This is the spot! Fully furnished, convenient, cozy and spacious, this upstairs lofty feel is the perfect place to crash for a month. All utilities (wifi, electric, parking, cable tv, netflix, water) are included in the price.

The room is located on the upper level in a 3 level farmhouse located out in the country. There is a comfy queen size bed, private desk, closet space, dresser, cable tv and newly remodeled bathroom. Very comfy!

We live in a very unique home. The original house was built in 1928. The whole home has been remodeled (with several additions) and we're continuously making our home even nicer! The house is very spacious and everyone who lives here has their own private living spaces. We love the layout of our home, it's truly meaningful to us and we take pride in maintaining that farmhouse- craftsman style architecture.

We live on 5 beautiful acres. The home is 4000 square feet with a great deck in the backyard. We have plenty of space for parking any type of vehicle. We have a very big yard which guests are welcome to enjoy. We love this property as we have been here for 43 years. Our past guests love their unique experience with us and their travels to eastern Idaho.

Blackfoot is located between two larger cities (Idaho Falls and Pocatello). Both cities are only a 30 min drive away. I've had so many successful stays hosting traveling medical professionals, students, guests looking for a home to buy, skiers, locals and friends.

Nestled in a hundred acre wood at the base of the mountains with the Garden creek flowing through the property, this charming space is located near Lava Hot Springs, Downata Hot Springs, Pebble Creek Ski Resort and has close access to biking trails, snowmobiling areas, and rock climbing routes. The space
We have tried to think of everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. The full kitchen should have all you need to cook and prepare meals for 6 people. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans, bowls, etc. have all been supplied. The kitchen table has 2 additional leaves that will expand it to seat more people. Children are welcome in addition to the 6 adults. There is lots of floor space. The TV swivels either direction for easy viewing in bed or from the table. You can log into your Netflix, Amazon, or YouTube account and enjoy all your favorite shows or Amazon movie rentals. WiFi is fast and reliable for video streaming or work away from home. New BBQ grill. The open floor plan is like a studio but bigger. It has 2 comfy queen beds as well as a queen sofa bed.

The apartment is yours as well as the area around the deck. Across the gravel drive directly opposite the deck is an area with a fire pit and picnic table for recreation and parking. Fires are allowed unless seasonal restrictions say otherwise. Please park off the drive on the grass opposite the deck.

To accommodate our renters with allergies, no pets are allowed in the apartment. Dogs can be kept in a kennel under the deck. Pets must be leashed at all times as they are not allowed to wander the property. The hosts live in the brick house directly behind the apartment and there are tenants below you in a downstairs apartment as well.
Cell phone coverage is limited as we are in a rural area. AT&T has great coverage but others like Verizon are limited. AT&T coverage in the apartment may be sketchy with metal siding but should be fine near a window or on the deck. Wifi calling works with most smart phones.

The space
A completely renovated 1958 Aljoa RV with all the comforts of home! Located on our 10-acre family homestead. Enjoy your own private driveway with parking for two vehicles, 250 square ft covered deck, heated outdoor shower (seasonal), compost toilet/bathroom, fridge/freezer, stove with an oven and cold running water straight from the heart of Wilson Mountain. Go to sleep listening to coyotes at night and wake up to roosters in the morning.
Centrally located just over an hour from Coeur D'Alene, Moscow and Pullman. The small town of Fernwood is located just 10 minutes away with a Mercantile Store with all of the basic needs, and gas.

In addition to the propane stove/oven, there is a propane grill located on the back side of the camper. If you don't feel like cooking or just want to enjoy some farm to table cooking, we have a breakfast and dinner menu available that changes often and can be delivered to your doorstep with a 24hr notice.

There are trails down to the valley, lots of woods, a seasonal stream, and other fun reactional activities on-site including axe throwing and shooting. We raise Kunekune pigs, exotic and rare chickens, ducks, guineas and rabbits. Glory, our homestead Great Pyrenees patrols the property and keeps predators away. Ask about exploring the property and meeting the animals.

Located just a mile and a half off of highway 3, there is year round access. The cabin has its own private graveled driveway, but we do recommend 4WD during the snow season.

There is a small bunk in the camper, with low headspace. It can accommodate a small person or kid (under 100lbs). If youd like to use it, please ask about adding an additional 3rd guest.

There is no hot running water in the bathroom and camper sinks, but there is an electric water kettle provided in the camper and hot water in the shower.

We have a delightful Country Getaway with access to fishing, boating and a beautiful view. It is quiet and peaceful. We have shopping 30 minutes to Lewiston or Orofino. We are located on the beautiful Clearwater River in Idaho. high on a bluff. It is best to have an AWD or 4WD. Trac phone, Sprint, At & T or T-mobile do not work up here. Verizon or Inland Cellular work great. The Lenore bridge is closed until April 8th going East to Orofino.

1) The interior space consists of a living room/dining/kitchen area, two bedrooms, and one bathroom (shower/tub combo). The exterior has a front deck and back patio.
2) All living areas are only accessible by the front stairs or by walking up the side hill -- there is no elevator or lift. Stairs get slippery when icy, so use handrail, don't have your arms full, use caution, etc.
3) Basement and garage are locked and are not part of this rental.
4) HOUSE IS ONLY 700 SQ FT, therefore there is a FOUR PERSON LIMIT for overnight stays. Indicate how many people will be staying in the house in the "Guests" drop-down menu to the right.
5) PARKING & STREET SITUATION: There is room for 1 vehicle on the relatively steep gravel driveway facing the garage, 1 vehicle on the relatively flat gravel area in front of the juniper bushes, and 1 vehicle on the relatively flat gravel area near the fire hydrant; however, no vehicle may protrude onto the street. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OR PARK ON THE GRASSY SIDE YARD. The curve at the end of the cul-de-sac is very steep and narrow and can be impassable in snow or ice. MAXIMUM THREE VEHICLES ON PROPERTY (BOAT ON TRAILER COUNTS AS ONE VEHICLE).
6) Washer and dryer are not included in this rental, but there is a great laundromat within a 5-minute drive. There is a small (max 22-lbs.) portable dryer in the 2nd bedroom -- please set it up in the room, not the closet and don't put dripping wet items in it.
7) No pets are allowed in this rental.
8) No smoking or vaping inside the house, nor within 10 ft of an open window or door.
9) No fires are to be started in the living room fireplace.
10) Cell phone service is sketchy except for Verizon, however you can communicate using the WiFi connection in the house.

Stonewood Creek is situated in the glorious Idaho mountains with a terrain that is fun and easy to traverse whether hiking, running, ATVing, biking, snowshoeing, nordic skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, going on a leisurely stroll down a brief wooded path to the lake or if just sitting by the fire happens to be your wilderness preferred experience. Cascade Lake is just a stone's throw away so you can also fish, swim, kayak, jet ski, and waterski. Local outfitters can rent you the gear necessary or you can bring your own!

With the lockbox code you will have access to the entire cabin, property, fire pit, barbeque, patio, and picnic table. The lockbox is located on the side of the wooden column next to the front door. I will send you the code the day before you arrive.
The basement is a fully renovated garage, so access to it is outside through the French doors.
In the winter the road is snow-covered so make sure to have good tires; a 4x4 is also good.
Pets are welcome but are included in your guest count. Please see the requirements under house rules.

Stonewood Creek is located minutes from some of southwest Idaho's premier mountains and lakes which affords you the opportunity to enjoy four-season recreational activities.

Tamarack Resort is just 3 miles south of the cabin on West Mountain Road. You can take the chair lift up the mountain and ride your bike down, hike, zipline, snowshoe, snowboard, nordic, or cross-country ski.

Just 15 miles south on Highway 55 you can enjoy the Cascade Golf Course, the classic movie theater, The Roxy, and some great local fare.

Jug Mountain Ranch is just 15 miles north where you can enjoy its stunning golf course, mountain biking trails, summer concerts, great restaurant, and a beautiful wedding venue.

And then, of course, Brundage Mountain, stunning Payette Lake, Ponderosa State Park, Legacy Park, Manchester Ice Rink, McCall Golf Club, and a wide variety of restaurants are just 15 miles north on Highway 55 in McCall.
